Exploring Lisbon with Thomas was great. He showed immense passion for the city and gave real life perspectives of living in Lisbon. He took us through unexplored paths, made us taste local delicacies and took us through the history. I would reccomend Thomas's tour to everyone. It would be great if you could take it at the start of the trip.

Awesome tour! We did this on the first day we were in Lisbon and it was a great way to knock out all the big sights. Thomas was extremely knowledgeable about the history of Lisbon and gave a lot of context for all of the places we went to, and great conversation as we rode to the different stops. The restaurant recommendations Were also excellent for the days following the tour. We have done bike tours all over the world and this was one of the best!

The route is cleverly planned to include the interesting historical areas of the city, whilst still being very easy to Cycle and picturesque. Thomas made the tour interesting and fun. This tour was fantastic and something you’re not able to do just walking. Thomas allowed me to do the tour when I was the only person to sign up which only made it more personal. We were able to see more of the local areas and gain an interesting perspective more than you could as a visitor. It was a great way to learn more about and see more of Lisbon in a few hours!

I really enjoyed the experience of cycling with Thomas. The information he shared, the nice route, his advices, and overall his personality and willingness to chat is always refreshing when you're traveling alone. I felt off from the bike, just a very little scratch on my hand, but I wanted to high light he was fully prepared with the cares I needed. Totally recommended!

Great experience. It's the best way to experience the city. Thomas is a passionate Lissabon lover and likes to share his knowledge about the city. Learn about the culture and history of Portugal while being active! Great for families, friends, or solo travelers who love history and biking. The route is mostly flat and doesn’t require more than basic biking skills. Thomas was great too! Would recommend!

Had a great morning with Thomas. The meeting place is easy to find and he even has helmets available- great to have options for safer riding. It is an easy ride along the water with a nice breeze to keep you cool and plenty of attractions along the way to keep the ride interesting. Thomas was very engaging and great conversationalist. Learned a lot about Portugal’s history and got to sample some delicious treats along the ride.

Thomas was very nice and knowledgeable about the tour and any questions we had. He was attentive to our needs in case the chain of our bikes came off etc. Thomas brings your to the most picture worthy places around Lisbon. Would do this tour with him again if and when I go back to Lisbon.

This experience was clearly the highlight of my trip. I had never really done a bike tour in a city before and always depended on online resources for my experience. The biking day with Thomas was a great way to combine an activity with sightseeing and learning more about the city instead of being absorbed in my phone throughout. We got a bit of rain, which I really like and I had a great group of people too. I got to share a good rapport with Thomas and the others. I ended up connecting with a couple people from the group later as well! Thomas was helpful with suggestions and had good knowledge of the places we visited. He was friendly and promptly helped people fix any issues with the equipment along the way. The pace of the tour was easy and good. I can see it being appropriate for a wide range of ages and fitness levels. I feel more comfortable biking around a new city after this experience, even if by myself. Son tour est original, moi qui connaissait déjà la ville, j'ai été très surprise. Thomas nous emmène dans des endroits typiques mais aussi originaux à Lisbonne. Ce n'est pas tout, il nous partage plein d'anecdotes qu'il est impossible de retrouver dans les guides traditionnels. J'ai adoré l'authenticité de son tour, les gens le connaissent et le saluent. What a wonderful way to spend the afternoon in beautiful Lisbon! Thomas is one of the best hosts I have ever met & I have completed experiences in cities all over Europe. He has a very natural & genuine way of imparting his knowledge of the places where we stopped. I learnt so much without it ever feeling like a history lesson. The route we followed was mostly in bike lanes, away from busy traffic & much of it along the mouth of the river Tagus. The bikes were excellent & very comfortable. We travelled under the Ponte 25 de Abril bridge & visited Alfama where we met some local residents & sampled their cherry liquor. The sun was setting as we left Belèm & made our way back to our starting point. I took so many stunning photos of places I have missed on my previous trips to Lisbon & my friend & I ate in a seafood restaurant nearby after the cycle tour, which was recommended by Thomas. He kindly sent on even more details to everyone afterwards on great places to eat (& where to buy the best Pastel da Natas to bring home!) I highly recommend this trip!

This was by far the highlight of my trip to Lisbon. Thomas is an engaging and knowledgeable guide and he was helpful in giving us extra tips about where to go in Lisbon after the bike tour. Thomas was an amazing guide. We really enjoyed our tour and covered a lot of beautiful spots where we could take some nice photos. He was very friendly and we loved how casual and comfortable the whole experience was. He is also very knowledgeable and had interesting facts to share.

