Casual, simple food but delicious. Had sardines grilled on the patio next to us, roast chicken, and cod. The cod came with greens, potatoes, black eyed peas, onions, and a pool of oil. Friendly (if a bit slow) service. Noticed a small mistake on our bill which was promptly fixed.

Paragonabile ad una nostra osteria, è un locale sempre affollato, dove si mangia gomito a gomito con i vicini. Le porzioni sono abbondanti e propongono i classici piatti della tradizione portoghese. La qualità è buona, niente di speciale, ma comunque gradevole. Il conto è proporzionato alla qualità e alla quantità di cosa viene offerto.

Um espaço agradável com bom atendimento. Pratos saborosos. Muita música brasileira das antigas, como "Evidências" e as primeiras do Luan Santana . Porções grandes para pessoas que comem pouco. Tem um quadro com notas de várias partes do mundo deixadas pelos clientes. Bem legal. Aconchegante. Bons vinhos. Cerveja gelada. Saboroso pão de entrada com deliciosos patês. Bom preço. Com certeza uma experiência que vale a pena. Ps.: garçons brasileiros!

Das Restaurant ist recht ruhig gelegen. Das Essen ist sehr lecker und die Preise angenehm. Sternabzug für zu eng aneinander gestellte Tische und Stühle und für die Bedienung, die mehrmals bei einigen Rechnungen durcheinander kam.

상 조르제 성 가는 길에 들려서 샹그리아와 대구요리를 먹었습니다. 메뉴는 Santiago 대표 메뉴였나..? 암튼 가게 이름이 들어간 생선 요리였어요. 기름이 많아서 생선만 계속 먹으면 느끼할 수 있을 것 같아요. 하지만 감자와 콩과 양파랑 같이 먹으니 정말 맛있었습니다. 물까지 시켜서 17유로 정도 나왔습니다.

Avis précédents très étonnants car nous n'y avons pas été déçus. Il est vrai qu'il ne paye pas de mine vue de l'extérieur et que certains serveurs ne sont pas forcément agréables. Mais ils ont une sangria délicieuse (la meilleure que j'ai bu durant mes 4 jours de séjour) et le poisson était très bien assaisonné.bonne adresse

Un bar para guiris, ni más ni menos. Pedí el risotto y me sirvieron un arroz pasadísimo, mezclado con puré de calabaza e insípido. A todo esto, al camarero le dió absolutamente igual, ni preguntó, ni comentó nada y, además, lo cobró. Espantoso.

Vorsicht Nepplokal. Gutes Ambiente, aber das Essen hält nicht, was es verspricht. Der Fisch war nicht gereinigt. Sowohl dourada als auch sardinha schmeckten sehr bitter, weil die Innereien nicht ordentlich ausgeputzt waren. Das Gemüse zur Dorade war kalt. Die Kartoffeln total winzig. Der Oberhammer: die nicht bestellten Oliven mit Brot, Pasten und Butter, die jeder als appetizer bekommt, wurden mit 7€ berechnet. Als ich nur 1.30 € Trinkgeld gab, um meine Unzufriedenheit zu zeigen, hörte ich Gelächter aus der Küche und die 11€ Rückgeld erhielt ich als 100 gramm schwere Münzsammlung zurück. Das war am 10.09.2018.

Tudo bem com a comida mas não serviram um copo de água a uma criança que estava a almoçar com dois adultos e não tinham o sumo que ela gostava porque eram regras da casa. com esta regra ... não volto lá! Falta de cortesia e denuncia a atitude subjacente para com os clientes.Depois de falar em livro de reclamações vieram oferecer uma garrafa de água. Recusámos.

Sobre lo que comentan en reseñas anteriores todo cierto te cobran el pan las olivas y la mantequilla a precios diferentes y viene en un plato y no te preguntan...... a nosotros nos pusieron un arroz con pulpo en su carta (octopus rice) y el tomate o el Fumet de pescado está agrio lo devolví y nos lo cobraron, además el entrecot con patatas llevaba una salsa con sabor a champiñones que creo que era del menú de mediodía porque en la carta no decía nada de champiñones.....

Para mi la peor experiencia en un restaurante de mi vida esto no lo salva ni chicote!!! Es una pena porque la localización es buena!!

Serveur extrêmement désagréable. Pas un sourire de tout le service, réponse cassante systématiquement, pas un merci ni même un au revoir après avoir payé.
On refuse de nous donner une carte pour les boissons, prix surprises donc. On refuse également d’apporter en parallèle une carafe d’eau « tap water please? - No. you pay for a bottle».

