Creme brûlée was so runny it was like liquid....when I told the waiter it wasn’t set and very runny I was rudely told that this is how a creme brûlée was. I told her that I had many creme brûlée’s and they are not liquid like this, she insisted I must just not like it and this is what they were. Don’t waste your time or money, the rudest service I have ever come across. Despite the dessert being so runny it was inedible, when I told them I couldn’t eat it the dessert was whisked away and then I was told
If I didn’t pay for it they would call the police. For a dessert which cost €2.90. The whole experience was disgusting and I would absolutely avoid this restaurant at all costs. The attitude of the staff was even more disappointing than the food itself. So many other options in Lisbon and this one is terrible!!!

Wenn wir in Lissabon sind, suchen wir immer wieder gerne dieses Restaurant auf und sind noch nie enttäuscht worden. Die Speisekarte ist überschaubar, aber deshalb ist es wohl auch möglich, einen gleichbleibend guten Standard zu halten.

Dès que je rends visite à la merveille Lisbonne je mange au moins une fois à ce restaurant. C'est comme à la maison, repas délicieux et surtout ils font mon dessert préféré le doce de casa !! J'en ai l'eau à la bouche.. En plus ce n'est pas cher du tout !! Bref, j'adore ce restaurant !

Petit établissement familial avec un excellent rapport qualité/prix. Le poulpe grillé était excellent pour seulement 12 euros ! Le dessert "spécialité" est une tuerie. Le service est discret et agréable. Je recommande ! Bon appétit

Restaurante pequeño con una atención superatenta y rápida. Muy amables. Buena comida a buen precio, unos 25€/persona con plato principal, vino, postre, cafe, pan y chupito. Yo pedí el plato del día, arroz caldoso con pulpo, muy rico, 12€ el plato. El postre de la casa está exquisito.

Comimos bien, sobretodo muy rica la alheira (salchicha de pollo y pan), camareros amable y local tranquilo, en pleno barrio alto.

Restaurant in the touristic center of Lisboa. So, it's very difficult to find a good restaurant. The main dishes are typical from there but not amazing in this restaurant and in small quantity. The staff is not kind.
So my advice is to leave Lisboa center to try restaurant in Alfama which are very very good !

The tuna steak was very good, but the sardine was really too salty. When I had the first bite of the sardine, I felt as if I swallowed a big piece of salt. The mixed vegetable salad on the hand was too flat, no dressing at all. The service was good. Maybe we just ordered wrong dishes...

Service rapide mais plats de piètre qualité, frites surgelées molles, salade mixte sans goût et servi sans vinaigrette. De plus, surprise à l'addition : les prix affichés n'incluent pas la TVA. Peut-être que les plats de poissons sont plus intéressants, sans quoi je ne comprends pas la note globale de 4.0 de cet établissement.

Posto piccolo ma molto accogliente, praticamente in centro, abbiamo mangiato molto bene e i prezzi sono contenuti!!! Bisogna solo essere molto attenti a tutto quello che ti portano in tavola, che tu non hai richiesto xché se non lo rifiuti poi te lo ritrovi nel conto!

My favorite restaurant in Lisbon, everything is tasty and feels homemade. Prices are very good and service is great and friendly.
I recommend the picanha, salmon and also the red sangria. Today we tried the "house's dessert" and really enjoyed it.

Essen war ok, nette Atmosphäre, günstige Preise. Achtung, es werden zu Beginn Brot, Käse und Oliven an den Tisch gebracht, die anschließend mit ca. 8€ auf der Rechnung stehen. Das sollte man am besten vorher wissen :)

Bon produits ! Service bien, mais attrape touristes dans le sens où le fromage soit disant offert est facturer, plusieurs surprises à prévoir à la note finale (carafe de vin échangée contre bouteille) pour une note de 30€ rajouter 10€ de plus ! En mauvaises surprises !

Una estafa para turistas. La calidad no era mala, pero nos sacaron dos cestas de pan y una aceitunas que NO pedimos. Las cervezas ridículamente caras. Salimos muy indignados porque no queríamos gastar mucho y menos sin ser conscientes. Espero que mejoren en esta acción, porque sin duda vamos a decirle a quien nos lo recomendó que deje de recomendárselo a los turistas.

