We stayed 3 nights at this new hotel and used points. The staff couldn't have been nicer and we enjoyed the free breakfast each morning. However, there was no alarm clock, no dresser of any type for clothes storage and no bar soap, shampoo, or conditioner. Just a "bath/shampoo" bottle. We specifically didn't pack any of these items as every other IHG hotel we've stayed in has supplied these. Vending machines with snacks and soft drinks would have been appreciated since there was really no place to get food without asking for it at the front desk. Location was good but not sure I would stay here again because of the lack of amenities.

Estive hospedada neste hotel no inicio de junho. Tivo uma excelente experiência já que deparei-me com instalações novas e equipe treinada para servir-nos da melhor maneira possivel. Quarto moderno com camas confortaveis... senti-me em casa! Café da manhã com variedade de pães, sucos , frutas e doces locais. Delicioso!
A proximidade com o metro é ponto importante a ser tocado... muito perto!
Recomendo e espero voltar em breve

Hotel liegt Zentral und doch ruhig. Moderne zeitgemäße Einrichtung. Zimner vielen USB Steckdosen reichlich WiFi Kapazität. Personal freundlich, Frühstück könnte mehr Auswahl sein. Kaffeeautomat mit Eigenheiten Cappuccino und Latte werden immer mit Kakao zubereitet. Trotzdem ist dad Hotel empfehlenswert. Preis- Leistungsverhältnis ist OK.

The hotel was great. The common areas and the staff were amazing. This hotel was on a nice quiet street. Not a lot of noise. There is a nice park across the street that has a little bar that is open. The only real issue was they did not get my room clean until after 4 pm

Very nice hotel. The rooms were very nice and I got to sleep very easily in the comfy bed. The breakfast had no hot food but the selection of pastries and fruit made up for it. The staff were all very nice and spoke English really well.

As instalações do hotel são novas, quarto, banheiro! Porém, na minha estadia a garagem estava em obras, na rua é impossível lugar para estacionar o carro e então solicitei ajuda para retirar as malas do carro, pois o veicula estava em fila dupla, porém fui informada que NÃO HÁ esse serviço no hotel. Meu marido então, largou o carro na rua e retirou as malas do carro e deixou na porta do hotel. Então, solicitei alguma ajuda para subir com as malas (final da viagem de 14 dias pelo país, última parada Lisboa) e tbm não tem colaboradores para isso!
Ou seja, aquele estressa logo no início da estadia .... pois então subi eu com todas as malas segurando a porta do elevador com uma ... enquanto meu marido dava uma volta no quarteirão para não sermos multados ....
Pois bem, devolvemos o carro porque no hotel com o carro e nessa rua definitivamente não era uma boa opção... adiantamento a entrega, teríamos 2 dias em Lisboa antes do nosso regresso.
CAFÉ DA MANHÃ: simples e com sucos artificiais industrializados, caso você não tenha incluso o café da manhã sugiro que como fora, eu mesma dispensei no último dia, porque realmente não gostamos ...
As instalações são boas, como sai cedo e volta tarde, pode ser uma opção! Porém, sem carro! Há metro, uber, etc.

Excelente estadia. Funcionários simpáticos e sempre dispostos a ajudar. Quarto muito confortável, cama e travesseiros de óptima qualidade. Casa de banho muito higiénica, funcional e bem iluminada. Pequeno almoço variado e equilibrado. De fácil localização e perto do metro, táxis e autocarros.

Hotel tout neuf près de deux stations de métro, direct de l'aéroport et qui vous mène au centre ville. Le personnel est cordial. Chambre impeccable. Petit déjeuner copieux mais bruyant car il n'y a pas de séparation avec le lobby. Des restaurants à proximité.

Stayed one night. Enjoyed the perks as an IHG member. Very close to the metro. Nice breakfast included with stay. Staff was very friendly and helpful giving directions. This is a new hotel so everything is in great condition.

As it was a new hotel, still missing some things. Room was ok, staff good and food for breakfast average.
Bad thing was that taxi didn't know where the hotel is, the adress appeard on map wasn't correct (they said so).
For the price we paid it should be better, but still recommend it.

Great hotel but it doesn't have a restaurant yet because it is a new hotel. Although they do provide breakfast, the spread is not huge. The items are pretty limited.

