Was very disappointed because the photo I wanted [that you see everywhere] wasn't to be had. Cranes, new construction, etc. have pretty sullied the skyline, and pretty much ruined that photo op for me on this trip. Maybe next time :(

I like this view point. It is the end station of famous tram 28. We came at night (No people), and later in the evening ,(crowded but the light was great)
After you take the tram or enjoy walking down the small streets in direction to Lisbon Cathedral and watch azulejos decorations on the houses.

Отличные виды с этой смотровой на, наверное, самый атмосферный район Лиссабона - Альфаму и залив с круизными лайнерами и мелкими корабликами. Отсюда же можно сделать и живописные фото с одной из достопримечательностей города - двадцать восьмым трамваем. На котором, кстати, сюда можно и доехать.

Sì tratta di un belvedere dal quale si può osservare una parte dell'estuario e del porto. Si trova a pochi passi dalla Cattedrale e dal Castello di San Giorgio.

From my Hostel I had a bit of a hike up to this location, but it is also accessible through many forms of local transport. There is a bar and restaurants open from 10am to about Midnight, but I was more interested in being there for the sunrise. From this location you get an excellent eastern facing view that includes not only the water, but a vast view of the Alfama district. It was not very busy when I went, a couple love birds enjoying the view and some photographers as well. I would highly recommend getting there for a sunrise before you leave Lisbon.

Mirador con vistas estupendas de toda la ciudad. Queda a medio camino entre la catedral y el castillo, un paseo que se hace fácilmente, o tambien se puede realizar en tranvía.
En la fecha de nuestra visita (marzo 2019) es uno de los miradores más recomendable (junto con el de Graça) ya que el de San Pedro Alcántara y Santa Catarina están cerrados con vallas que no permiten disfrutar las vistas

Miradouro iconico com vista espectacular sobre Alfama, parte da colina da Graça e agora tb sobre o novo porto/cais de Cruzeiros provenientes de todo o lado do mundo, apresenta ainda a estátua de um dos Santos padroeiro de Lisboa, S. Vicente de Fora, que não é o mais aclamado pelos cidadãos de Lisboa, mas tem muita história a contar, como por exemplo o símbolo de Lisboa, mastro com 2 corvos de guarda.... ficou curioso!?

Go there! Several times if you can! We walked the hill on our first day in Lisbon and were amazed. We went back every opportunity after that. Stop, have a beer, and enjoy the view.

Lugar con unas vistas preciosas. Se puede ir utilizando el tranvía 28, o andando, ya que está muy cerquita de la catedral de Lisboa (a unos 5 minutos) y esta a su vez, de la plaza de comercio. Hay una terracita al lado en la que podéis tomar algo.

avventuratevi per le vie della città alla scoperta di questi luoghi incantevoli dove è possibile ammirare una vista della città stupenda e nei vari miradouri ci sono diverse prospettive.. Ottimo momento per sentirsi in pace con se stessi senza pensare a nulla ma ammirando solo la bellezza del panorama. Nei pressi ci sono anche bar e inoltre si può arrivare anche con il tram 28..nei pressi c'è la cattedrale di lisbona

공짜로 이런 뷰를 즐길 수 있다는 것 자체가 알파마에 와야 하는 이유. 대신 팔찌 파는 형님들 많아요 조심하시길. 위아래로 비슷한 뷰의 카페가 있으니 그쪽가서 여유롭게 보셔도 좋습니다.

È la più celebre vista sull’Alfama e sul Tejo, uno degli angoli più famosi e fotografati di Lisbona. Particolarmente suggestiva la vista ad anfiteatro con il troneggiare delle chiese, delle cupole e dei monasteri sui tetti delle case che digradano verso il fiume Tejo. Sul piazzale antistante è la statua del patrono di Lisbona São Vicente che reca nelle mani lo stemma della città. Il nome del luogo deriva da un portale dell’antica Cerca Moura, le mura arabe. All’epoca si chiamava Porta do Cemitério perché dava accesso ad una necropoli, con la riconquista cristiana fu ribattezzato con il nome attuale. Intorno al miradouro si trovano numerosi caffè, dai quali si può godere la bella vista. Consigliato al pomeriggio, tramonto, e sera.

