O mais importante num barbeiro é a forma como deixa a barba feita.
Devo dizer que fiquei agradado com o corte de barba que me foi feito, contudo tem espaço para melhorar. O facto de hoje acordar e não ter ponta de pele irritada deixa-me satisfeito com o serviço.
Fui bem atendido e a parte de ser tratado por tu é algo que torna o ambiente mais informal e agradável. O barbeiro teve sempre a humildade de ouvir o que lhe dizia e isso são pontos a favor. Quanto ao corte de cabelo também ficou dentro do esperado.
Acho apenas que é necessário ter atenção a alguns detalhes, como tirar os pelos de orelhas!!
Louvo a paciência do barbeiro que 4 anos de experiência soube lidar com a minha barba, que não é feita com pelos de bébe.
Mas nem tudo é bom nesta barbearia. Coisas como lavar a cabeça antes do corte de cabelo? Não sei já viajei muito e estive em muitos barbeiros é isso é algo normal! 50€ pelo serviço é demasiado para a qualidade!
O chefe da casa devia saber que é necessário ser humilde e crescer de forma sistemática na profissão. Devia também saber que há clientes que já passaram por barbeiros muito melhores que ele com 40 anos de profissão e não cobram 50€.
É apenas um menino que ficou famoso, quando provares um sushi de 50€ como já provei logo vais entender muita coisa.
O meu obrigado ao barbeiro que me atendeu, mas o resto deixou a desejar.

Sehr stylisch und spannend um zu sehen was da gemacht wird. Aber sehr teuer. Kann man aber sicher hier besser machen lassen als in der Schweiz als Beispiel.

A pior experiência que tive em 40 anos. Quer de cabelo quer de atendimento. Além de ter de ouvir o tratamento por tu (de quem é muito mais novo e a quem eu não tratava por tu) e de ouvir «mano» de 10 em 10 segundos, saí com corte irreconhecível e inadequado ao rosto. Disse de início como queria o cabelo. Percebi que isso não importava --- nesta casa, só cortam «como as linhas do cabelo mandam», disseram-me de forma arrogante, ainda acrescentando «Não é de Lisboa?» com ares de superioridade, como se fosse obrigatório conhecer estes Talibãs ou Reizinhos de Coisa Nenhuma. Sucede que sou de Lisboa e que costumo cortar em cabeleireiros até mais caros. Pior do que o péssimo corte só mesmo a sobranceira «Mano, daqui a um mês passas aqui e vais ver se eu não tinha razão». UM MÊS COM PENTEADO E CORTE ANEDÓTICOS ATÉ VIRAR POR MAGIA ALGO DECENTE?! Claro que fui ao Tony and Guy cortar passados dias, pois até as pessoas minhas amigas me diziam que parecia um atrasado mental que passa dias a ouvir Elvis e a jogar jogos de Spectrum. Falta de adaptabilidade total. No fim do corte, ainda peço retoques; mas cabeleireiro (creio que Filipe) mostra-se indignado. No topo disto tudo, PAGUEI 10 EUROS SÓ PELA MARCAÇÃO e estive 40 minutos à espera. «Marcou?» «Marquei» «Agora é esperar» ouvi, presumivelmente o gerente, dizer com timbre e fácies altivos. Têm a mania e não se percebe porquê. Cortei o cabelo dias depois e o cabeleireiro da mesma rua disse-me que o corte estava péssimo e muito levantado atrás. Que esperar de um espaço como este em que nem lavam cabelo no início ou no fim? Nunca mais lá ir.

Seems like the total hipster hang out where everyone is more worried about taking photos and looking like they don't care about anything. Barber spent most of the haircut complaining that my hair isn't the way it should be (??) and ended up hurrying me out since there were about 4 other people waiting. Meanwhile, some guys came in to take photos of the place, including the clients (???) without asking for any permission.
Summary: No bueno. Had to get another cut 2 weeks later, somewhere else.

