Probably our favourite place to eat while staying in Lisbon, my partner and I came to eat here for lunch out on the patio and came back for supper another night to listen to some Fado music. It was a magical evening and the food is simply amazing. Get the mushroom and chicken pastry sandwich, it's to die for. The duck rice is just as amazing. Either that or get an array of tapas so as to try a little bit of everything. Loved the customer service and ambiance as well.

Food was absolutely monging, overpriced and flavourless. Decor was smelly and tatty. Whole place looked like it needed a good wash.

Fantastic food and very friendly attentive staff. Prices are reasonable. We paid 23 euros per person with wine and dessert.
The fado was very atmospheric and good. Unfortunately some people talk while it's on. A very pleasant evening.

Das Tapas sind echt lecker und auch die Lokation macht echt was her. Im gemütlichen Innenraum etwas unter dem Gehweg versetzt mit altem Brotbackofen.
Leider hat die Bedienung den tollen Effekt deutlich verringert. Hat uns ca. 20 min. völlig ignoriert und war uns gegenüber ziemlich kühl.

Sehr schön eingerichtetes, traditionell und gut bürgerlich wirkendes Lokal mit nettem und zuvorkommendem Personal. Leider versprechen die auf Google vergebenen 4,1 Punkte Bewertung m. E. zu viel. Die Gerichte waren vom Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis leider eher schlecht. Mein von der Karte her versprochener „gratinierter Kabeljau mit Spinat und Gambas“ kamen sowohl geschmacklich als auch von konsistenz her als einheitliche, püriert anmaßende Masse (zwei kleine nicht entdarmte Gambas werteten das traurige Bild etwas auf - geschmacklich aber nicht überzeugend).
Leider ein Reinfall ...

Schlechter Service und für den Preis überteuertes essen. Das beste waren die Oliven und das Brot zu Beginn, ab dann ging es steil bergab. Auf das Essen mussten wir trotz wenig anderer Gäste ewig warten. Der Salat mit Ziegenkäse war klein, lieblos und zudem kalt. Auch die Sardinien waren nichts besonderes, das schönste daran war noch die Tellerform.

The food was not very good - the cod was over cooked and bony, the octopus was tender but quite salty and came with some pretty old lettuce. Overpriced, unfortunately would not recommend.

Local con mucho encanto, antiguo horno real que aún se conserva.
Cuando llegamos había una actuación en directo para amenizar la velada.
Servicio muy amable y atento.
Aconsejo pedir una especie de variado de varios tipos de bacalao.
Hay que llegar en taxi o andando, en esa zona no hay aparcamiento para coches.

Excellent accueil et très bonne musique d'ambiance. L'alchimie des lieux avec son cadre pitoresque et romantique a opéré. Le tout accompagné par un menu de morrues cuisinées de 4 façons différentes. Nous recommandons.

Comenzamos a cenar a las 20:30 y hasta las 23:00 no sacaron los platos principales. Los entrantes (un plato de aceitunas, un platito de chorizo y una “ensalada”) eran muy escasos y todos los platos de pésima calidad. Si a esto le sumas que el espectáculo comenzó 45 min más tarde de lo indicado y que el precio de la cena con el espectáculo es de 35€ por persona, es un lugar al que no recomiendaría a nadie.

Очень душевное фадо ) плата 35€, в нее входят закуски, основное блюдо (у нас был выбор из осьминога на гриле, трески и свинины запеченой) и литр вина на человека. Есть дополнительные платные напитки: сангрия, коктейли и тд. Зал маленький, но было классно!

20 € worth of dishes and water we did not order on the final bill. They just served us...apparently not on the house... beware. Also the wine we ordered was not available, they presented an alternative at the same price that happened to be way more expensive...beware².

Nos paramos porque es un local con encanto donde si cenas puedes oir música en directo en días concretos pero tras 5 copas de vino y una tapa de queso cobraron 36€ ...imposible recomendar cenar.
La relación calidad precio no es buena .
Ojo incomprensiblemente nos obligaron a pagar en efectivo.

The only reason I am not giving this place a 1 star rating is because the Brazilian guy who served us was so very hospitable and friendly. The food was not nice at all and they charged us for the Fado ( was not outrageous but this should be mentioned to guests ).

It looked such a lovely restaurant. What a disappointment. The food was terrible and overpriced. And they tried to charge me for pouring a little olive oil on my plate!! I argued about that and they removed it from our bill.

Pongo una estrella porque no se puede poner menos. Pedimos mejillones, gambas, filetes y bacalao de distintas maneras. De todo eso, lo único que nos gustó fueron las aceitunas del aperitivo. Los bacalaos secos, las gambas pasadas, los mejillones regulares... y algo había malo, porque 2 personas estuvieron con diarrea casi inmediatamente.. Nos cobraron la friolera de 270 euros por cenar MAL (de hecho, no cenamos). La típica historia del turista al que le timan.

