I see too many negative comments, but I can say I liked the codfish, it was delicious. The prices in the menu looked ok, but at the end they charged 6 euro extra (on 35 euro bill) “for the kitchen”! Overall in my opinion it’s a good, simple place to enjoy tasty fresh fish.

Belle arnaque à touristes, plats rechauffes à peine tiède, calamars durs immangeable.... une honte pour cette belle ville. A éviter absolument . Leur prévision météo est largement meilleur que leur cuisine !.... seul leur rabatteur fait son metier correctement.

Uma experiência pessima, a comida horrível sem sabor, comi bacalhau á Brás sem azeitonas, salsa e ovos, era mais um bacalhau com batata palha de pacote sem mais nada, noutro prato a salada vinha podre e as batatas fritas congeladas requentada. Sem dudúvi a nunca mais voltar

Worst restaurant ever! Someone on the street stopped us and showed us the menu with quite cheap prices which were different and higher in the restaurant. Service is not existing but they charge min. 10% "service tax" without telling before. They said it's normal for this street. Food was very expensive and not appealing, especially the codfish. Name of the restaurant is originally "Onda" as shown on the picture here. They also let us wait a very long time so we went inside for paying. Don't go there!

Food isn't fresh, the vegetarian paella is pricey yet very unfulfilling and plain. They charge a lot of "tax" and make you pay for the shots of wine they serve you when you first sit which they say is "complimentary". The guy who lured us in told us that it was "his mother's food". Classic tourist trap.

Not worth visiting, the food is not fresh at all. If you’re looking for some Portuguese food that are somewhat fresh this place is not your place. If you see this comment I strongly advice you to find another option to dine, any other place is probably better than this one.

Ristorante non molto accogliente per esempio ho mangiato su un tavolo che "ballava" perché aveva un gamba più corta dell'altra.
Cibo buono e squisito. Ma c'è un problema alla base di tutto: servizio orrendo quasi terribile. Non si sono neanche preoccupati di darmi il resto sono dovuto andare io personalmente a chiederlo.
NON andate se siete turisti, vi fregano (ho avuto la fortuna di essere con una persona del posto).

Le rapport qualité prix est nul. Le pouple est dur et on ne sait pas trop quelle partie a été utilisée pour le plat.
Les calmar rings sont clairement les "surgelés du liddle" et la portion de riz edt minuscule... Pour le prix vraiment c'est choquant....
Alors en plus payer les couverts et une carafe d eau du robinet Non merci... J ai rarement été aussi déçue d'un "resto"

Achtung- Abzocke mit Getränken und Gedeck.
Auf dem Weg durch die Stadt sind wir auch hier vorbeigekommen. Wir entschieden uns hier zu essen. Da die Tageskarte (Schild auf dem Fußweg) gute Preise suggerierte.
Wir setzten uns und bekamen dann die bunte Tourikarte. Gleiche Gerichte nur teurer und die Getränkepreise waren nicht abgebildet.
Wir wiesen auf das Schild der Tageskarte hin und bestellten günstige Gerichte . Dazu Wein und Bier.
Am Ende kam dann die Rechnung.
Das Essen wurde regulär berechnet.
Beef portugiesische Art: 7€
Fisch: 8:50€
0,5l Bier: 5€
Glas Wein: 4,90€
Couvert: 3,70€
Insgesamt unverschämte Getränkepreise und 3,70€ für Couvert ohne dass es irgendwo steht.
Trinkgeld gab es natürlich nicht
Essen war so lala.
Bitte geht hier nicht essen, hier wirst du abgezockt.
Nachdem wir mehrere Bewertungen gelesen haben, variieren die Preise abhängig wann man hinkommt.

Someone Portuguese outside is convincing you to have your lunch/diner at his typically portuguese mother restaurant !! Everything is fake, there is no family there, only Indian people !! Food is made out of frozen ingredients and not good at all ! Cherry on top, they also charging a ''Couvert'' at 3.50 euros as a service fees !! First time seen after two weeks in Lisbon
Don't go there, anywhere else will be better !!

