Nettes Hotel auf der Rückseite der Burg, in lebhaften Viertel mit vielen Restaurants, Kneipen u kleinen Geschäften. Hinreißend die Mitarbeiterin Maria, die sich mit Weinen u Portos wunderbar auskennt, tolle Tipps gibt u einem mit Hingabe berät. Gerne wieder. Thomas

Had a fabulous time in Lisbon, very nice to come back to such a lovely hotel. The terrace off the room was a great place to have a glass of wine before heading out to dinner. Gosta da Castello about 10 steps from the hotel was awesome. We arrived late one night and the hotel called to see if they could take us. Had such a great meal after a very long flight from from California that we went back our last night in Lisbon. The staff are friendly, the cooks great, the owner very personable. The hotel will call taxis for you and make your stay very easy. Highly recommend the hotel and the neighboring restaurant.

Although the property had a great view, it was overpriced and the breakfast was horrible. The dining area had flies flying around and the tables were not clean. Would not recommend.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden , Zimmer sehr groß und schön , Wasserkocher auf dem Zimmer mit Tee und Kaffee,Hotel liegt Ober auf dem Berg sehr schön Aussicht, die Fahrt zum Hotel ein Erlebnis Frühstück super alles da was man braucht. Gerne wieder.

Hübsches Kleines Hotel inmitten des alten Stadtteil. Zu Fuss mit viel Treppensteigen erreichbar oder mit dem Taxi. Netter Empfang mit einer sehr guten, netten Einführung über die Touristenattraktionen.

Ruhiges Hotel am Rande der Altstadt, sehr günstig gelegen um das Stadtteil Alfama und das Castelo zu erkunden.Freundliches, sehr hilfsbereites Personal, große, gut ausgestattete Zimmer, tolles Frühstücksbüffet.Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen wieder.

Hôtel plein de charme, particulièrement bien placé contre la muraille du Castello, entre Alfama et Mouraria ,les quartiers historiques et populaires, pittoresques, où l'on écoute du fado et mange à tous les prix. Chambres à l'élégance discrète, sans clinquant, où l'on trouve toutes les commodités. Personnel souriant, accueillant, efficace. Excellent petit déjeuner.
Et la vue depuis la chambre aux immenses baies vitrées est fabuleuse ! Bref, on se sent chez soi...à Lisboa la belle aux sept collines et aux siècles de culture.

Das Hotel liegt sehr günstig in Alfama und ist trotzdem sehr ruhig. Wir hatten ein schönes großes Zimmer und waren auch mit dem Frühstück zugrieden. Insgesamt war es ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt in Lissabon.

Bit of a climb from train station (taxi is available) but well worth the effort. Super room with huge balcony on 3rd floor. Excellent breakfast. Very informative receptionist and friendly staff throughout.

This is such a beautiful hotel, we had a large terrace room with a wonderful view of the city. The staff were very helpful with our questions around transit and directions and acknowledge our honeymoon which was very nice. We had the room service which was good. Their buffet breakfast was good with basic staples you find at EU hotels (eggs, bacon, beans), fresh fruit, juice and coffee. I didn't realize how much I appreciated the little touches until we were at our next hotel in Lagos. Olissipipo provides slippers, robes, a sewing kit, all which came in handy. The location is definitely a trek, it was a little frustrating at first but you quickly fall in love with the charm of Alfama/Lisbon and their crazy streets. You'll definitely get your exercise in.

Estuve este Agosto con una amiga. Además de estar en el barrio de Alfama para mi el más bonito de Lisboa. La habitación del hotel era preciosa. Con unas vistas espectaculares. Muy tranquilo. Solo puedo decir que fué una estancia maravillosa. El staff del hotel muy amables. Si vuelvo a Lisboa desde luego volveré al mismo hotel

Ótimo hotel. Bastante confortável, silencioso e com funcionários atenciosos. Encravado no centro histórico de Lisboa. O café da manhã (opcional à diária) é limitado. Sugiro tomar café da manhã cada dia em um dos muitos cafés, restaurantes e padarias da vizinhança. São muitas e ótimas opções e conhece-se melhor o bairro. Não recomendo o hotel para quem tem limitações físicas. Ruas de paralelepípedo, calçadas estreitas, tráfego de veículos intenso e muitas, muitas ladeiras. A rua do hotel, particularmente, tem trânsito restrito a carros de moradores e táxis. Algumas vezes a polícia não permitiu que o motorista do Uber subisse para nos deixar ou mesmo buscar. Apesar da localização turística não temos do que reclamar da segurança. Policiamento quase à porta do hotel.