Os pratos não agradaram muito. A sardinha e o bacalhau estavam sem sal e poucos temperos. Ambiente bem tradicional com apresentação de fado. Não indico para quem vai com os amigos para conversar. Deve - se ficar em silêncio para ouvir a apresentação.

We wanted to go somewhere to listen Fado as we were tourists. I must say both female and male the singers were absolutely fantastic. The food however was not something on the same level,we ate much better on some much other places, however wine was really great as well as entry food. I was a bit disappointed with our main meals. It was Friday evening.

Un endroit vraiment charmant pour passer une soirée, de la musique tout les soirs (et pas seulement du fado), des Bacalhau délicieux, super sangria, et une petite terrasse parfaite pour se poser. Bref ce resto/bar/tapas est vraiment super !

We did not eat here but stopped in on a Sunday night to share a bottle of wine and listen to some live Fado and had such a lovely experience. The room we were seated in was beautifully decorated and felt more like being invited into someone’s living room than into a restaurant. The staff was friendly and the service was superb. Then, the lights dimmed and the Fado began... what a treat!

Pas de cocktail sans alcool à la carte. Quand j'ai demandé un Virgin Mojito, on m'a dit oui pas de soucis, mais au final sur la note c'est un Mojito qui a été facturé et le serveur a confirmé que oui c'était le même prix 7€. En plus le Mojito était basic. Bref déçue

Die Preise für Fado scheinen recht willkürlich zu sein, bei uns wären es 35€ gewesen, darin wäre aber alles enthalten gewesen: essen, Getränke und Musik. Hatten aber nur Appetit. Die Tapas waren ok aber seeehr überschaubar für den Preis. Getränke waren teilweise komplett aus.. ein großes Lob an Charlotte, unsere super sympathische Kellnerin!! Wegen des Essens sollte man dort wahrscheinlich nicht hin.

Parfait, un grand merci a tous les employés!! ils ont été si gentil et agréable. Nous avons pris le repas à 35€ avec l'option fado et tout compris!! ça vaut le prix ( très raisonnable par rapport a ce qu'on peut trouver autre part) et un plaisir ! j'y étais la semaine dernière avec ma mère on on s'est régalé!! c'est très très copieux et très très bon !! ca vaut vraiment le coup, l'ambiance est si conviviale et les chanteurs très doué!!

Great experience for a fado night concert. Both singers (Daniela and Joao) have fantastic voices. In the same evening was my son's birthday and they sung happy birthday to him, offered a cake with candels for free and gave us a rebate on the price for the child. Very helpful, very nice, we really appreciated it. Food was also good even if they changed the menu on the last moment. We chose octopus and bacalhau, both very good. Thanks! Daniela from Bucharest

Llegamos de casualidad y nos sedujo el hambre y las ganas de cenar escuchando fado. A las 20:00 empiezan a servir la comida y entre los descansos entre plato y plato cantaban 3-4 fados. Por 35€ cada uno tuvimos. Una botella de vino blanco y otra de agua y aceitunas con pan - fados - sopa de verdura y pescado - fados - ensalada de pulpo y ensalada de bacalao - fados - plato principal (a elegir entre entre bacalao, pulpo y pato)- fados. Nosotros elegimos pato y pulpo y nos gustó. Cuando llegamos estaba vacío y eso casi nos echa para atrás pero salimos contentos. El único pero es que no se puede pagar con tarjeta.

I honestly hate writing bad reviews but I couldn’t ignore this one. I have to say horrible, horrible service! The worst I’ve ever encountered and I always give people the benefit of the doubt. I think our waitress was drunk or high or something. My husband and I walked in and we were the only ones there. I think they were just opening for dinner but they said we could come in and eat. The first lady we saw was great and got our drink order but somehow our servers switched and we got this lady that looked high. We got seated by the first lady and after ordering our drinks we waited forever to be asked what we wanted to eat. My husband eventually got up to ask if we could order our food but the other server saw him first and asked how our food was. Umm we haven’t even ordered yet. Mind you, we speak Portuguese so it wasn’t a language barrier at all. She was eating in the other room but no biggie. She comes and asks what we want. We ordered two soups, two appetizers, and another drink for my husband. We got the soups and waited probably 10-15 minutes for the second drink and the rest of the food. The server even walked in the room not looking at us nor asking if we needed anything and still we are the ONLY ONES in the restaurant. Well I had to ask her if we could get my husband’s drink. She apologized and brought it over. 10 minutes after that we still hadn’t got the rest of the food and we were done with our soups. We said to hell with this, let’s just pay for the soups and leave and eat somewhere else. We got up to pay and she looked at me confused and didn’t realize I was the same customer just because I put a hat on and she said “Oh I thought you were a different customer.” THERE’S NO ONE ELSE THERE! We also came from the back part of the restaurant so how can I be someone else?! She starts tallying up the order and doesn’t even bother to ask why we didn’t wait for the rest of the food or why we’re leaving, nothing! It was like she didn’t even notice or care. After we paid my husband told her “just so you know we waited a really long time to get the food and you never brought it to us which is why we’re leaving.” To which she responded “well you guys are leaving so...” WHAT?! We’re leaving because your service sucks lady! I swear she was drunk or something. Her eyes looked stoned, she never smiled. It was bad. The soups were good, but never going there again as long as she works there!