Our stay was cut short due to the coronavirus pandemic and we had to get out ASAP. The staff were amazing and helpful arranging the ride to the airport on short notice and going over and beyond to call another Holiday Inn near the airport in London because I had a 21 layover. We stayed at another Holiday Inn for much needed rest before getting back to the States. Thank you again for making our short stay excellent! We will definitely be back!

Beautifully designed, spotless, new hotel in a perfect location with a lovely breakfast included. Great area to walk around with many restaurants and shops nearby. Close to the metro for quick travel into older part of city. The staff are friendly and helpful and we will definitely book here again.

From the moment of my arrival the hotel staff were really friendly, knowledgable and attentive. I was even able to check in 2 hours early without giving them any notice. The room was incredibly clean and the bathroom was incredibly clean and shower was amazing.
Selection for breakfast was varied from day to day and staff kept all food well stocked and also left you alone while you were eating.
Checkout was also really easy too. I would definitely stay here again if I visit Lisbon again in the future.

My stay at holiday Inn Express was pleasant and enjoyable.
The price was not expensive including breakfast. i was surprised all the food options available at this breakfast.
I had a wonderful restful sleep each night.

Location is good n room is clean. We stayed 4nights in hotel n the bed is comfortable. The I lay draw back is no refrigerator in room that can put fruits in n especially no electric water kettle that we ve to to bar to get hot water every evening . Fortunately, staff is friendly to offer this service n helpful.

Excellent location for travel around Lisbon sights (3 metro lines)
Good continental breakfast (more non-sweet options would be nice, but otherwise nice)
Facilities as described and seen on pictures
Option to leave luggage for later flight, even after late check out (at 12)
Professional employees and cleaning, ability to iron and use hairdryer.
Cons:
No extras and amenities - but non are advertised so you know what you are getting. It's a great option for travellers discovering Lisbon and looking for a hotel experience.

Visitamos Lisboa 8 a 10 vezes por ano, vimos está nova unidade hoteleira e decidimos experimentar. Tudo acima da média e impreco aceitável. A política para quem tem filhos é excelente. Só faltou local para estacionar as bicicletas no exterior. O pequeno almoço é bom.

Excellent choice in a quiet neighborhood. I was checked in by a Spanish lady that was very friendly and informative. Breakfast is rather simple but enough if you nor too picky. New building, new room, very nice bathroom. Not noise even though it's located in a location with some traffic.

The hotel was clean and checkin was efficient and friendly - USB port in room meant I didn’t have to drag out my converter - concierge spoke English and provided excellent recommendation for dinner - no airport shuttle but 5 minute walk from metro which was only 1.50 euro- this was a wonderful intro to Lisbon after a very long travel day

This hotel is in a great location in Lisbon. Many restaurants within walking distance and a pharmacy just around the corner. Easily accessible to many means of public transportation. Very attentive staff and easily understands mutiple languages. Only about a 15 minute taxi ride to the airport and fairly cheap. I will be coming back to this hotel on my next trip to Lisbon

Sehr sauberes und sehr ruhiges Hotel mit hervorragenden Betten. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig, die angebotenen Speisen frisch und ansprechend presentiert.
Das Personal war aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Die Lage ist etwas dezentral, was uns aber nicht störte, da man in etwas 10 Minuten mit dem Bus oder der Metro in der Altstadt war. Wir würden dieses Hotel jederzeit wieder wählen.

Comfortable Holiday Inn Express hotel, with all the benefits you may expect from this well-known chain. The location is nice, many Lisbon places of interest can be easily reached by foot. A lot of restaurants and even supermarkets near the hotel, too. If you prefer not to walk, there is the "metro" not too far away. Breakfast is quite good and for all tastes. Actually the only criticism I would have is the blandness of the rooms (standard contemporary design, a bit boring). You definitely do not feel "at home", but hey, that is what chain hotels are known for. A comfortable and quiet hotel nevertheless.