너무 예쁜 전망대!!!! 리스본 시내 풍경을 감상하셔도 좋구요 낡은 트램길 따라 트램구경 하거나 골목 사이사이를 구경해보시는 것도 좋아요. 단 전망대 자체는 소매치기가 굉장히 많은 곳이라고 들었어요. 낯선 사람이 말걸면 가방 단속 단단히 하시구요. 가방 꼭 앞으로 매세요!

Miradouro das Portas do Sol is where you find a hillside opening and nice viewpoint into the buildings of lower Alfama district, the river and landmark Museo Militar and São Vicente de Fora Church in the distance.
There is a statue of San Vincent at this small public space as well. However, it is the views that entice you to make a stop here while spending time in the Alfama District.
You can reach this location on foot by walking up Rua do Limoeiro past Sé (The Cathedral) in route to São Jorge Castle up the streets from this viewpoint.
Note: Nearby you can also visit the Jardim de Castello, Iglesia de Santa Luzia and separate viewpoint from this location. It just a minute or two away by foot and was a preferred stop for us due to the more peaceful garden grounds and the blue-and-white tiled murals you can view here.

리스본 오시면 여기 꼭 가셔야해요...
트램길 따라서 올라가다보면 철조망 쳐져있는 전망대가 나오는데 여기말고 한번더 올라가면 기둥같은거 사이에서 볼 수 있는 곳이 나와요
여기서 보셔도 되고 여기서 한 번 더 올라가면 바닷가에 덩그러니 놓여있는 전망대...뭐라 설명해야하지 거기가 진짜 예뻐요!
성조르즈성에서 내려오는 길에도 볼 수 있으니
저녁에 에그타르트 포장해와서 에그타르트 먹으면서 야경보는거 진짜 추천드려요

It’s a nice viewpoint if you’re in the area. It’s not that high up to get overall view of the city. It does give you a nice view of Afalma. Public washrooms are available just down the stairs. There are better viewpoints in Lisbon. This is for tourists so be mindful of pickpockets and that the cafes are priced for tourists.

Il Miradouro Portas do Sol, situato in Alfama, si affaccio sul quartiere più antico di Lisbona, sopravvissuto al tragico terremoto del 1 Novembre del 1755.
Tra i più belli e i più visitati della città il Miradouro Portas do Sol é l'unico insieme al Miradouro de Santa Luzia che si affaccia su tutto il quartiere arabo.

Um dos miradouros mais encantadores de Lisboa. Venha aqui assistir ao nascer do Sol sobre o mar da Palha. Nessa altura o miradouro está vazio, ou quase, e é mágico. Mas o pôr-do-sol, com a luz a apagar-se sobre o casario de Alfama, também é inesquecível. Sobretudo no Inverno, em dias luminosos e transparentes.

Ein schöner und ruhiger Ort, um die Aussicht über die Dächer von Lissabon und den Fluss Tajo zu geniessen. Aufgrund der vielen Touristen gibt es allerdings zahlreiche Strassenverkäufer, die einem Selfie-Sticks, Sonnenbrillen etc. verkaufen wollen. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Aussichtsplattform mit tollem Ausblick auf Lissabon, den Hafen und die Kreuzfahrtschiffe. Der Platz wird von Touristen stark frequentiert. Hier haben sich viele Straßenhändler angesiedelt. Straßenmusiker und natürlich auch Taschendiebe gehören zum Alltag. Unbedingt hingehen anschauen und genießen !

Lots of construction going on blocking the view a bit but still a nice place to hang. Walk a bit further into the nearby alleys to find a nice non-touristy place for lunch or get a drink from a nearby mini market and sit on the public benches.

Uma das sete portas da cidade árabe. Situada próxima à Igreja Santa Luzia, esta praça tem um mirante que oferece uma bela vista sobre as casas históricas de Lisboa e sobre o rio Tejo. O local rende ótimas fotografias de Lisboa e uma boa pedida, após visitar a Igreja, é descer sua escadaria e apreciar suas paredes ricamente grafitadas.

