Nous avons passé une excellente semaine dans cet établissement, au calme et pourtant assez proche du barrio alto comme du centre.De plus le tram 28 passe juste devant!!Nous concernant , le petit plus était le surclassement à notre arrivée(chambre plus grande), toujours des plus agréables.Il y a juste eu un couac à laéroport , nous avons attendu la navette un peu trop longtemps , ce qui nest pas du ressort du Dear Lisbon .Autre petit bémol,il y a un vaste espace bar/ salle de repos malheureusement non exploité .Pourtant cest très cosy et la déco est top, parfait pour siroter un petit cocktail!!En résumé, nous ne regrettons absolument pas le choix de cet hotel, allez y les yeux fermés. Et nhésitez pas à demander des adresses de restaurants ou autre au personnel.Sébastien

Es war super in dem Hotel. Es gibt nichts zu meckern. Mitarbeiter freundlich und hilfsbereit. Zimmer sehr schön und sauber. Frühstück sehr gut.Die Straßenbahn hielt direkt vor der Tür. Nachts war es ganz schön laut. Aber bei geschlossenem Fenster konnte man gut schlafen. Die Klimaanlage funktionierte nicht so gut aber die Temperatur war noch nicht so hoch. Also alles war bestens

Just a short note to say how much we enjoyed our stay at DL Gallery House !  From the US itself, the staff (Dmitri, Madelina, Ana....) took the time to write back in response to all our emails and answered all our questions by phone. From Lisbon airport, and back, it was a pleasure to meet Mr. Goncalo who is a wikepedia all by himself. Do listen to all his tips and words of advice!! The stay at the hotel itself was superb......most welcoming and friendly staff, very nice rooms, perhaps the best breakfast spread ever.  The front desk staff goes out of its way to ensure your comfort. Beautiful boutique hotel with big rooms and all the latest equipment (including a Nespresso machine in the room). The interior designer mixes traditional paintings and furniture with a modern twist. Mind the huge stairs which is the only way to get up in the rooms. We only stayed for a night but can only recommend !

Excelentes atenciones y habitaciones. Sólo que necesita un ascensor, un restaurante, y mejorar la consteucción de la escalera hacia las habitaciones, y alfombrarla. Es realmente un buen hotel de 3 estrellas.

Wonderful boutique hotel, we can’t wait to stay again! This was our first time in Lisbon and Dear Lisbon made it an excellent experience due to their EXCELLENT service, amazing location, beautiful and functional design, delicious breakfasts and comfy beds. The staff went out of their way to make our stay exceptional- we loved that they offered coffees and pastries on arrival, showed us to our room, and were very helpful with recommendations! The deluxe room we stayed in was very spacious and had a beautiful street view balcony, separate dressing area (loved this) and nice walk in shower. The room was very quite and dark thanks to the sound proofed windows and French doors. The location is terrific for good restaurants/cafes, shopping and cultural attractions. 5 minute walk from Mercado de Riberia and tons of concept stores on Rue de Sao Bento and in the Príncipe Reale area. The area itself is very safe and pleasant at night without the touristy feel.

Allt var superbra! Lugnt, välstädat, fina faciliteter. Personalen var otroligt vänliga och serviceminded. Läget var perfekt i ett lugnt och kreativt område med många intressanta verksamheter, bra restauranger och barer. Rummet var bra ljudisolerat och vi stördes inte av något. Vi bor gärna här igen.

Wir wurden in dieses Hotel umgebucht. Auf Anfrage bekamen wir ein kostenloses Upgrade und wurden kostenlos vom Flughafen abgeholt. Das Hotel ist klein, aber die Zimmer und das ganze Ambiente der Hammer. Frühstück ist total ausreichend und lecker. Frisch gepresster O-Saft und der Kaffee schmeckt auch. Das Personal ist sehr, sehr freundlich und macht den Aufenthalt noch angenehmer. Zur Begrüßung gab es ein Glas Wein. Lecker, so beginnt Urlaub. Die E28 hält direkt vorm Hotel, der Rest ist gut fußläufig zu erreichen. Beide Daumen hoch, wir kommen gerne wieder und können es auch nur empfehlen.