Can be reached by metro from the airport. Has restaurants and supermarkets like Lidl and Pingo Doce nearby. Walking distance to some landmarks. New hotel. We got a free drink as an offer. The breakfast was good...loved the chocolate tart. There is a seating outside too. Ample space downstairs if you wish to sit there. The rooms upstairs are a bit small, but good size if you are just sleeping and traveling. No locker or fridge in the room, which is missed. Good heating or air-conditioning in the room. No disturbance as our room was facing the inside (not much of a view ,only buildings). Would suggest to take the all day metro card and explore from there. One can walk upto Observation Deck Park Eduardo VII ( approx 13-15 minutes some uphill from the hotel) and then roam in the metro. It was mentioned that you can ask for toothpaste,( not sure about a toothbrush) sewing kit, sanitary pads at the reception. There was a local street market on a Thursday( next to Açúcar & Canela ,a restaurant). Helpful staff, who also spoke English. Will definitely go there again.

Exceptional front desk staff especially Joann (?) She answered the phone right away,drove the van to pick us up at the airport,(helpful for travelers ). Rooms were clean,beds a little firm. Bottle water at vending machine downstairs. Bountiful breakfast included.

The place is close to the metro and easy to reach - even if a little anonymous and hidden.
It is not the Grand Hotel but it was clean and quiet.
My room was not big and the corridors and the elevators were small too.
It looks like they built a new hotel in an old building so the dimensions are limited.
Anyway, the breakfast was great.

The staff was super friendly and courteous, and the location of the hotel was perfect for our meetings. It was almost exactly equal distance from both of our meetings.
If you are driving and plan to park at the hotel then be aware that the garage entrance is a few meters to the left of the entrance to the hotel. At the time of this review, it is a gold garage door.

Schönes neues modernes Hotel. Recht zentral. Mitarbeiter freundlich und hilfsbereit. Frühstück ist inklusive im Hotel sowie das Internet. Zimmer ist ein Stadthotel, also nicht viel platz für Koffer. Leider hab ich den Fitnessraum vermisst aber sonst war alles gut.
Nice new modern hotel. Quite central. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast is included in the hotel as well as the internet. Room is a city hotel, so not much space for suitcases. Unfortunately I missed the fitness room but everything else was fine.

Unkomplizierte Unterkunft ohne Schnick-Schnack. Frühstück ist umfangreich. Keine Minibar die nachts brummt.Wir waren im Januar dort, daher ging es ohne Klimaanlage. Achtung: Balkontüre öffnet, Balkon fehlt. Nicht schön im 6. Stock ;-) Auf Kinder also achten.

Very nice, economical hotel. Parking is tricky but once you figure it out it's no problem. Staff were SUPER friendly and helpful. Our luggage was lost on KLM and 3 different staff members bent over backwards to help us try and get it back as quickly as possible. They all spoke English very well, and again, were just SO nice and helpful. We were even allowed a later than normal late check out so we had time to go shopping for new clothes since our luggage didn't come for 2 more days after we left this hotel. I would absolutely stay here again. Top notch.

Quarto muito confortável, adorei a política em relação às toalhas, no entanto entristeceu me que tivessem recolhido as toalhas e substituido por novas quando deixámos as toalhas penduradas de modo a não serem substituídas..

The Hotel is an hour walk from the river where the touristattractions are located. But the price compensates for that.
A taxiride from the hotel to the river is about 8 euro.
Nice and clean hotel just recently built. Lots of tv-channels including some Free movie- and music-channels.

Excelente hotel, un personal muy eficiente y colaborador, así mismo muy amable, las instalaciones del hotel son muy buenas y está en perfecto estado, la ubicación es inmejorable estaciones de metro muy cerca, y muy buenos restaurantes en los alrededores, una zona residencial y de oficinas de buen nivel y muy segura. Un par de sugerencias ubicar cajillas de seguridad en la habitación y extender el bufete a huevos de varias formas ejemplo: revueltos

This new hotel is in a perfect location in a quiet residential street, with good access to local bars and restaurants, as well as the Metro and buses for connections both to the airport and centro, while being a manageable distance from the hustle and bustle of the busier city centre. The hotel is fresh and modern and everything one expects from a Holiday Inn Express. The breakfast was above the average of other Holiday Inn Expresses with lots of fresh local pastries and custard tarts, all of which are frequently replenished by the attentive staff who were very efficient at clearing and cleaning tables as guests left. The quiet courtyard at the back of the hotel is ideal to go outside and enjoy a drink and chat. We look forward to returning to this hotel on my next visit to this amazing city.

Perhaps too far out of the centre for us. It took a few days to orient the hotel position in relation to the city. Directions for visits were not the best eg to get to Sintra go by train to Cascais and then take a taxi!