This is a tourist trap, half way through our cold meal I waived the waiter and told him we'd pay half because whatever he served wasn't worth the outrageous prices. He took my offer quickly and gladly.

El PEOR restaurante que hemos podido ir. Nos engañaron en la calle diciendo que plato casero, aperitivo, digestivo, pan, todo mentira,. Entramos en el restaurante y nos dan la carta y pedimos el papel del menu, no nos pusieron aperitivo, ni entraba el pan que nos cobraron 5€, una lucha en todo momento mientras comíamos para que no nos engañaran. En la cuenta nos ponen el Covert 8'95€ que nos negamos a pagar. Un trato nefasto, una maleducacion por parte de la propietaria.
Un restaurante que NO recomendariamos. Cuidado con el chico que está en el cruce del barrio baixo que os engañara con palabrería que luego no cumplen en el restaurante.

La nourriture passe encore, par contre la surprise d'avoir 3€ de couverts et 3€50 d'eau non indiqués sur la carte est assez désagréable. Le service laisse à désirer et la propreté n'est pas au rendez vous.

La comida bien, pero me parece una estafa cobrar 3,50 e por una botella pequeña de agua o una cerveza... Es mejor comer en otro sitio que no sea tan céntrico, y que por menos de 10 o 9 euros tienes primer plato un segundo, postre y bebida...

I wish I could rate zero but that’s the best I can do after being so tired and not caring to check where the trapper was leading us to. Be alert, and always check the rating. Food was just bad, so bad. First food in Lisbon so I have to improve my score.

This was literally the worst restaurant I've ever been to in my whole life. The waitor was very impatient and not very friendly. The food was terrible. The Paella costs more than 18€ and all you get is rice with a kind of a soup and bad shrimps. The risotto is only rice with cheese and its a very small portion.
You shouldn't eat here if you want something good for your money.

Te abren un menú con precios tirados, te dicen que los trabajadores de la zona van todos allí por ser el más barato del lugar, ahora se llama Onda Lisboa. Nos captó un chico Venezolano muy amable que nos ( invitó a una copa de oporto tipo chupito ) los precios a priori " bien " hasta que llega la factura, te cobra el pan a 2,50 sin haberlo pedido, la copa de cerveza a 4 euros cada una UN DETALLE IMPORTANTE es que en los precios que te muestran no ponen el Iva en algunas cosas es del 23% y en otras el 13% y al final de la factura te lo cobran, junto al servicio, es como una propina que ellos deciden cobrarte porque les da la gana. Recuerda ONDA LISBOA carísimo y la comida de pena .. es basura !

Mudaram o nome para Onda Lisboa, mas a cara de pau continua a mesma. Na Rua Augusta oferecem uma ementa com preços dos pratos do dia. Quando entramos no restaurante, o garçom que nos atendeu tirou da ementa os pratos do dia e mostrou apenas os mais caros. Como já estávamos avisados deste tipo de atitude dos restaurantes da região, solicitamos o que haviam mostrado anteriormente. O garçom fez cara feia, mas trouxe. Depois não quiz mais nos atender. Outro teve que terminar o serviço. Uma cidade que recebeu tempos atrás o título de melhor lugar da Europa, não devia deixar estas situações acontecerem. Multa-se ou fecha-se estes estabelecimentos. Assim para outros servirão de exemplo.

1. Die Bar wird unter falschen Namen Betrieben, um die negativen Bewertungen nicht lesen zu können.
2. Bier wurde mit Wasser verdünnt, weil wir sagten, dass die Bierpreise zu teuer wären.
3. Trinkgeld/TAX wird einfach einberechnet!!! Min.10%!
4. Qualität der Speisen unzureichend. Spaghetti Bolognese bestellt und es wurde nur Spaghetti mit bisschen Hackfleisch serviert! Keine Sauce - gar nichts !!!!

Attention piège à touristes. Médiocre et sur facturation "apéritive". Près de 6 € pour des olives. Ça fait cher l'olive . De vrais champions dans l'art de la magouille. Au moins, j'ai eu le plaisir de le voir courir après avoir pris mon paiement.

