We were walking by having no idea of the goodness of this restaurant. We had their special lunch menu. Fun and joy what we experienced by cooking our own meat and also sharing the fish made by the cook. Congratations guys. I bearly make comments but I am so impressef this time.

The restaurant was very nice, food delicious and staff very friendly. The fish tacos were amazing! We also had the buffalo mozzarella on tomatoes which was good. The pepper stuffed with king crab was underwhelming as it was just a purreed dip. The reason I gave this review a 4 star was because when you arrive they place your bread, olives and pumpkin jam on your table as if it is complimentary. When I sae the bill at the end they actually charge 4, 5 .€ for it. In my opinion they should tell you that. Overall, good experience.

The salmon was kinda ok but the tuna despite being sunken in souce was bone dry. And we also waited quite a while for our food to arrive. Overall not a good experience despite the staff being super nice and attentive.

Excellent taste of Portugal! Best way to spend our first night in Lisboa. Vinny was an amazing host and helped us plan the rest of our stay. The wine selection is awesome! Highly recommend the 4 wine flight! :)

The staff was so friendly and helpful, which was useful since we had no clue what we were doing. Our waitress even helped us grill our food because we were clearly doing it wrong. The wine pairings were useful and we enjoyed everything we ordered. Maybe make a reservation? We got in without one, but we came early.

Foi uma maravilha. Confesso que não tinha uma expectativa muito alta sobre este local mas foi uma excelente surpresa! Não só a simpatia dos funcionários, do próprio cozinheiro e de um dos gerentes, mas também a fusão maravilhosa dos ingredientes / alimentos. Foi muito muito bom! Recomendo 5*****! E o abade de priscos ... simplesmente divinal! Voltarei com toda a certeza! Obrigado

Buen sitio para hacer una parada. La carne brutal, la carta tenia buena pinta. De vinos tiene un montón de cosecha propia y hacen catas de ellos. Recomiendo la visita tanto para tomar algún vino, como para cenar. Buenos precios.

Best dinner I've had in some time. The dishes themselves are amazing, the staff is very friendly and since this restaurant is owned by/related to (?) a winery, they also offer very good wine and port arrangements - that's definitely recommended!

This was one of the best meals in a restaurant since quite some time. The service is excellent as is the food. You have a choice of excellent wines or spirits that perfectly match the food. Portions are not huge but big enough. The taste of the food is simply delicious. We expected good food, but it was excellent. I will definitely come back and can recommend the place. You don't even need to reserve a place. Price is absolutely appropriate as well (not cheap, but totally OK for what you get).

Comida muito boa e saborosa, se bem que no javali para grelhar eram fatias finíssimas tipo fiambre e minúsculas em tamanho, pareciam farripas . O serviço e o ambiente foram normais. O problema, é o preço que é absolutamente excessivo. Por um restaurante bom paga-se o preço de um de luxo (preparem 30€ por pessoa para uma refeição simples). Gostei muito, mas não penso voltar.

Très bien accueilli et servi. Nous avons pris une "fondue" où on cuisine comme sur une pierrade du veau et de la saucisse fumée. Le tout accompagné de 3 verres de vins portugais partagés à deux. Un repas simple et abordable pour un soir.

Good food and service at the table, but we ordered 5 or 6 dishes and each arrived one after the other, with at least 40 minutes passing between the first and the last. Some other tables that arrived later than us had all of their dishes at the same time. It was a disappointing experience to eat each of the dishes one after the other.

Entrée excellente (petite confiture citrouille + canelle à tomber, olives délicieuces (et pourtant je déteste de base les olives et la cannelle)).Le plat principal à partager à 2 : fondue de veau, patates frites et salades, vraiment très bon et serveur très agréable.
Je regrette cependant l'absence de cocktails sans alcool.

One of my favorite restaurants in Lisbon for many reasons: fresh ingredients, tasty flavors, generous portions, great customer service, reasonable prices ... I can go on and on. I would recommend fish tacos if you love salmon with a little kick and the ceviche. Absolutely delicious- please try for yourself.

