My wife and I had been traveling Europe on our honeymoon and I made the Intercontinental Hotel Lisbon our last stop before returning to our home in America. I felt that we saved the best for last.
This was the second time I had stayed at this property and I chose to return to it on our honeymoon specifically because of the way I was treated on my last visit. While the first impression and overall appearance of the hotel was truly magnificent, what made this property really special was the staff. From Maria, the Head Concierge and her staff, to the front desk staff, to the waiters in Club Intercontinental, to the house keeping staff, everyone made every effort possible to make my bride and I feel most welcomed and a valued guest. The room we had was one of the best suites in which I have ever stayed.
As we departed, Maria, once again, hoped that I would return, soon. I have a feeling we will. I highly recommend this property.

Upon arrival staff was excellent. Rooms were clean and spacious. Front desk was knowledgeable and friendly. The staff in the pick up/drop off area were professional, friendly and helpful. Concierge saved the day with last minute dinner reservations and sightseeing tour. Overall a great experience. Breakfast buffet had a good variety of food but it took quite a long time for items ordered to be delivered.

Starting with Joa at the front desk, the very friendly professional and helpful young lady (that has been with the hotel for two years) in the Ambassador Lounge are an asset to your hotel team. From the parking attendant, to all the managers and staff were exceptional. I highly recommend you hotel to all my friends traveling to Lisbon. Everyone truly made us feel at home. Thanks for a wonderful 3 days.

I had a great stay in Lisbon. Due to my travel schedule, I had to leave a small luggage with the hotel days before checking in and it was not a problem. As a IHG member, I received vouchers for drinks which I enjoyed at the end of the night. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable. The view from the window was beautiful.

Very nice hotel and the staff are friendly, professional, and speak English just fine. We arrived late in the evening and the restaurant and bar we're closed. The room service menu did not appeal to us and was very expensive. Starts at €15 for basic pasta plus €5 room service fee and goes up from there.

Loved the service when coming in. I was welcomed with a cup of wine as well as greeting for being a spiral elite member. Staff was very nice throughout the whole process and due to not having my room ready they gave me a upgrade.

Intercontinental Lisbon lived up to all expectations as a classy place to stay. We stayed here for three nights prior to our Seabourn cruise. The rooms were first rate, the bedding was extremely comfortable and the bathroom terrific. A Nespresso machine in the room satisfied our morning caffeine needs.
While not located in the typical tourist areas, it was nonetheless in a very nice area and only a short and inexpensive Uber ride to any of the places we wanted to visit. In contrast, I strongly suspect those hotels located in the high traffic tourist areas might be quite noisy. I highly recommend this hotel to those visiting Lisbon.

This is a really lovely hotel. All the staff are very friendly and extremely helpful. The rooms are spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. Breakfast is very nice, could do with a bigger selection of fruit. The only downside to this hotel is the location, which is on the outskirts of the city. However, it overlooks a beautiful park and the city. The city centre is only a five minute taxi away, and taxis are very cheap, only 4-5€. Overall a fantastic hotel and would definitely return.

Amazing hotel with beautiful design and stunning views of Lisbon. Don’t forget to have a cocktail at the Lounge. The head bartender will surprise you with an amazing drink if you want to be adventurous.

To whom it may concern,
I recently stayed at this property, which has a fine location and the check inn process was really smooth room was clean and tidy and service was fine, on the down side when I noticed during day hours there was some kind of construction in the hotel which was really inconvenient and disturbing for me and my wife’s honeymoon stay. I think there should have been a prior mention of this kind of issue before the stay or a reduction of the cost. I am usually impressed with your service but this time it was disappointing.

Coming to Lisbon for leisure, staff are friendly and made you feel welcomed. Hotel is modern, room very comfortable, highly recommend if you don't mind to be away from the busy city center.
I prefer toe quiet and peace when you are back in the hotel.

Very modern hotel, but there is some construction going on so beware. It did not affect us. We were here because it came with our cruise. We arrived at 10 a.m. but they would not give us a room until 3 p.m. The rooms are nice but I hate the "European" shower that doesn't have a full curtain or door. The hotel is not as well as located as the Tivoli, where we also stayed. I'd recommend the Tivoli. The breakfast buffet at the Intercontinental wasn't that good. The scrambled eggs were terrible.

O Hotel é muito bom, tem uma ótima e simpática equipe, e roupa de cama e banho ótimo.
Mas o café da manhã, impessoal e com opções muito básicas como exemplo de Iogurtes simplórios, frutas quase verdes e o café quase sempre frio e mal feito ( queimado).Sugiro também, que; os sumos, frutas e queijos sejam expostos com algum tipo de cobertura, alem de mais higiênico evita pouso de insetos ( havia uma mosca no sumo de laranja)

I am a platinum elite member at IHG, and used points cash to book my 2 days stay at Intercontinenal Lisbon. They offered me complimentary breakfast upon arrival given they cannot offer me any type of room upgrade.
However, they charged on my card without letting me know when I was at the hotel. I only later find out on my card balance. I called both IHG and the hotel, neither party was able to give me a solution yet the hotel promised to contact me via phone but I never received any call/message.