I dont really stay in american chains while traveling abroad, but this one met too many of my requirements. Great staff, nice location (close to the airport and Oriental station, if you plan a train ride to Porto), nice rooms, pretty good free breakfast.

Great service, friendly staff, great room, decent transport options. Breakfast was pleasant and filling. There are some nice cafés a short walk away, good restaurants nearby. Lidl is close by too. Shopping mall nearby with a good food court. It's pretty much a straight shot into town by bus and plenty of scooter / bike rental and good infrastructure for these services too which was surprising. I would return here next time in Lisboa.

I was in Lisbon for only one night but really enjoyed my stay at this ‘express’ hotel. Staff were very welcoming and extremely helpful, rooms were basic but very clean. Location was also a plus as it was pretty central with good metro connections. All in all an enjoyable experience which I would repeat in future visits to this great city.

I enjoyed our stay at this Holiday Inn Express. The hotel has a great location and is easily accessible by public transportation to city centre and airport. The staff is helpful and friendly. The hotel itself is new and in excellent condition. Overall great experience. Obrigado!

Impromptu hotel stay for an earlier return flight, having stayed in Express by Holiday Inn hotels before I thought it might be an ok hotel for a one night stay I wasn't disappointed.
Not an obvious hotel to find its in a side street, but on entering I was amazed at the brightness and the modern decor.
The staff were extremely smiley and helpful and quickly processed my booking.
When I got to my room I was very impressed with the modern decor, the bed was extremely comfortable with lovely crisp bed linen , the bathroom was very modern the towels were lovely and fluffy, the shower was great with hot water. The only thing I would say is that the shower leaked and made the floor and bathmat wet.

Brand new hotel. Room is smaller than average North American hotels but is average European hotels. Fast wifi. Designed for business traveller. There is only one chair in the room. Your partner has to sit on the floor or on the bed.

As comodities são adequadas à época em que vivemos (exemplos, tomadas USB para carregamento de equipamentos, Smart TV com internet, Internet WIFI grátis sem complicações de introdução de username password).
Pequeno almoço adequado, ainda que não extremamente completo.
Serviço de atendimento competente.
O quarto em si é suficientemente grande, dispõe de uma mesa com cadeira ergonómica para servir de mini escritório caso seja necessário.
Tem comodities interessantes como ferro de passar, o secador de cabelo não está fixo no WC, mas sim junto ao ferro de passar, em armário no exterior do WC.
Genericamente, e face à relação preço/qualidade/proximidade da área de interesse, é um local a utilizar novamente.

I was given a card key to a room with guests in it. This was after having been given a card that didn´t open the door. I went to the front desk and complained that I couldn´t get into the room. They made sure I could get into the room and walk into the legitimate guests.

セッテリオスのバスターミナルから716・726のバスで、1本Av. Marquês de Tomarのバス停から2分でした！地下鉄駅も徒歩6分 良い所は、①交通の便良く②新しく清潔 ③ソフトの対応も良かったです。
悪い所は、①道を歩いていて、素通り、しそうだったので、横から見える看板が欲しかった。②冷蔵庫無かった。（パントリーに、行けば氷嫌な顔せず大量に、貰え 流しに入れビール冷やせた）
（1Fでもビールは売っていた） ③連泊したが タオル交換が一部だった です 料金と相談して予算範囲だったら、又泊まりたいと思います

Das Personal ist freundlich. Das Zimmer ist Modern und gut eingerichtet. Das Bett ist bequem. Das Badezimmer könnte besser geputzt werden. Auch ein Glas zum Zähneputzen durfte zur Verfügung stehen, dass gibt es sogar bei Ibis Hotel. Das Hotel ist gut und werde nächstes Wochenende wieder dort übernachten. Ich kann es absolut weiter empfehlen.

Metro Saldanha ganz in der Nähe , daher gute Lage für Städtetrip !
Aber auch in der Nacht ein wenig Fluglärm , Flugzeuge fliegen sehr tief über die Stadt beim Landeanflug .
Frühstück in sehr guter Qualität (Pastel de Nata) , aber halt auch sehr übersichtlich .