I was pretty skeptical going in that a hipster Barber shop like this one could be so great. It's got that trendy vibe that makes you suspicious that the barbers behind the business are just turning out cheap cuts. I was pleased to see that my first impression was incorrect. The barber who cut my hair was quite professional and incredibly thorough; the cut took a full hour and may have been the most precise that I've ever had. Super impressed by the work that they do here, just be warned: they are serious about only doing classic men's cuts. If you want something else, go somewhere else!

WORST haircut I've ever had, left it in such a state that I had to go somewhere else to have it all shaved off! Also crazy expensive for Lisbon - €45 for haircut and beard cut. Good marketing, terrible product.

A good experience! Super friendly and welcoming. Just a few things to note before you go in for first time: expect to wait up to about 1-2 hours for a cut and know you will most likely walk out looking like all the people who walked out before you. They don’t kid with the classic one hair style only.

Estábamos de vacaciones en oporto,y nos decidimos a acercarnos a verlos(nosotros tenemos una barberia en madrid) y pensando en que somos del mismo gremio pues podríamos intercambiar opiniones y charlar un ratillo,unas fotos y no molestarlos,aunque estaban con un solo corte...bueno pues entramos y nos presentamos...me sentí como si entrara en un garito lleno de gente,ignorada completamente..a ver chicos de fígaros...hay que ser un poco más simpáticos!!! Sois un poco setos!!!
Son una mala copia de schorem...la barberia parece mucho más grande en las fotos y vídeos que en la realidad...en cuanto a lo que vi de cortes...dejan mucho que desear...en fin que menuda desilusión con esta gente...

If you like waiting for an hour, only to be forgotten about while they serve two other people that arrived after you then this is he place for you. These guys are useless. They finish a cut and then go and hang out the back for 20mins despite a long line of people. They can’t even be bothered to take notice who sat down to wait and in what order. They ruined my day and put me in the worst mood, I didn’t even get a cut I was sick of waiting and told I wasn’t even next. Avoid.

Fiquei colado na rua a admirar o espaço por fora, depois entrei e parecia que estava noutra época, que tremenda aventura.. Espaco aberto, bem decorado com bom ambiente e boa musica. Equipa e staff 5 estrelas. Cortes de cabelo impecáveis e únicos, com alta qualidade de corte. O corte de barba é uma experiencia única que qualquer homem devia experimentar pelo menos uma vez na vida. Barbeiros altamente qualificados que deixarão o cabelo, assim como a barba, muito bem cortados, com um acabamento impecável. Depois de um corte na Figaro's Barbershop, o vosso cabelo fica impecavelmente bem cortado. Fácil de pentear e de "arrumar" dando um look super clean e altamente profissional. Depois de experimentar não acho q o serviço seja muito caro, pois é uma experiencia unica de corte de cabelo/barba com alta qualidade de corte. De todos os espacos onde ja cortei o cabelo, a Figaro's é sem duvida e de longe o melhor. Parabéns à equipa, pelo espaco e pelo serviço 5 estrelas! Continuem o bom trabalho que têm feito!

Não há melhor sitio para uma pessoa poder cortar o seu cabelo..mantendo toda a sua tradição de barbearia clássica, com um serviço muito acima da média do que vemos praticado pelo nosso país, é o sitio certo para poder passar uma hora em que juntando uma cerveja, uma boa conversa com o barbeiro, torna-se sendo dúvida um sitio a voltar a visitar regularmente.

Barbier à l'ancienne, réservé uniquement aux hommes. Les femmes n'entrent pas. On est plongé dans une ambiance des années 20. Les produits utilisés et vendus sont de qualité. Seul hic peut-être, le prix des prestations mais vous ne serez pas déçu et vous voyagerez dans le temps !

I walked by this shop while I was in Lisboa and just the look of it made me want to go in. I'm glad I did it was one of the best experiences I've had at a shop, I got one of the best haircuts I've ever had and they made me feel like a million bucks. 35€ is hilariously overpriced for a cut. I mean ONLY a cut. The cut itself is nicly done with precision and patience, but for 35€ I expect atleast some hair washing before and some eyebrow trimming, aswell as prestyle products. Also I expect coffee or tea, instead I was only offered beer or water. And I expect a nice talk, not 1 1/2h of silence and orders. Music and haircut itself was nice tho, but for that 20€ would be the maximum chargeable. EDIT: The haircut isn't that good.