Mal sabor de boca.
A pesar de que la comida estaba muy buena y el precio no es caro en general, es un detalle muy feo que cobren el pan (y caro) y las aceitunas por separado. Muy descontentos.

Un des meilleurs restaurant de Lisbonne !! Je les connais depuis des annnees ... et là qualités des produits frais n’a pas changé depuis toutes ces années ... les patrons sont supers les employés cool !!! La cuisine est bonne ... ceux qui se plaindront alors c’est qu ils sont des habitués aux fast food ou la cuisine industrielle!!! Tout est bon !!!

Kuchnia portugalska może nie należy do moich ulubionych, ale jak się ją dobrze przyżądzi, to da się zjeść. Restauracja na poziomie jednak potrawy zupełnie nie powalają. Kupiliśmy 4 różne i każdą jedna była tylko zjadliwa gdy jest się głodnym.

Too expensive for average food and meager portions. Drinks are overpriced too. I guess this is a feature of this area of Lisbon, but if you are willing to get a few hundred meters away from the hubbub you can get much nicer food for a fraction of the price.

Das Essen und die Getränke vor allem die Sangria sind sehr lecker und die Bedienung aufmerksam und freundlich. Die Preise sind günstig, wenige Sitzplätze im Freien vorhanden. Parkmöglichkeiten lediglich nur selten zu finden.

Позарились на большое количество наград перед входом и демократичные цены. Бесит впаривание стартеров в виде сыра за 4 евро и хлеба за 1,5. Порции маленькие. Стейк из тунца микроскопический. Вся домашняя атмосфера, на которую ссылаются отзывы развеялась как дым. Не рекомендуем. Рядом полно мест с отличной кухней.

Incredible local place. Best grilled fish I have tried in Lisbon, seasoning and the way it was cooked was top, just top! The waiter or the owner (can't tell it seems like a family run place) spoke English, Portuguese, French and Italian and could randomly switch between them all - super hospitable aswell. Lovely dessert, the simple specialty of the house condensed milk dessert was a particularhighlight. Give them a visit!

Great place to eat! We had the set lunch for €8.50 which included a drink and coffee, main dish and bread and olives. We had one meat and one fish dish, really tasty and good value. The meat was pork chops with rice, chips and a salad. And the fish was a white fish in a tasty tomato pepper sauce. Friendly staff, would highly recommend. Lots of local workmen in there having their lunch so knew it must be good!

Ottimo per una cena tipica, staff molto cordiale. Il miglior caffè che io abbia bevuto in Portogallo, assolutamente migliore di molti bar italiani. Unica nota dolente, aveva finito una pietanza richiesta ma arrivandoci tardi è giustificabile. In due: un antipasto, due piatti principali, un dolce, due caffè, acqua e una bottiglia di vino di media fascia. 50€ circa. Onestissimo per qualità e servizio.

Un restaurante pequeño pero magnífico. Los precios están muy bien, no son muy elevados , merece mucho la pena para los platos tan exquisitos que te ofrecen. La cantidad es perfecta para comer una persona y todo tiene un sabor espléndido. Los postres también velan la pena! Os recomiendo el postre de la casa.

Personalmente no me gustó el trato, fue muy cortante, pedimos 2 platos de pulpo para cuatro porque queriamos compartir y nos dijeron con mala cara que los platos eran individuales. Al final los pusieron pero sólo trajeron 2 platos para servirnos. El pan carisimo y los botellines de agua tambien.

Ci sono molti ristoranti nella zona, ma questo non ha la lista d’attesa. Non abbiamo capito perché visto la qualità dei piatti che abbiamo mangiato per un prezzo molto più che onesto. Carne e pesce sono cucinati alla griglia ma c’è molta varietà. Il polpo si scioglie in bocca e l’orata è saporita e molto piacevole al palato. Vino bianco al calice fresco e profumato per coronare il tutto. La proprietaria e il personale sono gentili e sanno come farsi capire nelle diverse lingue. Il clima è intimo e accogliente, come la casa di un vecchio amico. Il conto vi lascerà increduli, in positivo naturalmente.

