Fantastic designer ceramics and such helpful staff. I've just been in and although the shop had just closed it was opened up after I knocked on the door. Thanks also to the Lady in the shop next door who rang Paula. I'd returned from the UK and was after a particular piece.

I chanced upon this lovely store after my visit to Castelo S Jorge. I've already bought genuine Portuguese-made azulejos but I wasn't able to resist buying more hand-made tiles (by Nunes) as they were just simply amazing. If only I could bring home more ceramics (quite heavy!), I would have purchased a lot more!

Very nice pottery. Unfortunately the sales person (maybe owner) was very rude. He was explaining the story of the beautiful pottery and I gave a compliment saying it was nice that it wasn’t made in China. He interpreted it as an insult and started yelling at me in front of my children. I told him that I was giving him a compliment because most things in the US are mass made in China. He would not listen and walked away. He said “you asked me if it was made in China..” I insisted it was a simple misunderstanding and was very nice pottery. I have been all over Europe and never experienced anything like it. Oh well, I took my € elsewhere and bought their pottery. I wish him all the best in his endeavors.

Absolutely love this shop. Had to go back a couple times to get everything that my wife had sent me for. But well worth the trip from Valencia, Spain. We will be back again soon I am sure.

Tienda de azulejos hechos a mano bastante diferentes al resto, muy originales. Tienen varias tiendas, hay dos frente por frente. No tienen tienda online, ¡un error! Fácil de solventar.

I was rushed away from the place because I was going spend all my money in there in August 2016. Why don't you have an online shop, the place was magical!

All items are unique and high quality. Maybe you can not find same item in other shop cause it is all hand made. The proprietor is very kind. He explained detail about things i bought and recommended restaurants nearby his shop. I am really satisfied with both souvenir and his service.

The proprietor was very friendly and quite knowledgeable about all things Portugal. They mainly sell beautiful handmade pieces signed by the artist that are perfect for presents, decorations, and housewares. It's worth browsing around if you are looking for a more unique gift or memento.