Ein sehr günstiges und überraschend sehr tolles Hotel für den günstigen Preis. Für mich wären die Zimmer gut, aufgeräumt und sauber. Das Personal ist bei jeder Anfrage sehr bemüht und super Nett. Hotel sieht sehr modern aus. Die Lage ist zum Zentrum etwas weiter weg, was nicht schlimm sondern gut ist, Metro Stationen gibt es genügend und die Lage ist gut, eine sichere Gegend und eine für mich wirkende Office Umgebung mit vielen Restaurants.
Sogar das Zimmermädchen war sehr nett und half uns bei Fragen.
Frühstücksauswahl hätte etwas besser sein können, aber es war definitiv OK.
Ich werde nochmals vorbei schauen, sollte ich nach Lissabon reisen.

Das Hotel ist neu oder frisch renoviert - alles ist in sehr gutem Zustand. Einzig im Bad fehlt eine Stange für die großen Handtücher, wir mussten sie immer über die Duschwand hängen. Das Personal ist freundlich und alles sehr sauber.

Como meu vôo era cedo e o pessoal estava a ficar o café da manhã, eram 6:00 hs AM, pedi para tomarmos um café o funcionário que colocava a mesa, me disse só um café, foi qdo peguei um pão amanhecido para comer, o recepcionista, totalmente indelicado me disse vc vai ter que pagar esse pão, eu disse Pq? se o café da manhã está incluso, daí começou uma discussão, o recepcionista começou a falar algo e eu também, daí interveio uma pessoa que estava no escritório e tirou o recepcionista que estava discutindo, fique tremendamente irritado antes da longa viagem que iríamos fazer, após um mês de viagem não merecia uma despedida dessa. Sai nervoso e extremamente irritado, finalizando ai com desentendimento com minha esposa, por causa dessa triste despedida de vosso hotel.

The property is in a quiet location but far from the attractions. You need to take bus and metro to commute to the old town. This hotel has everything for a good short stay. Quiet location, with good sound isolation, so a good sleep is guaranteed. Fir business travelers the room could have a better table to work at. Also a fitness room would be interesting.
The hotel is the 4th generation of HI EXPRESS, and has the useful gadgets in the room. To make it complete, a working Netflix app on the smart TV would be nice. Good and fast working internet.
Very friendly, helpful and professional staff.
Breakfast room is standard for HI Express, but not accommodated for groups. Therefore when groups are in the hotel breakfast is overcrowded.

I stayed here for 3 nights, I arrived into Lisbon on an early flight and I know I wouldn’t be able to check in until 15:00 in the afternoon. I arrived at the hotel and was greeted by the reception staff very warmly. I asked if I could leave my luggage here and at not blink of an eye lid they responded with of course. I was really happy about this. When booking I set a preference of an early check in. I wasn’t expecting it to be fulfilled to be honest as I know how hotels run especially if they are fully booked. The receptionist then asked me if I would like to check in now as my room is ready. I was shocked as I wasn’t fully expecting to be able to check in so early so I massively appreciated him doing that for me. The room was lovely and new, kept very clean and a very comfy bed. Breakfast was perfect for a holiday inn express, a good amount of selection for all. I would highly recommend staying here again.

Direct pour l’aéroport <10 minutes de marche jusqu’à la station puis rendu à l’aéroport en 30 minutes pour 1,33€. Entre 50-60 minutes pour Belem en transport en commun. A pied du musée Calouste Gulbenkian et du magasin El Cortes Ingles. Restaurants autour. Petite épiceries aussi.

This hotel was our first experience on a short stay break. Very modern, clean, and with comfortable rooms, good breakfast and bar, was exactly what was wanted. Located near fabulous restaurants [the locations of some are on a map provided by the hotel]. With two Metro stations within 10 minutes stroll, access to Lisbon centre is no issue. The staff were very helpful, we shall be going back there.