Pequeño pero agradable restaurante lisboeta. Platos sencillos con productos de calidad y precios contenidos. Recomendable si vienes a Lisboa y paseas cerca de Carmo.
PD.: la reseña fue editada antes de pagar la cuenta. Las jarras de cerveza a 4.5 euros, una botella de agua con gas 4.5, el entrante de aceitunas 1.5, el pan 1.7 y un queso de untar 4.95. Te dicen que si no lo tocas no te cobran. Al final, una ensalada, el pan, las aceitunas, el queso de untar, dos platos del día de atún plancha y uno de picanha, sin postres ni cafés....casi 60 euros!!!

Ceny okej, nie jest to najtańsze miejsce jakie znajdziecie w Portugalii ale są konkurencyjne w stosunku do innych knajp w okolicy.
Obsługa bardzo uprzejma, posługuje się łamanym angielskim ale idzie się dogadać.
Ważna informacja: przystawki są podawane bez pytania o nie i są doliczane do rachunku. Jeśli ktoś nie chce ich kosztować wystarczy to zaznaczyć na wstępie. podczas składania zamówienia.
Ogólnie miejsce przypadło mi do gustu. Z czystym sumieniem daję 5 gwiazdek :)

Bon service sympa et rapide. De quoi vous nourrir pour pas cher et très bon à mon goût. Apparemment au Portugal le fait de présenter des extras qui s'additionnent à la fin du repas sont une habitude d'après les guides, donc il vaut mieux se renseigner un peu. Mais le fromage de brebis du début de repas avec un petit rouge portugais ouvrent forcément l'appétit. ;) Merci à l'équipe qui fait des efforts pour nous comprendre!

Le serveur est clair lorsqu'il mets le fromage en entrée sur la table avec le pain il explique bien que on ne le paye uniquement que si on le consomme.ceci dis après hésitation nous l avons manger. Posto piccolo ma molto accogliente, praticamente in centro, abbiamo mangiato molto bene e i prezzi sono contenuti!!! Bisogna solo essere attenti a tutto quello che ti portano in tavola e che se non rifiuti poi te lo ritrovi nel conto!

Ils font gonfler la note et mettant du pain sur la table sans te prévenir qu'il sera facturé puit te propose un fromage qui est surfacture!

Ne vaut même pas une étoile. Un restaurant attrape touriste qui vous facture des entrées "offertes par la maison ". Sentiment qu'ils veulent faire tourner les tables. Pas le temps de manger son entrée que le plat est servi. Du coup vous le mangez froid. Service limite . Pas d'amabilité. A éviter absolument

Deux serveurs accueillants sans en faire trop( ne pousse pas à la dépense). Des plats portugais typique de très bonne qualité. Les bifteck de veau fondent dans la bouche. Des demi litre de bière servis au prix d'un verre. Desserts fait maison (ce qui est rare!). Je recommande.

Bonne cuisine mais peu de choix et vérifiez bien la note en fin de repas (on nous a facturé des choses en plus et ensuite prétendu qu'il y avait une erreur au moment précis ou on a regardé le détail du ticket)

A family business where comfortable and honest Portuguese cuisine is served with a smile and with correct prices. The restaurant is populated by locals which is definitely a good sign ;-)

Fantastic small restaurant nestled on the top corner of a street. The food was fresh and clean, just what we were looking for. Steps away from the tourist gaggle though not out of anyone’s way. Service was with a smile and a sense of pride from and owner that I haven’t seen in a long time. Definitely worth your stop.

Went here for dinner on the recommendation of a local. The food was good - kebabs and tuna. Adequate portions and very reasonably price. I ordered the goat cheese covert directly from the menu. The waiter instead brought a sheep's cheese that he said was a regional specialty. He said he would take it back if we didn't like it. I witnessed him doing this at all the tables, pushing the off the menu cheese. I had a taste. It was truly awful - a sour, rancid-like taste. I asked again for the goat cheese I had ordered, which he then brought. Exactly to my taste. Then when I got the bill, both cheeses were on it, the horrible sheep's cheese at higher cost than the goat cheese from the menu. I stated that I never ordered the more expensive cheese and that he had told us he would take it back if we didn't like it. He said that we misunderstood - that once we tasted it ge couldn't re-sell it. I was going to refuse to pay, actually hoping he would call the police so that I could expose this scam. But I decided to not make a scene, just pay, leave no tip, and leave.

