Excellent food, cheap prices, and nice service. You can wait a long time for the food, but if you are not in a hurry, it is worth the wait. Arrive at least 10 minutes before the opening for dinner (which is at 8 pm) and wait in line in front of the door in order to have a place.

Стейк тунца это не стейк в привычном понимании. Это вымоченная в чем-то очень соленом рыба, тушеная или запеченая. В общем на вкус так себе. В целом место приятное, семейное, но с едой не повезло.
Обед на двоих с водой 25 евро (1 суп, стейк тунца, дорадо, бутылка воды)

We had one of our best dinners during our stay in Lisbon at this little family owned restaurant. You can’t beat the quality or the price of the dishes there. We all tasted the soup, super tasty and spicy, and I had the tuna with onions (I was super lucky cause apparently it’s the house speciality). Thank you so much for taking in a group of 6 French (drunk) people at 10 in the evening on a Monday night, we had a great time !

Un lugar pequeño pero con bueno servicio. Básicamente sirven pescados y carnes, pero la comida está muy rica.

Restaurante simple pero con buen servicio. La carta se compone mayormente de carnes y pescados. Todos los platos los acompañan de patatas fritas o cocidas. Justamente, el plato de la imagen es su atún. Lo mejor sus precios, es un restaurante muy barato.

Nice place, small but happy. Personnel are available and kind. Food is fresh and tasty, maybe a little too seasoned. Competitive price. Mind the queue outside the place because you may wait until an hour to have a table! But it's recommended!

Such a huge disappointment. Since when I'm living in Lisbon I ve been hearing good things about this place, but my experience was very poor. Even though I had made a, reservation, it took 1 hour before getting our food, when we tried to speak with the personnel they would pretend not to see us, which is something I really hate as strongly impolite (and I've been working as waitress myself). When the food arrived I was again very disappointed, extremely oily and not worth the wait. Also, the menu did not offer a good portuguese choice, but mostly things to satisfy the appetite of foreigners, in my belief. Remember to make reservation in advance.

Nos lo recomendó nuestro guía del free tour por el barrio de la moreria... y vaya acierto!! Es un restaurante familiar que nos gustó tanto que repetimos, las dos ocasiones 15€/persona con botella de vino y postre.
Merece muchísimo la pena, ingredientes frescos, todo riquísimo! Recomiendo el bacalao borracho

Secuestraria a la cocinera!
Entramos al restaurante, ya que cuando íbamos de Tour turístico, salieron unos chicos del restaurante recomendándolo con una efusividad exagerada... al día siguiente allá que fui! Ya estoy deseando volver a Lisboa para volver a repetir en este restaurante. Un salmón de una calidad exagerada y unos precios low cost!

Comida económica y con buena cantidad, la comida es muy elaborada y casera, por eso tarda un poco. Local pequeño, de ahí su (calidad a los justos), acogedor y familiar. Sin duda para mi de lo mejor para comer de Portugal.

A comida é 6 estrelas. A organização, nem tanto. A gente teve que esperar uma mesa por volta de 30 minutos, mas teve gente que esperou muito mais, pois pessoas passaram na frente. Tem que ficar esperto com isto. O bacalhau a Trigueirinho é espetacular!

Well, food...few choices but amazing quality and cheap price But...
- waiting more than hour Monday evening is no possible. I was thinking to go as was really long.
- eating in a foggy place with door always open and closed as no extractor fan is really weird. After s while furthermore eyes started to be painful.

O Triguerinho è il tipico locale di quartiere a Lisbona. I piatti non male, ma non superano la sufficienza. La qualità delle materie prime è davvero venerabile, pesce freschissimo dai profumi che difficilmente trovi in giro nel mondo, ma la superficialità con cui si aggiungono spezie e soprattutto aromi a mio avviso non esaltano i veri sapori.
I dolci e i vini darei un voto parecchio scarso, davvero non mi sono piaciuti.
Una cosa davvero insopportabile, e questo però succede spesso a Lisbona, è la mancanza di cappe aspiranti così la sala viene impestata di fumo di cucina, ma ripeto non è stato l'unico locale di Lisbona.
Concludo dicendo che il conto è stato molto basso considerando le portate, ed è per questo che merita una sufficienza, ma che sia da stimolo al miglioramento dei piatti.