Péssimo atendimento! Por norma o meu marido é cliente do Figaro's Downtown, desta vez decidimos ir experimentar o Figaro's Rosemary. Quando finalmente o meu marido se sentou na cadeira entra um homem claramente sob o efeito de estupefacientes a falar alto, abre uma torneira ao balcão, lava a cara e o cabelo mexe nuns quantos produtos que estavam em cima do balcão e sai. Nenhum dos empregados lhe dirige a palavra quando claramente aquela pessoa era estranha ao serviço. Quando o meu marido pergunta o que se passou ao barbeiro, este responde em inglês que não fala português com um sotaque claramente português. O que o barbeiro se esqueceu é que 20 minutos antes o meu marido tinha-lhe perguntado (em português) se tinha tempo de ir fumar um cigarro e o senhor percebeu perfeitamente e respondeu em português. Viemos-nos embora de imediato e não tencionamos voltar. Acho inadmissível um estabelecimento que cobra tanto por um corte de cabelo ter este tipo de atendimento.

Waited 20 mins with 2 barbers working. Finished their cuts and both went off into the backroom and never came back. I basically walked out of there. Living off some legacy of having cut Beckham's hair. Whatever!!

I walked in and was told I needed to make an appointment online but that they still had appointments available. I made an appointment online, ran some errands, and returned 30 minutes before my scheduled appointment. All three barbers started cutting some other people's hair around the time of my appointment. I wasn't too worried as I figured they were just a bit behind schedule and it wouldn't be too long. About 30 minutes after my appointment time, I asked how much longer it would be and let them know I had a time commitment in 45 minutes. They said it was not possible for me to get my haircut in that time. They were unable to give me a simple haircut within an hour and 15 minutes after my appointment was scheduled. I would never return to this barber.

Le cadre vintage branchouille, des coiffeurs consencieux, un résultat barbe et cheveux parfaitement satisfaisant. 1 heure trente pour une coupe, serviette chaude, froide sur barbe nickel, là où on tousse c'est les 50 euros de prestation : 30 la barbe, 30 les cheveux , 50 si on fait les deux. It’s a beautiful space and I was excited to get my trim here. My head was already bald and I wanted to razor cut my scalp and trim my beard. However at the end I was shocked that the service costed me a whopping €50! The staff was friendly, the place clean and the job well done. However, €50 is really too much, and that too without informing me of the costs beforehand.

The best place to maintain both beard and hair, very high quality service, decent price, expert work with high quality products, I have traveled to many countries, but this is one of the best haircuts I have ever had.
I suggest a visit to the toilet which has a big surprise.
The place is as unique as the staff. Very attentive to the customer, who is really the king.

Worse haircut ever. And impolite.
I asked for a specific haircut when I arrived. They didn't listened and did a STANDARD haircut without listening to my needs. When I complained they said that I was wrong and that they know better. They also told me "don't worry it will grow again..."

Really cool barbershop with highly skilled personnel. They mostly do walk-ins, and appointments cost extra. They really take their time for you, which also means that waiting times can get pretty substantial. For some reason I didn't get a towel shave with my 'full service', but no use crying over spilled milk.

Absolute awful place for a haircut. Big queues and the staff just do non stop talkIng without cutting hair not realising people are waiting. One of the guys literally was taking 5 minutes just to comb someone’s hair. The cut I had was awful with different lengths at the top and not a proper blend. Asked to shape up and answer was we don’t do that. Every barber in the world I’ve gone to will shape up so you don’t have uneven hair from the top of your forehead and down to your slide burns. Personally it’s the pictures of the shop and the free beers I think which brings people in.

1) too much talking, not enough concentrating, didn't get the cut i wanted. Close but not close enough.