The hotel is almost brand new and is ideally placed to get pretty much anywhere in the area, except when we picked up the only driver in Lisbon who couldn't read and took us to the wrong holiday inn, insisting that this is the one. Nope, it wasnt but we got out and walked, so because of this we mentioned that the address could be printed in the key card case for this reason. The rooms are well designed with a big bed and we had a floor to ceiling window that opened a few inches, but the road was noisy. There is NO drawer space so most of our clothes were folded on a shelf, there is a small hanging wardrobe and some places on the walls to hang coats etc. There is also no towel rail in the bathroom to hang a wet bath towel so ours were just draped over large shower cubicle and the toilet to dry off, there is a wall peg but not very useful. Breakfast was good and plentiful and staff were helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

Os funcionários são muito gentis e o hotel é elegante e funcional. Nota 10 para a limpeza dos quartos e o uso das coisas é intuitivo, o cartão da porta funciona sem dar trabalho ao hóspede, a água quente não demora a sair do chuveiro, o elevador é rápido. O ambiente na recepção é claro e amplo. O quarto silencioso para o descanso. O pequeno almoço ( café da manhã) poderia ter mais opções, entretanto, tudo o que é disponível é muito saboroso. As mesas são limpas rapidamente durante o café da manhã assim não fica louça suja por muito tempo nas mesas e os lugares são rapidamente disponibilizados. Foi uma estada excelente para mim.

We stayed there August 14-18 and had 2 rooms for my husband and I and our 2 sons. Good location, clean rooms but my best experience was with front desk SADIA! I hope I'm spelling her name right. She was fantastic!! Gave us recommendations for restaurants, sent me to a hair salon and helped me tremendously when I lost my CC and she allowed me to call from her phone to cancel my card..... Will absolutely come back.

The hotel was brand new and opened for a few months prior to our stay. It is not far away to Saldanha metro station, which takes you directly to the airport. Great dining and shopping opportunity in the neighbourhood. Since the place was new, several taxi drivers had difficulties in finding the hotel. As reservas forama feitas pelo site Hotel.com e debitadas no meu cartão de credito
Porém, ao chegar no hotel, foi solicitado que eu fizesse um pagamento como garantia de 67,65 Euros que seria posteriormente extornado.
Hoje são 26/08 e esse valor continua como debito no meu cartão de credito
Como a hospedagem foi paga diretamente no site da hotels.com, peço que o valor seja extornado em meu cartão de credito

The hotel has two metro stations within a 5 min walking distance. Rooms are clean, modern and comfortable. Overall a great experience. Staff are very welcoming. Nothing to complain.
It will be better to have at least some free water bottles as a minimum in the room.

Very happy with our hotel choice. HI Saldanha is like a new hotel still, room and bathroom in mint condition, staff very helpful and quick. Very close to a metro line and can be anywhere in 15 minutes. Also has a bunch of city bike docking stations around and a Lidl nearby. No fridge in the rooms but there's access to an ice machine. Breakfast is nice, bar is very reasonably priced. A great stay overall.

El hotel está alejado del centro totalmente, hay que utilizar transporte si o si y en la web pone que unos 15 minutos.
La información por parte de la una de las recepcionistas fue pésima y totalmente contraria al camino más corto y un trato bastante desagradable.
El desayuno queda un poco escaso y en un lugar muy de cara al público de entrada.

Siamo stati in questo Hotel dal 18 al 25 giugno nella camera 612, negli anni siamo stati diverse volte negli Hotel della catena Holiday Inn ma è stata la prima volta in un Holiday Inn “Express”.
Questo Hotel è in una buona posizione, a 4 minuti a piedi dalla stazione metro Saldanha e a 15 minuti di metro dal centro città Av. da Liberdade. La struttura è nuova quindi le camere e i bagni sono ottimi, ottima la pulizia, la zona è tranquilla con diversi ristoranti disponibili.
Consigliamo qualche miglioria affinchè la struttura possa meritare 5 stelle:
1)la colazione pur essendo compresa nel prezzo è da migliorare, sia come qualità che come varietà, soprattutto per i clienti come noi che rimangono nella struttura per 7 notti.
In altri Hotel 3 e 4 stelle abbiamo trovato colazioni comprese nel prezzo della camera decisamente migliori.
2)la nostra camera, come tutte le altre dell’hotel, era sprovvista di frigo bar , cosa da rimediare in quanto inaccettabile nei mesi più caldi.
Mancava anche la safty box in camera, comunque erano disponibili 5 safty box in una stanza vicino al front desk.
Molto disponibile e professionale l'uomo del front desk un po’ stempiato, che al check out ci ha chiesto l'opinione sul nostro soggiorno. Abbiamo riferito che la struttura è buona ma per diventare ottima è necessaria migliorare la colazione e aggiungere nelle camere un frigo bar.
La sua risposta è stata un sorriso per dire che aveva recepito le nostre osservazioni, mentre la sua collega con i capelli lisci e neri ci ha risposto in modo poco gentile che se volevamo un Hotel migliore dovevamo andare all’ InterContinental Lisbon che questo era un Holiday Inn Express.
Alla fine considerando il rapporto prezzo/qualità consigliamo questo Hotel, ma è indispensabile che nelle camere ci sia il frigo bar.