This has been the best place where we ate in Lisbon. The service was perfect and the personal very kind, the portions are big and the prices are really great! The fish is delicious. Definitely the right place to stop to have a typical and really satisfying meal.

Noi ci siamo stati l anno scorso a gennaio in occasione del nostro primo viaggio a Lisbona e l abbiamo frequentato tutte le sere mangiando sia la carne che il pesce! Quest anno, tornati di nuovo, abbiamo ripetuto l esperienza! Locale sempre affollato ma piatti buonissimi cucinati espressi che valgono l attesa! Prezzi particolarmente competitivi. Quartiere affascinante.

The food here tastes just like home-cooking. It was local and authentic. The waiter gave me really good recommendations. I had the tuna steak w/ fried potatoes and onions. For dessert, I had the caramel flan. Both dishes were to die for. Check this spot out if you’re in Alfama!

Llegamos al restaurante a través de un blog de viajeros y al igual que otro más al que fuimos, este fue también un acierto! Fuimos 2 veces ( ya tiene que estar bueno para que repitamos en un restaurante ). Platos abundantes y comida de buena calidad! El único pero sería que el servicio no es el más rápido del mundo y sales oliendo a cocina ( no les funciona bien la extracción ) pero cuando pruebas ese queso que te ponen, el pan, o simplemente pruebas alguno de los postres caseros, se te olvida todo lo demás! Recomendable para todo el mundo!

Très longue attente.. cuisine en plein dans le restaurant, ce qui fait qu'en sortant vous sentez l'huile... entre autres.
Le poisson était frais, mais très mal cuit (cru à l'intérieur, et accompagnements laissent à désirer..
Malheureusement déçu.

상조르제성갔다가 너무 배고파서 들린 가게. 현지 맛집이라 느낀게 들어간지 얼마 안돼서 현지인들로 꽉 차고 웨이팅까지 생겼습니다. 서빙하는 분이 영어를 엄청 잘하시고 포르투갈어로 된 메뉴를 하나하나 설명해주셔서 감동받았습니다... 아쉬운건 대구요리, 해물밥이 맨날 되는게 아니어서 못 시켰습니다. 생선요리랑 스테이크, 무슨 포르투갈전통요리(밥인데 된장맛이 납니다.) 메인메뉴 세개시키고 25유로 나왔습니다.

Si vous voulez une immersion portugaise, c’est l’endroit qui vous faut. Une cuisine locale et bonne comme chez mamie. Lorsque vous rentrez, vous êtes accueillis par un charmant serveur parlant aussi bien portugais, anglais que français. les plats sont délicieux pour le prix proposés. Je vous conseille le mérou attention, il faut arriver à l’ouverture ;)

Sitio familiar con comida exquisita, quizás le falte algo más de rapidez al servir pero se compensa con la calidad de la comida y lo increíblemente barato que es.

The food is pretty decent and at a good affordable price. However, the wait time is quite long. I must have waited 40mins to an hour for my house grilled steak. The wait increased my anticipation, but the food is... just good, not great. It’s absolutely worth in terms of affordability, but it’s not amazing. Do not come here if you’re hungry because you’ll have to wait a long time. Or order some bread or something, so you’ll have something to eat before the meal comes. I dined solo so didn’t share any appetisers and was ravenous when my food came.

Ci siamo recati in questa taverna consigliata da una guida locale, e devo dire che ci siamo trovati benissimo.
L’ambiente e lo stile non è certo quello di Versailles, tuttavia il personale è stato gentilissimo e ci siamo sentiti come a casa; nonostante sia preso d’assalto da parecchi turisti l’ambiente è comunque familiare e la cucina è decisamente apprezzabile.
Consiglio vivamente di arrivare sul posto qualche minuto prima dell’apertura, noi siamo stati i primi a sederci e siamo rimasti sbalorditi nel constatare quanto poco tempo ci è voluto al locale per riempirsi.