2) snipped off a whole chunk of my ear! Soo much blood all over, my barber (some 21 year old punk who calls himself Tommy Gunn when it’s probably Antonio) still tried to cover it up and lie and say nope no blood. He turned my chair around so I couldn’t see it in the mirror while he wiped it off with a few towels, which I caught from the corner of my eye. And still no price reductions. 25 euros for a cut with 21 year olds actin classy, nah doesn't work that way.

If you want a good hair cut DO NOT come here! I was so happy I had finally found a baber shop but now I wish I wouldn't have even gone there. I left looking the same all they did was do a simple fade (cut the bottom of my hair) and that's all and they still charged me 25 ! They said all they do is classic hair cuts not new styles ?? What does that even mean? I don't understand how this place is still in business .

J'ai trouvé cet endroit sur le net et ma surprise en rentrant dans cet endroit fût de taille ! Maintenant ils acceptent les femmes mais j'ai eu l'impression d'être transparente ! The only place I want to get my haircut! They know my hair and beard and know how to make it look good! It looks good both on the day with all the fancy stuff they do but also looks good in my everyday life when I just wake up and leave my home without caring much about my hair. Nice inside but service is poor. I made my beard with shave here. I discuss what I want before barber started. Shape of my beard was exactly opposite of what I want. I told that I growing my moustache and to not cut it and he cut it about half. Shave was really uncomfortable, I felt every single hair not shaving but crushing, and my skin was red. During shaving all I want to was finished. Worth to see when You are close, but not for service. Sorry Boys.

One of the most exciting barber experiences I ever had. Beautiful location, great ambience and awesome Barbers. Freindly welcome with a cold beer (great gesture in hot Lisboa!) and an impeccable service.
The shave was pure indulgence and real craftmanship. They were even so kind to make pictures and a short video for my blog.
I can recommend this barbershop without limit.
Every bearded guy who visits Lisboa must go there to have a wonderful barber experience.

Went to Lisbon for some holidays and after a quick search on popular places I came across to Figaros Barbershop. After I discovered that they are very recognised within the barber world I decided to give it a try. Had the best haircut and hot towel shave in my life. Sad I can’t find a place with such quality in London. Shoutout to Fábio and his boys, will definitely come back!

If you want to look presentable and decent, don't come in here. They'll do whatever they want (you won't be able to see until it's done as they rotate the chair away from the mirror) and it's usually the 50s slicked back hair style, which is the only one they know how to do and looks terrible in most men nowadays.

De parfaits petits machos, qui parle de "la femme" devant eux comme si elle n'existait pas et disent qu'elle doit attendre dehors 45minutes. Heureusement, nous sommes allés ailleurs où nous avons été parfaitement accueillis et où j'ai pu rester dedans, bien entendu.
Je ne recommande absolument pas ces hommes, leur machisme et leur impolitesse.

Don't be swindled by them offering you a beer or whisky; heed this warning, this was far and away the worst haircut I've ever received. I asked for a simple haircut, even providing a picture of me with shorter hair, and the barber completely ignored all requests. They will try to trick you with the zany decorations and music, but do not waver, as they stubbornly stick to a very specific aesthetic which works for very few people. If you want to look like a cartoon bootleg John Travolta from 1978, this is the place for you. Otherwise, steer clear.

Estava a procura de um lugar de confiança. Porém fiquei extremamente decepcionado com o atendimento.
O barbeiro fez sem me perguntar como eu queria exatamente.
Antes de cortar ele perguntou como eu uso e falei que era pro lado. Ele finalizou para trás, pedi para secar para frente e ele nao quis, alegou que só faz corte clássico e que eu mesmo podia arrumar como de costume. Que tivesse dito isso antes de fazer, no momento em que perguntou como eu uso.
Por fim, o corte nao ficou exatamente como eu queria, por falta de diálogo. Ambiente bonito, porém o que não significa qualidade!

Entrei neste lugar com a minha mulher grávida para experimentar o corte de barba mas foi me dito que o espaço é reservado a clientes (homens) e que a minha mulher. Ao poderia estar ali e por isso fomos embora...inacrenitavel tal coisa no século XXI na cidade de Lisboa...nunca mais...