El sitio mas cutre de Lisboa. Por favor, si no quereis ser engañados, ni os acerqueis. Espera de 1 hora. Unas almejas por 15 € y te pusieron 8 que no se veían, la mitad cerradas y con un sabor a avecrem que tiraba para atrás. Las cañas a 3,5 €; la botella de 50 cl. a 3,5 €; unos lombinhos que mas que grelhados estaban chamuscados y encima pretenden cobrarte 7 € por servicio de cubierto. Una estafa para turistas

NO ENTREIS!! ESTAFA!! EL PEOR RESTAURANTE QUE HE PISADO De lo peor que he visto en mucho tiempo, fuimos captados por él chico que esta en la rambla central, nos lió bien liados... La comida mala, cara, congelada y recalentada en microondas, él arroz apelmazado se podía pinchar, mal servicio. A mi se olvidaron de traerme mi plato, ( menos mal...) En resumen, si miras la reseña antes de entrar, no iras pero si cometes nuestro error, no lo olvidarás... Él señor de la foto fue él que nos captó, cuidado si habla con vosotros que no os engañen!

Mauvais service, mauvaise cuisine. Serveurs trop occupés à alpaguer les potentiels pigeons dans la rue pour s'occuper des clients déjà assis. Et il faut payer 10% de service en plus sur l'addition à la fin, ce qui n'est bien sûr écrit nulle part. À éviter.

Creo que con la versión de la opinión resumida es suficiente, y lamentablemente merece ser poco elegante y totalmente explícita: “es una mierda”. Si aún sigues planteándote comer o cenar, aquí va la versión ampliada. El servicio lentísimo, la ensalada de atún muy triste, tres hojas de lechuga y una lata de atún, las gambas al ajillo, venían acompañadas con muchísimo pan y doy gracias porque tenia salsa de sobra con cuatro gambas, un bacalao a la brasa (el típico con patata) adjunto foto, horrible, la patata estaba recalentada y formaba masa. Y por último un plato combinado de lomo... saladíiiiisimo, adjunto la cuenta. Demencial.

Una estafa.... A pesar de que la atención del servicio no ha sido mala.. La comida no había por donde cogerla. Ni estaba buena ni entraba por el ojo ni nada. A la hora de la cuenta nos han pegado un palazo de 44€ por dos platos y dos refrescos. Hay sitios mucho mejores cerca como para volver a acabar aquí... Prefiero ayunar!!!

Cozy and delicious! The only restaurant in Portugal I’ve found so far that I’d want to come back everytime I’m in town. The codfish coquette is a must try. The seafood paella was good, and my favorite is the shrimp pasta.

NIE polecam !!!!! Pizza mrożona, ciasto twarde jak kamień. Tuńczyk grillowany- fatalny, bez smaku i byl nieświeży. Fatalna obsługa, kelnerka bardzo nieuprzejma! Na jedzenie czekaliśmy 30 minut, same napoje kelnerka przyniosła po 10 minutach bo najpierw musiała porozmawiać z kolegą z pracy. Dodatkowo do rachunku doliczyli sobie 4 euro nie wiem za co.

A group of Eight of us went to this restaurant after being approached on a nearby street and told the food would be good, when we got to the restaurant we ordered our food, which when it came was really bad not just one of our meals but all of them. The wine was very poor quality and the staff were very rude and unfriendly. The bill was a joke, we were charged over €9 for the butter we had with our bread and olives and an additional charge which was not IVA, when we challenged them about the bill and we told them we were not happy they just laughed at us. There was not one good thing you could say about this restaurant. We would only advise you to stay away.

