Awesome hotel! The staff was super helpful (holding our lost luggage) and I always felt that they would help with any small request (I wanted extra envelopes). Also the room itself was fabulous. It had a fireplace and large bed, nice sunlight, nice bathroom. I selected this place as a surprise for my wife’s birthday and she was super happy. Also it’s not that expensive, was about $70 USD a night, which is on the higher side for me but the value of the place and staff was more than worth it. I’d be happy to stay again. Also breakfast is next door and is decent (Lactose free milk, eggs, meats, breads, etc). Additionally the location is 5 minutes away from the train stop and the airport bus stops only feet away. There’s a mall and several restaurants nearby. Also I see many joggers running around and people walking their dogs so the environment is very friendly.

Place is fabulous, staff are so friendly and helpful. This place exist since 1960! But looks soooo great and neat, they renovated and open it last August. This is my first time in Portugal and i'm soooo in love.

Totalmente recomendable. Atención, limpieza, calidad de las habitaciones, amenities... está genial precio-calidad imbatible. Unico pero...La proximidad al metro es buena para el transporte, pero hay vibraciones un tanto ruidosas.

die Unterkunft, 59 m2 Suite ist wunderschön, Altbau im neuem Gewand! Das Reinigungspersonal ist sehr nett und an der Information unten beim Eingang sind alle sehr hilfsbereit. Was negativ auffällt, wir waren im 7. Stock (es gibt nur noch einen Stock höher) ist die Lautstärke. das Hotel ist direkt an einer Verkehrsachse, das Fenster kann man mit dem riesigen Balkon schon öffnen, aber es ist wirklich laut! gemütlich auf dem Balkon verweilen geht nicht. Wer weiter unten ein Zimmer hat, gute Nacht! Was super ist, ein grosser externer Kühlschrank war vorhanden und der war leer, das passte uns! Ein grosser (wirklich grosser!) Fernseher ist in der Suite vorhanden, direkt auf das Bett ausgerichtet. Alle Anschlüsse sind nutzbar, wir konnten auch mit dem Notebook über den Fernseher problemlos Netflix schauen. Rundum ein wirklich tolles Hotel! Die Fahrt per Taxi runter zum mehr dauert an Randzeiten ca. 5-7 Min. und kostet 6.- Euro. Vor dem Hotel hat es eine Metrostation, Ein Metro Ticket (ein Weg) kostet 2.- Euro

The room was clean and lovely but very poorly soundproofed. I could frequently hear my neighbours, including the dialogue on their television.

Falta de profesionalidad de la recepcionista que estaba la noche del 8 de diciembre. Nuestro tercer día de hotel y nadie nos repuso jabón en el baño. Al llegar a las 23.30 quisimos ducharnos por lo que llamé para pedir que nos trajeran jabón ya que no lo habían repuesto. Su contestación fue que ellos no reponen todos los días y que por qué me iba a duchar a esa hora. Indicar que nosotros pagábamos lo mismo la tercera noche de hotel que la primera, por lo que si nuestras obligaciones se mantenían también deberían de mantenerse las del hotel. Pero no repusieron ni jabón ni café, solo la botella e agua. tras Indicarle a la recepcionista que bajaría yo a comprar a la tienda pero que valoraría en consecuencia por un detalle tan feo, un chico nos subió jabón. Lamentablemente este tipo de incidentes no deberían permitirse en un hotel de está categoría ni tener que hacer que un cliente se enfade para que le repongan el jabón, pues es algo que el hotel debería de hacer y comprobar al limpiar la habitación. Por esta razón, mi experiencia me dejó muy mal sabor de boca.

Hotel con buenas instalaciones, no tiene parking y no lo pone en las informaciones a la hora de reservar, la calefacción no hemos podido mantenerla en una temperatura fija se bajaba al rato de tenerla en marcha

This is a very beautiful hotel, conveniently located: near a grocery/mall, near the trains and buses, easily walkable to some awesome restaurants, theater, and museums. Everything was clean and modern, yet the hotel still has much of the original 1940's character. The woodwork and, especially the beautiful staircase, are awesome to see, as are the lobby and hallways. Everyone treated me with extreme, and genuine, care. I highly recommend. I'll be back!

Tolle Lage und schönes Zimmer.Leider gab es im Badezimmer seh unangenehme Gerüche aus dem Abfluss der Dusche. Das Frühsrücksbuffet war okay.