We stayed here just for one night prior to flying out the following morning. The entire party wished we had stayed here during the earlier segment of our trip through Portugal where we spent 4 nights in Lisbon. Next time we hope this hotel has availability.

Holiday Inn Expresses are basic accommodation with a no-nonsense approach to design and functionality. This new property in Lisbon meets these criteria and is a perfect base for someone visiting the city for tourism on a budget without skimping on quality. A friendly staffer greeted me at reception and within minutes I had my (air conditioned) room after a short block-and-a-half walk from the metro exit on a hot summer afternoon. (Though the hotel uses the district name of Saldanha, use the Sao Sebastiao stn, end of the airport line, and exit via the stairs closest to the last cars of the train and not the one that connects to the blue line. You want to walk toward Ave Marques de Comer.)
The building is new and blends in with the facade of the street, there's no blatant signage but a sliding glass entry door. The hotel is identified by a discrete logo plaque next to the door, so look for a modern grey stone building. Rooms are compact but full function with lots of electrical and USB outlets.
There is a small bar adjacent to reception and the dining area used for breakfast. The inclusive breakfast is your basic European spread of cold cuts, cheeses, juices, breads and pastries, cereals and boiled eggs. Unlike North American HIXs that's the only style of eggs available and there's no sausage or bacon. However, what there is are lots of those delicious Portuguese egg custard tarts!
This closeness to the metro (red and blue lines) makes it ideal for exploring the city and getting from/to the airport. As well, there is the nearby Calouste Guibenkian art museum and main branch of el Corte Inglese department store. Along the adjacent Ave Conde de Valdom are a full range of small restaurants with outdoor tables and a shaded promenade.
This is a most economical, safe and clean pied a terre for a short stay in this charming city. Nothing to complain about.

Perfect new hotel! The staff is extremely friendly and professional. The breakfast was delicious, and ready before time. Coffee machine was A+. Rooms are small but has anything you need, including many USB outlets to charge. AC worked efficiently. All in all I would highly recommend this hotel for the price point. It is located a tad outside but Uber costs next to nothing, so we took it everywhere.

Für meinen Kurztrip habe ich mich fuer dieses schoene und sehr neue Hotel entschieden. Die Oeffentlichen sind sehr schnell zu erreichen und man ist schnell in der Altstadt, hat jedoch Ruhe vom Touristentrubel.
Mit einem Hotel der IHG-Kette kann man nichts falsch machen.

This new hotel Holiday Inn Express : Lisbon - Plaza Saldanha is nicely located with easy access to many shops and restaurants/cafes north of City Center. Close to the big mall and main train station. Typical HI Express breakfast and rooms were a bit small. Hotel staff had excellent service!

Great hotel. Room is spartan but it's enough. Bed is comfy, decor and washroom are new. Breakfast is wonderful, with Portuguese pastries, cereal, cheese, ham, yogurt, breads, jam, coffee, tea, fruit and more. Well staffed front desk too. Location is good, close to the subway (easy access to the city and airport) and train station (easy access to Sintra).

All in all it was a good stay at the hotel. The staff was very responsive and very polite, just that they cannot do anything to the smell in the bathrooms. We have even asked the staff to have our room changed, which they did, and yet the same issue remained. A visit from a plumber would help them isolate the problem. Maybe have this raised to the hotel manager.

Die Lage des Hotels ist nicht so attraktiv. Die vielen Flugzeuge machen Lärm und die Zimmer auf die Strasse sind laut. Die Zimmereinrichtung ist ziemlich auf das Wesentliche reduzeirt so, dass im Zimmer für zwei Personen nur einen Stuhl gibt, für die Kleider keinen Schrank oder keine Ablageflächen. Die Matraze im Bett ist zu hart, deshalb mussten wir das Hotel wechseln. Das Personal ( vor allem männliche) ist sehr zuvorkommend, hilfsbereit und verständnisvoll.