Spacious and stylish, very comfortable and clean, with polite helpful and friendly staff, very comfortable bed and one of the best showers I've ever used, excellent breakfast, no lift but a nice wide staircase, good location with a tram stop right outside, we got a complementary glass of wine on arrival and a hand up the stairs with our luggage.

Een hostel die perfect in orde is. Goed ontbijt, vriendelijke service, een propere kamer, goed internet... Ik vind vooral de locatie een grote meerwaarde aan de hostel. Het bevindt zich in een minder toeristische buurt waardoor je echt de gezellige kleine lokale dingen terug vindt in de buurt! Een aanrader om te logeren als je in Lissabon moet zijn!

Awesome hotel! Beautiful historic building in a very convenient neighborhood. One of the trolley stops is practically across the street. The staff was super attentive. Breakfast was great. This hotel is part of a boutique chain – we stayed at one of their properties in Puerto and loved it as well. Just make sure you’re athletically inclined if you get a room on an upper floor; there are no elevators in the historic parts of Lisbon and the stairs are killer.

Reception sent me to the back after seeing “cowork”. Went to the back and was shoed out by a lady, despite the space being completely empty, she wouldn’t let me order a coffee and sit to work.

This guest house is lovely with an excellent service. So we enjoyed our stay in Lisbon much more. Highly recommended.

Bereits der Empfang war herzlich und man fühlte sich sofort wohl. Wir erhielten zudem einen Upgrade und somit ein toll ausgestattetes Zimmer. Dieses verfügte unter anderem auch über ein Gäste-Mobilephone, welches wir während unserem Aufenthalt mit unlimitierten Internetzugang verwenden konnten. Grossartige Idee!Das Frühstücksbuffet war absolut ausreichend und das gesamte Personal immer freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir werden immer weider gerne ins Dear Lisbon Gallery House zurückkommen, wenn wir in Lissabon sind.

Amazing staffs!! Excellent services!! Clean and spacious room! One minute away from the 28 tram stop! Make sure you had your travel card "Viva Viagem" topped up before because there isn't anywhere else you can do so apart from Metro station! You can paid by the driver but most of the they don't carry much changes!

The location, the staff (Madalena, Rita and Dimitri are wonderful), the breakfast selection, the VERY comfortable beds, and the added touch of having access to a free cellphone for local use ...ALL of this makes Dear Lisbon Gallery House an exceptional place to stay! I usually book at the higher-end hotels .....but I am SO HAPPY that I chose Dear Lisbon Gallery House. I will be sure to return. A job well-done by the entire staff here. Obrigada!!!!

Muy atentos y amables. El desayuno no tiene un gran bufete, pero lo que tiene es suficiente y de gran calidad. Te invitan a un buen vino (u otra cosa) cuando llegas. No tiene ascensor, pero aun asi lo recomiendo.

Velmi příjemný hotel s velmi vstřícným a ochotnym personálem. Čistý, klidný hotel v blízkosti centra hned u zastávky tramvaje č. 28. Balíček namísto snídaně bohužel obsahoval pouze 1 malou namazanou housku s plátkem sýra a 1 banán. Nedostatečné! Běžné snídaně OK. Hotel je v historické budově a bohužel nemá výtah.

J'ai passé 5 nuits dans cet hôtel lors de mon séjour à Lisbonne dans la chambre Supérieure. Les chambres sont modernes, agréables et bien décorées. Une machine Nespresso est à disposition dans les chambres. Le petit déjeuner est complet avec des produits de qualité et il est possible de le prendre en intérieur ou en extérieur. Le personnel est souriant et à l'écoute. Je recommande !

