Cibo ottimo, molto buono anche il rapporto qualità prezzo. 10 punti in più vanno a uno dei camerieri che oltre ad essere molto gentile e divertente parla 4 o 5 lingue. Super consigliato!!

Una splendida serata in una fantastica cornice estremamente portoghese. Il ristorante ha molti turisti tuttavia ha mantenuto la sua identità portoghese. Ci si siede tutti vicini per cui evitate se preferite essere sicuramente da soli senza vicini. I piatti sono sinceri e il menù vastissimo. Consigliatissimo il baccalhau a braz!!!
Sinceramente lo consiglio già solo per il fantastico cameriere poliglotta che con simpatia (non cafonaggine) e cordialità spiega tutto il menù, dando consigli e abbinamenti ideali.
Un bellissimo posto dove respirare l'aria di un portogallo che non vuole truffare turisti ma aprire le porte della loro tradizione culinaria a tutto il mondo.

La comida no está mal y el precio muy adecuado, pero sin duda lo mejor es el camarero. No sé lo que cobra pero se gana el sueldo con creces. Habla español, francés, inglés, italiano... Y es muy atento y simpático. Hemos disfrutado de una cena muy agradable.

Found it by accident, it was a great choice for a traditional dinner, the food was great. Also the waiter was fluent in multiple languages, which was a pleasant surprise.

Nous sommes allé à 7 dans ce petit restau et nous avons pu avoir une table immédiatement sans réserver. Les serveurs nous ont accueillis avec enthousiasme en français. Pour la cuisine, rien de bien particulier, la nourriture est bonne mais sans plus, les plats copieux mais un peu trop salé.

The restaurant was very nice, the service helpful to English or French speaking guests. Local food was ok, but not surprised me. Some supplements (bread pure or grilled vegetables) unfortunately didn’t taste well.

Fantastic place to visit if you are looking for a nice authentic portuguese restaurant. Excellent and delicious fish, quality portions, great and cheerful staff and the most important thing, affordable prices, which is a pleasant surprise considering the location of the restaurant. Two of us had an appetiser (standard Portuguese), 2 main dishes/fish (12 euros each), 2 bottles of beer, 1 medium sized bottle of portuguese red wine (around 8 euros), bottle of still water, tomato salad with onions (around 4 euros), home-made french fries on a side (around 4 euros) and a blueberry cake for dessert. All in total, 54 euros. If you guys are looking for a cosy and a casual place to enjoy some great food and not end up broke and hungry in the process, this is the place. P.S. cash only restaurant, be sure to bring some.

This is second time here for dinner and well what can I say....brilliant!! Service, food, deserts, atmosphere all 5/5!! Bypass the countless so called lisbon authentic food experience and head straight to this place. Trust me, as a local, it doesn’t get much better for this price point.

Wir waren am frühen Abend unterwegs in Barrio Alto und haben nach einer Möglichkeit gesucht, etwas zu essen, als wir auf dieses kleine gemütliche Restaurant gestoßen sind. Es war halb 8 am Abend und wir haben sofort einen Tisch und die Speisekarte bekommen. Auf Nachfrage hat uns ein sehr netter und zuvorkommender Kellner die portugiesische Speisekarte auf englisch und deutsch übersetzt und uns die zahlreichen Fisch- und Fleischgerichte detailliert beschrieben. Das Essen war nach etwa einer halben Stunde da. Das Essen war sehr lecker, wobei ich vor allem den traditionellen gebackenen, salzigen Fisch Bacalhau und den Weißwein des Hauses empfehlen kann. Das "Gemüse" bestand hauptsächlich aus Kohl, dessen Geschmack man mögen muss. Die Pommes bei einem anderen Gericht waren nicht sonderlich knusprig, aber ansonsten hatten wir nichts zu beanstanden! Die Preise waren ebenfalls sehr angemessen und haben zu den Portionen gepasst!
Alles in allem kann ich dieses Restaurant jedem empfehlen der guten Fisch essen will und kein portugiesisch spricht.

Très bon restaurant de poissons et fruits de mer, notre serveur parlait au moins 4 langues différentes et était très drôle. Cuisine traditionnelle de qualité, desserts fait maisons délicieux (on a goûté le gâteau à la cannelle et le flan portuguais), je recommande !

