I had the best food experience here during my travel. Food is incredible. Landlord extremly welcoming.

Great place, obviously for locals (no menu and the landlord doesn’t speak any English). Regardless, food is awesome and the landlord is a beautiful, welcoming person. Go there you’ll not regret it.

This was a real find but so glad I got lost and ended up here for lunch. I don’t speak any Portuguese but the elderly couple went out of the way to communicate with me. I had some delicious sardines that were grilled outside (the smell was what drew me in) and a salad and potatoes. It was delicious, the vibe cosy, local and authentic. I’ll definitely be back!

L’entrée des lieux peut surprendre mais n’ésiter pas à rentrer ! Cuisine authentique, à prix très abordable , avec toutes petites salle et une gentillesse des propriétaires installé ici depuis 30 ans

Si quieres comer casero y a buen precio este es el mehor sitio ppr la zona Anjos / Martim Moniz. Tipico portugues. Recomendado el bitoque y el bacalao.

É só pessoas não recomendáveis ligadas ao tráfico e por hábito assaltam os incautos. É preciso muito cuidado neste local e imediações.

Was looking for a different place, but found this one that didn’t have any signage. It was a GREAT find though! so well priced and delicious fish. The owner even pulled out a little book of fish to show me what he had on hand. Too cute. Got a whole dorado and a small water for 8.50 (also comes with bread, salad, and olives!). Really lovely.

Its maybe unexpected place to search for good kitchen, but the dishes are exceptionally good-tasting, fresh fish and meat garnished with awesome steamed vegetables. The owner is extremely nice and hospitable

Very local place with delicious food. Just ask what they got :). I had seabass with boiled potatoes. Salad, bread and vine. Paid for everything including 2 wines 8,5€. Food was delicious. It was many locals having dinner/beer and wine there.

I might be a bit biased concerning this place as to me it is a second home but I will keep it short and simple: In case you're searching for real Portuguese hearty food, the way it was cooked by our grandmothers then this is the place. Do not expect half assed gourmet "typical" food, this is the real deal. Prices for each dish will be under 6€ and more often than not even under 5€. The owners, Sr Zé and Dona Laurinda, are adorable and even if there might be some sort of language barrier there will never ever be a problem when food is on the table.

Un accueil très chaleureux et une cuisine simple et authentique. J'y ai retrouvé les saveurs des mets que me faisait autrefois ma maman (je suis d'origine portugaise).

Super restaurant typique, un service qui se plie à toutes nos exigences, les propriétaires très sympas. La convivialité, la cuisine simple et délicieuse en font un incontournable si vous logez dans le coin. Bien moins cher qu'un fast food, étant d'origine portugaise je me sens comme à la maison

Tout petit resto qui ne paye pas de mine, mais ça vaut le coup d'y entrer : cuisine typique faite devant vous par madame, service chaleureux assuré par monsieur. Repas copieux, délicieux et pas cher. En tout on s'en est tiré pour 17 euros à deux avec boissons pain etc. A tester impérativement !