On holiday with a friend, I found the place clean, elegant, with kind staff and in a good position. Great hotel

I stayed here for one night, communication was slow when I was emailing them and asking them questions about providing a separate invoice for both me and a friend that was sharing the room with me. I called the several numbers, one in the website and the other on the heading of the email, and no one would answer, until finally I asked for a number with the person that I was communication with via email. when I arrived at the property, Carlos at the front desk didn't smile to greet us, and I also never understood why I am usually the one introducing myself and asking people who work at the guest house's what their names are, shouldn't it be the other way around, shouldn't they be the ones to introduce themselves to me? arriving and speaking to Carlos about what I had previously requested, (the invoice) he knew nothing about, so the person I had spoken with who.confirmed that they would be able to provide two.seperate invoices had not mentioned anything about it to him, which he was not sure if they would be able to do, had I known I would have booked separate rooms at a different place. the place is nicely decorated with art, the location is ok, at least for me since I don't mind walking, it's about a twenty minute walk to the center, yes it closed to Baitro Alto and Chiado which is a plus, but that does not justify 164 euros for the night. back to the property, if you are in the upper floors, we were in the third, be prepared to walk up a steep drain case, good luck if you have heavy luggage. the corridors are covered in carpet, with notice able stains and also the room had carpet which I personally dislike. the room was small attic space, I had 182 centimeters and had to bow my head and walk on one side of the room to prevent my head from hitting the ceiling. the bathroom is nice, black marble and tile. Lisbon has been experiencing 42 celcius heat I have no idea why they would put a blanket and a duvet on my bed unless I intended to turn on the a/c to.maximum cold temperatures, the bed did not have a sheet other the that the one covering the mattress which I disliked. overall it was a nice stay, some nice decorations in the lobby a decent breakfast, nice location, however overpriced and lacking attention to to detail and communication. for a property to achieve five stars it needs to be flawless, they need to work more diligently for that.

The service was excellent. The location was OK. The bed was a double not so comfortable and the room small as small can be. op over place for us to fly out of Lisbon early and he next morning. Taxi came on time waiting for us downstairs with 2 sandwiches for the plane since we left too early for breakfast.

Amazing find of a hotel, very, very discreet so took us a while to find up the street, is very close to parliament as a notable landmark - it is much bigger than the pictures make out, far more spacious with comfortable chairs in the lobby. Great breakfast, pastries were delicious. We felt very "at home" as they even carried our bags to our room. It was a luxury considering the early travel would stay again

We have been in many hotels over the world, yet the care and friendliness of these staff in the hotel was unique and hard to top.The breakfast every morning was very fresh and abundant. The room and bathroom was big enough and had high ceilings. The hotel was overall calm and a great starting point to daily explore the city and surrounding of Lisbon.

More of a boutique hotel with a home feeling. Felt as if we were the only ones there. Nice breakfast and loved the location. Friendly staff. Luggage was taken to our rooms and brought down when we left. We had 2 rooms on the 2nd floor. No lift so if you cant climb stairs this is not for you. Im 69 and had no problems. Before we arrived I was contacted via email several times asking if I had any special requests. A driver was arranged for pick up and drop off to airport. Rooms are very large and so are the bathrooms. Great shower.

The location is excellent for strolling around the centre of Lisbon, with the 28 tram right outside the front door. The guest house has character, and the breakfasts are great.

Terrific location and building! The staff were very nice and breakfast was delicious with healthy options too! (only thing I would comment on is the coffee, worth having a coffee up the road as the coffee at breakfast isnt great but that isnt a big issue when the quality and selection of the food at breakfast is considered)

Ein charmantes Haus in sehr guter Lage. Leider kein Aufzug. Soll aber nachgerüstet werden. Wir waren im 3. OG untergebracht. Gepäck sollte vom Personal heraufgetragen werden. Da ließen wir fünf gerade sein, da nur Handgepäck. Vor der Tür Haltestelle der 28E. Gute Restaurants in unmittelbarer Nähe. Für uns definitiv alles positiv. Gern wieder.

Staff were very helpful but breakfast I found was a bit disorganised with food items running out and not being replaced quickly enough, the food I had was good.