Great evening, very nice music and singing. Dinner could have come a bit earlier (the main course came at around 22:30, after several starters). But it was fantastic!!! Service was good and we enjoyed the whole evening very much. I liked the fact that we heard several singers and the performance was in blocks, so we had time to eat, go out, etc. Thanks for the great evening.

Food was great but the service was absolutely terrible. Waited 20 minutes to get served for drinks, then another 20 to actually recieve them. That was pretty much how our night played out. It got to thr point that we made a sport out of it with the surrounding tables. Waited a further 20 minutes to receive the bill, ended up going to the counter and watched further buffoonery as they tried to work it out. Also no Fado music on a Sunday.

Najlepsze Fado w Alfamie! Czyli pewnie najlepsze na świecie..
Uczciwa opcja cenowa za wieczór z Fado, winem i potrawami.
Bardzo utalentowana gospodyni i dwóch gitarzystów. Wspaniały śpiew i perfekcyjne wykonanie. Przemiła obsługa. Jedzenie bardzo smaczne i solidne porcje.
Lokal staje się kameralnym wydarzeniem. Po zapełnieniu sali, dla około 30 gości pokaz Fado odbywa się w rodzinnej atmosferze. Trochę jak prywatny pokaz muzyczny.
Z gośćmi można porozmawiać w przerwach i cieszyć się klimatem. Podczas występów przygaszane jest światło. Całość robi niesamowite wrażenie!

Wir sind zufällig auf dieses Restaurant gestoßen und es hat uns super gefallen. Wir haben 4 Gänge, tollen Fado und portugiesische Gastlichkeit für 30€/ Person bekommen. Die Bedienung war sehr aufmerksam und ist auf Wünsche bezüglich des Essens eingegangen. Es war sehr lecker und die Darstellung war ebenfalls sehr sehenswert. Alles in allem eine authentische Erfahrung !

Excellent Fado show and good food! We walked into this restaurant only coincidentally because we were staying nearby, and were treated with a fixed menu (€30, including wine) that was interrupted with performances of several Fado singers. Intimate atmosphere, a friendly host who is also the main fado performer, and nice mix of tourists and Portuguese families. Also worth a detour if you want to listen to fado and not staying in the neighbourhood!

We went for tapas. The shrimps were good but a bit expensive. The other tapas were nice. They have wine& beers and also full menu with fado music. You can also sit outside or at inside area and hear the music out of dining room. Not so many tables to sit inside but cute & cozy decor, one minus for smokes inside.

Rental broke down here Saturday. Spent an enjoyable 4 hours on the deck. Back now for an evening of Fado. delicious food, great atmosphere, outstanding evening.

Great food and drinks, with reasonable prices. We ate on the patio with the sun beaming on us. I'd recommend anything with prawns.

My first Fado experience... A nice cozy venue. The performance by the mother and daughter Fado singers was exceptional. The food was ok, but that's not really what you're going for.

Fado war gut, familiäre Atmosphäre jedoch konnten wir es absolut gar nicht genießen, da der Service grottenschlecht war!
Zu aller erst wurde unsere Bestellung vergessen und wir mussten fast eine Dreiviertelstunde auf kalte Tapas warten! Nachdem die Kellnerin nicht mehr erschien und wir uns bei einem zweiten Kellner erkundigen wo unser Essen bleibt, wurde uns nach unzähligen Entschuldigungen das Essen 10 min. vor der Sperrstunde serviert und nebenbei die Tische schon geputzt und für den nächsten Tag vorbereitet, das wirklich sehr störend war!
Beim Bezahlen hat uns der Kellner um 5€ zu wenig rausgegeben!! Bei so viel Aufregung bei unserem romantischen 3 Jahres Jubiläum haben wir uns zumindest eine Preisermäßigung erhofft!
2 Sterne nur, da der Wein gut war.

Hemos comido toda la familia en la bodega realmente bien. Lugar fresco, acogedor, sin mucha gente y donde el portugués come en familia. Hemos comido un pulpo y unas alitas de pollo realmente buenas. Si estas por esa zona, está es una buena opción.