Malissima comida, te engañan para entrar, el agua ni es mineral, es del grifo depurada 3,5€, bacalao salado no, saladisimo, paella sosa con exceso de curry(el cocinero es oriental seguro), el resto malo y muy caro hasta el servicio te cobran 4€ , pan 2'5€ . !Un timo vamos¡

Llevo 3 días en Lisboa comiendo en distintos restaurantes y este es el peor con diferencia la crema de marisco es una crema de patatas con colorante rojo una pastilla de avecrem y una gamba en el centro que es lo que le da el nombre de crema de marisco claro mi mujer se pidió una crema de la casa y era lo mismo pero con distinto colorante . Cobraron por la bebida una barbaridad 4,50 una Copita de vino tinto y 5 la cerveza además de 2,5 un botellín pequeño de agua , en botella de plástico, y después para terminar me preguntan si quiero postre o cafe les digo que no que me den la cuenta y pasado un tiempo esperando la cuenta me vienen de nuevo para preguntarme lo mismo , les vuelvo a repetir que me den la cuenta , por fin la traen y el camarero me pregunta si le pongo alguna propina para cobrar con la tarjeta . Por supuesto le digo que no pago y me voy .

Repas pour la nouvelle année 2018 décevant, qualités des plats médiocres surgelés. Surtout attention ce sont des voleurs, pas de tickets détaillé soit disant la caisse ne fonctionne pas, repas pour sept personne 440 euros après vérification 80 euros de surplus pour rien. Patron plus que désagréable avec ces employés comme avec les clients. À fuir attrape touriste.

The worst restaurant ever, aweful food, worse service!! Have been waiting there for almost an hour and charge our 4 extra euros for nothing! (A guy claim it’s service fee, the other said its bread and butter, which we didn’t get from beginning!)

Siamo stati adescati nelle vicinanze del locale da uno degli scagnozzi, direi complice ,che affabilmente ci invitava in questo locale mostrandoci un menù con piatti tipici portoghesi e prezzi accettabili. La realtà sì è dimostrata molto diversa.Non posso dire che si sia mangiato male ma non c'è assolutamente paragone tra qualità (niente di particolare) e prezzo (assolutamente esorbitante). Posti così rovinano la reputazione di un luogo meraviglioso come Lisbona. Se fossi un ristoratore della zona farei una petizione per farlo chiudere.

Cant agree to most reviews, but maybe something happenend in the last 2 months. Zhe food was very good (both yesterday and today), the price was okay (paella costs 13-19€ [chicken-seafood], in other restaurants every paella costs 14€). The staff was VERY friendly. I asked them why christo rei had the "thank you 1927-2017" banner on him, they didnt know and researched for a few minutes. Turns out the bishop from the city south of christo rei died this year. Also had some other conversations with them, really nice people.
Would recommend!
EDIT: Went threre the 3rd day in a row. Got 2 free shots on the house. Just lovely.

Pésimo!
El servicio es terrible, fuimos rescatados por un mozo que de casualidad nos vio. Esperamos un montón para que nos traigan la carta, luego llegó la entrada y no teníamos ni la bebida. Dos veces nos trajeron mal la cuenta, te cobran el pan (que te lo traen sin que se lo pidas) y los cubiertos.
Caro para la calidad de la comida, que no es nada en especial.

We came and sat down. Then we waited for 20+ minutes for the waiter to come so I went inside and asked for someone to come out and take our order. Then they brought us a plate of cheese and bread and said they would only charge us for what we ate! (what?) OK, so we got the food. It was not bad, but it was impossible to get a hold of our server. None ever came back to the table to ask us if we were alright and if we wanted anything else. At the end we asked for the check, another 20 minutes later it came and had a 4.10 Euro charge for service even though it is not specified anywhere on the menu. I asked specifically for the menu to see if it was listed anywhere and it was not. I asked to speak to the manager and the server rushed to tell me he was the manager and was extremely rude.

We had the grilled Portuguese chicken and both of us had to ask for more sauce as it was a plain grilled "chicken". The size was more like a new born chicken.
The other one was the excuse of bottle water for tourists so they wouldn't get sick was nothing other then a revenue raising excuse to make more money.
Don't waste your time or money on this shocking place. The staff and food are way to poor to deal with.

Uma boa experiência. Este é dos restaurantes à antiga. Os funcionários são simpáticos e a comida é boa. Os preços são justos. O espaço é agradável. Tem esplanada mas o interior também é interessante.

por el mal trato de los camareros y los qie hay fuera en la calle atrayendo a gente para engañarla. Pesimo lugar, no recomiendo a nadie venir. Precios excesivamente caros , un arroz caldoso 54€, para engañar turistas

Habe gerade leider auch diese Erfahrungen machen müssen! Getränke überteuert. Das Essen für das Geld viel zu teuer und dann noch einfach Brot auf der Rechnung. Couvert....4,30Euro.