We randomly we were walking by and decided to eat here while vacationing in Lisbon. I am so glad we did! This is by far the best meal I have ever had in my life! The service was also amazing. I can not imagine there is anyone who wouldn't find something on this diverse menu to love. I am already planning to eat here on my trip back to Portugal. The Salmon Avocado dish is the stuff dreams are made of. If you are in Lisbon, don't miss the chance to dine here.

Delicious food! We're here for lunch and we took dish of the day - meat fondue or codfish - we took meat as you can see in the foto. We had to cook it on the special fondue pan. Delicious sauces, fried potatos and wine!

My wife and I ate lunch here on the day we arrived. The food and wine was incredible and the staff was warm and hospitable and recommended a few other places for us to try which ended up being great successes - just like Eating Bear!

In één woord: geweldig. De service is perfect. Er wordt de tijd genomen om uitleg te geven over de soorten wijn en bij de gerechten wordt een bijpassende wijn geadviseerd. Het restaurant heeft een eigen wijnhuis. En het eten was fantastisch. De tapas zijn per portie aan de grote kant. Zeker voor de lunch zou ik eerst 1 soort per persoon bestellen, je kunt de gerechten samen delen. Tip: de tonijn ceviche. Als dessert hebben wij een chocolade / caramel-zeezout taartje met peperkorrels genomen, de smaak was heel goed.

An amazing vineyard-owned restaurant, with superb food and wine. One may expect the wine to be very good, but the food we equally good. The service was very attentive and polite. Much better food, wine and service than many 2 - 3 star Michelin restaurants I have dined at. Bravo to the chef, staff and owner!

A comida é muito boa, com alguns sabores surpreendentes. Doses muito generosas - nunca me tinham servido em lado nenhum uma dose tão grande de ceviche de atum, que estava óptimo.
O problema é mesmo a falta de ar condicionado para os dias mais quentes.
Vale a pena.

Ordinate tuna cevice e tartare di salmone, più due bicchieri di vino da loro consigliati come abbinamento. Condimento esagerato. Sul conto ci vengono segnati erroneamente (???) due bottiglie di vino, rispettivamente 22€ e 19€ dopo corretto con 7,5€ a calice. Un po’ alto il prezzo di un calice per bottiglie di vino di quel prezzo e per il posto.

Simplemente excelente. Lo encontramos por casualidad y volveríamos sin dudarlo. Personal super amable, carta muy cuidada, cantidad adecuada y precio estupendo. Por 20 euros por cabeza hemos quedado requete servidos. Todos nuestros platos fueron un acierto, pero todo lo que sirvieron a las mesas de alrededor tenía una pinta deliciosa. Si viviesemos en Lisboa sería uno de los restaurantes de nuestra lista top!! Felicidades!!!

Vraiment une très bonne adresse je vous conseille vivement d'y aller. Une équipe FORMIDABLE, un jeune patron de 31 ans qui aime son métier et qui est gentil comme tout. Les vins sont portugais et cependant très bons. De bon fromages et des viandes parfaitement cuites. Nous étions avec notre bébé et ils ont su être avenants et charmants.

Formule midi pour 9,50€ très intéressante: olives en entrée, salade fraîche+ viande ou poisson à faire chauffer soi-même + pommes de terre + verre de vin blanc très bon et café pour finir.
Le repas était très bon et les ingrédients sont frais. Super service!
Parfait pour une pause déjeuner avant de continuer la visite de Lisbonne.

The lunch menu was great and the service very friendly.
But be aware that the dessert costs extra and is pretty expensive compared to the price of the lunch menu.. 7€ for a small dessert is pretty overpriced. Other than that it was fine.