Good position near castle. My hamburger, fries & salad was very nice (4*) however the rest of my group said their food was disappointing. Also, although I am used to a table cover charge of a few euros, when we arrived, bread, butter, olives & fishcakes all appeared. On the menu, it said that these wd be removed if we asked, but if we had eaten them without realising, an extra €20 would’ve been added to bill. This seemed a bit steep. (You were even charged extra for the pat of butter!)

Very friendly service but apart from that, quite poor. Tasteless food hastily reheated. They place bread and fish cakes on your table and then harshly charge you for them if they are touched. (Even the butter!)

We just shared a plate of grilled sardines with potatoes and salad for lunch, with a couple of glasses of wine. The sardines were only €9 and were excellent - four plump fish, accompanied by perfectly cooked potatoes and a small salad. Perfect. The waiter was super-friendly and brought us half a bottle of wine for the same price as the two glasses ordered. Excellent value for a quick lunch.

Só cá estive uma vez e na noite de Santo António , noite em que a ementa era especial, só havendo sardinhas e febras.
Contudo gostei do serviço e as sardinhas e febras até razoáveis para a noite em questão. Preços um pouco mais altos, mas não muito especulativos para este dia.

Nos cobraron las cervezas en la terraza a 2,70€ , incluso nos cobraron las aceitunas de cortesía. Y lo peor, cuando comentamos entre NOSOTROS que era caro el camarero se encaró como un energúmeno maleducado.

The food is not bad and also is a cheep place to eat. This place is a scam for tourists. This restaurant is the typical restaurant that want to surprise tourists with additional dishes that you doesn’t request and also and extra payment because suddenly “the service is not included” After 4 days eating in Lisbon is the first restaurant with that rule and for sure is a strategy to increase the bills. Choose another restaurant in the area.

Wie viele schon schreiben, unfreundliches Auftreten. Handschriftliche 10% Trinkgeld auf dem Kassenbon als wenn die Angst hätten nichts zu bekommen. Außerdem hat mir der Laden ein Tag meines Urlaubs geklaut, schöne Magen Darm Grippe nach dem Entrecote (medium) mit french fries. Zum ausrasten!

Das gegrillte Hähnchen war nicht knusprig und kaum gewürzt.Die Bedienung war nicht freundlich, wahrscheinlich weil wir keine kostenpflichtige Brot/Paste/Oliven/Butter haben wollten, die uns einfach hingestellt wurden ohne zu Fragen. Keine Empfehlung nur Touristen Abzocke

Comida muy mala, pedí un arroz con pulpo que tenía mal sabor, y para que un arroz y el pulpo sepa mal, difícil... La salsa tenía tomate de bote y el pulpo no sabía a nada, y era congelado o peor, de lata. Ya estábamos con disgusto y para colmo en la cuenta nos añadieron el 10% del servicio decían, como si fuese obligatorio pero se quedaba allí esperando el tío a que lo añadieras al pago. Una cosa muy rara. Nada recomendable el sitio.

El local no es nada del otro mundo el servicio no es malo pero tampoco para tirar cohetes de hecho recomiendo que tengáis cuidado con la cuenta por que ellos se auto otorgan la propina de un 10% y si no estás atento os la cuelan , la comida no es mala más bien pasable te ponen unos entrantes que en otros restaurantes de la zona y de Lisboa te preguntan si los quieres , estos no , te los planta y te cobran entre entrantes y pan unos 7€

Qualität des Essens nicht so gut. Die Thunfisch-Vorspeise finde ich überteuert, für die Menge und den Geschmack den man dafür bekommt. Die Bedienung ist nicht aufmerksam und nicht sehr höflich.
Den Fakt, dass die Bedienung ein Essen vergessen hat in die Rechnung miteinzutippen, worauf man sie darauf aufmerksam gemacht hat, kommentiert die Bedienung ohne ein dankeschön mit den Worten: "I don't care. I'm not the owner."

Horrible. J’ai pris les cubes de porc cuisinés « à la portugaise » : viande ultra sèche, petits légumes qui ont le goût de vinaigre, patates réchauffées bref immangeable. Mon amie a pris des sardines de très mauvaises qualités et pas fraîches.
Et attention, ils vous servent des amuses bouches au début qui ne sont absolument pas gratuit.

Comida mediocre. Se han inventado que el servicio en las terrazas vale el 10% del total, pero no está escrito en ningún sitio y te encuentras la sorpresa con la cuenta. Además gastamos 35€ y nos cobraron 40€! Volví a reclamar que el 10% añadido a 35€ no llegaba a 40€ y me devolvieron la diferencia. Me han parecido poco honestos y interesados a turistas poco atentos.

