Nous avons passé une super soirée le 2 mars dans ce restaurant de l'Alfamare. L'ambiance est cosy. Le repas était bon. La programmation musicale etait de qualité, du fado mais pas que. Je vous le recommande.

Endroit superbe, cadre cosy et chaleureux ! Le patron Carlos est vraiment au petit soin et attentionné ! Soirée Fado au top, repas délicieux et beau, rien à redire du début à la fin ! On est ravis et on a passé vraiment une excellente soirée ! Merci !

Amazing food, very reasonable pricing and friendly staff. Octopus was very tender and juicy, hamburger was absolutely delicious. I also got smoked pork neck which was tasty as well. He made a special fruit platter for my 6 year old boys and told them if they finished it all they'll get lollipops. And this was all complimentary without me asking for anything. Highly recommended, you won't be disappointed.

Excellent restaurant. La cuisine était absolument délicieuse du début à la fin. La chanteuse fado était aussi exceptionnelle. Le cadre est très intime et joli. Des années que ma femme et moi n'avions pas fait un repas spectacle aussi parfait de bout en bout. Je recommande les yeux fermés.

Nous avons passé un excellent réveillon le fado était au rdv le patron sa femme et le serveur chante très bien.
Les musiciens sont extraordinaire le menu était à la hauteur du moment.

Truly amazing place, one of these hidden gems. Food was amazing and affordable, fados did excellent work with entertainment. Service was amazing! It was my gf's birthday, so I gave waiter just candles to put on top of dessert. Instead she got beautiful dessert platter, other guests cheered, musicians dedicated song. Wonderful memories Thank you guys . Will def visit next time in Lisbon.

Wir erlebten einen wunderbaren Abend mit einem sehr aufmerksamen und freundlichen Service. Das Essen war vorzüglich und die Sängerin und de Gitarrist entführten uns in Welt des Fado. Schade war nur, dass zu wenige Portugiesen anwesend waren. Wirklich empfehlenswert.

Food was excellent. Had wide range of plates that will make everyone happy. Service was good. But my non European friends need to understand the slow relaxed nature of Portuguese dining. I had a 2-3 hr meal so stop whining and relax. No Fado on night I went but they did have music with great guitarist and a traditional singer. I would recommend this place to everyone. Make reservations!

Um local muito bom para escutar um fado, pagasse para ver o fado (5euros)e tem que ter consumação mínima de 20 euros, mas vale muito a pena para quem quer ver um fado. Recomendo comer de entrada o pastel de bacalhau e no prato principal o novilho.

Nous y sommes allés hier soir pour y vivre notre première expérience de Fado.le but était de bien manger et d entendre du bon Fado mais voulions éviter les attrape touristes...
Le pari était gagné car nous avons passé une soirée exceptionnelle ! Le patron est super accueillant et parle beaucoup de langues.les plats étaient juste délicieux sans êtres chers et les artistes nous ont arraché les larmes...
C est simple, si on revient sur Lisbonne on y retourne!

This is a charming little place with great food and attentive a service. The night we were there a guitar and sax jazz duo were playing so it's not Fado every night which is good to know in case, like me, you're not a big Fado fan.

Stay away from this place, the people working here are crazy!!
We were a group walking past the place, and the bouncer started calling one of us a bastard for looking into the restaurant, saying "this is a concert - pay 5 euro to enter or piss off". When anotjer guy asked what the problem was he said "f$$k you".
So... if you want to go somewhere without getting molested by the staff, stay away from this place.
Oh, and the bouncer also shouted at a german couple walking behind us thinking they were with us.

Carlos, the owner, is doing a really good job! Friendly service, good food, charismatic interior and very good live music. We‘ve been there 3 times in one week. The mojitos and the white sangria are the best we‘ve had so far.

Un très bon restaurant. Il y a souvent du Fado de qualité (vérifier sur la page Facebook du restaurant car ce n'est pas tous les jours). Le Fado commence à 21h ou 21h30 donc réserver à partir de 20h30 - pas avant. Petite recommandation pour les amateurs de chocolat: le fondant est délicieux
Autre conseil: le Fado se respecte et s'écoute le plus souvent en silence. Parlez à voix basse si vous le devez et soyez prêts à participer - votre artiste vous le rendra en énergie et émotion !