Excellente adresse trouvée à 2 pas du centre de Lisbonne un dimanche midi. La carte de grillades et de poissons frais donne envie de gouter tous les plats. L'accueil chaleureux des serveurs et le service du chef a été impeccable pour notre famille. Nous nous sommes régalés des belles assiettes gourmandes. Le rapport qualité prix est imbattable. This restaurant is nothing short of a scam and I HIGHLY advise people to stay as far as away from this place as possible.
I went there with my partner for a dinner date, the service was okay but they gave us the wrong food for one of the orders.
The food there was terrible, I mean really terrible, I order their winery Cod which turned out to be not cod but escolar and it gave me severe stomachache in the coming days, and it’s against EU laws to serve escolar as it is poisonous to humans.
We ordered “Iberian Ham with Mozzarella” and it turned out to be the cheapest Italian prosciutto with the cheapest supermarket Mozzarella.
None of the stuff even speaks Portuguese yet they market themselves as a Portuguese restaurant, the kitchen was astonishingly dirty as well.
I’ll consider reporting this restaurant to the relevant Portuguese authority for their concerning food qualities/hygiene conditions. This is definitely a tourist trap and must be avoided at ALL COST. It’s also insanely expensive, with price like this you can eat at places that are way better than this scam, go to Tapisco Taberna for example for some real tasty tapas instead. Don’t waste your time here.

Best tapas in Lisbon! The flavours were out of this world, definitely a must try! We had the salmon ceviche, beef carpaccio and lamb chops, all were perfect! Ambiance is nice too, and location is super accessible. We tried it because it was across from our airbnb. Will definitely be back next time we’re in Lisbon!

Had a nice meal here with my girlfriend. They have a good selection of plates, with quite generous portions on each. My highlights were the selection of sausages and the cheese with jalapeño relish. The jalapeño relish complemented the cheese very well. It also came with a few nuts and berries on the plate but I wasn't sure if they were strictly necessary or more for enhancing the presentation. The sausages were good, my favourite was the blood sausage that seemed to have a subtle cumin flavour to it. We weren't particularly blown away by the ceviche that was maybe a bit more subtly flavoured than we're used to. The ham and artichoke was also good but nothing special, despite being very well presented.

Service was good. But I have to be honest to tell that the food wasn't good. Plain flavor. I'm not sure the raw fish was fresh or not coz after 5 hours of having the meal we are still digisting the dinner...

This place is great. Food and service was really Good! Make sure to book a table through the fork as it might give you discount on the food. We had 40% off on the food. Very Affordable! We (3people) had 3 starters and shared an all in fondue for 2 and it was enough as it was leftovers. We also had a cheese platter ,wine ,beer and port wine. Paid 80 eur total, of which 20 was fine port wine. Highly recommend the salmon tartar and the cheese platter with moldy cheese. These dishes have us all the OMG feeling

Ótima opção na Baixa Lisboeta. Bem decorado, atendimento gentil e competente, boa comida e bom preço (pratos bem servidos). Experimentamos a muçarela de búfala, tomares e manjericão, boa entrada, bem servida para três pessoas, 8€. A vitela com farinheira, morcela, chouriço, batatas e salada, estava perfeita. Carne magra, macia e portuguesa. Serve duas pessoas (se não forem dois comilões), 14,50€. Os vinhos são próprios a bom preço. Há opções de peixe e harmonização de vinhos.

this place was amazing, it has been a long time since a restaurant really stood out, we had the cod fish for lunch and it was soft and fresh with a really nice sauce. The potatoes were really nice, and the salad great too. They have their own wine, which was also amazing. The service was outstanding. We had a chocolate brownie like desert with a caramel topping with red pepper corns, it was amazing. The interior is quiet and cozy with nice decorations. It is the first place I will go back to when I visit Lisboa again.

Our Favorit place in Lisbon... The food is soooo good we ate the veal fillets and the quality and the taste of the beef delicious you can cook it by your own... My parents had something with salmon and they still talk, about the good fish.... What's also really nice is that we tasted 3 different wines and than we can choose our wine.
Last but not least the dessert... It was heaven in a scrumpled apple cake.