Recommended by our AirBnB host, came here on our first day in Lisbon with the family.
Waiters were friendly and honest (recommended great dishes, not the most expensive, and offered to split the pasta for the kids and advised not to order two), and the food was very tasty. Price was great too, especially considering the prime location close to the castle.
Ended up coming a second time during our short 3-day stay.
Not rating 5 stars because this is not your super-fancy place. But great value for the money.

Pommes de terres dites rôties mais en fait elle sont justes bouillies à l’eau

Si buscas algo básico, éste es tu lugar. Cerca del castillo de San Jorge, comida aceptable y espacio agradable, servicio competente y correcto. Las críticas casi nos hacen salirnos, a saber: entrantes, es típico de Portugal, te los ponen y si no los quieres, se lo dices al camarero y los retiran sin cobrar, eso si, no los toques. 10% de propina, ellos lo insinúan poniendo un 10% a mano en la cuenta, por si cuela, les puedes dejar la propina que quieras. La comida está bien, en nuestro caso la sopa de pescado y el bacalao brasileño, muy buenos. Hay que revisar la cuenta (como en cualquier lugar).

We stayed here just for a drink. However, the waiter served some bread and olives without asking (which we had to pay for at the end). In the meantime, the staff of the restaurant had a noisy argue with each other which could be heard all over the terrace. As a result, most of the guests asked for the bill and went away. We asked for the bill as well. To my surprise, the waiter wrote on the receipt that we had to pay for a 15 per cent service fee which was never stated in the menu card. To conclude, a restaurant without manners, too high prices and a bad atmosphere..

Près du chateau peut on s'attendre à autre chose ? (oui il y a chez Audrey's).
J'avais envie de sardines grillées, il faisait chaud avec une table pres d'un rafraichisseur d'air j y suis allé.
La nourriture est sans intéret car sardines trop cuites et salades en sachet.
Le vin est assez infect.
Le service est quasi inexistant et ils poussent au pourboire c'est limite honnête.

Sitio con buen aspecto u acogedor, pero eso es todo, la comida es horrible!!!.
Macarrones a la bolognesa que no se los tomó ni el niño, bacalao as natas con sabor agrio y el arroz con pulpo (cutre y asqueroso) que era un arroz blanco cocinado con una pata de pulpo en conserva. También pedí una copa de vino y estaba caliente (me la cambiaron por una cerveza). El culmen fue a la hora de pedir la cuenta, sorpresa!!! Un 10 % de propina por el servicio (se piensan que es USA!!), si cuela eso que se llevan. En resumen, nada recomendable.

Don't go there. Food is ok...service is not good they cheat you with the price, any restaurant in portugal, spain, or any place you have to know how much you are gonna pay for each thing that you order...before you order the main course, here, they serve items and snacks ( fish cakes olives bread and butter ) over the table for you to eat they don't show after you eat how much you are going to pay and they bringht you after you eat the menú. Thats nasty. After that is lot of money plus they charge you a 10% extra for service that they never tell you.They are not honest and always use tricky things. Also they are not professional.When we refuse to pay the extra ammount that they wanted to charge us for a not fair reason they got mad...started to scream...they didnt want get any solution or help us...even they were actin as they were calling they police. And we always were honest, polite and clear with them..on.my opinion.they dont have waiter formation.

Sitio con buena ubicacion, el único problema es que el único plato que merece la pena es el bacalao dorado (bacalhau a drás) el cual es uno de los platos típicos de Lisboa y merece la pena probarlo en este sitio. Los mayores problemas son el cobro del servicio del 10%, el cual, no lo avisa en ningún sitio ni en la carta ni a la hora de tomar nota; y que el resto de platos (arroz con pulpo, spaghetti bolognesa, etc...) no merecen la pena, el arroz pasado y el pulpo insípido. Si os cobran el 10% sin datos cuenta lo podéis reclamar y no os pondrán ningún problema.

Gemütlich und eng, was ich aber nicht als schlimm empfinde. Die Garnelen in Knoblauchsoße waren sehr lecker und die Sardellen als Hauptgang gut. Man muss wissen, das die Innereien noch enthalten sind. Manchen wird das sicher stören. Es wird frisch vor dem Restaurant gegrillt.

Al lado del Castillo encontramos este pequeño restaurante con terraza y comedor. Tiene diversidad de platos de buen.precio. la comida estaba muy rica y los pescados exquisitos, muy jugosos y tiernos. Sirven un aperitivo de buñuelos de bacalao junto con su paté típico y unas aceitunas. La decoración es muy curiosa, con botellas de vino en el techo. Merece la.pena.