展望台からはリスボンの街とテージョ川が一望できます。トイレには有名な落書きもあり、周辺の壁画アートも楽しめます。
トラムの停留所があり、観光に適した28番トラムが次々とやってきます。(いつもの満員ですが)
一休みするカフェもあり、サン・ジョルジュ城もここから登れます。
リスボン観光の拠点でもあります。

An amazing view point! This is my favourite place to view the city. There are also cafes and shops nearby where you can have a sip of coffee while enjoy the beautiful view. This is not the highest point to see the city, but definitely the most open place with no trees blocking the view. Higher recommend to go when at Lisbon

A very nice view point of the city - to get there just follow the tram line passing in front of the Cathedral (as opposite to following the route offered by google map... asking locals, they advised me to change route); actually, following that route, you pass through another lovely view point. The view is indeed very nice. Great to put it in a tour from the cathedral to the Nacional Pantheon (not very far from each other).

You are rewarded with a fabulous view if you take the historic Tram 28 up the steep streets to Miradouro das Portas do Sol. From here you can look out over the red-roof tiles to the Monastery Sao Vicente da Fora. Maybe enjoy a coffee and a pastel de nata (egg custard tart) in a nearby cafe. Busy with fellow tourists but an invigorating view. The tram is inexpensive but watch your belongings

Highly recommended place to visit in Lisboa. The best view of the city in my opinion, atleast in comparrision of the other viewing points i visited. There are a couple of great places to take photos and to take something to drink. We were there during the sunset and it was truly beautiful. So take your time and reflex and enjoy your trip.

Outstanding view of Lisbon. Much better than Sta Lucia which is just a few meters away as it's much less crowded and the fence longer so it's easy to get a good spot even when there are more people there.

Está junto al mirador de Santa Lucía. Las vistas son las mismas, añadiendo que le ves desde abajo. Siempre hay algún grupo o solista tocando música. Es muy agradable.

Un des plus beau endroit pour avoir une magnifique prise de vue sur le quartier de l'Alfama ou sur le Tage.

The walls here are covered in Portuguese history. If you have anyone around you to translate it for you I promise it will be time well spent and maybe a way to meet some locals. Definitely recommend.

Great view, and now there's a tiny market with so much to see. And there are massages! I try and I totally recommend. Very kind and with good technics.

Excellent view over the river! Right now there is a small market, for all your memorabilia, and besides a massage spot right there! Its so relaxing to make a break in visiting the city and recover energy :) And cheap!

Beautiful views of Alfama and the river. One of the stalls in the small market was even offering massage which was very welcome after our walk around the castle! Great place to relax and have a cold beer and take in the view.

Largo das Portas do Sol é um arruamento da cidade de Lisboa, que pertence à freguesia de Santa Maria Maior, no bairro histórico de Alfama. Deriva o seu nome da antiga Porta do Sol, integrada na cerca moura de Lisboa, que existia neste local, arruinada no terramoto de 1755.
Do Miradouro das Portas do Sol, entre vários pontos de interesse, podemos observar a Igreja de São Vicente de Fora e todo o Bairro típico de Alfama que se estende por diversas ruas estreitas e sinuosas até ao Rio Tejo.
O Miradouro das Portas do Sol é um espaço tipo varanda. A vista magnífica da cidade de Lisboa, na sua zona oriental combina na perfeição com a vista sobre o Rio Tejo.

Food not interesting at all, didn't taste of anything and very expensive. The view was great and everything, but I had hoped for more tasteful food and drinks. The Strawberry Daiquri drink was too thin, and contained more ice than actual alcohol and taste.

Uno dei posti più panoramici di Lisbona. Fino al tramonto si gode una vista meravigliosa della città, che scende dall'Alfama fino al Tejo. Una visita a questo punto panoramico non può mancare...magari raggiungendolo con il mitico ELECTRICO 28 (che ferma proprio lì vicino).

Lovely place even in winter. It was a little chilly but got a blacket and enjoyed the view. Definitely worth the visit when in Lisbon, and you can take a Bondinho to get there!

Situa-se no Bairro Histórico de Alfama, no Largo das Portas do Sol, numa das zonas mais pitorescas da cidade de Lisboa.
O miradouro não se encontra num local especialmente alto mas proporciona uma excelente enquadramento de Alfama é uma boa panorâmica do Rio Tejo e Margem Sul do Tejo.
O espaço não é particularmente belo, chão de tijoleira com gradeamento de ferro, como uma rampa destacada da encosta de Alfama.