This Intercontinental Lisbon do not follow the standard as the other ones in the world regarding the breakfast. The hot meal for breakfast was horrible quality. How can you serve this kind of mooshie liquid eggs for breakfast and such kind of disgusting industrial cheap sausages??? And the price for such a small so called upgrade room is way to expensive for what it offers. The quality didnt match the overpriced of this hotel. The rooms are so small for the price. And the breakfast is a shame regarding what they do in other Intercon in the world. I do not recommend anyone to go. You will get same or much better in other cheaper hotels in Lisboa.

The location of the hotel is envious: a few minutes walk from the beautiful Avenida da Liberdade , easy and short driving distance from the airport.
Short distance to the city tour-buses
The staff are exceptionally professional; the bar is very good, and the rooms are quite comfortable.
We will send our best recomendation to the staff in the lounge, specially mention to Filipa , Ana and Diego . The hotel can be proude of the performence.

The location of the hotel is envious: a few minutes walk from the beautiful Avenida da Liberdade and from the Amoreiras Shopping Centre, it's less than a 5€ taxi ride to anywhere in the core of the city.
The staff are exceptionally professional; the restaurant is very good, and the rooms are quite comfortable. Some issues getting the room temperature to my liking, but eventually managed to find the way...
Amenities are basic, and hair-dryer is barely more than a light breeze. For my fellow female travellers, bring your own hair-dryer!

The Intercontinental is a nicely renovated property in a pretty area across from a large park. There isn’t all that much else around other than the park, though. Service sets this hotel apart and our experience of the staff at the desk, the concierge, the lounge were all very positive. Our room was large by European standards, well equipped and comfortable. Bath was large, well appointed with nice amenities.
Club loung has a lovely evening canapés and wine service and breakfast was more than ample as well. There’s a machine for specialty coffees and really good pastels do nata - the delightful traditional egg custard tarts from Lisbon, as well as the usual offerings for breakfast. Service hours are unusually generous.

First time here, so far no way close to what would be expected from an Intecon standard. Room cleanliness when we checked in was horrific. A candy wrapper on the carpet, lipstick marks on the water glasses, coffee cup barely flushed from the previous use, and disgustingly stained bed sheets. I have a minimum level of expectation from a 5* property So far the only positive is the bellman who was very curtious and apologetic for what we experienced... Very likely last time at this property.
Update: the following days of my stay were generally good. Service was good and the team at the Intercon club were great.

Location is the key, it is so near to so many good places that you can just walk down. Even the boarding place for tourist vehicles is 5 mins walk from the hotel. Enough food options around the place in vicinity of 15 mins walk.
About the hotel now, staff is excellently helpful and concierge service helps you plan your stay in Lisbon with visiting plans, they even help in bookings so it's excellent that way also owing to their local expertise. Rooms are comfortable and services are great. Buffet spread is decent enough.

Sad to be leaving the Intercontinental Lisbon after a 3 night stay. The service provided by the Club Intercontinental team has been exceptional. I cannot rate this hotel highly enough. Until Lisbon, Club Intercontinental Athens was my favourite. The consistency of great service and facilities across the Intercontinental portfolio is outstanding.

I was surprised I didn't love it. The rooms all have half a window, makes them dark. The bar wasn't amazing. There's renovations going on, but I was prewarned. I used to love the Ritz, then it became 4-seasons, the Interconti didn't stack up. I'd stay closer to the old City on my return.

We participated in the Club at Lisbon and were impressed with the assistance, advice and service we received.Roderigo, the manager was of great assistance in providing advice and the club food was quite good. Anna, Jaime and the others were cosistently pleasant and helpful. The room was the most comfortable that I have experienced. Overall a very satisfactory experience.
The Hotel was un an elevated portion of Lisbon with excellent city views and was lcoated witheasy access to the Metro and permitted long healthy wlks to the vaious city neighborhoods.

Rubbish service. I was in a hurry to make it to a flight this morning and the bell boy could not locate my car key. Took ages to locate it. No help with luggage to get it packed to the trunk.
Orange juice at breakfast straight from the box! Get a real orange juice machine and do it yourself!
Poor location of shower controler in the bathroom. Once you renovate all the rooms you could get it done the right way.

Classic business hotel situated up the hill in Lisbon. Stay on the club floor to get access to the club lounge which has an extensive breakfast menu including dishes cooked to order. Only shame is the lounge is on the ground floor with no windows. The main bar has a happy hour each evening with 25% off the regular prices. All the staff are very welcoming.

Having visited the property approx 6 times since my first visit a few months ago, it is clear that this is a property that I will keep visiting and recommend.
Staff, as in most IHG properties, are very polite, attentive and always offer a personal touch with simple gestures like remembering your name, favorite suites, etc.
The rooms are quite spacious and usually with great views. It’s a pity the exec lounge doesn’t boast a similar nice view. There was some minor renovation disturbance a few months ago but that seems to be over now.
Also a great location.