Sono stata in questo ristorante 15 anni fa e mi era piaciuto così tanto che ho voluto ritornarci. È stato un errore, sono rimasta proprio delusa dal cibo. I piatti non sono più di buona cucina portoghese,
ma decisamente turistici nel senso peggiore della parola. Ho preso pesce di San Pietro. Erano 3 filettini probabilmente scongelati, impanati e fritti in un olio che non sapeva di nulla. Ma la panatura non aderiva al pesce, c'era come una bolla e dentro il pesce sembrava bollito. Come contorno c'era un pancotto abbastanza buono, ma a me era passato l'appetito e non sono riuscita a finire il piatto. Ben diverso il cibo della prima volta sia come qualità e quantità, abbondantissimo e saporito. Nonostante tutto ho dato 2 stelle per il cameriere che parla italiano ed è molto professionale.

La déception suprême si bien qu’après cet endroit, j’ai hésité à retourné dans un restaurant portugais.
Le serveur était assez bizarre et presque un peu agressif. Il a pris la commande des gens avec qui j’étais mais pas la mienne directement, puis à la fin, je découvre que je dois payer 18 euros parce que l’entrée n’est pas inclue et ils se sont fait plaisir à rajouter plus de 5 euros sur mon addition.
Le plat était ok sans plus, pas à la hauteur et certainement pas au prix affiché.

Great service, good food. The waiter spoke multiple languages and translated the menu for us, since it's only in Portugese. The food was nice, big portions, and not expensive at all. We had the bacalhau a bras and the lamb chops. The house wine was also good!

That tuna is so good, it's hard to tell with words. And the waiter explaining (loudly) the menu in at least 5 languages is worth a sightseeing tour on its own .

Sehr sympathische Bedienung. Er hat sich Mühe gegeben und uns alle Gerichte auf der Karte in Deutsch übersetzt.
Auch das Essen war wirklich sehr lecker. Der Lachs war auf den Punkt gebraten und gut angerichtet.

Tentador desde afuera, parece una cantina típica: buena oferta de platos portugueses, pero una vez en la mesa, la comida no llega a la calidad media que abunda en Lisboa. Con más esmero en hacer entrar clientes que en satisfacerlos, y precios engañosos. La recepción en la mesa es con pan y queso mediocre, que parece ser una atención al cliente pero que terminan cobrando a un precio demasiado alto para lo que es, sin ninguna aclaración previa.
Con la gran oferta de precio y calidad de Lisboa, no volvería allí.

Bon restaurant dans un cadre authentique poutre et faïence au mur.... les serveurs parlent français ce qui est agréable pour déchiffrer les plats proposés. Plat copieux ( nous avions pris du porc grillé et turbos grillé) dessert fait maison pour certains notamment une spécialité du Sud Portugal a la cannelle reine Claude. Je conseille.

영어메뉴가 없어서 친절하게 다 설명해주시긴 했는데 맛은 비추. 왠만하면 맛있게 다 잘 먹는 스타일인데 영 그냥 그랬어요. 바로 옆에 햄버거집 갈걸 후회했음. 그릴 오징어 먹었는데 평범한 맛.. 사르딘튀김은 너무 짰네요. 추천해준 화이트와인은 맛있었어요. 다시 가고싶은 생각은 없음..

메뉴판에 영어 설명이 없어서 직원분께 설명을 부탁드렸더니 설명도 친절히 해주시고 전통 음식을 추천해주셔서 쉽게 메뉴를 고를 수 있었습니다. 와인 한 잔을 시켰더니 베이비 와인이라며 작은 와인 한 병을 주셨는데, 비교적 저렴한 가격에 와인을 마셨습니다. 돼지고기 요리는 약간 짰지만 무난한 맛이었고, 참치 스테이크는 가시도 없고 정말 부드러웠습니다. 포르투갈에서 먹은 생선 요리 중에 제일 맛있었어요. 식전빵과 함께 버터, 치즈, 참치 등 곁들일 것들을 다양하게 줍니다.

Locale tipici portoghese (a partire dal menù solo in lingua portoghese). Il cameriere è molto gentile e traduce ogni pasto in italiano. La cucina è semplice, sia di carne che di pesce, e i dolci deliziosi (fatti in casa). Prezzo ragionevole. Consigliatissimo.

I had such an excellent experience, I ate here five nights on my trip to Lisbon!! Authentic local cuisine, large portions, and friendly staff. Loved the head waiter, who could speak multiple languages fluently, gave great recommendations, and was attentive and engaging. The staff treated me like family and prices were reasonable. I recommend the Iberico pork stew, tuna steak, and the homemade merengue. Eat your heart out!!

Pequeno restaurante situado no Bairro Alto, por vezes difícil encontrar mesa, excelente atendimento, comida portuguesa preparada com muita dedicação. Recomendo a Feijoada de Porco Preto que é meu prato favorito quando lá vou. Nos fins de semana só costumam estar aberto no sábado para almoço somente. Muito popular entre turistas e locais. Vale a visita.