Come for the experience, not for the cut. Don't come in a hurry either. It can easily take 2 hours before you are done. Also the barber just did whatever he felt like, not at all what I asked for. Worth it if you have the time, money and if you are open to a surprise haircut.

My favorite part of the experience...when a girl walked in and was told that only men are allowed. I was served a whiskey immediately after. This was not my best haircut....but the vibe and experience was the best Barbershop experience I've ever had!!! This is a must stop for any dude visiting Lisbon....and hell, for the guys that are having a rocky go in Lisbon. Advice: Go here to escape your babe!!!

The place looks exactly the way a real barbershop should look like, however, the barber messed it up. I could not see what he was doing since he turned the chair around, and after 10 minutes it was too late. When I asked to try to make it look it more like I wanted, he said that's what I asked for and had to pay 25€. I've never felt so bad about my haircut. Could understand tourists laughing at me outside.

One hell of a barber shop. Great place. People are amazing. John "Snow" and João Rufino are two great barbers I strongly recommend. Of course everyone thee masters the art. If you wanna cut your hair and you like classics that's the place.

Sensationell! - mein erster Besuch dort, die ca. 30 Minuten Wartezeit waren schon für das Zuschauen beeindruckend, interessant und kurzweilig. Da arbeiten noch richtige Typen mit herz und Verstand.
Das Erlebnis: Kopf rasieren und den Bart rasieren/ anpassen eine Wohltat und Entspannung pur. Hochprofessionelle Arbeit mit großer Umsicht und Ruhe ausgeführt und für eine gute Stunde in eine ganz andere Zeit versetzt. Eine großartige Wohltat!
Die angewendeten Präparate, die Einrichtung und die Musik waren für mich ein Genuss.
Englisch ist dort selbstverständlich und 45 Euro - so wie auf der Website beschrieben - ein sehr fairer Preis.
Ich kann es wirklich jedem Mann empfehlen.

Un super Barbier niveau style et originalité et travail.
Mais la note s'explique par:
- le prix exorbitant 45€ rasage de tête et du visage, à peine un coup de tondeuse sur la barbe.
- le manque de sympathie du barbier (impression d'être moqué en portugais)
- l'impossibilité pour ma femme de rester sur place (très très grand salon) et de prendre une ou deux photos de la deco pourtant exceptionnelle
- et enfin obligation de prendre un rdv alors qu'il n'y a personne qui attend. (4 barbiers et 2 qui bossent).
25€ aurait été le bon prix. Laisser ma femme rester assise sur un banc sur lequel il n'y a personne aurait été sympa; et prendre 2 photos du salon aussi. Dans ce cas 5 étoiles aurait été ma note.
Par conséquent je ne conseille pas. L'impression de payer l'emplacement et la deco est trop présent.

Ambiance and beer while you wait saves the place. Otherwise quite a poor haircut with a lot of pulling and tugging from what it seemed like high as a kite barber. Nice guys, just not worth the 35€ haircut.

Wonderful old time setting and no women allowed is a hype. The beer was a treat! But after the barber shook my hand introduced himself he then ignored my request. It seems they only know one type of cut "classic" with no exceptions. This is the shortest my hair has been since I was 12 years old. My wife laughed and I regret visiting the place.

I went here to have my beard cleaned up in early March and it grew in beautifully. This was at the new location on the edge of the Castle Hill. I had an English speaker take care of me. Service was very good and attentive. I think I was a bit of a unique case as I neither wanted a full shave or a classic cut. However, they know what they're doing and if in Lisbon again I would return.

First of all anyone reading this should know that anything less than a 5 star review is because someone misunderstood what this place is about; which in my opinion it's unfair to leave a poor review based in the fact that you didn't do you due diligence.
This is a male only establishment!
I walked I was great by smiling faces offered a beer, was sat down immediately even after arriving at a time that would force them to stay later than usual for having accepted me.
You come here because you're looing for an experience. Is it expensive? I thought so at first but after having been here it's litteraly cheap for what it is. Anywhere else you its going to be 10-20 euros for a haircut and shave which will be over in less than 30 mins and they will cut it like you have wanted it your whole life. Here they took there time I was on the chair (and on could nine) for just over 2 hours.
Come here for the kind of cut you've never had, don't be in a rush. THIS IS AN EXPERIENCE! Be patient! You might not get the same cut/shave you've had your whole life but you will be satisfied with whatever the end result is.
Great staff and beautiful shop. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. And the price is secondary. Enjoy yourself, you're on vacation!