Positives: This hotel is affordable, has comfortable beds, excellent staff, and a delicious breakfast. The lounge area is quite nice as well, with a fireplace. Negatives: We could not change the thermostat - No matter what we set it to, the temperature did not change. On the weekend, some neighbors staying at this hotel were playing loud music and the staff did nothing to help even though we asked them to do something. This hotel is somewhat close to the city center, but not as close as other hotels.

Кажется, что ты приехал не в гостиницу, а к старым добрым друзьям, которых не видел много лет, и они очень соскучились по тебе. Номер больше напоминает царские покои. Имеются разные косметические принадлежности, халат, тапочки, чай-кофе, интернет бесплатные. Любые проблемы, недоразумения, просьбы решаются незамедлительно. А промозглым ноябрьским вечером так приятно погреться у камина, который расположен в зале на первом этаже.

Ein perfektes Hotel für einen Kurzurlaub. Wir waren für 4 Tage im Hotel. Vom Zimmer über das Frühstück bis zum Personal alles perfekt. Die Betten waren die besten in einem Hotel in dem ich jemals war. Das Feeling im Hotel zwanglos und unkompliziert. Die Einrichtung funktionell, stylisch und modern. Very clean, nice hotel! The staff was super accommodating and had the room made up super quick hours before check-in because he was sick. Our room was super spacious and I loved that you could open the doors to let fresh air in through the balcony. A large bed as well!

Really welcoming stay & great location. The rooms were modern & very comfortable. Breakfast was tasty & nicely served.

Didn't really like it to be honest. The building is shared with a working office. It was more of of a town house than hotel. We were booked in as part of a conference so didn't choose the place ourselves. It took a long time to check in - we waited for over half hr from handing over our passports. The rooms are spacious and comfortable but had no air conditioning due to the system being turned off for the season. Subsequently we had a lot of noise from it being a shared building because we had to have our windows open and there was a lot of noisy people from the patio below. There was also significant plane noise. The staff didn't greet us when we entered or left the building, they ignored you whenever you entered the reception area. The security was indifferent. You can only get into the hotel with a door code(we weren't aware of this at I was locked out on the first night). Unfortunately I also noticed that our door to our room had been left wide open for at least half an hour with no one about when it was being cleaned. I had checked two times while waiting downstairs. It was inconvenient that we were given a physical key that we had to share. The building, rooms are great but the staff, are not.

We had the best stay at Dear Gallery Lisbon Sao Bento during our week in Portugal. It truly lives up to the boutique hotel standard. Tucked away in a small street in Bairro Alto, it is far from the hustle and bustle of downtown Lisbon but it is within walking distance to the main streets and attractions or a cheap uber ride away (€3-4)!Upon arriving we were greeted by a friendly receptionist and 2 glasses of wines! Our room was on the highest floor (3rd) and there’s no elevator, but one of the guys helped carry our luggages up! We got the trendy attic room (beware of the low ceiling, my husband is 6’2” and he bumped into the ceiling a couple of times), it’s very spacious for a downtown standard! Bed (2 twins put together to make a double) was very comfortable, bathroom was clean and had all the amenities. AC was running smoothly and quietly. TV had all the channels we could ask for. Delicious breakfast (hot & cold options) was included in the room rate, we definitely took advantage of that!All in all, we had an amazing stay at Dear Lisbon, it’s definitely one of the best hotels we have stayed in Europe. Highly recommended!!!

Ein schönes, geräumiges Zimmer mit einer kleinen Dachterrasse. Das Frühstück lecker. Wir genießen das frische Obst und die süßen Gebäck Verführungen sehr. Uns wurde ein Restaurant in der Nähe empfohlen, das sehr gut ist. Auch die E 28 hält direkt am Hotel. Perfekt!!! 100% empfehlenswert!!!

Great value and great location. Very spacious room. Carpet had some dirt/red spots (wine? hopefully not blood!). No elevator so need to keep in mind in case of heavy luggage. Location is superb!