Good hotel with big, clean rooms. Walking distance to Alfama and the commercial district, but it's hard to get to if driving, with no parking and construction all around at the moment. If you plan on driving, call and see about reserving in their garage (which only holds 4 cars total).

The room and bathroom were spacious and clean and the AC worked wonderfully. The breakfast was delicious- especially the pastries and fruit- and definitely worth the charge. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The hallways were a bit stuffy and didnt seemed to be air conditioned, but that was truly a minor issue. The hotel location is great- just a few steps from cafes and shopping, but on a quiet street with a lovely view.

Très déçue avec mon époux.
Chambres pas du tout insonorisées contrairement à ce qui est mentionné ( publicité mensongère) . On entend parfaitement bien les voisins ronfler même légèrement et on entend aussi les ébats amoureux. Imaginez les deux de chaque côté pour s'endormir ou dormir !
Connexion wifi très mauvaise et inexistante au 2ème étage où se situent les chambres les moins chères. Le Directeur souvent absent fera dire que c'est votre téléphone qui est de très moyenne qualité : ayez le dernier iphone à 2000 € ... en quelques sortes !!!...
CE N'EST PAS UN 4 ÉTOILES.
Tout juste un 3 voire même 2* +
Petit déjeuner correct mais pour un 3 étoiles.
Rapport qualité/ prix = CHER
Nous avons la chance de voyager beaucoup dans le monde depuis longtemps ; franchement croyez nous : HÔTEL A EVITER !!!

This hotel is in a great location, just behind the Sao Jorge Castle. Lots of small restaurants close by. The staff was very pleasant and knowledgeable. Rooms were spacious and clean with a large bathroom. A nice surprise for our room was a patio that overlooked the city. I would return in a heartbeat.

Love this hotel! We arrived after dark and our cab could not drive up to the private road. Loved this addition to our adventure - pulling our bags up to the front door! We were greeted promptly and professionally. Lovely hotel with enchanting views from private patio. Wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy all of the amenities. Will definitely stay here when visiting Lisboa next time!

The property is not much from the front but it’s a lovely charming small hotel, great views definitely ask for the 4th floor with great spacious rooms which give you everything you need.. we had support and great recommendations from the reception staff which made our stay even more enjoyable..

The decor is from the mid 90s or so, but in decent shape. Front desk staff is amazing!! Maybe the best ive met. Very helpful, knowledgeable, professional. Breakfast wasnt great but pretty much on par with continental breakfast at most hotels. Location is good, but always going uphill to get back.

Das Hotel befindet sich im Stadtteil Alfama, gleich unterhalb der Burg. Der Weg dorthin ist etwas steil, aber gut zu bewältigen. Die Zimmer sind sehr gut ausgestattet, groß, mit einem breiten, bequemen Bett. Das Mobiliar ist schon etwas älter, aber sehr gepflegt. Das Bad ist groß mit guten Abstellmöglichkeiten und top sauber. Wir hatten eine kleine Terrasse im 3. Stock mit Blick auf die Stadt und Sitzmöglichkeiten. Das Frühstück wird in der Hotellobby eingenommen, war sehr gut, vollkommen ausreichend und es wurde ständig aufgefüllt. Das gesamte Hotel macht einen sehr gepflegten Eindruck und auch das Personal war freundlich und zuvorkommend. Zu Fuß sind alle Sehenswürdigkeiten in Lissabon (außer natürlich Belem) sehr gut zu erreichen. Die Straßenbahn-Haltestelle der Linie 12 zur Alfama befindet sich ca. 5 min. vom Hotel. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und können dieses Hotel weiterempfehlen. Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis !

Rooms were fantantic. we got a suite and my friends had large rooms. Its in an extremely hilly part with steep hills all around. Breakfast was very good. There are bars and restaurents all around but some are in lonely parts so dont go alone .

Probably my least favorite hotel during my Portugal vacation. The location is perfect, short walking distance from the main tourist attractions but the bed was uncomfortable and the hotel is very small compared to the hotels I stayed at in Porto and Lagos. The staff was ok

We loved the staff and service in this hotel nothing was too much. We loved the feel of the old town and the cobbled streets. The little restaurants around the hotel and catching the tram into town. The only minus is the walk up to the hotel with suitcases can be difficult if you are not as fit.