Le personnel est accueillant, à l'écoute et vous conseilleront si vous le demandez. Les plats sont goûteux, copieux et peu onéreux. Pas de mauvaise surprise avec les amuse gueules, vous devez les demander. L'ambiance est sympathique. 13 euros pour une entrée, plat, dessert, café et boisson.

Un restaurante con mucho encanto. Camarero encantador. Comida casera típica. La espera merece la pena. El arroz portugués con gambas buenísimo y los postres de escándalo !!! Hay que ir muy temprano, siempre hay cola, que es buena señal. Volveremos seguro.

Comida portuguesa tradicional a un precio muy asequible. La calidad es muy buena y tiene muy buen sabor. Cuál es el principal problema? El tiempo de espera de mesa y de los platos. Si tenéis tiempo de ir, sin ninguna prisa, es sin duda recomendable. Si por el contrario vais apurados de tiempo, no ir porque es complicado estar menos de 1h40' entre esperas y comer.

Highly recommended. Good food, cheap price. We had "atum de cebolada" and "bacalhau à Trigueirinho". Both great choices. Only thing: the dessert was not very good. I had a semifrio (chocolate com profitteroles). Maybe try the doce da casa ("tareco").

Si lo que tratas es encontrar un sitio donde comer comida casera portuguesa, este es uno de los mejores sitios. Esta muy céntrico y los precios son bastante bajos. Lo malo es que te puedes encontrar gente esperando. La atención de los camareros es buenísima. Cuando vuelva a Lisboa, es un sitio en el que pienso repetir, ya que el pescado y los arroces son exquisitos. Recomiendo sobre todo las sardinas, que me recuerdan a los mejores espetos de la costa del sol.

Worth the two-hour wait, although the beers we had while in the line really softened the blow of the wait also. The dishes were excellent, beautiful flavors served simply. Very very inexpensive, even moreso considering the quality of the food. Try to book if you can but no matter how you get here, make sure you go!

Estávamos a procura de um restaurante tipo Português e foi o que encontramos, restaurante familiar, com um otómo atenciosamento e a comida.. Ah a comida estava deliciosa!! Pedimos Salmao grelhado e bife de atum realmente muito muito bom! É com um preço ótimo! Super recomendo!

Place only opens for dinner and people started lining up or waiting at 745pm. They said they don’t open for lunch.
Go here for grandma cooking! Was one of the yummiest meals I had in Lisbon!
Prices are a steal! Menu isn’t huge and the daily menu is in Portuguese only. Also the waiting time to get your food is long too but I think or believe it’s just one person making the meal. So make sure you eat a late lunch!

The food is ok, but they charge you with €3.50 “couvert” for bread, cheese and olives. Not only is illegal charging you with something you didn’t order but this what NOT EVEN SPECIFIED IN THE MENU. Definitely not coming back, this is a complete mistreat and a lack of respect to your clients.

It was dope. Traditional Portuguese vibe, like "authentic," but not the kind of thing you Instagram. Ginormous portion of excellent, home cooked veal, potatoes, and veg. A bottle of wine for 6 euros (I know, right?). And the best tiramisu like dessert you've ever had. Simple decor, friendly staff, gets busy quick, and so worth it. Just go.

I walked by this place on my first night in Lisbon, and am glad I came back for dinner. The night I got there, I was put on a waiting list, so I had a drink at the local fado club. The place was packed in early February, mostly a local crowd. When I returned, I ordered the blackened swordfish, which arrived as two narrow fish grilled and blacked to perfection accompanied with carrots, potatoes, and cabbage boiled in heavily salted water because nothing needed more seasoning. I had a 375 ml bottle of vino verde and the house dessert. The staff were friendly, helpful, and all smiles. I felt welcome, and I am a solo traveler. A classy joint and a great meal, what else could you ask for?
I highly recommend this two block neighborhood. I started my morning coffee here, explored Lisbon, had lunch somewhere else, but returned here every night for drinks, dinner, and fado. This was the sweetest place to land in Lisbon. Check out my Google reviews of these neighborhood joints: Cantinho do Aziz, O Trigueirinho, Union Empanadas, Tasqinha Canto do Fado, O Velho Eurico, and Leitaria Moderna. There are other places including an Italian restaurant and a gelato shop. You cannot go wrong staying in this area. The people were friendly, inviting, with big smiles and bigger laughs. I will come back.