Die Unterkunft ist sehr zentral gelegen. Durch die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel kann man jeden Punkt in Lissabon sehr gut und schnell erreichen. Die Touristenlinie 28E ist dabei aber selten pünktlich und meist überfüllt - hier eventuell auf die Buslinien umsteigen. Zu Fuß lassen sich viele Touristenattraktionen ebenfalls erreichen, durch die hohen Steigungen aber eher nicht empfehlenswert. Direkt in der Straße befindet sich zudem ein kleiner Supermarkt für notwendige Besorgungen. Das Zimmer war funktional ausgestattet und großzügig geschnitten. Das Bad war sehr geräumig und bot sämtliche Annehmlichkeiten, die man in einem 4-Sterne-Hotel erwartet. Tee und Kaffee gab es kostenlos im Zimmer, eine kostenpflichtige Minibar war vorhanden. Die Sauberkeit war anfangs in Ordnung, dennoch trotz täglichem Zimmerservice vor allem auf dem Fußboden unzureichend. Anscheinend wurde es gar nicht durchgesaugt. Das Frühstück erfolgt im Erdgeschoss und ist reichhaltig und bietet für jeden Geschmack etwas. Das Personal ist stets freundlich reserviert und steht bei Problemen stets beiseite.Alles in allem ist das Hotel sehr zu empfehlen.

A fabulous boutique hotel in the old section of Lisbon. The only drawback is no elevator, only stairs. Anyone with a disability would have difficulty getting to the first level. But great staff to accommodate your wishes, tasty breakfast buffet and comfortable rooms.

Wonderful hotel filled with charm in an excellent location. From the moment we landed in Lisbon we were met by the most courteous and professional people we have had the pleasure to meet, have'n taken a lot of city breaks in the past in various locations. Mr Goncalo who was recommended by the hotel to collect and return us from and to the airport we could not recommend more highly (for his knowledge and willingness to advise us on great restaurants and places to see / visit including the best time to avoid traffic delays on our return to the airport). We had a three night stay at the DL and the room in the hotel was well appointed and very comfortable. It is obvious that the staff take great pride in their work, as their eagerness to help and accommodate our every request was clearly given with a polite and professional manner. The breakfast and breakfast room was second to none in term of quality and setting. We would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel for your stay in Lisbon and would love to visit again. A big thank you to all at DL for making our stay one that will be remembered for many years to come.

I stayed one night at Dear Lisbon and was profoundly disappointed at the service provided. During my check in, I informed hotel staff that because I am a solo traveler with a larger suitcase, I cannot carry it down multiple flights of stairs on on my own and they assured me that the next morning (when I was scheduled to leave for the airport) someone would assist me to carry my suitcase. I called 10 times in the morning for someone to assist and no help answered. I then went to the front desk and no one was there. I then went to the kitchen who were kind enough to find an employee. The employee who carried my suitcase dropped it and t fell down multiple flights of stairs, putting not only herself at risk but also other hotel guests that could have used the stairs. She broke my $400 suitcase right before my flight so I had no time for a replacement. The suitcase was brand new before this trip and now I can no longer use it. I informed the manager and she did nothing, and I then had to immediately leave to the airport. This service is unacceptable of any hotel, let alone one that claims to be a 4 star hotel and charges fees at the level of a four star hotel. Horrible. Service. Never.

Das Hotel Dear Lisbon Gallery House hat eine gute Lage. Man ist schnell am Meer und auch schnell bei den Sehenswürdigkeiten.

Relatively ok. I think the place is a bit over hyped. The room I stayed was worn out given the stains on the carpet and side chair. They share the courtyard with a coworking space, and I got up few times at night because of the late night freelancers smoking / chatting in the courtyard. I think I’ve stayed in better boutique hotels in lower price points in the cities more expensive than Lisbon..

Das Hotel sehr schön, modern eingerichtet. Das Personal war sehr professionell, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Zimmer und Badezimmer sehr schön, sauber, gross genug für mich und meine Tochter, kleiner Terrasse war der Hammer.

