Das Restaurant liegt direkt am Fuße der Zitadelle mit Blick auf den Yachthafen. Sehr schön gelegen und ein wenig Abseits der touristischen Einkaufsmeile. Angelockt durch ein Langusten-Angebot, haben wir uns für einen Besuch entschieden.
Das Personal ist ausgesprochen hilfsbereit und total aufmerksam, ohne aufdringlich zu wirken. Wir waren zu zweit und bekamen einen tollen Tisch direkt am Fester mit Blick auf den Hafen.
In einem Fischrestaurant sind die Erwartungen doch sehr hoch, denn hier muss alles ganz frisch sein. Um es vorweg zu nehmen, die Erwartungen wurden voll erfüllt. Leider gab es jedoch keine Languste. Schade!
Wir entschieden uns dann für eine andere Variante und bestellten als Vorspeise Oktopussalat und Venusmuscheln in Knoblauch. Beide Vorspeisen waren erstklassig zubereitet und geschmacklich sehr gut. Als Hauptspeise gab's Thunfisch und eine Reisgericht mit Meeresfischen. Absolut gut! Die Nachspeisen waren ebenfalls sehr gut. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist sehr gut. Das Restaurant kann empfohlen werden und erhält von uns fünf Sterne.

Great:
- All the food, from the starters to the mains and desserts. Dishes are Portuguese but all very refined, and the prices are very humane.
- The space feels classy and relaxed, without being pretentious in any way.
Could be better:
- The restaurant is housed in a glass cube over the yacht club, wedged into the ramparts of the port, so it's a little tricky to find. It has a nice view over the whole bay, which could be even easier to see if the windows were cleaner.
- Staff is very friendly and helpful, but we sometimes had to work to get their attention.

Fui 2 vezes. Na primeira, acolhimento frio
, compensado por bom serviço e excelente cozinha. Na segunda vez, novamente acolhimento pouco simpático, recusaram servir " porque já temos uma mesa grande cheia" (uma mesa com 20 japoneses e o resto do restaurante vazio).
Alguém lhes ensina que quando um restaurante tem a porta aberta é mesmo isso que significa?

It was the worst experience we had in Portugal. The restaurant was pretty empty, but they just got 2 people working. It was a girl that I think she was just a runner and a guy that he was dealing with phone reservations, orders, doing cocktails.The guy really struggled to make everybody happy, but after we waited for like 10 minutes we finally got the menus. And we ordered a beer and a glass of white wine. We got the beer in like 15 minutes but not the wine, and he didn't took us the order for the food yet... So after like another 5-10 minutes of waiting he was finally ready with the wine and to take the order... We just asked for the bill and we left. He said we don't have to pay, we really wanted to pay, but he insisted. I really appreciate the waiter that he tried his best.
The problem is not the waiter. The guy was taking orders from 3 tables at the same time, making cocktails and taking reservations on the phone. If you really want to have a decent restaurant, the management should have the decency to hire more staff and always have a barman, a host, a waiter and a runner. If you have all of that, then the service can be better.

Vista espectacular de Cascais e Marina. Especialidades sea food mas também tem pratos de carne e risotto de cogumelos para os vegetarianos. Excelente presentação dos pratos. Atendimento excelente.

service is so friendly, this is the best! Octopus salad is very good, monkfish with quinoa is so original and a must to try. Seabass is also very satisfying.. I’m so glad that we chose Maria Pia to have dinner.

A localização não é tudo. Fomos bem atendidos pelo funcionário mais antigo e a comida é bem cofecionada. Mas num prato em que o camarão é a "estrela" (Caril de Camarão) não se deve usar miolo de camarão congelado, pois não tem qualquer sabor. Aliás não existe nenhum prato na ementa onde devesse ser usado esse ingrediente. A margem de lucro não deveria intervir na qualidade dos pratos servidos.
Fica o conselho de quem não se importa de pagar, mas fica sem vontade de regressar.

Wonderful restaurant! Our server Mafalda is so nice and gives really good recommendations. The food is delicious, especially the ceviche!! And the price is very fair for such high quality food and service! Nice view too!

Fuimos un sábado a comer mi mujer,mi hija de 6 años y yo.
El sitio muy bonito con muy buenas vistas al mar.El ambiente muy agradable y el personal aunque joven , muy atento y agradable.
Relación calidad-precio muy buena.
Espectacular el arroz caldoso son pulpo.
Con una ración para 2 personas pueden comer 3/4 .
El gazpacho muy bueno también y bien presentado.
Lo recomiendo.
Yo volveré.

El restaurante está correcto en cuanto a su situación con vistas al puerto, pero los platos que nos sirvieron estaban condimentados con excesivo cilantro, cambiándole el sabor al pescado y el precio de la Copa de vino de la casa fue muy alto teniendo en cuenta que pedimos un vino blanco.