Un sitio pequeño sin mucha gente, con camareros que atienden muy correctamente. Platos tradicionales portugueses cocinados como en casa. Y eso sí, el postre de la casa es una delicia!

Posto molto carino con le pareti decorate da colorati azulejos. Il personale parla anche italiano e sebbene il locale si trovi in zona estremamente turistica la qualità del cibo è buona e i prezzi contenuti. Consigliato il manzo con crema di Porto e Caffè e la Salsiccia di pollo. Ottima soluzione per un buon pranzo in centro.

We have already left the restaurant ( 4 families, 8 adults and 7 children) , this was the best meal in Lisbona we ate. The best tuna steak I have ever tried (special of the day), and stunning grilled veal, and picanha steak. Really nice and kindly staff. Great localization. I fall in love with this place

Bonne table pour manger pas trop cher mais attention à la proposition du patron qui vous dépose sur la table une "suggestion " pour découvrir une spécialité locale .... il ne s'agit pas d'une dégustation gratuite ..... et la manière de faire de la part du patron est un peu ambigüe..... mon conseil: dite vous que chaque chose apportée sur la table vous sera facturée.... le pain aussi !!!

Just another tourist trap. The food was less than mediocre and the service was bad since the waiter not only was rude but also wanted to add dishes to our bill. They also brought us cheese and bread and although we said we ask for it, they charged it in the end. Avoid it

Non mi è piaciuto. Posto piccolo e carino, in un quartiere molto grazioso. Personale multilingue, che vuole solo far cassa senza neanche curarsi del servizio. E di cassa ne fanno...acqua 4 euro, pane (non richiesto) 1,50 euro, formaggio come antipasto (non richiesto) 5 euro. Per il resto, cibo nella norma, con questo piatto del giorno (tonno alla griglia)che, vedendo dalle recensioni precedenti, c'e praticamente sempre.

Hemos venido dos veces a Lisboa y la primera vez caímos en este lugar por casualidad. Nos gustó mucho, de tal manera que este año hemos vuelto con los niños.

This restaurant was recommended to us by our guide and we loved it for fresh local food well prepared. Part of the fun of traveling is trying local foods. As such, we ordered a few of the items he suggested and were pleased. The fresh local sheeps cheese that easily spreads on bread was delicious. We tried the grilled sardines ( work to eat but tasty) and seasoned chicken sausages in lamb casing that are also a local food. That with small bottle of local green wine, 1 beer, 2 salads and a dessert we shared was a bit over 40 Euros. All in all, an excellent local meal for a reasonable price.

J ai détesté ce lieu , le rapport qualité prix est médiocre ! Le service est trop rapide ( rendement oblige)j ai pris le thon avec 3 pomme de terre à l eau ! C était pas bon du tout! Attrape touristes !

L'objectif du Restaurant est clair, Faire le maximum de service par table en une soirée.
Résultat:
entrée plat en 25 minutes.
Nous n avons bien entendu pas pris de dessert.
La nourriture est très bonne mais on se sent clairement pressé.

Cosy restaurant, friendly staff but the food wasn't that great. We have had the Squids, the Codfish, the Grilled Tuna and the Beef de la Casa.
Squids were bit dry and flavorless, the Codfish was too salty and dry. Same for the Tuna. The steak was ok but not woaw.
It was perhaps a bad day in the kitchen.

Ready to stay a queue. Cheap. Sardines, swordfish, sweet Porto very nice. But what is really worth tasting is mango sorbet - big, sweet, beautifully smooth. But be careful nice cheese and bread that you will be brought without asking will be in cheque. And waiter is quick to take your unfinished meal;)

Food was OK. And the restaurant really cute, but they charged over 10€ additional for bread and cheese, we didn't order and we thought were complimentary. The prices are low, so it was unfair, but Ok.