Location accogliente, musica soft, personale attento e cordiale. Molto vario e originale il menù, accontenta tutti, chi ama la carne la potrà mangaire direttamente al a tavolo su una raclette, decidendo in autonomia la cottura desiderata. Ho molto apprezzato lo show cooking, con prodotti freschi e di qualità. Buonissimo il formaggio portoghese con fichi secchi noci e miele, ottimo hummus senz'aglio e favolose le patate arrosto. Le porzioni sono generose. Ho visto delle tartare di salmone davvero grandi. Buono il vino e anche il dolce. Caffè Nespresso. Conto adeguato alla proposta gastronomica.

If you're in a city for a couple of days and you eat in the same restaurant two times - it has to be really good. It was the case for us! The food was fresh and delicious, we drank the best sangria in Lissabon and enjoyed the wide offer of Portuguese tapas.

Absolutely wonderful place! Delicious fondue grelhado (pieces of veal you prepare yourself on a hot stone). Supernice waiters. Amazing wine. Mouth-watering desserts. Went twice, will surely come back. Very good offer till 3pm: starters, main dish, glass of wine and coffee for 9.50 eur.

This was a lovely experience. The waiters went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. The food was really tasty, the price point good, and the wine pairing was super affordable. The chef even came out and chatted with us during our meal, which was a really nice addition. There was a real sense of care here that we weren't expecting, but if we had more time in Lisbon we'd definitely go back!

Siamo capitati qua grazie all'offerta di The Fork dello sconto al 50% a pranzo e siamo rimasti oltremodo soddisfatti. Le cameriere sono state gentilissime e sempre disponibili. Il cibo non solo è ottimo ma le porzioni sono oltremodo abbondanti e anche senza lo sconto i prezzi sono praticamente stracciati (il piatto di vitello con salsicce affumicate a 14,5€ è fin troppo abbondante per una sola persona così come le lasagne vegetariane). Consigliatissimo.

Great service. Lunch special was great price. Less than 10 euro for each person including veal steak (very delicious with strong rosemary(I think) scent and the meat sauce was amazing), bread, olives, drinks, potatoes (with two different sauce) and salad And a drink.

The food at eating bear was delicious and really fresh - and really reasonably priced too! We had to wait a fair while to be served initially but the staff were very friendly and helpful, which more than made up for this wait. We definitely needed to book ahead, as the place is quite cosy and it was full by 19:30.

Stopped for a late afternoon snack. Incredible salmon ceviche and king crab stuffed pepper. Worth going out of your way for. I believe all wine made by restaurant. Was not bad. Service was pretty good. The food - which was very affordable - makes this place worth going out of your way for.

Trato poco profesional en ocasiones, la carne es cierto que está buena pero no es nada del otro mundo, carne a la piedra estándar. Algunos entrantes muy escasos y en general demasiado caro para lo que ofrece. El local muy bonito y bien decorado, y buena localización, eso sí

Extraordinaire! Les plats sont délicieux, la qualité des ingrédients est au top! En plus, accueil et conseil parfait. Tout le personnel est extrêmement gentil. Même les serveurs stagiaires étaient bien mieux que beaucoup de professionnels d’autres restaurants. Nous sommes enchantés de nous être retrouvés dans ce restaurant par hasard! Top top top!

Hemos vuelto a comer el pulpo, nos dijo que era muy bueno y que siempre se acaba, y ws verdad fuimos al medio día y comimos un menu de 10 por solo 9.50 €.

Wir hatten dort einen perfekten Abend. Zufällig haben wir alle eine Variante des Kalbsfilets bestellt und die Augen wurden erst mal groß als es hieß, dass wir uns das selbst am Tisch braten. Doch es war das perfekte Erlebnis! Wir haben gebraten, gelacht, genossen und weiter gebraten. Die Beilagen kamen ebenfalls in größeren Portionen zum selbst bedienen. Es schmeckte hervorragend. Dazu die Weinbegleitung mit sehr ausführlichen Informationen zu den einzelnen Weinen. Überhaupt perfekter Service.
Wenn noch mal Lissabon, dann auf jeden Fall noch mal "eating bear"!!!