Je conseil ce restaurant j'y etait ce mercredi 21/02/2018 avec ma femme aux fond de la salle...miguel le serveur est aux top parle très bien plusieurs langues et explique tres bien se que vous allez manger poisson frais et viande fraîche étant moi même portugais né en France et parlant très peux le portugais ce restaurant et vraiment très bien et sachez une chose si il y'a pas de portugais dans le restaurant ou vous mangez aux Portugal alors c'est un piège à touriste alors moi je vous conseil de chercher des petit resto dans les petites rue loin du tourisme et la vous y manger aux top et pas cher....... sinon sest aussi cher qu'en France... et n'oubliez pas que le couvert est payant (pain thon olive fromage tous se qu'on vous emmène à l'apéro est payant.....

Good value for money, great service. I had lunch here, the "Pataniscas de bacalhau" were tasty. My server spoke good English and offered to explain everything. Overall it felt like an authentic place that gets a lot of tourists but isn't a tourist trap.

Scoperto per caso passeggiando per Lisbona. Antico ristorante con piatti della cucina tipica portoghese, ambiente familiare con un bravo cameriere che parla varie lingue tra cui l'italiano che ti presenta i piatti del menù. Noi abbiamo gustato ottime polpette di baccalà e i dolci tipici portoghesi con un ottimo rapporto tra ciò che si mangia e ciò che spende, sicuramente una cucina da provare.

Komme seid Jahren immer wieder in dieses kleine Lokal. Freundliches Personal, einer der Kellner ist ein wahres Sprachgenie, er erklärt die täglichen Speisen in der jeweiligen Landessprache, da es die Menukarte nur in portugiesisch gibt. Gute Hausmannskost - ohne Schnick und Schnack.

I stumbled upon the place while wandering around, it's very easy to miss. I was there around 8pm and there was just another table of tourists, so I didn't expect anything truly authentic. By 8.30pm it was filled with a mixed set of tourist and locals. The menu was in Portuguese but the staff translated it for me. They have a choice of Portuguese tapas, fish and meat mains. Try the "little fish from the garden", which are green bean tempuras. The food was tasty and I was happy to try the traditional cuisine.
Tip: They bring cheese, bread and butter before you ask and charge you for it if you eat them. You can kindly ask them to remove if you don't want to pay for these. It's a little uncool that they do this.

Me and my Girlfriend had a nice meal there. The Card is written in portugiese but they will help you translate (in our case to german but they also do it into france or english). The service and also the food was ecellent and we will come back soon.

Goed eten, goed prijsje en excellente service, met dank aan de ober; meneer Miguel. Dinerkaart is in het Portugees maar was geen probleem voor de ober deze te vertalen in het Engels. Heel last minute besloten om hier te eten, totaal geen spijt van!

Good traditional local fare. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Do note that they do charge for the bread and butter that they bring you even if you don't ask for them.

Just passing by we decided it looked good. We weren't wrong. Delicious steak, very tasty fish. The best thing is the service though. More than perfect. The waiters make this place very special indeed especially the waiter who speaks 6 different languages.

Typical cheap Portuguese restaurant. Service firm in English, German, Spanish.no English menu. Very quick and quality price ratio excellent. Nothing very special, but truly simple and authentic food.

We ate here on a whim and were absolutely pleased. The menu is only in portugese but our waiter literally translated it all into English so it was no problem... he then translated the next two tables into german and french...the food is also amazing. My wife had a steak with garlic and I had the fish special and both were great. Highly recommend it

Miguel il cameriere è molto gentile e parla bene italiano, il cibo ottimo ed anche il prezzo. In due abbiamo mangiato un assaggio di formaggio offerto appena si entra, antipasto, due secondi, vino bianco, due dolci, due caffè e due amari pagando appena 60 euro: buon 1° de Maio para todos!

Very bad meal. The fish was off and tasted terrible, accompanied by soapy potatoes and cabbage. My wife has stringy lamb with chips and rice????? We didn't finish our meal and complained to deaf ears. Avoid at all costs.

Excelente restaurante típico de Lisboa, muito bem atendido pela equipe, principalmente por Miguel – um simpático e atípico garçon que fala 7 idiomas fluentemente e dá ótimas dicas. É possível ver cantoras de fado famosas entre os comensais. Localizado a poucos passos do Largo de Camões em pleno Chiado.

Tourist trap. Avoid by all means. Slice of lemon to accompany fish was moldy. The bill featured items we didn't eat (the waiter then corrected it).