We were only in Lisbon for two days for a quick shopping and sightseeing trip, so we stayed at this property for one night. Everything was excellent. It was a well run hotel. The property itself was very nice, and the rooms and lobby area were new and clean. We had several requests for the hotel staff and everything was done extremely quickly. The staff was friendly and we didn't have any complaints about our stay. It's a little far to walk back and forth from the main part of the town center. We walked into town and then took a taxi back at then end of the day, and that worked well for us. From what I can tell, it's the best hotel in the area, so we would recommend it for anyone coming to Lisbon. Five stars!

We had a wonderful stay at the Intercontinental Lisbon. We arrived late after traveling from the US and we were greeted immediately. They were expecting us and it was a quick and easy check in. Location is great! We loved exploring the park across the street! The rooms were beautiful and comfortable and the breakfast was top notch. The view from our room was amazing! The staff was amazing, professional and friendly. Personally, I loved relaxing in the gorgeous lobby, which had beautiful fresh flowers daily and an afternoon pianist who performed. I we had a wonderful stay and I can’t wait to go back!

My husband, myself and our Pug dog were guests of the Intercontinental Lisbon. This stay was amidst the early escalation of Covid—19 - a time when most hotels, restaurants and shops had closed; hence we found ourselves heavily reliant on - and in the position to view our stay critically. We could not have been more satisfied nor impressed by the entire staff: from the front desk/reception to the meticulous and kind cleaning staff, to the refinements is both the in-room dining chefs and service staff. 10/10.
The hotel represented an oasis of tranquility, quality and exceptional hospitality against the unprecedented backdrop of global pandemonium. Moreover, the location along the stunning Central Park, around which we walked daily, gave us an even greater appreciation of Lisbon. It was our second stay in Lisbon but will most certainly be the only accommodation we will consider Igor our future travel.

The hotel is modern, well located, my room on the 16 Floor was very comfortable with a nice view. I love the bathrooms and complimentary toiletry products. The customer service by all members of staff I interacted with was excellent. They were all willing to assist in any way they could. Very warm and pleasant people. I recommend you make a booking with access to the Lounge as their breakfast, tea and tapas is worth experiencing. No complaints. Will definitely stay at this hotel again.

I selected the Hotel based on a recent stay in New York hotel Barclay and was very happy with the whole experience , i was upgraded with my Ambassador membership from a club room to a junior suite. the room was fantastic , the mini bar is expensive but with use of the lounge more than made up for it.
I had 3 rooms booked for my family on the 18th Floor , all the rooms were fantastic and had been newly refurbished. the breakfast was very good and lots of options , latte coffee highly recommended. the AKLA restaurant was excellent for dinner. will return after all this COVID 19 is finished.

It was a good stay overall. However, I did not get a higher floor room with a good view as requested. The view was just ok City view and blocked most of better part by another hotel building. That was a disappointment.
The real upsetting experience was at Check-out. The lady who helped me to check-out was not professional at all. First, she kept saying that I got the free upgrade, even though I did not. I just got the room that I booked and paid for. There was no free upgrade for me at all, which was another disappointment, since I am the Platinum member after all. And she couldn't even give me the right receipt. When I asked her to give me a right receipt, she argued with me and insisted that she did give me the right receipt, instead of checking her work. That was very bad attitude. I asked her to check the receipt that she kept and she finally realized her mistake. My uber was waiting outside that I was in hurry, but her unprofessional attitude delayed my departure.
As I was walking out after receiving the right receipt, she said something in her language and I felt like she was cursing me. It was very upsetting and annoying experience that I did not want to go back to InterContinental at Lisbon, even after having a good experience with the gentleman at the front desk during the Check-in and a good food at their restaurant.
InterContinental at Lisbon should train their staff properly that they all should be more professional. She definitely needs more training for doing her job properly and in professional way. If she actually said something bad to me with her language behind my back, she should not work in anywhere. That is very terrible thing to do in that profession or any other job.
So terrible experience on the last day at Lisbon!

We had our divisional sales meeting at the hotel with visitors from 6 countries. This occurred just at the beginning of the of the Covind-19 epidemic. All meetings were held in the hotel and the meeting facilities were excellent as well as the food service. This allowed us to minimize contact which was the prudent course of action.

I loved the service as always. Everyone is super professional and willing to be of service in any way. Very welcoming and willing to make the effort to make things possible. I especially want to point out the Front Desk team for all playing a role in making my stay exactly how I requested it to be. I can't describe how much I appreciate this level of service.
The ambient smell of jasmine throughout the hotels is one of many things that keeps me reminiscing and looking forward to my next visit. It really gives a calm feeling.

This is one of the finest hotels in all of Europe. It opens right onto Edward VII Park, offering spectacular views of the city. The hotel is located just a few minutes walk from Marques de Pombal, making Ave da Liberdade and all of its wonderful historic sites and restaurants easily accessible by walking or by taking the subway. The hotel itself is well-appointed, combining old world grandeur with all the modern amenities as well as a fabulous restaurant (with an excellent wine list). Management and staff were professional and extremely courteous and spoke impeccable English as well as multiple languages. Cannot recommend this hotel more highly.