Das war ein wunderbarer Abend. Die Sänderin nahm das Publikum mehrfach mit auf.

Une très bonne soirée au son du Fado. Attention : les concerts ont tendance à ne commencer que vers 21h voire 21h30. Réservez impérativement pour 21h et pas avant. Peut-être 20h30 en été, nous y sommes allé en basse saison.
Les plats sont bons, les tarifs globalement corrects (60€ à deux pour plat-dessert-vin vert).

Отличное место. Уютное по домашнему, хозяин+пара работников, прекрасно обслуживают, ценник ниже туристических мест центра, плюс живая джаз музыка. Очень душевно, отличное завершение вечера. Если прийти с друзьями - можно и джаз спеть, и на гитаре вдарить по струнам, если уметь.. . Жаль не умею.. .

Cena con espectáculo. La comida excelente, con muy buena relación calidad precio. La actuación de un dueto de fado muy buena también. Como unicas pegas que te ponen pan con una pequeña degustación de pate, aceite, mantequilla y otra cosa sin preguntar y te la cobran. Y luego que nos cobraron 7€ por un chupito de ginja... Un poco exagerado...

La comida perfecta, el servicio muy bien, el concierto de fado también. Solamente que de entrada, por ir al restaurante, cobran 8€ de más que corresponden a un agua cuando llegas que cuesta 3€ y una cesta de pan con un pelín, sin exagerar el pelín, de aceite, mermelada, mantequilla, sal y paté, único inconveniente, lo demás muy bien.

La comida es lamentable y no es precisamente barato. Lo único que salvo un poco la cena fue la chica que cantaba fados que lo hacía muy bien. La sensación en este sitio es de agobio, que no hay suficiente gente para atender a tanta mesa y que se encuentran desbordados. Con lo cuál, empatizas y no te cabreas por recibir un pésimo servicio pero eso sí, luego ellos no empatizan nada cuando te traen la cuenta. Pedí una lubina con arroz y me trajeron un trozo de lubina de piscifactoría con un plazo de arroz a la cubana. Tal cuál, y el precio del plato 18€. Ni en el comedor del colegio comía tan mal.

Came here for Fado music, but also wanting a good meal and both were we worth it. Beware that the bread and water offered are not free, but that seems common as I have read the same done at other Fado spots. Unfortunately I don't recall the musicians NES but they were great. Though performing to a half filled restaurant, they seemed no less passionate about there art. The chorizo was quite good, cheese plate was ok, too salty for me but that is a matter of the type of cheese not necessarily quality. The gaspacho great, if you like acidity as I do. The best thing I had was the sea bass and shrimp on tomato rice. The seafood was good, but the rice is what I really enjoyed

Superbe soirée : les plats sont vraiment bons et raffinés, la salle est agréable (arches, murs en pierre), et les serveurs très sympa (ils parlent français, ce qui pour moi est appréciable).
On en a eu pour 70€ pour entrée, plat, dessert, boisson et café, à 2 personnes.

What a gem! We couldn’t reserve a table at a popular restaurant with Fado performance, but using Google Maps we found this amazing place. It was very low-key from outside. Once inside, it was cozy and clean. Food was great with many wine and drink options. Most importantly, we were able to see two musicians and their friends performing live starting 9:30 pm. It was a great experience for our party of 4. Would come back again in the future!

Esperienza pessima.
Ho ordinato da mangiare alle 8 e mezza di sera e, dopo numerosi richiami, il mio filetto è arrivato dopo un’ora e mezza.
Ci si aspetterebbe almeno un buon piatto, invece era insapore e inconsistente, tanto da lasciarlo non finito.
Inoltre, lo staff non è molto cordiale e la musica di sottofondo è troppo alta, e non permette di discutere e cenare in pace.

Recommandé par le routard 2019 et pas déçu ! Bon repas et excellents vins à déguster sous de belles voutes en pierre, venez y découvrir le fado (mais pas que). Le patron et les serveurs parlent français. Je vous conseille de réserver. Une bien belle adresse pour une fort belle soirée. Comptez tout de même entre 20 et 40€ la soirée (5€ par personne le concert en surplus).

