Love this shop, not to expensive, great design clothing, I always end up buying something..

I shopped at this store on 2 occasions while in Lisbon. I really love the clothes; however, I found the staff to be stand offish, pretentious and downright RUDE. My money is the same as anyone's else's, regardless of where I come from. For some reason, the Portugese don't understand this and treat tourists badly. I felt very uncomfortable everytime I visited the store. Very disappointing experience.

Acabei de sair da loja Massimo Dutti do Chiado onde assisti a uma funcionária e o seu colega a gozar comigo depois de lhe ter pedido (educadamente) para me trazer uma camisa do armazém que estivesse em melhores condições do que a que estava exposta. Ela com certeza achou o meu pedido ridículo e pensando que não estava a prestar atenção agiu de forma muito pouco profissional. Infelizmente o atendimento no Chiado é uma questão de sorte no que diz respeito à simpatia. É claro que vim de lá sem a camisa e sem vontade de voltar.

Adoro a roupa, mas o atendimento aqui em Lisboa, com raras excepções, é de uma antipatia inacreditável. Parece que as meninas estão formatadas para serem mal educadas, altivas e desconfiadas. Não há paciência.

This store is very awful. The employees are unfriendly and the service is very bad. So I do not recommend this store to anybody. If you really want to buy clothes in a shop, with helpful and friendly employees is this the wrong place.

Worst experience of my life... I tried something on and wanted to buy it. Unfortunately half of the lights where broken or flimmering and no one cared about it. After asking if i could return it if I did not like it in normal light the assistant manager said- sure no problem! I came back to the store 2 days later, as i needed to return it because it did not look good in real light - they just told me that something like that was not possible. If I tried it on in the store and the size was fitting - they did not care if I did not like the style afterwards. Clothes were nice, but the staff was just horrible and unfriendly. Never Ever Again....

Have visited a lot of stores in Lisbon and bought a lot of things from different clothing brands. But this one is with distance the most horrible service I got!!! The situation is as follows: i bought this jacket for 200 Euros 7 days ago. After the second try, I decided to open the side pockets, which were sewn shut. And WOW: i identified a hole in my right pocket. "Okay no problem" - that was my thought. Deffects could happen. So, i took my time, and drove back to that store. Funny thing of a store, the employees told me, it isnt a deffect. Thus, they cannot change it. The only thing, they can do is to sew it together. The gentleman told me, it will lasts 3 days. Me - as a tourist in Lisbon - of course, mate. I dont have nothing to do, to come back and plan my whole stay in lisbon according to your horrible return policy. After 10 minutes of discussion with 3 employees of that store, they call someone else. The decision stayed the same: Sewing it together. Personally, for me. I dont want to see that jacket anymore. I paid 200 euros, wore this jacket 2 times and identified some defects. The way, how they treat me was not good and such a service is not worth to be rewarded. Me - my family - and my friends will have our distance of the whole massimo dutti brand! You have lost us customers!!!!!

A loja é bonita, as coleções são razoáveis (um tanto monótonas), os funcionários são distantes e por vezes mesmo antipáticos. Se fossem mais atenciosos seguramente venderiam mais.

Gosto imenso da roupa desta loja. Sempre que passo pelo Centro Comercial Vasco da Gama, a visita é obrigatória. Empregados atentos, prestáveis, eficientes e super simpáticos. Aconselho a visita.

Visitor from Canada. Purchased men's topstitched nappa leather jacket. Fantastic quality and style! Wear it everywhere I go. Staff at this location were extremely friendly, helpful and patient. As I was running close to boarding time, they even called a cab for me to the airport. Excellent service.

La tienda es igual que todas pero aquí hay un vigilante de seguridad que nada más entrar te dice con cara de pocos amigos que el perro tienes que llevarlo en brazos. La primera vez que me pasa en una ciudad europea. Una lástima.

Doesn't Massimo dutti have training session for employees on how to help their customers? The employee that helped us was talking about us just next to us to another employee like "chineses asked new product blah blah.." How do you know we are chinese? To top it off, the cashier didn't even make eye contact when I paid. Do you guys always act that much arrogant to all customers? Or just don't pay them enough to care about waiting well in customers.

My wife made an hour shopping and I sat on a bench taking care to put nicely aside a piece of clothe to find a place There was no chair at the first floor and I could obviously not keep standing that long. The clerk that held the casher came after a while to chase me, shouting at me in portuguese, which I do not understand. I wanted to leave the shop but the seller in charge of my wife proposed eventualy a chair and apologized in behalf of the other clerk, which never did. I felt terrible. I did not feel repected as a customer. Are we happy with the way clients are treated here ? No. Shall we come back again ? Definitively not.

I was told I could no longer shop (when I was already in the store!) 5 minutes before close. No questions of if they could help me find something in a rush, or even a gentle reminder of 5 minutes remaining. Just a simple, "mam, we are closed, no more shopping". I love this brand and I've never been given such poor customer service.