I arrived at the hotel early afternoon and was very warmly greeted. At check in I met the guest service manager who advised me that he had advice from another IC of my arrival. I was very happy with the wonderful upgrade I received wonderful views and a great size suite. It was a wonderful surprise. The welcome amenity was personally prepared and tailored for me. This preparation and care taken was so impressive. The club lounge staff were very helpful and extremely pleasant to deal with. I needed some assistance from the concierge and she was wonderful. This was for me a perfect stay and I can not recommend this property high enough. The staff really care and it shows they take pride in their work and it really shows. I look forward to my return.

The Lison Intercontinaental Hotel is good. Beside some needed refurbishment in the room and the usual hotel noise my stay was ok. It is more important to see the city than the Hotel.
Connetion to Public transport is only 200mtr away.

Visible from many parts of downtown Lisbon, the hotel itself offers great views from its elevated position. Recent refurbishment, cosy restaurants and a funky bar make it an excellent experience. Also the nicely designed rooms with elegant, modern finishings, good noise insulation and comfy beds make it the perfect retreat after a busy day exploring Lisbon. There are some good restaurant options nearby, but also the in-house options were very good.
The location is convenient enough, although not in the heart of the historic city. Being good on foot, we walked everything. To the historic center it is about a 20 min walk.
As this trip was a present for my sister's birthday, guests relation manager Catarina arranged a nice welcome amenity on the room, thank you so much!

Great short stay in Lisbon, staff were extremely attentive, hotel very clean, food very good, English speaking very good. We unfortunately were sick within 2 hours of arriving, staff could not help us enough, checked on us, brought extra water, made apple sauce especially, brought bananas. Nothing was too much trouble. When we left we wanted a tour of keys I. And a driver for our journey to Cascais, the concierge got us a great deal with a very good company, that experience was amazing and the concierge got us just what we needed. Would definitely return to this hotel.

This was my fourth visit to IHG Lisbon and each time the experience had been excellent. The staff is always friendly and professional. This is the only choice for a business stay in Lisbon. Another job well done IHG Lisbon.

We've just had four nights in Lisbon, and found the Intercontinental hotel to work brilliantly for our needs. The staff were friendly, breakfasts fantastic, and a quality bar with great cocktails. Some good tips on our first day from the Concierge were very useful.
After the hustle and bustle of a day touring beautiful Lisbon, the Hotel is a great Sanctuary to retreat back into. The final climb back to the hotel from the Metro station didn't get easier, but it was short, and we found the 72hr Lisbon Pass was a great way to get around on the Trams, Metro, Trains

Great place to stay, every staff member was very friendly and the room was always cleaned. Stayed here for 8 days and did not have a single issue. That’s hard to say anywhere you stay.
Would definitely stay here next time we go to Lisbon.

ポルトから電車で移動したため、駅からホテルまで歩きました。
ずっと急な登り坂でホテルに着いた時は汗だく。フロントの方が気を利かせてお水をくださいました。
部屋もとてもきれいで、スタッフは全員親切でした。
朝食もとても美味しく、もう一泊したかったです。
空港までは15分ほどでuberで安く早く行けました。
街までは距離はあるものの、バスを使いこなせれば便利です。
部屋から見えるリスボンの街並みがとてもきれいでした。また泊まりたいです。

We had a great stay at the IC in Lisbon. the staff were all extremely helpful and hospitable. The room had a great view. The property was clean and well-maintained. There are two metro stations within about a 10 minute walk. Staff was great acknowledging me and my wife's anniversary.
There aren't really any cons, but there are some things to be aware of that aren't entirely positive. First, there is no outside sitting area. It would have been nice to sit outside in the evening and enjoy a cigar and drink but that wasn't an option. Secondly, the hotel is not really near the main tourist areas. It is easy to get to them via the metro, but the hotel is away from the main tourist drags (which could be a major positive for some people).
Overall, this hotel is strongly recommended.

On my most recent business trip to Lisbon my stay in the Intercontinental was as pleasurable as ever. But on checkout the lady at reception visually recognized me as a returning guest, having served me on an earlier trip, and she gave me one of the most memorable guest experiences. Unfortunately I do not know her name, but it made my day and my whole trip!

Hotel was wonderful and service from the staff is the best i have experienced. They cater to your every need. The hotel's location is very good and we walked everywhere. We reserved a hotel room with access to the Club Lounge which was a highlight for us.

A special mention to Laura at reception who recognised me as a gold member and upgraded me to an executive room. This was a pleasant surprise.
Everywhere is super clean and the food is delicious. The bed is very comfortable and my room was in a quiet location so that I slept really well. The bathroom was a good size but with two sinks there wasn’t enough room to lay out my cosmetics or toiletries.
The lobby looks very luxurious and they have a piano player during the afternoon which is very relaxing except I felt it was too cold to hang around and spend much time.
I really enjoyed staying here and would come back the next time I was ever in Lisbon.

Beautiful hotel and great customer service. However, the value for money could be better. I've stayed in nicer hotel rooms for less. Also, I'm not sure I would have been given free wifi without my Sister's IHG member ID number. Yet, I paid full price so I feel I should have access even if I'm not a member. Automatic checkout would have been nice; or ability to check out via television hotel channel would have been nice. It did set me back 5 minutes while taxi was waiting. Staff was great and I did enjoy my stay. Great night's sleep!