Wir hatten ein tolles, riesiges Zimmer mit phantastischem Blick über die Stadt. Aber leider funktionierte die Klimaanlage nicht und bei den großen Glasfronten war es unerträglich heiß. Nach einer Nacht erhielten wir ein angebliches Upgrade, das aber sehr klein ausfiel, sodass wir Mühe hatten, unsere Koffer unterzubringen. Angeblich glich die Fläche der Terrasse, die wir vorher nicht hatten, dieses Manko aus...!?

El hotel es muy bonito y las habitaciones estan limpias y cuidadas. El personal es muy educado y amable.Pegas: ningun servicio tipico de hoteles de esta categoria como por ejemplo piscina, SPA, servicio de masajes, etcY sobre todo, el desayuno es escaso en cuanto a variedad y bastante malo. L’ hôtel est situé à quelques pas de Santa Luzia et proche de la station du tram 28. Le quartier est sympathique avec ses petites rues qui descendent et qui montent (prévoir de bonnes chaussures de marche). La chambre est spacieuse. Vous pouvez même emprunter un fer à repasser. Le personnel est aimable et souriant. A l’accueil, la personne parlait anglais et également français. Nous avons adoré notre séjour et y retournerons probablement .

Bem perto do Castelo de Sao Jorge. Tem elevador para parte baixa da cidade, um micro ônibus com ar condicionado e outros.

Das Hotel am Burghügel des Castelo de Sao Jorge hat eine zentrale Lage mit großartiger Aussicht an einer verkehrsberuhigten Straße. Von hier ist die Baixa und die Alfama leicht zu erreichen. Das Hotel ist gut geführt, sauber und das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Hotelbau ist nach Norden ausgerichtet und bei Sonnenschein nicht so aufgeheizt. Auch hatte unser Zimmer eine Klimaanlage. Andere Zimmer hatten großzügige Terrassen. Das Gebäude ist schmal aber hoch, 4 Etagen mit modernem Fahrstuhl. Leider gibt es deshalb weniger Platz für den Frühstücksraum, der nicht für alle Gäste gleichzeitig reicht. Das Frühstück selbst war einfach aber angemessen: Rührei mit Speck, wenig Wurst, Käse und sehr gutem Fruchtsalat, Brötchen und landesübliches Gebäck. Uns hat es gut gefallen. Wir waren während des Stadtfestes im Juni dort. Gleichzeitig fand Festas de Lisboa statt mit lauter Musik bis tief in die Nacht, für deutsche Städte unvorstellbar laut. Das wir trotzdem schlafen konnten, hatten wir den neuen, doppelt verglasten Fenstern im Hotel zu verdanken. Wir würden wieder in diesem Hotel absteigen.

Bra och lugnt läge i gammal fin stadsdel nära borgen. Lagom promenadavstånd ner till centrala delen av Lissabon. Fräsch frukostbuffé. Mycket trevlig personalen och snabb hjälp med olika frågor. Vi hade altan till rummet som vi pga av vädret inte kunde utnyttja så mycket men när vi kunde det var det härligt att sitta och titta ut över staden, läsa en bok och njuta av ett glas vin.

Beautifully appointed hotel with beautiful views overlooking the city. Located in the Alfama district, it is within walking distance to many sights. Just beware that streets are steep and uneven in the old part of Lisbon. We were upgraded to a gorgeous suite with a good sized terrace. It was a delight to stay in our comfortable room. We were compelled to order room service to take advantage of the pretty terrace. The breakfast served was very good. Their pastries were particularly fresh an delicious.

A very good hotel with very nice room. Room is big and spacious, with a big balcony. Too bad it was raining when I stayed there. Very good view of Lisbon old city. However, the location of the hotel is not at the main road. Plenty of walking and climbing to reach the hotel, it is tiring if you carry big luggages. If you take cab, please use Google map, drive slow when it is arriving as the hotel frontage is just a small glass door, which is out of my expectation. My cab in fact drove pass twice without noticing the hotel.

Lo elegimos por su cercanía al castillo de San Jorge, quizá ahora no lo volvería a elegir porque está un poco lejos de la zona más "animada" de Lisboa. Pero para la primera visita a esta ciudad nos pareció un sitio perfecto, tranquilo y fácil de encontrar. El servicio atento y amable, y cuidaban mucho los detalles, hicieron que nuestra estancia allí fuese aún más agradable.

Wir erkundeten Lissabon mit unseren Kindern. Natürlich sind wir auch mit der Straßenbahnlinie 28 gefahren. Außerdem waren wir in der alten Templerburg Tomar, in Sintra mit seinen vielen Palästen, am Westkap des Europäischen Festlandes (Cabo da Roca) sowie in Estoril.