Thomas was great! The bike ride wasn't tiring since the whole way was more or less flat. We learned a lot about Lisbon that we otherwise might have missed and got to see some very nice sights from a different view point. The highlight of the trip was the Pasteis de Nata. Well deserved after all the biking :)

Wir hatten 2 Töchter dabei, eine die Fahrradfahren liebt, die andere hasst es eher. Für beide war die Tour aber problemlos zu meistern. Auch über Privates kann man sich sehr gut mit Thomas austauschen. Er beantwortet auch gerne und ausführlich alle Fragen. Auch zu Themen die nichts mit der Tour selbst zu tun haben. While planning our trip we saw many recommendations online to do a bike tour of Lisbon to help get a sense of the city and are grateful we booked Thomas' tour. It was our favorite thing that we did in Lisbon! Thomas provided a unique experience through his personal knowledge and connections throughout the different parts of the tour - it's like riding around the city with a celebrity! There are a few surprises along the way. We absolutely loved this tour and would recommend it to anyone we know going to Lisbon. Definitely do it on your first day, you cover a lot of ground and it really gives you perspective into the different areas of the city that you may want to explore in more detail on your own.

What a wonderful way to explore Lisbon - Belem. The pace, at all times, was easy + the route scenic + flat, so that even an unexperienced cyclist would find this an easy + enjoyable ride. Thomas is genuinely interested in every single guest + made time to interact with all of us. His knowledge of Portugal + its history was refreshing without being an overload of information. We stopped at significant landmarks along the way & received bite size pieces of information on history etc. Thomas also sent a list of recommended eating spots after our tour. Loved every bit of this trip. If you visit Lisbon, I'd recommend you go on this bike tour first thing to get a not-so-typical overview of this lovely city. Thomas will tell you stories coming from the small alleyways to the big architectural monuments all tied to the history of Lisbon. The ride was so refreshing and you're in for a treat!

This tour was great! Thomas gave us super interesting insider insights into the life and history of Lisbon. The route was easy to cycle and ranged from old city parts (alfama) to modern (belem & lxfaxtory). I feel like I have seen and especially learned cultural and historical information I did not see in the guide books I studied before the trip with Thomas. One thing I really liked about Thomas is that he is not local but because of how much he is immersed in the life here in Lisbon (people on the street greeted him and talked to him like he belongs to them) he can share a very educated, yet less objective perspective as a foreigner. Fantastic experience (June 2019)! I loved getting some activity into this trip and seeing parts that I want to spend more time in. There were plenty of breaks throughout this experience that you lose track of just how much you’ve cycled. Thomas does a good job of connecting with you and answering any questions you have about the history, local culture, etc. This was my first Airbnb experience and definitely not my last!

My family and I had a great time biking in Lisbon with Thomas. He is very genuine and passionate about history of Portugal and made the trip to be a fun experience. We met at the bike shop that was easy to find and head out to town. It was our first time in Lisbon and it was very pleasant. My favorite part was visiting Alfama and learning of its unique history. We just finished an afternoon with Thomas and a few other amazing tourists. From the moment we arrived (and even before with quick responses to a couple of questions) Thomas made us feel welcome. My family of four (including two teenagers) thoroughly enjoyed the sites, explanations, bike ride and of course pastries. The bike tour with Thomas was excellent from start to finish. We were a group of 8 but it was easy to stick with the group while biking and I never felt left behind. Thomas has an immense knowledge of Lisbon and Portugal in general. His fun and laid back personality made it the experience that much more enjoyable. The treats he provided along the way were a bonus! The bikes were in great condition (like new!) and were very comfortable. The bike route was mostly along the water so the level of effort was easy. He provided an extensive list of restaurant recommendations after the tour which proved to be very useful. Thomas was very welcoming, and kindly waited as I was running a little late. He has a lot of knowledge about the history of Portugal and is passionate about the history and sharing what makes the area of Lisbon, Portugal unique. He shared a lot of interesting points that I had no clue about; and the treats along the way were a special touch. Being able to visit the first neighborhood (village) of Lisbon, the history and current state was interesting. The entire experience was well paced, great information, interesting points, and engaging. Thomas is highly recommended and I would definitely bring family and friends to do this experience. It’s also a great way to see areas that you want to come back and spend more time exploring. Try it out, you will not regret it.