Der sehr gute Service an der Rezeption, im Frühstücksrestaurant , und sehr hervorzuheben im Akla . Die Zimmer sind sehr gut ausgestattet. Das Bett ist sehr bequem. Ein defekt im Bad wurde ohne unser Aufforderung behoben . Die Aufmerksamkeiten auf dem Zimmer haben uns erfreut . Wir werden die Hotelkette InterContinental in Zukunft öfter wählen , wenn möglich. Wir hatten eine sehr entspannte Zeit bei unserem Stopover aus Südamerika kommend in diesem Hotel .

Nice hotel, good staffs.
The place is nearby city center, quiete so if you are traveller for business, its a very good choice. But it seem not safe in the night for walk out because there are not many people in the night here. Good place to park your car. They have small ground before the hotel to park car.
The room is clean but a little small.

We spent 3 nights here on a visit to Lisbon.
As we have come to expect from the IHG brand, everything was seamless and hassle-free, from the booking procedure, to the check-in, to the actual stay itself.
The staff are courteous and very helpful, the rooms are very clean and well-maintained, and the restaurant service and meals were very good.
The concierge is also most knowledgeable and helpful.
I would recommend this hotel for anyone wishing to visit Lisbon, the location is great, opposite a beautiful park, yet within walking distance of the main city centre and also very close to the hop-on hop-off bus service.

All was perfect and well above average.
Simply one of the best stays I’ve had at the IHG group and in general.
Staff was professional, attentive and kind anticipating all my possible needs.
Room was amazing. Probably the best I’ve stayed in a City type hotel.
Bathroom one-off the most beautiful and well designed I’ve been w total intuitive shower and other equipments.
Room service was punctual yo the minute, quite impressive!
It will be hard to beat this stay in the future.

We visited late December. The intercontinental staff was fabulous and the property a nice value. We like the staff and property much better than property in Vienna.
City is a great place - a ton of history, great food and great people.

I might be biased but I like IC Lisbon. Great staff and service, nicely located and great value for money. Rooms are of adequate size and completely renovated (finally). Although I didn’t have access to the club lounge for breakfast this year, the standard breakfast lounge offers the same quality food. We usually stay at IC Lisbon couple of times a year and I love the consistency in service and quality you get. This time we had a room upgrade with a balcony, it was really cool with amazing views of the city and a nice retreat after a long day. Exceptional on a sunny day while you have your morning coffee.
Everyone at the hotel went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. Thank you

Nice hotel, a bit outdated in terms of age of hotel. A little farther from the city center, but an Uber would be anywhere from $3-$6 euro depending on type of day. So if you prefer to stay in a quieter area this is a good place to go to. Gym could have been better. Breakfast isn’t bad if you pay for the prepay price. Mix of American/Portugal breakfast. Employees were helpful if you ever needed anything

The service and staff were excellent, from the moment we walked in the door. The concierge was very knowledgeable and helpful to give us recommendations on restaurants and getting around. The InterContinental is centrally located and is one of the taller buildings in Lisbon. We stayed in December and we were across the street from Eduardo VII park, which was the grounds for the Lisbon Wonderland for Christmas. Our room was quiet and we had an amazing view of the lights.
They cater for all the home comforts, from a pillow menu to award winning food in the restaurant.

Excellent room preparation with additional complimentary bed for my daughter while i could sleep on the king-sized bed with my son. The room is new after renovation. Restaurant staff was also very professional and patient serving late dinner. Overall hotel condition is well maintained with friendly staff.
Only the front desk staff not too nice when I requested for small change. No complain at all other than this.

Visited Lisbon for our 50th wedding anniversary and a birthday. Mentioned this to a manager at the hotel before arrival. When we arrived the team were most welcoming and looked after us very well during our 5 days stay. We were upgraded, and there was a most delicious cake and champagne waiting in the room! Much appreciated.
Best stay we had at any hotel. Will certainly stay at this hotel during future visits.

The whole weekend was a delight, and service, food, staff attitude, room comfort, Club Lounge service and content all leave a strong, positive impression of how a hotel should operate. The location is pretty central and near to the Metro and a pleasant park. We felt genuinely welcomed by the Club Lounge team over three days, and felt it to be a valuable part of our stay. It’s highly unusual to be able to give such even high scores across a hotel stay...often something lets down an experience...not this time though, thanks !

This hotel was really amazing. The staff could not have been any nicer or more helpful with everything. They gave me early check in which was wonderful since we were jet lagged from coming from Miami. They have a pillow menu in the room which is a bonus because if I dont have a good pillow i cant sleep well. The mattress was also very comfy and again I usually am not happy with most hotel beds.The breakfast buffet had anything and everything ypu could want and again the service was lovely. When we came back late and needed bottles of water before we headed to our room the concierge just handed us some water bottles for free. I liked the personalized greeting on the room TV that said welcome to me. We stayed there fro a short weekend so i didnt try the gym so I cant comment on that.