Conveniently located to tourist transportation like Metro and hop on/hop off bus stops. Beautifully decorated clean spacious suites with crisp sheets, plenty of towels. Our room had a fireplace, sofa, and additional seating. A good selection of quality restaurants nearby. Easy walk to Museo Gulbenkian, cited by Rick Steves as a must see museum in Lisbon.

Friendly and helpful staff, great fast and free WiFi, spacious room, good bed, large TV with lots of English language channels (not just news!), decent breakfast with some hot options, pastries, fruit, cold meats and cheeses and breads.

Our Delux Room had smart decor with a comfortable bed and a good out-of-Old Town (NOT OLD TOWN) location near public transport. However, it fell short of its potential because of a strong sewage odour coming from the corridor outside our room and even stronger from our toilet. We complained but was told that nothing could be done other than pouring a solution (bleach?) down the toilet bowl adding sorry, its just the way the building is. The solution helped but did not fully remedy the problem. The climate control panel was useless - always reset itself on HEAT at 20 degrees refusing to retain any adjustment. We complained but nothing was done to fix the problem. Morning showers were only luke warm at best. DISAPPOINTING overall.

My husband and I stayed in this hotel last August for three nights. It was a fabulous hotel. New and spotless. The train station was right outside the door. The staff were wonderful. I would highly recommend it.

Close to airport, several good restaurants. Would not recommend staying here if you have a car. Like most all “old town” hotels with no parking.

Jai aimé lemplacement et lesthétique générale.Cependant notre chambre était mal insonorisé, pas de discrétion phonique entre la chambre et les wc ni avec le couloir dailleurs....De la douche émanait de mauvaises odeurs. Bouilloire disponible mais pas de thé, chaussons annoncés mais inexistant. Bon accueil souriant sinon...

Zimmer im 1. Stock sehr sehr laut Autostrasse mit viel Verkehr und Gedröhne der Subway . Unbedingt ein Zimmer in den Hof verlangen. Sehr starke Abwasser- Geruchs Emision im Badzimmer .. schauerlich.

Die Lage und die Anbindung war sehr gut. Die Zimmer sind groß und die Ausstattung war sehr gut. Die Betten waren bequem. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und das Buffet war vielseitig. Problematisch war, dass das Hotel telefonisch über mehrere Tage nicht erreichbar war und wir erst nach 24 Stunden eine Antwort E-Mail erhalten haben. Zudem roch es im Zimmer etwas muffig. Lüften war nur mit angekippten Fenster möglich, was nicht viel gebracht hat. Die Bitte bei den Zimmermädchen das Fenster komplett zu öffnen wurde ignoriert. Teilweise wurden Handtücher vergessen und die Duschstange musste getauscht werden, da diese nicht richtig fixiert war.

The staff were not accommodating, early check in was a problem even though we requested it the week before. The receptionist did not make us feel welcome but rather that we were imposing. The actual hotel is great but the location and staff let it down.

Its near the metro, staff is very attentive and the room was very nice. I wish it had a fitness center and the road noise was loud on the street side of the hotel. I wish that I had the courtyard side of the hotel.

This place is away from the main tourist area which we loved. The trains are easy to use and get you to all the places you may want to go. The room was small but really nice. The bathroom was great and the bed super comfortable.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft. Alles war sehr sauber. Personal war sehr freundlich. Ubahn Haltestelle direkt vor der Tür. Viele Verpflegungsmöglichkeiten in direkter Nähe. Einzige minus war der Späte Check In, konnte das Zimmer erst um 14.00 Uhr beziehen.

Hôtel propre, bien desservi (bouche de métro au pied de l’hotel), petit déjeuner complet, personnel très aimable et accueillant, séjour parfait. Seul bémol l’eau de la douche était un peu froide.

so this hotel is built on top of a metro station... you can and will hear it from the rooms! We booked a twin room but it was so small there was less than 30cm between the beds! There was also no full length mirror in the rooms which was strange. Lastly the nespresso machine was a nice touch but no milk for coffee so we didnt actually use it! Quite disappointing :(

Absolut sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal. Die Zimmer sind sehr grosszügig und schön eingerichtet. Es gibt sogar eine Nespresso Maschine! Würde ich jederzeit wieder buchen.