If you want to drink, this might be a good place for you but if you want to eat, avoid this restaurant. The food was unbelievably bad. Peppers stuffed with crab were peppers with some disgusting paste decorated with roughly cut raw carrots and cucumbers as well as numerous croutons, avocado carpaccio was sour with vinegar. Veal steak was a thick piece of meat which you have to cook yourself.

Excellent wines and petiscos with an Asian twist, stuffed pepper with crab cheese was gorgeous. It's a nice place for something a bit modern and different in Lisbon. Only slightly disappointed with the couvert which is a bit ordinary for the money

Very nice restaurant/bistro specialising in wine made by the restaurant's winery with affordable tasting selections and generous pours. Octopus salad was delicious and the rest of the menu looked equally good. Mostly locals when we visited, great place to try!

Scoperto grazie a The fork, abbiamo trascorso una bellissima serata. Il gestore del ristorante è molto accogliente e cortese, consiglia abbinamenti di vino (loro produzione) e cibo. Piatti ottimi e abbondanti preparati con materie prime di qualità. Assolutamente da provare!

Il cibo non mi ha entusiasmata ma, probabilmente, ho fatto scelte poco felici perché, intorno a me ho visto piatti molto belli. La degustazione di vini dolci riserva è stata eccezionale: vini ottimi e ben presentati dal cameriere. Consiglio assolutamente la degustazione.

We had such a great experience here! The food was very delicious, olive oil and wine are from their own production were very good. The staff is really nice and friendly, give you advices and makes sure you feel good. I totally recommand and hope to come back another time!

Increíble atención por parte de todo el personal del restaurante, nos sentimos muy cuidados y muy bien atentidos. Fuimos a las 15:30 que no había casi gente y estuvimos como Reyes.
La comida muy buena, el vino excelente, luego nos tomamos un coctail de vino que hacen von gengibre que me gustó mucho y hay que destacar la impresionante tarta de chocolate que tienen, la mejor que hemos tomado en la vida y eso que hemos comido muchas. La buffala con tomate muy rica y la tarta de manzana también muy buena. La parrillada de carne merece la pena la verdad.
De precio pues con el tenedor sale muy bien y sin oferta de El Tenedor tampoco es que sea caro. Si vuelvo a Lisboa repetiré seguro.

Simply the best mid-priced restaurant we found in Lisbon. Thoroughly enjoyed the food, wine and service. Especially recommend humus, veal fondue (no cheese involved, just cook your own thinly slice veal) and chocolate cake.

Fantastic atmosphere, wine and service and delicious food. Can't wait to go back to this place. The atmosphere was perfect. The place felt cozy and lovely. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The wine really stood out - the restaurant after all has a vineyard, but wow, the wine flight was perfect, amazing value and matched to the food. Also, tried Portuguese craft beer and local gin. On and the food...we got fish starters, massive, high quality portions. We were so impressed by this place.

Good tapas, but expected it to be phenomenal based on the price and ambiance. Luckily the portions were generous and the staff was friendly and well meaning. The service was a little off, a lot of mistakes and awkwardness (not sure why we were served hot water, for example).

Delicious family-run restaurant serving fresh, from-scratch tapas with wine pairings from the family vineyard. (We ordered 4 tapas plus dessert and wine for 3 people and felt we ate very well for dinner.) We highly recommend the fresh ceviche, crispy arugula salads, and key lime-style citrus pie. The multilingual family are such welcoming hosts and happy to explain the traditional Portuguese foods. We had an incredible evening!

Deco très sympa. Accueil jeune et professionnel. Classe et décontracté.
Nourriture très bonne Et de qualité.
Nous n'avons pas goûté le vin qui est fait dans le domaine du gérant. Mais l huile d'olive maison est excellente et le wasabi maison aussi.
Nous sommes la pour le week end mais nous avons déjà prévu d'y retourner !!