Staff made us feel at home. It’s located fairly close to all the sights we wanted to see. Concierge was very helpful in getting us oriented.
We had dinner in the hotel one evening, our server Carla was friendly and knowledgeable.
Overall, we had a great stay here and recommend this hotel.

I didn't book the room there but my company rent conference room. We ordered additional services from time to time, for example, fruits, cookies, to make the temperature higher,etc and the reaction was very slow. Other thing is the size of the portion... We ordered cookies for 3 people for 21€ , and received just 2 rows of tiny thin cookies. One big advantage is the polite manager Lorenzo whom we contacted regarding invoices via email, he was very helpful.

Martin, Joel and the management team have taken the service to a very high standard that unfortunately has now become our expectation for when we visit other IC properties.

Best beds in Lisbon. Staff are great. Can be expensive depending on the day but one of the best hotels in Lisbon despite the slight out of the way location from the tourist sights but Uber is cheap. There's a small gym and a bar and restaurant. It's frequented by important guests and politicians. The general manager is very helpful. Kitchen can be hit or miss on room service.

This hotel is more expensive than similar quality hotels especially given the location, however it's a close walk to El Cortes Ingles. The beds are the best in Lisbon as are the pillows. Room service food quality is horrific. Mini bar prices are outrageous, 10 euros for a pack of Pringles. There is a gym but no other facilities worth mentioning. Staff are lovely but often not empowered to make decisions. Rooms are quiet and curtains block out most of the light. There are three types of renovated bathrooms, so ask which type you have. TV has a limited selection of English language channels. Housekeeping is excellent. If you're in Lisbon for business or need a really high quality sleep I recommend this hotel.

This hotel is well located along a major thoroughfare and is easy to access major attractions in Lisbon from here by taxi or Uber. The concierge staff was fantastic. We used them to set up tours, find restaurants, etc. and they did not disappoint. The staff handling breakfast was also very good considering how crowded it was every morning.

Not bad, but if you expected top quality, you would be disappointed. The room didnt have enough space on the left of the bed for a night stand, and when I asked them to rig up something for my phone they didnt do anything.The bathroom is small, and the vanity had two, count them, two sinks that didnt leave room for even one toiletry kit.The water was not warm enough for someone who likes hot shave.Otherwise, it was fine

My wife and I spent two very enjoyable nights at this beautiful hotel located in a prime location in Lisbon. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The bar and restaurants are well staffed with friendly and competent waiters who all spoke English very well. I was particularly pleased with João Rocha from guest relations, who accommodated my request for an early check-in. We had taken an overnight flight from the US and arrived a couple hours before normal check-in. We were very tired and he was able to get us checked in early to get a little rest before exploring the area. Once rested, we found that much of Lisbon was reachable on foot or a short cab ride away.

Great property in a great location. We were able to walk to the ocean and other attractions. The Metro was only a few blocks away for getting to and fron the airport . The hotel staff were extremely professional , especially the valet guys out front. They were especially helpful with directions and restaurant suggestions.

The hotel on its own is great but the people make it a five-star experience. I stayed in many hotels in my life but the people in this hotel were amongst the best I ever experienced. We felt genuinely welcomed.

On a check-out day, they turned down my late check-out request even thought 4pm late check out is a guranteed benefit for Ambasaddor members. They said "you are only spire member so 2 P.M. is the best we can do".
Also, there was no meal voucher and drinck voucher the ambasaddor member is suposed to receive.
I claimed and eventually got late check-out but there was still no vouchers or anything.
I have stayed in nearly 30 different InterContinental Hotels but this hotel is the worst in terms of membership recognition.
I claimed this matter with IHG customer support but they have not replied at all.

The parking garage to small, very difficult to park. must use the concierge to park they are very nice people and all ways ready for help ( the best people in the world ) do not hesitate to ask for help.

Great stay. We booked a standard King room and got one with a great view of the city. The hotel is all that you would expect from an InterContinental.
Hotel is a bit outside the prime tourist area. It's only a 8 minute walk to the metro station. Pleasant walk (at least down hill) since you can walk through Eduardo VII park.

Therefore, after shower, lavatory area was like a pool.
Front desk girl does not understand quick English speaking, result in my spoilt time.
Facility is good. Well sleep in bed.

The hotel represents one of the best places to stay in Lisbon for comfort and convenience. When I stayed the staff were very helpful, as my original room overlooked a park that had a loud concert scheduled till early the next morning, but I was moved to a quieter room without any hassle.

Look no further. Location is on point. Friendly and very helpful staff. Got upgraded upon arrival. Nice rooms, bar and lobby area. Great for young professionals, couples and folks travelling alone. Coming from Paris tiny 250sf room at a 5 star hotel, we were so happy to stay at Intercontinental Lisbon 3 nights. We had a comfortable king bed with an updated standing shower in a 350-390sf room, nice bedsheet. The room rate was a bit high compared to the living standard in Lisbon. Breakfast included in our room rate and it’s worth it. Good breakfast selections: yogurt, pastries were ok, smoked salmon, tuna, salad bar, fruits...I liked their fresh squeezed juices. The breakfast staff was very gracious. They offered poached egg and omelet without charging additional fee. They even asked each table if we needed anything before closing the breakfast. Awesome customer service from doormen to concierge to breakfast staff. our hotel is about 10 minutes from the city and restaurants Cons: breakfast room view was the roof and Four Season building. No pool or sauna. Luckily we asked Concierge to recommend a nice raw white sand beach 20 minutes away. I wish concierge recommended street food restaurants instead of just high end restaurants.