N'ayant pas réservé, nous avons été installé au bar, pour notre plus grand bonheur car le patron a été aux petits soins. Bon accueil, très bonne cuisine, musique en live, et le digestif offert par le patron qui parle français. Chose exceptionnelle, nous avons pu goûter 2 vins avant de faire notre choix

Worst service by the most rude and racist chef. From the moment we arrived he was rude. Other guests were laughing and talking we laughed once and we were told we must be quiet because a concert was on going. Everyone in the restaurant was loud and boisterous accept us. Magnifique moment pour les papilles, l'ambiance qui y règne, tant par l'endroit que par l'atmosphère, l'équipe complète est au petit soin , cuisine et service ... une petite table est toujours en attente pour les français qui ne réservent pas ( clin d'oeil au patron ) que dire du groupe qui s'est produit ce soir ...qu'il nous a transporté? oui c'est ça ! Alors un grand merci à tous pour cette soirée inoubliable avec on le sent une réelle envie de séduire... qui fonctionne totalement ❤

Deixa muito a desejar, ainda mais por ser um Insider no The Fork. Chegamos eram 21:17, dissemos ao funcionário que nossa reserva era para as 21:30 e ele disse que poderíamos nos sentar mas o serviço só começaria às 21:30, até agora não entendi o porquê já que tinha fila de espera para sentarem então o lógico era nos atender logo para rodar a mesa, enfim, comemos o couvert mas o pão (que vem apenas 4 e cobram 5 euros por isso), acabou e perguntei se poderiam por mais para podermos terminar o patê e a manteiga, ele trocou mas na conta vieram me cobrando mais 5 euros a mais por isso, reclamei ao funcionário e ele tirou. O meu prato, o esparregado estava frio e sem sal, assim como a carne, sem muito sabor e sem sal, a batata estava boa mas nada que salvasse o desastre que estava o prato. A sobremesa, o fondant de queijo é muito bom. Na hora da conta não puseram o desconto que eu tinha pela App The Fork, reclamei e puseram, já na hora de pagar, o funcionário selecionou a opção Multibanco SEM MINHA PERMISSÃO e me deu para pagar, só percebi depois e não gostei da atitude pois gostaria de ter pago no Visa. A música ao vivo era boa, pena o serviço ter sido seguido de muitos erros e falta de atenção ao cliente. Infelizmente, por erros que poderiam ser evitados, minha experiência não foi das melhores.

The Fado musicians were absolutley beautiful to listen to. The female singer's voice was so clear and crisp. The restaurant's decor and set up is intimate with a fancy flair without being intimidating. We were greeted warmly without a reservation. The food was well-portioned, presented with finess, and delicious. We had the octopus, shrimp and sea bass, suckling pig, and veal steak. Also, a liter of sangria to share. Definitely a treat of a restaurant!

Luogo incantevole, atmosfera magica creata da un duetto di concertisti presenti quella sera. Cibo insipido, sapori piatti, complessivamente esperienza culinaria mediocre. Prenotato con the fork, abbiamo avuto comunque un conto corposo, nonostante lo sconto dell'app:decisamente troppo caro in rapporto alla qualità del cibo.

We went for dinner and the fado show and both were excellent. I would have to say our server was the icing as she was suburb and attentive. The food was elegantly served and very flavorful specifically the octopus and the sea bream and shrimp. They were a fresh take on traditional Portuguese flavors. The cod cakes as appetizers were nice but not unusual but our custard tart with cinnomon icecream were palet pleases.

Excellent restaurant pour écouter le fado à Lisbonne. Le repas est succulent, le service est parfait ! Et la musique accompagne le tout pour en faire une soirée magique ! Je le recommande vivement !

Encantados de esta experiencia. Preguntamos para solo tomar un vino porque ya habíamos cenado en otro sitio y fueron muy amables. Mesa pequeña y pudimos disfrutar del concierto. Entrada 5€ más consumición. Ambiente muy agradable.