I've had my haircut at some of the best shops in the states. Coast to coast literally. This is straight up the best haircut I have ever gotten!! I've been to Hawleywoods in Newport Beach, CA and these dudes are better! No bs. I made an appointment and paid the extra 10€ and it was worth it. I don't drink but enjoy a cold beer while you wait, get your haircut perfectly and then get an awesome straight razor shave. Peace and hair grease.

Disgusting behaviour!
All the barbers at figaros made the father of my son and our son (3year old) wait for more than an hour and half because apparently no one wanted to cut a 3 year old hair (even though I was assure they would) but no one had the courage to say that so they just decided to ignore that fact that they were there attending people that had arrived after my son, who by the way waited very patiently!
To summarise, we left without a hair cut and without a single apology!
That is not how you treat people. To me, that was very unprofessional and super disrespectful.

Great attention to detail, love this place. Can be busy in afternoons. Since each trim can take over 45 minutes, you might be waiting there for a while. They soften it by offering you a beer while you wait.

very good experience, old fashion old school haircut, NO cheesy children, breast feeding women, it is purely men saloon, u have a beer, I wish I could have a cigar too. while waiting u see the barber taking his time.he would cut a gents then goes for a break then come back to continue, it is some how like slow cooking you enjoy the ritual of it. It is 25 euro but worth the experience I have been 2 in matter of month and happy with every aspect of it.I wish to have bought some products (Pomade, Wax) from them but the display was always empty.I have contacted them on face book and they replied what I have to purchase to maintain the look.

Worst experience ever. Its like you go back 200 years in time. They told my boyfriend I was not allowed inside when we already set down. I had to wait 30 minutes outside en when I asked if I was the only woman who felt this was ridiculous, I was being laughed at. Never go here!!! Also too expencive and not even worth the money.

Tellement dommage pour un si bel endroit que le "patron" allume les touristes avec des prix majorés... Pour moi c'était bonus de 10€ ce jour là, la blague...35€ au lieu de 25€ sous prétexte que j'avais réservé! (Juste passé une heure avant pour qu'on me dise de repasser une heure plus tard...)

Simplesmente a melhor experiência capilar da minha vida. Barba e cabelo impecavelmente cortados, sem conversa de cha-cha, num ambiente de tranquilidade e bom gosto, num estilo "Spa com Testosterona". Produtos de grande qualidade. Fiquei cliente e lá voltarei, certamente com regularidade, mais do que não seja para fazer a barba que é um momento único. Acho curioso que tanta voz se tenha levantado quanto à política da casa de não permitir a permanência de mulheres no estabelecimento (entram à vontade). Curiosamente não vi essas mesmas pessoas incomodadas com a política dos ginásios VivaFit que não permitem a inscrição de homens....Enfim...Publicidade de graça para o estabelecimento ....Bem merecida por sinal. Gente jovem, que apostou na qualidade e diferenciação. Parabéns.

Who's not going to like a barber who offers you a beer as soon as you walk in? Although somewhat pricey, it was an experience. My husband did this as a kind of bonding experience with a good friend. Not formally a fan of having a shaved head, (because it's a hassle enough to shave your face) after this, hubbie regularly shaves his head and I love it. Thanks Figaro.

Terrible experience. There's seems to be a no woman/children entrance policy but there's no sign at the Barber Shop, Facebook or even the website. Travel 300 kms to make a surprise to my husband and only found out this policy when already inside the Barber Shop. They allow us to go inside, me with broken foot and my 10 months old baby and only inform us we couldn't stay inside when we already settled in.

The ultimate hipster barber in Lisbon devoting 45 mins to your haircut (25€) - and that incl. a free beer. Even if their haircuts are from 1920-1950, their no-women policy is a bit odd (outdated).