Fuimos atraidos por las generosas reseñas que encontramos en las redes sociales y nos resultó bastante defraudante.
Nada tiene relación con el precio y la fama.
El local es cutrecillo: Un cubo de cristal no muy bien cuidado. Con decoración demasiado típica y antigua.
El servicio a la par del local. Antiguo, disperso y escaso.
La calidad de la comida es buena.
Tiene vistas a la marina y la playa de Cascais.
Tiene aparcamiento cerca.

A vista é espetacular!!!
A comida é fantástica!
O restaurante é muito acolhedor, uma atmosfera aconchegante...
Mas... o serviço foi a desejar. Eu explico: só que atavam dois garçons a serviço, sendo que um deles fazia as vezes de caixa.
Isso nos deixou esperando para pedir as bebidas de entrada, a retirada dos pratos após estarmos servidos e o pedido da sobremesa.
Porém a simpatia dos garçons abranda um pouco essa falha.
De modo geral; eu recomendo!!!

Ristorante posizionato sul porto di Cascais con vista panoramica, ottima accoglienza e camerieri gentilissimi anche nel suggerire e spiegare i piatti. Sicuramente uno dei migliori posti per assaporare la cucina locale. Prezzo non economico ma adeguato al posto e alla qualità.

Delicious food and the ambiance is very nice. The staff are friendly and the location is perfect. I recommend for lunch and Dinner.

The restaurant is located on the marina and all the views from inside or in the terrace is very nice and scenic, the service is nice and quick and the plates are very nicely done and with good portions. The prices are very good for the location, service and food quality. They also have a separate terrace bar on top. Totally recommend and will be back for sure.

Good (sea) food, great views of the marina and sea and beaches. Portugese classics. Quite expensive (40 euro pp for 3 courses and 2 glasses of whine). Today (Thursday 2 August) the service was slow.

We came across the cute terrace bar first but fancied being indoors so went down to the main restaurant downstairs. Right decision! Spacious, big tables for families, lovely and bright decor and great views! The staff were kind even though we didn't have a full meal and so we left with a very good impression! Nice recommendations and all in all a MUST in Cascais!!!!

I visited a seafood restaurant, but took steak. I will mostly talk about the steak. First of all, quite a lot of salt. However the sauce was delicious. It was served with bacon and sliced potatoes. They told me they are fries, but they are not. The potatoes were good though. One big minus was the time. It took a long time for our food to come. The restaurant was nearly empty. I understand to make good food it takes time though. Overall, great experience.

Excellent food in every dish. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and their recommendations were on point. The wine was just perfect with every dish. The view was exceptional with the perfect sunset. If you enjoy perfect dining you need to come to this establishment. This is my second time and I will keep coming back.

Great location at the Marina with views out - make a reservation to get one of the good tables by the window.
Food was great - and one of the best bread baskets and beetroot butter that we received on our trip in Portugal! So don't skip it.
We went for the fish stew/soup to share between two, and it wasn't a disappointment. Lots of tasty fresh white fish, and the broth was just amazing too.
Tomato rice side was a HUGE portion, enough for three people - so great value for money, although it was a little salty.
Pricing was not the cheapest, but the setting is romantic and fine dining, so it was the prices we expected to pay.

War schon mal besser vor einem Jahr. Speisen nicht mehr so gut zubereitet teilweise geschmacklos wie früher. Voll mit ungehobelten Amerikanern, die die Bedienung schickanieren. Unangenehm.

Das Maria Pia Seafood Restaurant befindet sich direkt am Yachthafen und der Zitadelle von Cascais. Nicht nur die Lage ist beeindruckend, sondern auch die Speisen. Es ist ein Fischrestaurant der Spitzenklasse mit hervorragenden lokalen Produkten und einem herzlichen Service, wodurch es auf ganzer Linie überzeugt. Der Preis der Speisen und Getränke ist für Schweizer Verhältnisse extrem gering. Nur rund 100 Euro sind nötig, um mit zwei Personen ein Mehr-Gänge-Menü zu speisen und einen guten Wein zu trinken.

An excellent seafood restaurant, we went by chance were lucky to get a table, ordered the chef's menu which is what we recommend you to do. Small pieces of seared tuna was worth the whole menu, but also a seaweed brás (no clue what a brás is) and the acorda are worth mentioning. For the money it's a true bargin. Lounge atmosphere, but the food is so much better, good friendly and efficient staff.

We had dinner with 4, two of the starters and two of the main dishes were far off from what you would expect. Maybe the cook had an off day. Waiting staff is friendly and the restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere.

Uma surpresa. Bom espaço, atendimento cuidado e muito simpático. Cuidado no detalhe e os pratos cumprem com o prometido. Ingredientes frescos e saborosos. Gostei bastante. Vale bem a pena a visita.
