Très bon, et beau restaurant, super cadre avec sa licorne. Accueil très chaleureux, service parfait , nourriture excellente. C’était une petite pépite à côté de notre AirBnB, et une excellente surprise .

Excellent food, of course! I had the “arroz de lingueirão” and my wife “naco na pedra”. The attention from staff on every detail was amazing. The venue is contemporary and very well suited for either a romantic dinner or a hip night out with friends.

After all these reviews, I expected that they might not live up to the expectations. But boy, did they! This place has a bubbly vibe and nice waiters. They advised excellent on the wine. The platter to share was nice, but not the highlight. The two main courses that we shared (with the two of us) were excellent. The fish was perfectly done and with the pumpkin just delishious. The steak came on a stone and also here the condiments made it a wonderful fork of food. The desserts were finger licking, especially the mille feuille. Big recommendation.

Really great experience in this tiny restaurant. The food is delicately prepared, with original receipies and nutritious and fresh produce. The staff is really nice, the service is fast and the place is interestingly decorated! I highly recommend but also advise you to book in advance !

Essen macht glücklich.
Hier trifft es auf jeden Fall zu.
Es passt alles. Ambiente toll. Sehr nettes, freundliches Personal, lockere Atmosphäre und das Essen ist grandios. So etwas findet man in Deutschland nur in einem Sternerestaurant zu unerschwinglichen Preisen.

Jantar Top uma explosão de sabores uma surpresa para o palato. Atendimento irrepreensível. Quando se gosta e se têm paixão por aquilo que se faz o resultado só pode ser este. Parabéns adorei.

Very creative and excellent food, awesome ingredients, staff super friendly and efficient, and small wine list has Portuguese gems. Codfish tongue and squid ink appetizer was a treat. 2015 Touriga Nacional was awesome and only €35.

Отличное место для ужина. Обслуживание просто идеальное. Повар сам рассказывает тебе о блюдах. Хороший выбор португальских вин. Потрясающие закуски. Интересные как на вкус, так и на подачу. Стейк у моего мужа был идеальный, а вот я немного разочарована своим горячим. Я взяла мясо с креветками и ракушками. Оно оказалось только с креветками, и на вкус было не особо впечатляющим. Может мне просто не повезло. В любом случае я всё равно очень советую это место для посещения. Это современная Португальская кухня.

Petit Restaurant trouvé par hasard mais de grande qualité ! La décoration est soignée, le service parfait, les serveurs très gentils qui font l'effort de parler votre langue !
C'est une très jeune chef à la tête de la carte simple qui garantie la fraîcheur des plats ! On peut trouver les plats traditionnels portugais revisités et même les autres plats sont parfaits ! Nous sommes ravis ! Il fait partie de nos meilleurs restaurants faits car le rapport qualité prix est inégalable !

While the service is okay, the food is pretty much below the average and not really good. Pricing is slightly lower (mains from 10EUR, steak for 19EUR for lunch) than other places in touristy areas. There is a lovely unicorn as part of the décor.

Ristorante superlativo. Cucina portoghese raffinata con piatti di elevata qualità e bellissime le presentazioni. Il servizio è impeccabile ed i camerieri estremamente gentili. Abbiamo fatto personalmente i complimenti agli chef che nonostante la loro giovane età, sanno già preparare piatta di alta cucina. I prezzi sono nella media degli altri ristoranti dello stesso genere, ma il rapporto qualità prezzo è elevatissimo. Vedendo cosa prendevano i vicini di tavolo, abbiamo già pensato di riandarci domani sera per poter provare gli altri piatti. Consigliatissimo.

Dit restaurant is een absolute topper. Is een michelinster waardig. Voor geen geld (35€ : voorgerecht + hoofdgerecht met wijn + dessert) haute cuisine gerechten. Een geweldige aanrader !

A slightly upscale (without being pretentious) restaurant with a modern take on Portuguese cuisine. The space was renovated in a retro and tasteful way. The food was delicious, good portions and reasonable prices (at least at lunch time). And above all - how can you not enjoy a place called Optimist that features a unicorn on the wall?

5 stars for the food, 5 stars for decoration and atmospere and 5 stars for the service. The sea stew was very tasty and the vanilla mint ice cream had great flavour. Higly recommended. Will come again!

Um dos melhores "novos" restaurantes de Lisboa que irá merecer uma nova visita.
Pela positiva temos a destacar a comida saborosa que é oferecida com um destaque para os pickles de pimento que acompanhavam os nigiri de pato.
O menos bom neste caso muito específico é o pato no nigiri estava mais resistente ao dente do que o ideal e o valor monetário dos pratos é elevado.
A decoração é nova e atractiva e o atendimento muito personalizado.

Optimista was a highlight of our last trip to Lisbon. The food is inventive and full of flavour, and the wine was lovely. The deserts were a real surprise too. Lovely place all round, super helpful and efficient staff. Would definitely recommend!

Hier moet je gegeten hebben als je in lissabon verblijft! Top top voor weinig geld. Lijkt bijna niet te geloven al deze commentaren maar eten is origineel, combinatie smaken, kunstwerkjes op het bord. Dessert was subliem! En interieur.... ook origineel. Bediening ook top!!

Believe the hype - one of the best restaurants I have been to. Modern, interesting take on Portuguese cuisine. Excellent wine list. Decor is quirky yet chic and comfortable. Fantastic value, especially considering the high quality, plus the service is warm and accomodating. I might have to go back to Lisbon just to dine here again.

Basil ice cream was fantastic, and veal entree was superb! I’m quite the foodie, and the quality and creativity of each and every dish that I sampled that night was outstanding. 10/10 will be back!

Amazing time at Optimisma. If you love good tastes and a combination of ingredients you wont forget, then you cant go wrong. The owner, chef, and staff are all very attentive and courteous and show the outmost respect while maintaining a friendly fun environment. It is a very stimulating and provocative experience between each individual and the incredible plates put in front of them. Thank you for the experience and i cant wait until next time!
