Super resto cuisine tres bonne et servi par la grand mere, plat de morue conseillé par la grand mere, le plat pour 2 avec un dessert pour 2 et une bouteille de vin vert, 39€.A conseiller attention local petit reserver. Liqueur a la cerise offerte.

Typical and small portuguese restaurant.
We had Cataplana marisco (shellfishs, red/green peppers, onions, garlic)cooked for 2 persons (45€) and it worthed it.
2 tables out of 5 occupied inside at 2:00pm on 17th November 2018.
Very nice and smiling waitress !

Sooo long to be served some fatty eggs (as the place is nearly empty), and to buy them some bread to be able to eat it. ( with ONE free glass of water). Hopefully, a ginja offered to digest.

Nous avons été chez mestre andre en nous basant sur les avis Google, Tripadvisor et suite aux conseils du guide Geo.
Il semblerait que les propriétaires aient changé puisque c'était une cuisine certes simple et Bonne mais peut être un peu trop.
Thon braise avec accompagnement sortis de boîtes de conserve... dommage pour un pays comme le Portugal. Les crevettes/gambas étaient assez bonnes.
Des desserts sortis du congel...
Un peu limite pour la note.
Par contre le cadre d'une petite rue de l'Alfama mérite une bonne note.

Very good bacalhau. We took pataniscas de bacalahau and they were very yummy. Then we took a grilled chorizo, very good also. The bacalhau a bras was also wonderful.

Very nice and not expansive food. Had to wait one hour to be served because the cooker burnt the chicken, good sign, they do care about the quality of the meal!

Pessima abbiamo consumato un piatto e preso i caffè 77 € in 4 pesce surgelato e scongelato in microonde il locale era vuoto ma non vi era scelta di cibi.abbiamo dovuto prendere quello che volevano loro.

We found this little restaurant opened on the Christmas night. The cataplana and several other dishes are all very well cooked and we feel delighted to have dinner here.

Really nice place in the middle of Alfama!! Very recommended! We had gazpacho, spicy shrimps and chicken.. Everything was deliciuous. The kitchen is open and you can see how the woman cooks everything fresh, for example the chips were home made and it was just perfect :)

We were looking for some authentic tapas/pesticos and were not disappointed! The food is incredible and all cooked using fresh ingredients. You can literally see them getting the ingredients from their pantry before cooking. The owner is very friendly and service was great. It's all very simple but we loved it because of that. Just be careful as you can easily sit at the other restaurant next door as they share outside seating.

Lovely waiter, great white wine. Clam appetizer dish was tasty. Octopus amazing and swordfish steak good. Lovely lemon mousse for dessert. Reasonably priced.

Food is lisbon is great. Food in Mestre, is not. The worst for me is the service. I understand something can go wrong with the food, but you always need to stay polite. Just choose another one.

O espaço é muito típico e acolhedor, realmente vale a pena experimentar!
A comida é muito boa, principalmente os petiscos que pedimos para dividir. Aconselho as amêijoas e os ovos mexidos com farinheira.
O atendimento é maravilhoso, com uma simpatia única. Parabéns!

Si trova ai piedi della salita del quartiere Alfama. E' un po' nascosto e piccolino come ambiente ma ne vale la pena. Lo staff è molto cordiale e capisce anche l'italiano. La cucina propone piatti tipici locali. A fine pasto, consiglio di farvi portare un bicchierino di Ginja, un tipico liquore portoghese fatto con le amarene .

Un petit restaurant qui ne paye pas de mine et qui fait couleur locale avec son impressionnante collection de Saint-Antoine.
Le soir où nous y avons dîné il n'y avait que des français !
La cuisine est traditionnelle et simple et réalisée presque sous vos yeux par deux dames visiblement efficaces et très sympathiques.
Je recommande vraiment pour sortir des restaurants courus de Lisbonne et pour goûter vraiment à l'authenticité de l'accueil des portugais !

Local, traditionnel, authentique, préparation minute, produit frais et pas cher. Tomber dessus pas hasard, petite terrasse, salle liliputienne 5 tables avec hôtel chargé de bondieuseries. Avons pris la bruscheta sardine 3.5 euros (recommandée 2 fois tellement c était bon). Et les pataniscas de morue servies avec riz au haricots rouges : une tuerie pour 9.5 euros. 4 énormes beignets de morue hyper croustillants avec de gros morceaux de poissons, sans arrêtes et peu de purée... contrairement à d autres endroits. Ok.. C est gras tout ça... Mais tellement bon et frais et préparé à la minute

Llegamos a las 14:30 y nos avisaron de que iban a tardar en servirnos y así fue, pues después de una hora y cuarenta y cinco minutos nos llegó el primer entrante. Estuvimos todo ese tiempo sentados sin comer nada. Cuando pedimos la cuenta intentaron cobrarnos de más aprovechando que eramos turistas, encima de que es sumamente caro. La comida está buena, pero no merece la pena el precio ni la espera.

