This is not a French Cuisine. Maybe they think that but the basic receipt is lost along the way. Maybe it was not their day but it we laught as we thought Mr Fawlty spirit was in the house. Even the coffee is better served to you in a cafeteria. We wouldn’t recommend this restaurant if you expect French hospitality and good French Food. There is no love in this place.

Wir haben heute das Tages Menü gegessen. Es gab super leckere Karottensuppe, Spaghetti mit Venusmuschel, Kräutern und Knobi, eine grosse Kugel Vanilleeis gemischt mit Schokoeis. Dazu ein kleines Bier und zum Abschluss ein Espresso. Das Menü kostete mit Getränken 8,90€. Das Kuvert davor (Brot, Butter, Oliven, Knobiöl) pauschal 3€ dazu. Das Tagesmenü gibt es bis 15 Uhr. Sehr zu empfehlen . Die Bedienung auch super nett. Wir kommen wieder.

Суп был неплох, а вот фуагрой оказалось горячее блюдо, совершенно непригодное для еды. Ощущение, что это были сырые телячьи мозги, мощно залитые маслом.
Также в масле плавали и блинчики «от шефа». Очень невкусно.

Nous sommes venus entre amis. La nourriture est bonne, bien présentée, la serveuse gentille mais le service est très long. Nous étions servis un par un et devions commencer, seul, le plat pour qu'il ne refroidisse pas. Nous pensons qu'il y a un problème en cuisine.

Really bad service, rude waitresses. We wanted to sit upstairs where it somewhat a view but the waiter said that the boss had a meeting upstairs and we were not aloud to go up. Weird! The food was really terrible. We shared two starters and two main. Bad really sad.

Terrible experience. The place is beautiful but the cod was full of spines to an extent it could not be eaten. No solution from the staff or chef, we paid the full bill just to not return ever again.

Muy grata sorpresa. Por momentos me he sentido en medio de Burdeos!!!!! Platos muy bien preparados y un servicio espectacular todo a un precio muy razonable. Totalmente recomendable!!

Repas maison excellent, dorade délicieuse et dessert crêpe banane chocolat et 3 boules de glace avec chantilly, sangria très bonne, et vin blanc sec servi au verre pour 2,5 euros (et il ne regarde pas la dose) très bon, le tout pour un prix très raisonnable

Not good experience. Food far away from tasty. Roasted chicken super-dry. Bacallau “croquettes” not a good choice. Its a pity such good location to give this kind of food.

Excellent dinner in a cozy old converted Portuguese home. The starter was a refreshing platter of thin sliced zucchini with microgreens, feta cheese, and balsamic. Main courses of braised duck with roasted orange on a bed of mashed potatoes, and a delicious moist tender chicken with a mild curry sauce on a bed of rice. Desert was fresh watermelon with fruit. Outstanding at a very reasonable price

We were a little late, but still they were friendly enough to let us eat 20 minutes before closing. Had great suggestions for the different dishes and the accompanying wine was the best choice. They speak English and French in a very good way. The decoration was real cosy, unfortunately no pictures taken.

Un lugar maravilloso! Fui a cenar por mi cumpleaños con mi pareja y todo estaba delicioso. Lugar bonito, con buena vista y muy buen trato del personal. Lo recomiendo 100%!

We have been in Cascais for over a week and have been dining in the lovely restaurants all around. The standards are very good food and service until last night. We took a wider path to Cascais and found this place. It looked very small and cosy but we were sent up to a lovely verandah overlooking the the town. The alarm bells started ringing when the bread arrived, basic baguette but stale. No excuses, 2 mins in the oven and we wouldn't have noticed. My wife had the oven cooked seabass and i the grilled sea bream. Both dishes arrived and were crudely put together by someone thinking they know food. They were the most unappealing dishes. My wife said her seabass was insipid and to make things worse, my grilled sea bream which had no grill flavour was under cooked. I pointed out that to the lady whom served us and she did offer to put it back in the oven where i believe it initially came from for a few minutes. But at that stage i had lost my appetite and just asked for the bill. I paid for everything but for future guests please be warned, a very poor restaurant in an area full of good food. You have been warned.. AVOID.

Food was not great and the scallops were horrible we did not have a good time there. I had a crepe there and the crepe is hard a little too. The food wasent the best and we are not gonna go back there again. Personally, I don't understand why every one on this is giving 5 stars or 4 stars!

Cozy little restaurant. The food was very good, the prices were also very reasonable, the food serving was very nice. We had carrot soup (excelent) and roasted chicken with potatoes and salad. The waitress was very helpful and polite. The inside was cosy and nice. Overall a really good place.

On a small side street, has seating inside and out. Inside is styled rustically but with bright white lights. Candles on tables weren't lit until another diner asked. The cod dish was a nice sized piece of cod, but full of bones, swimming in a pool of olive oil and spinach. Crème brulee was a prepared custard (with skin) but didn't crunch. House wine was good and nobody tried to sell us bread we didn't want.

Lugar cerca del centro, muy acogedor y con unos creps muy buenos tanto para niños como para mayores. Recomendable.

Comida casera muy rica con buenas raciones. Local acogedor y tranquilo. Menú del día con precio asequible, 9-12€. De postre el menú incluía crepe con chocolate, riquísimo. También incluye la bebida, café, sopa del día y primer plato del día.

Erstes mal Top, zweites mal ein Flop.
Bei einem Besuch in Cascais fanden wir durch Zufall dieses kleine nette Lokal und waren von der portugiesischen Bedienung herzlichst empfangen und mit einem super leckerem Menüs verwöhnt worden. Vielen lieben Dank an die beiden Mädels.
Diese erste und wunderbare Erfahrung wollten ein paar Tage später wiederholen. Leider waren die beiden einheimischen Frauen an diesem Tag nicht da, dafür aber eine sehr unfreundliche und geschäftlich unerfahren wirkende junge (scheinbar russischer Abstammung) Frau, die uns mit ihrer Art zu verstehen gab, das wir (4 Personen) nicht besonders willkommen seien.
Schade das wir das erste Erlebnis nicht wiederholen konnten.

Very nice restaurant with a scenic view from the 1st floor room. A few tables if you want to stay al fresco. Excellent food, extremely kind staff. Well decorated. Delicious food served from unusual style.It's well located. Not far from the train station, in the city centre, overlooking the bay. There is also a set menu and a la carte. A place to have dinner or lunch in a very nice atmosphere

I'm not sure sure how/why this place has gotten so many positive reviews.
I went in a group of 8 for lunch and none of us had a good meal.
I had extremely bland chicken, and it still haunts me to this day that in the land of Piri Piri Chicken I wasted a lunch here.

Bon restaurant, mais pas non plus excellent. Assez cher pour ce qu'on a dans les assiettes malgré une belle présentation. Seulement quelques tables dehors. Les serveuses sont sympathiques. L'intérieur est un peu démodé (vieux bois et banquette) et la musique d'ambiance fait vieillot également.

Très bon, menus à 9 euro avec du poisson et à 12 euros avec de la viande. Le menu comprend entrée, plat ,dessert, boisson, café. Copieux, la part de poulet roti était un demi poulet!

La comida del menú estaba buena aunque poca cantidad (una taza de sopa y cuatro sardinas con una pizca de ensalada). El personal poco amable. No podía comer el único postre que ofrece el menú y no me dieron alternativas, sin tampoco bajar el precio, aunque el precio del menú es razonable.