O Castelo is a super choice for a Lisbon stay, especially for the Alfama locale. The hotel is exceptionally clean with lovely big bedrooms and marble bathrooms. The breakfast is excellent with a wide choice of continental and cooked foods. The staff are helpful and speak good English which is a great help as Portuguese is difficult for us to understand.Inside the hotel is well geared up for disabled visitors, however the location and assesiblity to the Castelo is difficult. The street is cobbled with a lot of missing and broken tiles, its is slippy with varying cambers. My husband uses a walking stick and he found it difficult. Also the street has restricted access, and our taxi was unable to get to the hotel door late on the night we arrived. This is in no way a criticism of the hotel, rather we made a poor choice of district. The twin Olissipo at the Park of Nations with its flat walking would have been better for us.The neighbourhood round the Castelo seems safe, but first impressions were not good. There is graffiti, dog poo and many semi derelict buildings on the same street, and quite a lot of building work going on. My top tip would be, leave your sandals at home, and see the sites in stout walking shoes!

We had a pretty large room with a big balcony of the city view for a reasonable price. The interior is nice and classy with full sofa. The location is actually not bad at all, although you may want to take a taxi to it on arrival especially you have luggages as there is a up-hill slope, but it worths the stay

We stayed at the Olissippo Castello for 4 nights and were made to feel very welcome; the staff were extremely helpful and willingly advised us on places to go, routes to take and ideas on how to get the best out of our day. Would definitely stay again should we return to Lisbon in the future.

Das Hotel liegt wunderschön und ruhig unterhalb der Burg, man ist schnell zu Fuss in der Altstadt. Das Personal ist ausgesprochen freundlich und kompetent, alle sprachen sehr gut Englisch.Was uns bei der Buchung etwas geärgert hat war, dass wir einen Twin room bekamen, auf der Hotels.com website aber ein Standard Doppelzimmer gebucht. Leider liess sich das beim Einchecken auch nicht mehr beheben.

Lovely decor & views, room very clean but our room (401) was not large as other reviewers mention. The hotel staff are extremely helpful, they couldn't do enough. Bar/ restaurant are small and all in reception area, much smaller hotel than I expected. Alfamais the traditional area will hills, trams, cobble locked streets & paths, has some fantastic architecture & lovely views. However area is also a bit run down & tired with a lot of graffiti, needs a serious face lift. It has so much potential & could be absolutely beautiful.

Excelente localização, na encosta do Castelo de São Jorge, para conhecer a Mouraria a pé e toda a baixa de Lisboa. Não há lugar para estacionar o carro, pelo que a garagem do Hotel é fundamental. A simpatia dos funcionários e a qualidade das instalações excelente!

Ausgesprochen kompetentes und freundliches Personal. Sehr hilfsbereit in allen Belangen. Wir waren in der Nebensaison dort, unser Zimmer wurde ohne Aufpreis auf eine Junior Suite upgegradet. Wegen des historischen Pflasters in der Umgebung dort, vielleicht für gehbehinderte Personen nicht gut geeignet.

Ett bra beläget hotell med mycket god standard och väldigt trevlig personal. Riktigt fin service. Kan absolut tänka mig att bo där fler gånger om jag återvänder till Lissabon.

This is my favourite hotel in Portugal! The staff are very friendly and helpful, breakfast is great, and the location is wonderful. Rooms are clean, spacious and very well maintained. The views from rooms on the top floor are simply stunning, looking out across the city.

Trevligt och mysigt hotell. Bra sängar, bra frukost, bra och trevlig och serviceminded personal, väldigt tyst gata utanför, perfekt läge med bra stadsutsikt, endast 5-10 min gångavstånd ner till stan.Lite lyhört från korridor. Rekommenderas att köpa detaljerad karta med namn på alla småvägar ,fick en dålig citykarta..

Ligger meget sentralt plassert i Castelo. Kort vei til Alfama, Baixa, Castelo de São Jorge, alt egentlig. Rommet vi fikk var stort og fint. Frokosten var veldig bra ift størrelsen på hotellet. WiFi fungerte bra, men av en eller annen grunn så gikk tiden ut kvelden før utsjekk (hadde nok ordnet seg om jeg hadde orket å klage). Meget trivelige ansatte. Veldig rolig og stille hotell. Fikk inntrykk av at det var et barnefritt hotell før vi bestilte. Det var det ikke, men gikk bra allikevel. De har roomservice og bar i lobbyen, men prøvde aldri det.

