We found Pedro while searching through wedding blogs, and his photographs instantly stood out from the others. His artistic approach and ability to capture priceless moments would have been irreplaceable. We knew we wanted Pedro to be the one to shoot our wedding as soon as we met him and his wife, Helena. We instantly connected with them and knew they would be the perfect team for us! Our first experience shooting with Pedro was our engagement shoot in Lisbon. It all just felt very natural. The day was perfect, we strolled through Lisbon seeing parts of the city we had never seen. Pedro Vilela is an outstanding photographer! Myself and my wife got married in Quinta Sant'Ana last year and Pedro has made the memories so much better! From meeting with us prior to our wedding, the boys getting ready in Ericeira and to the intimate shots of my wife getting ready and off course the event itself, Pedro left no stone unturned. Pedro is amazing! He recently shot our wedding in Sintra. Prior to the wedding--communicating with him was a breeze. When it came wedding day--he was so friendly and easy to interact with, he naturally incorporated himself into the wedding with the guests, that his shooting was not intrusive at all. Pedro is an absolute master with his camera and subjects. We hired him for our engagement and wedding photography at Penha Longa in Portugal, and were blown away by his professionalism, his passion for what he does, and the quality of the photos. Each and every image that he provided was stunning - he captured our brief with precision, and whilst the photos are all very intimate and real, never once did we feel that he was intrusive during the wedding ceremony or after party. If we ever have an event here in the UK, I would fly Pedro over in a heartbeat, as he is by far (and this isn't just me being bias) the best occasion photographer that we have come across. A friend of mine showed me some wedding pictures from Pedro and my future husband and I were sure that we don't want any other wedding photographer. The problem: Pedro lives in Lissabon and our wedding should be in Linz, Austria. But knowing Pedro that is not a problem. He didn't hesitate and promised us to come to Austria. From the very first moment we liked Pedro very much (it was like talking to an old friend) and we enjoyed the work with him. The pictures he made of our wedding were fantastic and showed exactly what we felt on that day. For us, Pedro is the best wedding photographer we could image.