Le cadre est simple, voire rustique, le patron est sympa mais pas exubérant pour un sou, il parle même français si on est sympa avec lui ;-)
En cuisine, c'est la mama qui dirige...c'est elle qui décide ce qui est servi quand. Les produits slnt frais, donc tout n'est pas toujours disponible. Un bon rapport qualité/prix. Sans chichis !

Petit restaurant qui partage sa terrasse avec le O Gallardo (ouvert en journée). En février, il fait encore un peu frisquet. Pas de souci car la sangria au vin blanc nous a bien réchauffé. Nous avons pris une planche de fromage bien fournie et des bruschettas canard et mozzarella : super avec des frites maison.

El menjar molt bo i l'atenció correcte malgrat els hi faltava personal. Millor no anar massa tard pq s'omple. Deixar-se aconsellar es una bona opció.

Restaurante pequeño pero acojedor. Comida típica portuguesa, todo riquísimo. Descubrimos el atún con plátano, muy bueno. La camarera encantadora. Merece la pena ir.

Wonderful small restaurant on a tiny street below Miradouro de Santo Estêvão. The food was excellent, atmosphere was like you were in someone's home with mama cooking for you. Loved it. Pure Portuguese food excellently prepared. The gazpacho was amazing served with a toast of fresh grilled sardine, onion, olive oil, and herbs. The grilled fish was fresh and delicious. The beef with mushrooms and cinnamon was huge and delicious. Great prices just off the tourist streets and great home cooked food!

I really can't recommend seeking out specific restaurants in Lisbon. There are just so many of them hidden in the twisting, turning streets of the city, that half the magic is picking a random new one for every meal.
That said, if you *did* have to pick out one, this would be the place. The host/server (I can't imagine there's more than one), was one of the most charming servers I've ever had. We also overheard him talking in at least 4 languages, which was incredible. And the matronly figure in the kitchen seems to have channeled her considerable grumpiness into the delicious food, because everything was excellent.
Especially noteworthy was the charcuterie and cheese board. Without a doubt, the best meat and cheese board I've had in my (admittedly limited) travels in Europe.

Mon restaurant préféré à Lisbonne.
Ce restaurant est vraiment excellent. Rien à dire. Une cuisine traditionnelle, des petits prix avec en moyenne 13€ euros par personne pour une entrée plat dessert avec du vin. Un serveur sympathique. Des plats excellents. De la cuisine traditionnelle. Et une carte différente. Bref je recommande à 200%. Un restaurant à faire sans hésiter !!

This restaurant serves lovely authentic home make food. We had the tasting menu. We left fully satisfied and the cost was reasonable. Happy to recommend it to people visiting the alfama.

Un restaurant fantastique. Des plats traditionnels faits maison par la maman. Un chef de salle passionné et d'une gentillesse sans fin. Le tout pour un prix tout doux. Oubliez les pièges à touristes. Ce petit resto est magnifique.

This is a small (like most places in Alfama) and very Portuguese restaurant with friendly staff and high quality food. We came for a quick dinner for three adults and one child. paid 48 Euro plus tip and left the place very full and very satisfied (one meal was boxed and taken away). Their juices are especially good, they are freshly made from the fruits or veggies (had apple and tomato). Also, I would recommend a taster plate for two for 19.50 euro. Would definitely come back.

Ein kleines Familienbetrieb mit viel Charme. Wir haben uns hier wohl gefühlt und wurden auch sehr freundlich bedient. Im Vergleich zu anderen Restaurants sind die Preise gut und das Essen hervorragend und reichlich. Haben uns zum ersten mal seit Tagen so gefühlt, als wären wir in Portugal angekommen.

We went there because it was close to our accommodation. Not the best food we had in Lisbon, but food felt as if we were eating a home cooked meal. Indeed he told us his mother is behind the kitchen. Really friendly and nice service.

I loved this place. Real local affair. Don't expect refinement or quick service, just lots of authentic good food and great value. We sat outside on New Year's Eve. The place is small on both the inside and outside with room for only a few tables. The waitress didn't speak any English but that didn't matter much, she was very friendly and sincere. We had the only option on the menu that night: the set menu of soup, salmon, pork and chocolate mousse. Yes, four courses; five, if you count the crab, feta appetisers and prawn salad at the start of the meal. All for a very reasonable sum. This place has lots of charm and you get to know your fellow guests in this friendly social atmosphere. These types of places should be cherished; compared to the tourist traps closer to the centre, they offer a much better experience - not contrived at all.

Apesar da boa comida (ronda de 10 petiscos à portuguesa), desaconselho este restaurante. Fui com um voucher e, alegadamente por esse motivo, colocaram-nos num cubículo minúsculo no fundo da sala de jantar. Caso estivesse cheio até compreendia mas a sala esteve vazia durante toda a duração do jantar... A juntar a isso, a dona e os empregados fazem comentários desajustados acerca de outros clientes... É pena que por pequenos pormenores, o restaurante dei-te tudo a perder!

Dos piores restaurantes que já fui... A dona do restaurante é extremamente mal educada. A comida é má... Para cada pessoa um ovo de coderniz, uma fatia de presunto, uma fatia de queijo, 2 bocadinhos de pão, etc...
MUITO MAU MESMO!!!