Restaurant sans grand intérêt mis a part pour le Fado.
Cuisine moyenne, mélange de gastronomies européenne et portugaises sans crédo original. Rapport qualité-prix élevé le soir (comptez minimum 17-18 euros le plat).
Ambiance plutôt agréable surtout le soir pendant un concert de Fado.
Les point négatifs de notre expérience :
- Prix élevés injustifiés.
- Manager de salle (ou patron) exécrable. Comportement choquant. Nerveux, il règle ses différends avec ses équipes devant sa clientèle presque violemment..
- Attention prix du "show" (5 euros par personne), spécifié nulle part clairement, la surprise se fait arrivé au comptoir.
- Pour clore le spectacle nous attendons +10min au bar pour payer sans excuses de leur part et leur réglons la note un peu amer.

Very interesting night. Music amazing but the service is very bad. We wait more than 15 min to provide the menu for order deserts. We ask 3 times, after we struggle a lot we receive finally the menu.Food good quality but very expensive for Lisbon.

Serata del Fado con splendida interpretazione della cantante accompagnata dal musicista anch’egli altezza , buon servizio ,locale caratteristico i piatti particolari e discreti , cena accompagnata da dell’ottimo vino Verde ( consigliato) e per finire Sangria .
Non proprio corretto secondo me il rapporto Qualità/Prezzo anche se c’è da dire che quando la serata è accompagnata da musica dal vivo aggiungono 10 euro a testa al totale.

Un régal pour les papilles ! Et un superbe lieu avec personnel chaleureux. De plus, le gérant parle Français. Bref un lieu à ne pas manquer à Lisbonne ! Venir à partir de 20h30 pour profiter du Fado.

Super cadre, bonne ambiance. Je vous recommande de ne pas arriver trop tôt car l'heure du concert commence vers 21h30. Et également de demander une suggestion de digestif (porto, musca, etc)

Not a pleasant stay. The food is trying to be upscale, but in reality is hardly could be described as average. The staff is very unfriendly, and the only good thing is fado performance which definitely isn’t worth spending another evening in such place. Lisbon has many awesome restaurants, so don’t spend your time in this one.

Muzica frumoasa. Mancarea foarte buna. Un singur aspect deranjant: iti pun pe masa niste produse si nu iti explica ce e cu ele acolo. Daca le consumi le platesti. Ne.au pus apa pe masa si niste startere. La sfarsit nota cu 30 de euro mai mare. Daca ar explica de ce te serveste cu starter si ca sunt contra cost ar fi meritat din plin 5 stele!

Très agréable petit resto ou l'accueil est très chaleureux. L'un de nos endroits préférés pour bien manger à Lisbonne. Le concert de musique fado auquel nous avons assisté était bien sympathique. Pensez à réserver.

Efectuei uma reserva para este restaurante, para as 19:30 e cheguei às 20:00 e fui recebido por um empregado que lhe indiquei que tinha feito uma reserva via plataforma thefork&tripadvisor, a qual desconhecia, não estava no seu livro de reservas, mostrei-lhe a confirmação recebida por e-mail e para meu espanto quer pela falta de simpatia e quer pelo rigor horário, informou-me que a reserva tinha sido cancelada.
Pela recepção antipatica e pelo rigor horário da reserva, tendo em conta que só tem um turno, um local a evitar.

We have had an fantastic evening with absolutely tasteful food and great wine. Excellent service. At the evening Fado was performed live by Vania Conde and Gabriel Godoi. Her voice is outstanding and Gabriel accompanied her with his guitar very emotionally. Thanks for all!

Bang average food. Imagine a small town pub trying something half fancy for the first time. You can easily eat twice as well for half the price all over Lisbon. The live jazz music (that started late) was comically bad. We stayed for one song and they tried to charge us an extra €10 for this. We had actually made an effort to finish our drinks quickly to get out. We still paid €96 (for 2 people) for our very overpriced, average meal but refusing to pay €10 for the ear offensive, live jazz was enough for the manager to make a scene and ruin our evening. Basically avoid!

Fantastic restaurant. From the maître d' to the restaurant manager we got excellent service. Restaurant was packed but we were served promptly and with great care. The food was delicious and the music was great. We missed the Fado night but caught Brazilian music which was also really good. Definitely worth a stop on a short visit to Lisbon to experience the Alfama area and excellent Portuguese food.

Delicious food which we really enjoyed, we asked for white wine sangria which was amazing (but strong!). Hugely reasonable prices, 2x starters and mains was ~€35 although drinks were slightly pricier and 2 jugs of sangria cost around the same. Overall would recommend

I've been there every night on my short trip to Lisboa. The main dishes are amazing (yes, I tasted every dish) and the wine is perfect, too.