I ragazzi che ci lavorano sono molto gentili e disponibili. 4 stelle perché c'è poca organizzazione, abbiamo aspettato 45 minuti ma ne è valsa la pena. Even though we didn't manage to try calamari as they were over, steaks and fish were great.

Lieu chaleureux, personnel accueillant et parlant plusieurs langues. La cuisine est simple mais tellement bonne. Quand aux prix, allez y les yeux fermés, la carte est très abordable. Moins de 20€ par personne, apéritif, entrée + plat + dessert + vin.

I waited for around 10 minutes inside the restaurant and nobody talked to me, then when I asked about the waiting list the waitress (if I had to guess she was the owner actually) looked at me with a disgusted face and then laughed at my face and just said she didn’t know about anything.
It’s really sad how some people can treat you just because you don’t speak Portuguese from Portugal. I hope they learn how to treat everyone well, I’m tired of xenophobic behavior even I’m traveling here for just one week!

Fuimos ayer por la noche a cenar y fue la mejor elección que pudimos hacer. Buscamos para comer por internet y tenía muy buenas reseñas. Yo estaba entre un arroz de gambas y el atún que ponía en los comentarios que estaba muy rico. Le pregunté a la camarera, una chica jovencita y súper agradable y me recomendó el atún. Estaba riquísimo!. Para el postre hice lo mismo, le dije a ella que me recomendara uno y me recomendó el de la foto, es el especial de la casa, estaba espectacular. Eso sí, hay que ir a las 20:00 porque el sitio es pequeñito y en diez minutos está completo. Otra opción es llamar para reservar. Fueron muy atentos, al finalizar nos pusieron unos vasitos con vino y unas castañas asadas porque era la celebración "do San Martiño".La comida es muy económica y muy bien elaborada. Recomendadísimo

Lugar pequeño y acogedor. Recomendamos llamar con antelación para reservar mesa porque tiene pocas mesas y suele haber gente esperando para cenar. La cantidad de los platos es generosa y las diferentes variedades de pescado de buena calidad. El lomo de atún y la dorada nuestros favoritos. Només he fet un plat: Bacalhau Trigueirinho amb mitja ampolla de Adega Ponte de Lima (vinho verde). El bacallà tan bo com el que fa la meva mare i és que aqui es respira un aire familiar. Al punt de sal i un xic masa fet. Amb una miqueta de tomàquet, ceba i pebrot vermell fregit per sobre. Una delicia pel paladar.

If you want to eat here, be on time. We arrived at this place 10 minutes before it opens and the queue after us was very long. When the place opened, the restaurant was almost full.
An hour after opening time, a lot of people (+- 15) are waiting to go inside.

Restaurante de carácter familiar y es así, por la cercanía en la que comes de otro clientes, con mesas pegadas, como te hacen sentir. La carta está llena de platos típicos y cotidianos realizados de manera muy casera. No es una carta muy extensa, pero lo contrarrestan con platos llenos de sabor y exquisitos. Muy recomendable sobre todo para los amantes del pescado, aunque sus platos de carne también tienen una pinta espectacular. Aquí os dejo imagen de dorada a la brasa con verdura cocida y bacalao con una salsa de mayonesa con una cubierta de patatas laminadas horneadas.

Nous étions 2 adultes et 2 enfants pour le dîner. Suite aux bons commentaires, nous sommes arrivés à 19:15 afin d'être les premiers en file pour essayer ce resto de cuisine local. Prendre note que le resto ouvre ses portes seulement à 20hrs et ne prend pas les réservations. Les premiers en file seront les premiers servis et une seule table est servie à la fois. Donc, même si vous réussissez à obtenir une place pour l'ouverture, vous pouvez attendre jusqu'à 1hr30 pour avoir votre plat. Pour ce qui est du repas, bien sûr les prix sont très abordables, mais la qualité des plats est plutôt ordinaire. Un poulet desséché, sans doute réchauffé, un bon poisson, mais sans assaisonnements. Restaurant qui ne vaut pas l'attente malheureusement...

