Fantastic cafe! We rented an Airbnb just up the road and stumbled across Miolo, the food was absolutely fantastic, and the service even better! We ended up going for breakfast there everyday after discovering, despite it only being a short visit! Thoroughly recommend!

We just so happened to stay down the street from the cute little spot in Bairro Alto and are so happy we found it. Not only is the place super cute and a good atmosphere, but the food is delicious and worth a trip. We also adored the couple who owns the place, definitely would recommend.

Super cute little place that I happened upon in Bairro Alto. It is owned by a lovely couple. I got breakfast here twice during my stay in Lisbon, and both times were delicious! The Avo Toast was sooo good, and I loved the sweet potato bread they use for the toast. Coffee was great as well!

I discovered this little restaurant, by chance, while strolling in the Bairro Alto. The boss is super attentive and everything is delicious! Bread for sandwiches is homemade, the carrot cake is a delight and the wine is also very fine. A little piece of paradise in Lisbon, far away from tourisitic purpose. I recommend!

Amazing place with the most delicious menu and the most friendly and attentive service. A must-visit place for those who stroll through the city and likes to eat well and in beautiful places. The plastic-free concept and veggie options make this place even cooler.

I've been trying out cakes around lisbon and I consider this as I be of the best! I tried both the carrot cake and chocolate with white chocolate and both were amazing. They had a perfect combination of a moist cake and not that sweet. Everyday they have different cakes so if you go you might find different cakes but I could guess they are equally good. Each slice is a 3 Euros. Also it it's very near the center but it closes very early so it's better to go just after lunch for something sweet. They also have breakfast (brunch at 12 Euros) and lunch options mostly toast ( between 4-7 Euros). Keep in mind that the restaurant is really small it only has one table and a bar part with 5 chairs.

O Miolo é um espaço catita, pequenino e aconchegante. Mas é muito mais do que isso. É uma (quase) casa. É a (quase) casa - ou a 2a casa - da Catarina e do João, um casal inspirador e podia muito bem ser a nossa também. Demorámo-nos ali e mais espaço houvesse e tínhamos permanecido sem nos dar conta das horas a passar. Por lá, há sandes criativas para todos os gostos e um brunch ma-ra-vi-lho-so, sobre o qual recaiu a nossa escolha. Mas nós somos assim: adoramos ouvir histórias que podiam muito bem ser a nossa, à volta de uma mesa recheada de boa comida e de muita cor. O brunch, esse, é variado e as fotos falam por si e refletem muito bem o que ele representa: amor! É composto por uma das sandes abertas do Miolo, ovos mexidos com crocante de bacon, uma fatia de bolo caseiro ou pão de banana caseiro, um sumo natural com fruta da época e uma bebida quente à escolha. Pedimos uma sandes de salmão fumado com queijo-creme fresco, espinafres, rabanete, sumo de limão e ovas de esturjão e outra de cogumelos salteados, tomilho, canónigos, tomate cereja e ervas frescas, os ovos mexidos, uma fatia de bolo de chocolate e um pão de banana (que é só o melhor que já comi), um sumo do dia e outro de laranja e ainda dois cappuccinos. Tudo delicioso e prometemos logo voltar para provar as (restantes) sandes mais badaladas do Bairro Alto. Tudo merece a pena, tal não é a dedicação, atenção ao detalhe e amor que se sentem ao entrar naquele espaço que sabe a casa.

Very lovely café! We had the brunch menu with a salmon toast, eggs and bacon, homemade banana bread or cake, warm drink and a juice. Everything was delicious and we enjoyed it very much. The owners are very friendly and have decorated their cute café with a lot of attention to detail. Definitely recommend it!

Amazing experience! We found put about this place thanks to the local hostel who recommend it to us. We checked on Google reviews first and there were only positive. Indeed we went and the couple who is running the cafe were brilliant and also the food was fantastic!!! The decoration is just our vibe too. I totally recommend it guys!!! On top of that I have to say I really liked the fact they use metal straws and no plastic straws!! Big plus!!

Ich bin per Zufall vorbeigelaufen und hab mir ein extrem leckeres Avocado Brot bestellt. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und hat sich bei der Zubereitung sehr viel Mühe gegeben.

Nice little cafe hidden in the narrow streets. Seems to be a fairly new place with nice food concept. Good quality, everything freshly made by the owner on site.