Wonderfull small Restaurant at Alfama Lisboa. Great and delicious food with an great atmosphere. When you are lucky you can enjoy your food with an live concert. Mostly Jazz or fado. The Crew is proffesionel and very polied. Awesome place. Thank you guys.

Locale nell'Alfama. Volevamo assistere a un concernto di fado e siamo capitati qui. Il gestore è giovane, come tutto lo staff, e molto cordiale, abbiamo ordinato e assistito all'esibizione di una cantante accompagnata da un chitarrista. Molto emozionante. Per il concerto è applicata un tariffa di € 5,00 a persona ed è possibile assistere anche senza cenare. Consiglio però di assaggiare i loro piatti!

I can say the cuisine was good, but I'm a local, and there's no traditional fado, there's no traditional food, and you don't pay in any other fado's House for the show, is actually an insult, cause you have the best artists singing in many other restaurants around. This place is very expensive just for keep money from turists! the concept is opportunist!

Very poor service. We came for a drink and appetizer and to listen to live music... and we were almost forced away by a waiter with reprimanding comments how "it is not good to do this" and "you should think first and then come". The waiter did not even attempt to apologize or explain, for example "I'm sorry, but you need to order a dinner to stay", which would be expected in any restaurant. Two minutes prior to that that same waiter had spilled a drink on a lady next table and behaved poorly as well... Leaving this place early saved a trouble for our evening.

Das Duetos da Sé hat uns vollumfänglich überzeugt. Sehr angenehme Atmosphäre, freundliche Bedienung und natürlich schön zubereitetes und leckeres Essen. Später am Abend beginnt jeweils eine Band zu spielen, die das ganze Spektakel musikalisch abrundet. Wenn man das nicht will und 5€ pro Person sparen will, geht vor 22h.

Note this: About those appetizers on the table, (bread basket, olive oil, butter, jam etc...) including water, if you eat them, you'll pay it! It will come on the bill. If you just look at it, well, they take them back without charging you.
(actually i ate and they are very tasty too!)
Live musicians were great, although I think it could be a little bit more interactive with the guests, and by this i mean making people clapping singing and etc! And no, it wasn't Fado!
Maybe we were too "young" for this type of performance. We start to fall asleep.(we walked all day) :)
Anyway, if you're looking for a place for dinner, it's a really nice.

My partner and I ate at this restaurant on a Sunday evening. We were given a bread basket with oil and a berry compote type jam. We didn't order this but noticed it was on the starters menu and assumed it was complimentary, it isn't. We ordered one starter and two mains, the starter of cured chorizo sausage arrived promptly and was tasty enough. However the mains took a further 50 minutes to arrive during which time the waiters offered no further drinks. When the main courses did arrive they were unfortunately not good. My husband ate pork loin with a cranberry sauce and mashed potatoes, the pork was tough, dry and clearly overcooked and the portion was very small. I had monkfish with a butter and corriander sauce, the monkfish was also overcooked stringy and dry. Having waited 50 minutes for this it was very disappointing, especially given the higher than average price when compared to other restaurants in the area. When the bill came a 10 euro service charge had been added which only served to make the experience all the more annoying. The modern Fado music was very good.

Dankzij de hoge score op TripAdvisor besloten wij met 6 man naar Duetos da Sé te gaan. Ook vanwege de Fado muziek. Het eten vonden wij niet lekker. Met name de bacalao was slecht bereid. Vis was taai en smakeloos, de puree veel te zout. Verder was de frites veel te zout. Het schaaltje (keihard) brood dat wij niet besteld hadden stond wel op de rekening. Toen wij de eigenaar confronteerden met onze ontevredenheid schoot hij in de verdediging en deed vervelend. Verder was de muziek helemaal geen Fado, maar kostte wel 5 euro per persoon.

Small cozy restaurant with life music at 9. Food was ok though i found the bacalau too dry and chewy. The young waitor had his first night and got very confused.

Found this place completely by accident and glad we did. Great food, wine and the live music made the night perfect. Food was very reasonably priced. On the way out the barman give us a complimentary local liqueur, can't remember what it was but it was a nice way to finish the meal.