Esta ubicado en un lugar transitado. La calidad precio no compensa. Platos sencillos que no reflejan las fotos de Google. Cuidado con los precios. Te intentarán cobrar el pan ( que no has pedido) 0,50€ el plato de olivas con la mantequilla y el paté que va todo en un plato pero todo tiene un precio diferente. Puedes decirle al camarero que no lo quieres. Y al final intentarán metertela con el 10% de propina...no es obligatorio. Vamos que te toman por tonto.

Stay away from this place! Food was extremely mediocre. Sangria was good. Food was expensive for what you get. Fried things cooked in rancid oil. Never brought change back to me. I asked two different waiters for my change and both just shrugged their shoulders. It was only 3 Euros, and I was going to actually leave them a 5 Euro bill as a tip because they were attentive while we ate and I wanted the Euro coins. We were staying at an AirBnB on the square about 5 doors up from the restaurant for 4 days and likely would have had sangria/drinks and olives/bread/cheese there twice each day. Overall, poor experience.

The roasted meat (lamb and chicken) was really excellent. Staff is friendly. Prices are very reasonable... You have to be carefull, that the bread, olives etc. they put on the table when you arrive, cost extra. But you can tell them, that you don't want it. An extra service charge of 10% is added, which was fine for us.

Platos abundantes respecto al precio, aunque la calidad no sea muy buena. Esta bien si tienes que salir del paso pero no lo recomiendo. Te ponen los entrantes, sin preguntar. Al pagar hay que tener cuidado porque el servicio (el personal) no está incluido y te quieren cobrar un 10% adicional sobre el valor final de tu cuenta. Y las botellas de agua son de 33cl, no hay grandes.

À éviter : non seulement ils rajoutent sur l'adition des produits non commandés et au moment de payer par carte après avoir fait une première fois le code ils disent que la machine n'a plus de papier et nous font refaire le code. Nous avons payé deux fois. J'ai lu dans les commentaires que c'était arrivé à d'autres.

Looks like food is heated up in microwave, tasteless and without having any character. This was my by far worst bacalhau in whole Lisbon so far.

Il cibo non è né straordinario ma nemmeno terrificante. Il posto è buono, vicino al castello di San Jorge. Le porzioni sono abbondanti. Io mi sono fermato perché avevo fame. Per un pasto veloce ci si può fermare. Me se volete qualcosa di raffinato, no.

Tout est dit dans l'ensemble des commentaires présents. Nourriture médiocre, sèche et sans saveur. Même à 500 mètres de la mer, ne comptez pas avoir du poisson frais. Dommage l'emplacement est sympa.

The put when you come an appetiser, which you thing it's for free before they reach the menu-card but at the end you hv to pay for that. Comment it's in the menu written. Food is nothing special. On bill added by hand +10% service.... no comment we did NOT have to pay the 10% and nor we did had to pay the appetiser of the house. We wanted to call police and we would have done if they did not change bill. We will NEVER go there again.

Bland food. Fisk soup tasteless. Fish (seabream) oversalted. Usual couvert robbery. Had the check to write "service not included" and + 10% . Note: the only bad experience in Lisbon

Cuidado con los pagos con tarjeta!!! Hacen que no tienen papel y te cobran dos veces. He leído que le ha pasado a más gente.
A parte, la comida muy muy muy mala.
Si leéis esto no entréis, de verdad.

We didnt make a good experience, we didnt eat couvert, after we wanted the bill, they asked us for dessert or coffe but we didnt wanted. we still wanted to pay. Right after that they called someone and the server run away with the bill. we asked a second time, because we already waited 20 minutes. After we asked the second time for the bill, they didnt really recognized us. Then we got the bill and they put (handwritten) +10% on the bill. We felt like criminals.

Terrible food and service. Poor dry roasted chicken, bland in taste. Lamb was way too fatty and poorly cooked. Not a good choice of restaurant.

Je n'ai pas aimé les olives, mais pourtant, elles étaient meilleur que le reste. Repas sans intérêt, fade et sans saveur, vin de même. Mais merci pour la rapidité du service, malgré les aliments trop cuit... Petit chat mignon, mais ne compense pas le prix exorbitant, contrairement aux autres resto, et pour lequel ils quémandent le pourboire.

Buena localización, y buen servicio pero comida muy regular. En mi caso pedí bacalao a la brasa, lo cual, era la especialidad que estaba malísimo y muy seco.

Small outdoor terrace in a quite steep street. The food is good and affordable. Totally recommended the garlicky shrimps