Eine Übernachtung auf der Durchreise in Lissabon. Das Check-in hat eine gewisse Zeit beansprucht, der Service war aber während des ganzen Aufenthalts sehr freundlich und kompetent. Ein Nachteil des Hotels ist seine etwas abgelegene Lage. Man sollte entweder mit dem Taxi hinfahren oder mit leichtem Gepäck reisen, da das Hotel beinahe auf der Höhe des Castelo liegt und der Aufstieg, besonders im Sommer, sehr schweisstreibend sein kann. Für die Mühen wird man aber mit prächtigen Ausblicken auf den Miradouro da Graça und den Miradouro da Senhora do Monte entschädigt (alle Hotelzimmer bieten Aussicht auf die Stadt!). Wir wurden zudem mit einem kostenlosen Upgrade für die Suite verwöhnt. Grosszügiges Zimmer, das einem Vierstern-Hotel alle Ehre macht! Das Frühstücksbuffet war gepflegt und bot u.a. frischgepressten Orangensaft.

Kleines, nettes Hotel. Sehr feines Frühstück. Wir hatten leider keine Sicht auf die Altstadt. Es war aber sehr ruhig. Nicht gerade im Zentrum und nicht für Menschen mit einer Gehbehinderung geeignet.

Das Hotel ist sehr schön in der Altstadt ca. 5 Fuß - Minuten von der nächsten Tramhaltestelle entfernt gelegen. Zum Castello sind es ca. 15 Minuten zu Fuß, wie auch zum nächsten Supermarkt.Die Zimmer und das Bad waren sehr geräumig und schön eingerichtet.Das Frühstück war sehr vielfältig und von deftig bis süß für jeden was dabei.Die Fenster der Zimmer waren schallisoliert (obwohl direkt gegenüber vom Hotel eine Baustelle war haben wir im Zimmer nichts davon gehört).

Hotel très bien situé à Lisbonne tout près du centre nous avons apprécié la formule du yellow bus 2 in 1 sur 2 jours avec les accès aux trams 25 12 28 depuis la Parca Da Figuera Le Tagus Tour et l Olisipo tour nous ont fait découvrir lautre facette de Lisbonne la moderne alors que les fameux trams jaunes nous ont fait deambuler dans les quartiers plus anciens. Nous gardons un très beau souvenir de Bellem avec sa tour , du pont avec en arrière plan le Cristo Rei , du quartier Castelo avec son château et aussi des balades main dans la main dans l Alfama avec lenvie de revenir au Portugal rapidement

Waren leider nur eine Nacht Gäste dieses Hotels. Können diesesjedoch ohne Einschränkungen empfehlen.Das Service ist hervorragend die Belegschaft freundlich und hilfsbereit.Das Frühstück sensationell, das Zimmer komfortable rein undrepräsentativ etc.

Die Lage des Hotels ist gut. Leider gibt es weder eine Terrasse noch einen anderen allgemein zugänglichen Raum von dem aus der so hoch angepriesene Ausblick genossen werden kann. Die Zimmer in der ersten Etage haben keinen Ausblick!! Der Frühstücksraum ist sehr klein - es gibt Wartezeiten. Die Vorhänge im Zimmer rochen muffig und im Bad gab es einen ekligen Geruch aus dem Wasserabfluss im Boden. Wir fanden die Geruchsquelle nach einigem Suchen und gossen Wasser nach, dann war das Problem besitigt. Das Frühstück hat rundum enttäuscht. Es gab weder portugiesischen Schinken, Marmelade war Standardware in Einwegverpackungen. Das Preis- leistungsverhältnis stimmt nicht.

Hôtel situé à cheval sur les quartiers Mouraria, Graça et Alfama, donc authentiques et au cœur de la vie lisboete...Hôtel cependant très calme avec un service très soigné...Nous étions au 2ème étage et bénéficions dune belle terrasse aménagée, agréable pour se relaxer...Chambre très confortable et climatisée (on peut stopper la clim)...Petit-déj très achalandé : rien à redire....Le petit + : nous disposions de thé et café gratuits à notre retour le soir dans la chambre. Cet hôtel, compte-tenu de sa situation géographique sur les hauteurs près du Château Sao Jorge, nest pas à conseiller pour des personnes ayant des difficultés à marcher (forte montée sur pavés grossiers depuis Martim Moniz). Toutefois le Tramway 28 nest jamais très loin et il y a pléthore de taxis à Lisbonne...Accès aisé depuis laéroport en une trentaine de minutes avec le métro (ligne rouge, puis verte avec un changement à Alamada et descendre à Martim Moniz).
