Great place to stay, room spacious and clean but a little dated but this would not put me off going back again. Snack bar is run by a lovely family, food is very good and plenty of it. Pool is maintained very well. Would recommend.

Asked for to be accommodated as my partner has back problems and was given the disabled room which was the furthest away from the pool and other amenities

Well I'm still at Tropical sol it's an interesting apartment In albufera portuagl there's a fun room and cafe on bottom floor and there's a massive pool

Amazing place to stay.When visiting Portugal we wouldn't stay anywhere else. The accommodation is just immaculate always clean and gas everything you need for your stay.The staff are always very helpful just can never do enough for you.We are going back again in 2019.

Brilliant large apt. Clean near to restaurants, bars etc, well equipped, nice bar in hotel, and pool bar does great food, reasonably priced, can recommend these apartments.

This is a very warm welcoming hotel staff are extremely friendly and will do anything they can to make your stay very enjoyable. The pool is excellent and the baby pool is a perfect for the little 1's lots of space to sun bathe or if you fancy a game of tennis there is a tennis court too, pool table and out door gym too. Very clean and well set out and food and drink are very reasonable and very nice not had a bad meal and the chef always ask's how our meal was as he loves his job and the food he prepares to a very high standard and you do get alot too. Fantastic place for young families as they stick to the rules if hen or stag parties are held at this hotel which there hasn't been many when I have stayed as it is a hide way hotel and you will find many regulars that return to this hotel as it is very well loved by many who have been for the last 7 years as its my second time in the last 3 years. Very recommended hotel to stay at.

Great Hotel, nice location, short Taxi ride to "Old Town" we were paying 6 Euros...
Staff really friendly,
Pool bar awesome, family run, cheap, great quality food and drinks. 2 Euro for a Pint, 5 Euro for a great breakfast
Will be staying here again next time in Albufeira

On holidays with family including 7 & 11 yr old boys, extremely clean complex, apartments are so big and spacious, pool is lovely although the beds are always reserved well before pool opening time. This hotel has been fabulous the staff are friendly, the WiFi is bad in rooms even after paying but would definitely stay again.

Great staff, very friendly and helpful. Very clean. Our room is a 1 bed apartment which is a really good size. Pool snack bar, family run with a great snack menu and good selection of drinks, happy hour 5-7 = large beer, €1.50. Superb value for money hotel. Main beach is a 20 minute walk otherwise I find it hard to fault

Muy buen hotel en Albufeira. Está muy cerca de una de las principales calles de marcha de la ciudad, se puede ir andando. Piscina muy buena también. Totalmente recomendable.

Hay aspectos positivos como la piscina y su entorno: todo muy cuidado y limpio. En cuanto al apartamento mucho que mejorar: decoración anticuada, no hay cafetera, tampoco congelador, Internet es de pago. Cuatro estrellas impensables en otros países.

Hotel room was really large and well laid out. Kitchen area had two cooking rings and microwave if you wanted to cook. Plenty of utensils and crockery. Bedrooms are spacious and very pretty. The shower was really good. Overall one of the best apartments we've stayed in.

Lovely little hotel, rooms are well equipped. Our room was one that faced the pool with a terrace ac in the rooms was nice. Definitely good value for money.

The Tropical sol was great one of the best hotels i have stayed in .families have gone there for years the poolside cafe was 5 star.you could get as good a meal as anywhere in the resort and cheap i would recommend this hotel to anyone. Brian.

Bottom of the swimming pool is very abrasive resulting in my kids getting cuts to their toes and feet, they had to be treated twice. We had to buy protective swim shoes for them.
If you are going bed and breakfast the food in minimal and low on quality.

Habitaciones muy completas, limpias y con bastantes accesorios en la cocina... El bar de la piscina bebida barata y calidad... Piscina limpia y bastante bien para los niños... Localización bastante cerca de una calle de ambiente de bares... La única pega por decir algo el aparcamiento es en la calle y cuando llegaba por la noche era difícil de aparcar. Sin lugar a duda para repetir.

Lovely holiday acomidation , clean and well presented . Could do with a little up dating . But overall good . From reception to cleaning ladies all staff very friendly and helpful . Out door bar good nice staff and good basic food . Indoor bar good ,friendly atmosphere and excellent prices for a hotel bar

Num local recolhido/recatado perto da Strip da Oura/Albufeira mas longe o suficiente pra não incomodar. Um lobby muito prático com acesso para a piscina.
Poderia ter mais sinalização para facilitar quem o procura pela primeira vez!

Fantastic place to stay This hotel is just perfect. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Hotel is kept very clean every day.The apartments are very spacious and all have pool views. Hotel is in a great location just 5 minutes walk from the strip and about 10 minutes walk from the old town
It’s a fab place to stay. Check in was very quick. Accommodation, public areas, pool area etc kept amazingly clean Apartments spacious all with pool view. We were booked as self catering but had a few breakfasts in the restaurant at a cost of 7 euros. To be honest breakfast was ok but not that great. A nicer breakfast could be had at the poolside cafe for a cost of 5 euros. Lovely and freshly cooked. The family running this were brilliant.
The location is great. Not far from Strip if you like the Strip area but we didn’t hear any noise from it. A few nice bars, restaurants, SPAR, bakery and supermarket with minutes. We have stayed at many places in Albufeira, Montechoro, Paraiso, Forte do vale, KR Hotel, Paladim to name a few and liked them all. Have to say tho I think Tropical Sol is top,of our list ! We will definitely return.

Just got back from our second stay here and it's as good as ever. Our room was nice and clean with plenty of space and a top notch shower. The staff were friendly as ever and very helpful. Will stay there again.

Basic but clean. Two flatscreen tv's. All overlooking pool. Wee snack bar reasonably priced for food and drink. Cleaning on a daily basis. Nice location except for traffic noise

Very clean, rooms are very large and contain all basic amenities. Sun trap so no matter where you are around the pool you always get the sun

Lovely hotel in the old town with large comfortable rooms and balconies with pool views. Visited towards the end of season in November so it was quiet but weather was perfect. Have just rebooked again. Would highly recommend.

Fab hotel lovely staff. The snack bar was the best we have ever had food was savage, the family that run it are great(the 2 younger girls could try smile tho)! No entertainment at nite in the bar but maybe that was because we went in October! We had a 2 bed apartment was fab but the floors could do with a good brush especially in the bathrooms! A lot of the guests we got talking to had all stayed here before which is a great sign! we always do a big family/friend holiday in Spain same place every year but after us showing our pics everyone has agreed to here for next year. Can't wait to get back to tropical sol

Very pleasant and was happy that the staff can book trips for you and arrange it all. The beds were a little hard but the sofa beds were the most comfortable everything was clean was fine I'd recommend to anyone! :)

Great room overall, but it was filled with dead and alive cockroaches. If that sort of thing freaks you out, you might have a tough time enjoying the place.
This hotel is filled with people who sunbathe and drink all day long.

E' un hotel turistico, le 4 stelle sono forse un po' eccessive ma è sicuramente un buon 3 stelle.
Le camere sono disposte intorno ad una bella piscina