サルダーニャ駅に至近で食事や買い物にも困ることはなさそう。近所にセルフサービスのランドリーもあって、長期の滞在にも便利です。
エドゥアルドⅦ公園やアマーリアロドリゲス庭園にもほど近く、徒歩でも見どころの多いところです。
部屋は広々としてきれい。夜も静かで居心地も良かったです。

We enjoyed our stay here but the first impression was really bad due to extremely rude night front desk staff. Front desk lady failed to greet us or even make eye contact. Stared at her screen and demanded “passports!” Through out our stay none of the staff made us feel welcomed. Rooms were very clean and spacious and beds were comfy but the breakfast is a waste! It’s more like dessert and junk food spread than a breakfast. Even the fresh fruits were stale and rotten. Coffee was good but not available through out the day. The server (David) was extremely kind and helpful. Went out of his way to find the ingredients of some of the sweets to make sure our kids (who have nut allergies) would not have a reaction. Overall a great place to stay except for rude and unprofessional front desk staff( especially the evening staff)

Faltou água, garrafas de água para vender aos hóspedes durante a minha estadia. Estando eu com uma criança pequena que toma mamadeira, isso se tornou crítico. A recomendação de um dos membros da equipe do hotel para que tomássemos água da torneira me incomodou demais. Conheço Portugal e seus sistemas de saneamento. Não se comparam aos dos países nórdicos para que se possa tomar água da torneira assim sem maiores preocupações.

Room was very new and nearby the hotel were a number of restaurants. Also a shopping centers 5 min walk away. Unfortunately, we were given room 114 on 1st floor just at the main road and were very noisy with cars passing by even late night, people talking loudly after restaurant, and the garbage trucks came at 4 am.

Pros: Helpful and attentive staff in the reception. They could not do enough for us both at check inn and check out. Getting us our room early and holding our bags until later in the day after checkout. The Rooms are comfy and nice.
Cons: Room cleanses and breakfast. Our room was not very well cleaned and the breakfast experience was dismal. There were more tables occupied by empty plates and dishes than there were available. Sadly it took the staff a long time to replenish food that had been eaten so we spent a good while waiting to eat.

Hemos pasado unos días muy agradables en este hotel de Lisboa.
El personal muy amable y siempre dispuesto a ayudar en indicaciones de líneas de metro, sitios de interés etc.
Las instalaciones muy limpias y cómodas.
El desayuno bueno aunque echamos en falta algún revuelto de huevos o salchichas.
Pena de la terraza exterior que están habilitando porque a la tarde o noche se hubiera estado muy a gusto.
Pero si volvemos repetiremos porque hemos estado muy bien.

Fast alles top. Bei den Zimmern gibt es einige, die mit dem Nachbarzimmer verbunden werden können. Ich hatte so ein Zimmer: Damit war ich bei den netten Spaniern nebenan mittendrin. Es war laut. Frühstück ist nichts für Menschen mit Glutenunverträglichkeit. Morgens gab es für mich Haferflocken mit Obst. Jeden Tag.

Good hotel for a city trip. It’s not directly in the city center, however easily connected to subway stations or uber is also a cheap option. Since the hotel is new, they still need to figure out some processes. At the breakfast for example, some options weren’t filled back up again quickly enough or sorry dishes remained on the tables for quite some time. Beside that, the whole hotel is modern and clean. No luxury experience, but comfortable for a city trip.

Se nota que el hotel Holiday Inn Saldanha está nuevo y flamante en todos los sentidos. La habitación está decorada con muebles muy prácticos y funcionales, con detalles imaginativos. El desayuno es muy variado, con zumo natural y solo eché en falta la posibilidad de comer unos huevos revueltos con bacon. Quizás mejoraría la ubicación del bufet para que no coincidiera con la recepción. Lo mejor, sin duda, la amabilidad del personal de recepción, tanto diurna como nocturna. Su único problema es que al ser ta nuevo, los taxistas de Lisboa no lo conocían y teníamos que guiarlos nosotros mismos. Pero eso, obviamente, no es culpa del hotel.

The hotel was accessible to metro, shopping areas, restaurant or tourist spots. The staffs are wonderful and I truly enjoy my stay. With an exception of the false alarms, which woke me up twice during the night, of course this is not the staffs fault as some irresponsible guest doesn’t close the door when outside smoking.
For a new opening hotel, you guys are doing great! Congratulations!!!