Tout était parfait..petit déjeuner copieux et varié, accueil chaleureux avec un petit verre de vin, chambre spacieuse et moderne, hôtel bien situé et calme...Allez-y les yeux fermés :-)

trevligt hotell med bra läge i gamla stan. Hållplats för den berömda spårvagnen 28an precis utanför som kan ta en till centrum och metrostationer för att ta sig vidare om man så önskar. Mycket resturanger och härliga fik i närheten.

Super Hotel mit super Service, sehr schönen und sauberen Zimmern. Das Ambiente war im gesamten Hotel Sehr Sehr schön. Sehr hilfreich war das Gast Handy gratis mit allen wichtigen Informationen incl. free WLAN, Google Maps usw. Die Lage des Hotels ist super. Ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt für einen Städte Trip. Immer wieder gerne.

Ideales gelegenes Hotel für einen Städtetrip nach Lissabon. Die berühmte Tram Nr. 28 hält in unmittelbarer Nähe. Das Hotel ist in einem Toppzustand, unser Zimmer 110 war sehr geräumig und ruhig zum Innenhof gelegen. Das Frühstück ist von sehr guter Qualität, der Kaffee ausgezeichnet. Ausgesprochen nettes und hilfsbereites Personal.

Die Lage des Hotels ist zur Erkundung der Stadt ideal.Direkt vor dem Hotel befindet sich eine Haltestelle der berühmten Tramlinie 28.Die Zimmer sind individuell und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Alle Mitarbeiter sind seht freundlich und hilfsbereit. Jeder unserer Wünsche wurde erfüllt.Das Frühstück ist lecker, alle Speisen absolut frisch .Die Brötchen sind warm, der Kaffee wird frisch aufgebrüht.In unmittelbarer Nähe kann man in einem Supermarkt alle Dinge des täglichen Bedarfs einkaufen.Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt im Hotel Dear Lisbon Gallery House. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Hotel ist sehr zentral gelegen, im Stadtteil Bairo Alto. Das Beste am Hotel war das Frühstücksbuffet: feines Brot, Früchte, Müesli, Fleisch, Käse, Eier und als Dessert ein Pasteis de Nata.

In der Nähe einer Straßenbahn Haltestelle und nur einige Minuten zu Fuß vom Bahnhof Cais do Sodré entfernt (Bus-, Zug-, Fähr- und Metrostation) - in idealer Lage um Lissabon zu erkunden. Restaurants, Cafés, Supermarkt im Viertel. Neues Hotel in einem alten Lissaboner Haus. Junges, sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Team bei dem wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt haben. Gutes Frühstücksbuffet. Saubere Zimmer mit ausgezeichnetem Bett, Tresor, Espressomaschine, Wasserkocher. Derzeit noch kein Aufzug. Das Hotel organisiert auch einen privaten Shuttle Service von und zum Airport, was hilfreich ist, wenn man den Flughafen noch nicht kennt.

My husband and I had such a fab 4 night stay at the Dear Lisbon Gallery House in January. It is a boutique hotel which is a part of a small independent chain and we cannot recommend it highly enough. From the moment you arrive you are warmly welcomed by the staff team and we were impressed by the décor, throughout the renovated town house. The lobby is fascinating as the walls are decorated with the art work of the owner, a famous Fado singer, who has collected each piece of art from the many countries that he has visited. Our double room was incredibly comfortable and clearly decorated by someone with a real eye for detail with great taste. We loved that lots of the original features have remained in the sympathetic updating of the hotel e.g. window casements and flooring. Our room was SO quiet that we had four of the best nights sleep ever! When we stayed there was no elevator in the hotel but this was in the process of being installed so there would be no issues for those that find climbing stairs difficult, within a matter of weeks.We had breakfast included which was a buffet, help yourself, style and it was excellent. There was lots of choice and nothing ran out throughout our stay!Every single staff member that we met was super friendly and offered any help requested and they ensured that we had the most comfortable of stays.

todo es comodidad en el hotel, el trato del personal es excelente, la decoración del hotel tanto de las zonas comunes como las habitaciones desprenden buen gusto y la limpieza es otro punto fuerte, lo único que no tiene ascensor debido a la protección al ser un edificio histórico.