Estuve en este sitio en agosto 2017 .Pedimos 3 platos combinados , el bacalao asado parecía congelado , no estaba muy bueno ,el resto de platos bien . El camarero que nos atendió fue amable . El precio nos pareció razonable .

Il cameriere , dopo aver apparecchiato il nostro tavolo ha tolto il piatto di uno di noi per darlo a quelli del tavolo accanto e subito dopo si è acceso una sigaretta ed è andato all'angolo per fumare in pace. Il rapporto qualità prezzo non era per niente coerente , hanno fatto pagare due bottigliette di acqua (una frizzante è una naturale) 5,50€ due birre 10€ e via andare...
Ci hanno fatto pagare oltre i 6 euro di coperto anche se di coperto c'erano solo due tovagliette di carta e i tovagliolini . Il servizio è stato pessimo e il cameriere sapeva parlare a malapena inglese.

Das Essen war der reinste Horror und trieb mir die Tränen in die Augen. Die Getränke waren völlig überteuert...für 0,2 Liter Orangensaft 4,50 EUR. Das Personal war unfähig, inkompetent und unfreundlich. Das Beef war kein Rindfleisch sondern Schweinefleisch und war zäh wie Gummi und den Vorspeisenteller würde ich nicht mal meinen Hund geben. Wir saßen in einer verdreckten Gasse an total angeranzten Möbeln. Uns wurde zugesichert dass das Essen in 10 Minuten fertig ist, da wir zu unserem Bus mussten. Wir haben aber fast 30 Minuten warten müssen und der Kellner war extrem unfähig und sehr frech. Lasst bitte die Finger von diesem Saftladen.

Touriabzocke...Die Paella war 5-6€ € teurer als in den umliegenden Restaurants. Service war unfreundlich. Trinkgeld wurde automatisch auf die Rechnung draufgehauen (13%). Die Portionen waren klein.

1 etoile car la nourriture était correcte mais l'addition c'est pire que Gérard Majax : entrées non mangées a payer contrairement a ce qu'explique le serveur qui parle tres bien français. Service non inclus compté en "divers". Bref, comme les autres commentaires, cest une belle ARNAQUE !

Arnaqué pour les touristes 86 euros pour 3 personnes boissons incluseset sans café ni dessert. Nous n'avons pas consommé de pain ni des fromages et ils nous ont été facturés. Nous avons pris des crevettes et elles étaient trop cuites et pas fraîche. . On lui commande une assiette de salade pour 3 et il nous apporte 3 copieuses salades. Le repas et l'addition me sont restés en travers de la gorge. Je ne le recommandé pas du TOUT.

Una verguenza. Un timo para extranjeros. An absolute disgrace. A total rip-off! Nos captaron por la calle con su simpatía pesada. La comida fue asquerosa, nos cobraron 3'5 euros por un botellin de agua y luego te cobran el servicio. No lo recomiendo a nadie. Do not even think of trying this restaurant. It is a total con.

Below average food. Overcharged 5.50 Euro for bread that we never ordered. Rude, stay away. I don't eat olive and cheese that he brought it so he took them and charge me for that when I ask him he lie and said this is Tax. I translated the bill and it was the olive,cheese and bread. I went to waiter again he was still cheating and i went to his boss immediately he returned 5.50 to me without arguing. Cheating staff. Exploit the foreign tourists.

Y suis allée une première fois, rien à redire, repas et addition corrects, bien mangé, accueil sympathique, pas de surprise.
Retournée une seconde fois et lá.... même si l accueil et le repas étaient parfaits, quelques surprises lors de la note.... donc, un conseil, bien avoir en mémoire la commande le prix de son menu pour comparer avec l addition finale.....

Wonderful little traditional Portuguese restaurant, unpretentious and charming. Good staff and quick service without rushing you. Free WiFi. Great food.