La única pega es que hay que tener cuidado con los cargos en la tarjeta. Su banco tiene la "torpeza" de repetir movimientos con sus consiguientes comisiones. En mi caso para una factura de 103€ me hicieron dos cargos de 50€ (uno al llegar y otro a los tres días, con sendas comisiones) y otro de 3€
mas luego una devolución de 50€ y otro cargo de 103€ (con su correspondiente comisión). posteriormente me hacen otra devolución de 50€ y a 2 de septiembre aun faltan 3€

This hotel is located across a big park - Parqué Eduardo. It is a quiet and very safe neighbourhood and is great for a stroll after a heavy evening meal. This is one of the biggest hotels in Lisbon.
As I have booked the Club room (on the 9th floor), I had breakfast and evening snack/wine at the Club Lounge on the first floor. The menu for both has been extensive for all the 5 days, and is probably the best I’ve had in any Ihg Club Lounges. Staff service in the hotel has been excellent as well.
Even though the hotel is not in a downtown area, it is easy to walk downhill to town, and to come back to the hotel by taxi. Taxi charge is very cheap in Lisbon - cost about 4 euros.
There was a little bit of renovation noise in some afternoons between 1-5 pm.
The shower works really well - easy to operate and the water pressure is excellent. The bathroom door stopper (near the toilet) on the floor is located in a bad position - it hurts the toe when one kicks it accidentally.

They went beyond expectations to accommodate us in a temporary room while our room was being clean, because we arrived earlier than check-in time, after a 16 hours flight from South Korea. I travelled with my husband and 9yo son to Lisbon, and we enjoyed our stay at the Intercontinental Lisbon. The hotel itself was maintained to a high standard and our twin park view room was clean, spacious and relaxing. There isn't much around the hotel itself, but was approx 30mins walk to the downtown area and thank goodness it was all down hill or a 10min uber ride!!
We booked breakfast at the hotel, it was basic and would've preferred more options comparing with the Intercontinental hotels in Asia where you had ample options - I guess you cater for the market!
Overall we had a brillant time in Lisbon, and would recommend the hotel to family and friends!

My wife and I stayed in Lisbon for the first part of a short, European getaway. This hotel is top notch, across the board. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, attentive and discreet. I travel quite a bit for work, and I would put this hotel in my all-time top five. It frankly made Lisbon more special. I can't thank the staff enough for their efforts to make our visit spectacular. We're talking of heading back for an anniversary in the next few years. If you go - take advantage of the Intercontinental Club!

The hotel is great, top quality in terms of premises, room, facilities, breakfast. Also the staff was great, this time, regrettably, with two exceptions. First the access to the lounge was to my surprise not given by the reception welcoming staff (unless we would pay Euro 150 for a one-time visit as we were only in the hotel for 9 hours!), even though this was promised in advance. Second, the rim of the right front wheel of the car was scratched by the pavement edge when the car was returned to us the next morning by valet parking.

Friendly and extremely helpful staff made our short stay a memorable one. We always feel that we are treated so well at Intercontinental. We have stayed a number of times in Intercontinental Malta and needless to say Intercontinental Lisbon upheld the standard. The last time I stayed at the Intercontinental Hotel Lisbon I was disappointed with the overall level of service. I thought there was a general level of disinterest and an off-hand approach to customers.
What a turnaround. From my arrival until departure I was treated very well and was made to feel welcome by all the staff in the hotel.
The highlight for me was breakfast. The quality and selection of food was excellent and the service was outstanding.

Traditional Charm and Authentic Hospitality - The Intercontinental Hotel in Lisbon is one of our favorite places to stay. Their club lounge off the lobby is amazing - serving a fabulous breakfast in the morning and drinks and nibbles in the evening. There is also a nice restaurant called Akla in the hotel. The location is a bit of a nuisance. It’s rather high on the hill with a bit of a walk downhill to Praça do Comércio. On the other hand, we love to walk and it’s a quick Uber ride back to the hotel. The service is also stellar from the doorman, to reception, to the concierge, to housekeeping.

Check in was fast. We were able to check in 11.30 am. It was fantastic. I was also impressed by the interior of the lobby. Then we went to our room it was perfectly clean with complete items in the bathroom. The towels are big. The room is spacious. Breakfast is great. We loved that they always inspect the buffet if there is something needed to be refilled like bread or butter or bacon. Great service too. The restaurant Akla is also great. Top service, great food, atmosphere is great. That is why we ate there 3 times. Its worth it. All personnel are very friendly and accommodating. They are very helpful with out trips and suggested where we should visit. It was very nice.