Especialmente recomendable el "bacalao borracho": parece una lasaña de patatas pero debajo lleva el bacalao bañado en vino de porto y ajos. Muy sabroso. Las cocineras son señoras mayores y eso se nota en el sabor de los platos. Los postres también espectaculares. Grandes y ricas porciones. Lo único que no nos gustó fue que a las 8 pasan a todo el mundo a cenar a la vez y sientan a la gente unos de lado de otros (especialmente a las parejas). Si no quieres los entrantes que ponen (y que hay que pagar), la espera se hace un poco larga...

Superb. The MASSIVE tuna loin with onions and red wine sauce (house specialty) is excellent. As is the signature whipped cream with custard (?) dessert. With a traditional garlic and parsley soup and glass of white wine, the entire meal was 15e (including a tip for the excellent waiter). Do not be put off by the long wait; it is more than worth it.

Super lieu. Les plats sont copieux et délicieux. Une très très bonne adresse à venir essayer. Des prix vraiment raisonnables et une ambiance typique.

Ottima cucina casalinga in un angolo nascosto di Lisbona.
Abbiamo mangiato a pranzo un ottima zuppa di pesce, sardine alla griglia e un filetto di pesce.
Tutto ottimo con servizio gentile e preparato.
Localino intimo con pochi tavolini.
Prezzo modico.
Da consigliare assolutamente.

Eine super gute kleine Cantina, exzellenter Fisch. Auch wenn es voll ist, und es ist immer voll, Reservierung unbedingt notwendig, ist der Service entspannt und freundlich. Sehr gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis mit 50% einheimischen Gästen.

Je suis venu accompagné de ma grand-mère de 75 ans, qui s’est déplacée difficilement jusqu’au restaurant en raison des nombreuses marches. Nous sommes arrivés 20 minutes avant l’ouverture pour être finalement refusés sans trop de politesse car la totalité des tables était réservée à l’avance. En réalité, seules quelques-unes d’entre elles étaient indiquées comme réservées. Restaurant non accessible aux clients de passage.

Super restaurant. Il ne paye pas de mine à l'extérieur, mais une fois dedans tout est génial!!!!
Les prix sont fous, les plats délicieux et copieux.
Je vous conseille vraiment vraiment ce bel, endroit typique lisboete !!!!

Se puede comer sin humo y sin esperar 40 minutos (de servicio, no sr cola) mejor en varios sitios de Lisboa. Comida casera, raciones más bien escasas, servicio lento. Hay mejores sitios en Lisboa. No me plantearía hacer cola. Bien, correcto. Sobrevalorado.

Bien mangé mais service très long, servisbn 3/4 h après avoir passé la commande!!! Des gens arrivés 1/4h après nous ont été servis 1/4h avant nous. Ça met un peu en colère.

Bon repas bien arrosé. Ce sont deux sœur qui tiennent l’endroit. La nourriture est typiquement portugaise et délicieuses. Prix raisonnable et service courtois.

Es empfiehlt sich um kurz vor 8pm schon da zu sein, da es stets eine Schlange gibt vor dem Restaurant. Der Kellner war so lieb und hat uns das Tagesmenü einmal kurz übersetzt. Unsere Wahl fiel auf: gegrillter weißer Fisch und Truthahn Keule. Beides kam mit Kartoffeln und Gemüse. Unglaublich lecker :-) absolut empfehlenswert!

Siamo stati la prima sera, poi ci siamo stati la seconda sera e non convinti ci andremo domani sera; ottimo, buono , conveniente, simpatico. Armarsi di pazienza perché ci vuole tempo, ma quando i piatti arrivano sono super. Noi abbiamo mangiato sempre pesce. Buono , cucinato con semplicità per far esaltare la qualità del pesce. Cameriere simpatico che bada a tutti i clienti con buoni consigli . Purtroppo non ci sono sei stelle, li avrebbero meritate.

Cucina semplice ma buona. Si respira una atmosfera di casa
