This is a fine restaurant. This is my second visit in a week. It is a nice walk up or a streetcar ride. The decoration is tasteful. The food is carefully prepared and presented by friendly staff. The special dark dough for the pizzas is excellent. As so many places, here too a fine locale has much suffered from the fall-off in visits because of Corona. I vote with my feet and come again, and more again!

We had a wonderfull time in this lovely Italalian restaurant! The pizza with the healthy black vegetable dough was great! The smile and good advise of the staff made it an excellent experience! The live music just gave the night an extra nice touch! If you want a great night out with excellent food you should make a reservation in this great restaurant!

We had a lovely time, staff was super friendly. We asked for suggestions and they gave us some good advice. A place to be for Italian food lovers, but also for people who like healthy food. They offer pizza with vegetable dough. A must try!

Sehr schönes modernes Lokal. Der Service flott und zuvorkommend. Das Essen war sehr gut, auf einen minimalen Mangel wurde sofort und professionell reagiert. Sehr nette Besitzer!! An dem Abend war auch Livemusik.

À nouveau les avis étaient justifiés : très sympa, très bon (non il n'y a pas de surgelés, de toute façon la cuisine est grande ouverte) et même la présentation est soignée. Je conseille sans retenue !

Sehr leckeres Essen und freundliches Personal! Cooles Ambiente und auf jeden Fall einen Besuch abseits der Touristenlokale wert! Wir hatten Pizza und Panna Cotta. Die Pizza war kaum zu schaffen...

My family and I had an excellent time at Altar! The food there was great, with a special mention for their home-made deserts which were amazing! On top of that, the staff is extremely attentive and friendly. They really want customers to have the best experience in their restaurant. Finally, the place is very cozy with a modern and original design. I totally recommend this restaurant!

Really great find. Ate here on a dreary, wet Monday evening. Attentive staff, great food and good value. We had the Pork knuckle and it was amazing.

Fantastic meal here last night. Beautiful restaurant with such lovely and attentive staff. Just sad it was our last night on our 3 day Lisbon break. The shrimp and lemon risotto was the best risotto I’ve ever eaten. Thank you. If we come back to Lisbon we will definitely be back. Highly recommended

Que maravilha de pizza, numa massa de carvão vegetal que adiciona um sabor diferenciador e subtil. Muito bem recheada e saborosa. Na minha visita tinha música ao vivo, o que tornou ainda melhor este jantar.

Our evening at Altar was simply amazing... The staff puts the food and customer experience at the top of their priority list, and it definetly transpires! The food was very good, wine awesome and service impeccable. I would recommend to anyone.

Comida e atendimento sensacional. Recomendo muito.
Comemos um bacalhau, que estava muito bom mesmo, um dos melhores que já provei, e uma carne com molho mostarda que também estava ótima.
De sobremesa o Tiramisu é muito bom.

Restaurant pourtant très bien noté mais quelle déception, produits surgelés, pas besoin d'être critique culinaire pour s'en rendre compte. Steak cuit à l'huile soit disant cuisiné à la portugaise avec un oeuf cuit dans l'huile également. Accompagné de soit disant pommes de terre rôties, en réalité banales frites SURGELÉES. De plus un cheveu dans le risotto. Après c'est une pizzeria donc autant ne pas proposer autre chose si c'est pour nous faire manger cela... Nous avons mieux mangé ailleurs pour moins cher. Seul point positif un petit concert improvisé mais nous n'allons pas au restaurant pour cela.

Wir waren zu viert im Restaurant Altar. Es ist sehr modern eingerichtet, also eher nicht so gemütlich mit sehr hellem kaltem Licht und schlichten Tischen. Das Personal war freundlich und hat uns schnell bedient.
Die Pizza war mittelmäßig, vor allem der viele Käse hat uns gestört. Da man die Pizzaküche einsehen konnte, haben wir gesehen, dass fertig geriebener Käse zum Überbacken verwendet wurde. Wenn man drei viertel des Käses entfernt hat, war die Pizza ok. Der gemischte Salat war auch in Ordnung. Nichts besonderes allerdings. Wir würden nicht noch einmal kommen.

Eine Erfahrung wert, nicht nur das Essen war super, sondern auch das gesamte Ambiente lädt zum Verweilen ein. Das Personal ist freundlich und zuvorkommend. Es lohnt sich!!!

Comparável às pizzas de São Paulo no Brasil, pessoas amigáveis no trato com o cliente, excelentes pratos, apesar de ter provado somente as pizzas. Recomendo tranquilamente , aqueles que gostam de uma VERDADEIRA PIZZA .
Tem outra coisa , preços condizentes com o prato e bebidas , vale a visita , após ir ao Castelo de São Jorge.

Fica na Graça este ALTAR, é um restaurante que combina a cozinha portuguesa e italiana, para entrada uma Burrata e um pão de alho delicioso, depois vieram as pizzas, todas com uma massa como se quer "superfina" e onde destaco a de carvão vegetal com salame picante. A Focaccia de Bacalhau também estava muito boa, estaladiça e generosa!
Carta de vinhos e bebidas com boas escolhas. Fomos para as cervejas artesanais e as sugestões do gerente foram óptimas!
Atendimento com muita simpatia por todo o staff, que nos fizeram sentir em casa! A voltar!

Really tasty, interesting food! As vegetarians we found lots of good options. Very good service, we were treated like the only customers in there. Great live music and overall a wonderful atmosphere.

Das melhores pizzas que comi nos últimos tempos em Lisboa. Massa na espessura e cozedura certas, molho de tomate sem ser muito agressivo e queijo na quantidade certa. Os condimentos muito bem cozinhados, sem sombra de dúvida a regressar. O atendimento também é eficiente e com muita simpatia. Parabéns.