This was a good stay overall. The hotel certainly contributed to the wonderful stay we had in Portugal. Aside from the difficult check in experience, which was resolved by the manager, the staff are extremely polite and friendly. The room was in immaculate condition and the house keeping was great. The hotel is near the city centre, which makes it very convenient, especially if there is a desire to go on the tour buses. I will certainly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a nice stay in Portugal.

I had left a pair of headphones, shoes and 3 hats in the room by accident. I went back later that day expecting to get my stuff back, but they said the report said that nothing was left behind. I am extremely disappointed in this service, as I thought this hotel would be trustworthy. I do not reccomend this hotel if you want your stuff to be safe.

This might be one of the only overall dissatisfied reviews - but not due to a single incident - just overall underwhelmed. Might have been a one-off experience, though, so I don’t intend this to take away from all the positive reviews.
Recently stayed at this hotel and found it to be ok, but nowhere close to other fine intercontinental hotel properties.
Check-in service was good, but there was no welcome amenity offered as a rewards club member.
Service was completely lacklustre. Food was downright overpriced for its poor quality. We fed this back on our second meal, and ate at the hotel twice after this, with no change. This indicated to us that our poor experience was unlikely to be a one-off. The bed and pillows were uncomfortable. The only redeeming feature was the bathroom, which was well appointed, but had a horrible smell from the shower drain!
Again - Might be we were just unlucky with our stay, but unlikely to ever pick this hotel on a future stay in Lisbon.
If you’re a seasoned Intercontinental fan, this hotel is likely to disappoint. I’d recommend staying in Estoril instead.

We visited the Intercontinental Lisboa for the first night of our honeymoon. They were extremely accommodating and helped with an early check-in, as they could tell we had a long weekend of weddings and travel. The hotel is on a hill just above the tourist center of town, and very convenient to a metro from the airport and downtown.

We just stayed in Intercontinental just 2 days ago and it was a very very good stay. We stayed in the junior suite and it was brilliant. The beds were soft and it was a big but cozy room. It was my family member’s birthday when we were staying there and the staff presented us with a cake and a bottle of champagne. Since we had the suite we had special privileges to go to the lounge. The waiters were very nice and friendly and the breakfast and dinner buffet’s were delicious.The location is also very nice. The hotel is near a park and it is in the city center. I would definitely come here again!

From the moment we arrived at this hotel, it was perfection. Front staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Bellmen were friendly and accommodating - they stored our luggage while our room was being cleaned and delivered our luggage promptly. We joined the Club and had great drinks, food and excellent customer service each and every time we went into the Club. Our room was spacious, clean and comfy. Concierge services gave us fantastic restaurant suggestions for dinners. There were plenty of open common places which were always clean and bright. Although this was my first visit to an Intercontental Hotel, it definitely won't be my last!

We stayed at the intercontinental Lisbon for 3 nights in the junior suite and the service was top notch!
The staff were extremely helpful, polite and efficient.
The room was lovely with a great shower, extremely comfortable beds.
The lounge access was a blessing with a great spread for breakfast and happy hour with canapés in the evening.
The staff also surprised us with a cake and champagne for my husbands birthday.
We are back here at the end of our trip for a few nights and I look forward to it.

A maintenance person was dispatched the first time He assessed the situation and said I was correct and it would be rectified

This Hotel excels at every level from the moment you arrive and the very warm and friendly greeting from doorman takes your luggage then very kindly escorts you to the Club Lounge to check in you are seated and offered a complementary drink and due to us arriving early our room was not ready so the young man arranged a temporary room for us to relax in and one hour later we were informed our Duplex Suite on the 18th floor was ready that's what i call excellent level of service.
Our room on two levels was furnished to a very high standard the ground floor the spacious lounge and first floor bedroom with spacious bathroom and large walk in shower.
After settling into our room we went to the Club Lounge for afternoon tea assortment of sandwiches cakes scones etc choice of teas and coffee and cold drinks in the evening between 5 pm to 7 pm canape's alcoholic drinks are seved

We were exceptionally impressed with your facility as a whole. All the staff at your facility were not only courteous but went out of their way to make our stay a wonderful experience. Our only regret that we didn't stay longer. The bell service was so helpful especially Ricardo. His friendly greeting every day made it special. The bartenders at the cocktail lounge were very informative about sites to visit. The menu has a wide variety of food items and the service and the food was exceptionally good. Friendly staff, clean room, comfortable bed.
Location is a bit further away than I expected from the major attractions or restaurants or bars.

Very decent hotel with nice service. Pretty clean and comfortable, the location is not bad for sitting right above a nice park with a big book show. However, it does take 20-30minutes walking to major attractions such as nice local restaurants and local bars.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Intercontinental Lisbon. Great hotel, location and service. The bedrooms are spacious, in good condition and have great views over the city.
The staff are friendly, welcoming and really exceeded our expectations. In particular Jaime, Filipa and Wendy in the Club Intercontinental lounge were great. And Alvaro on the Concierge desk was very helpful and knowledgeable.
Highly recommended!

This is a great hotel and excellent value. Rooms are fantastic - actually nicer than the Four Season just across the road - and excellent value.
