très bonne cuisine, savoureuse, un super poisson à la façon du chef, dessert très bon avec des figues... je mets 5 étoiles pour augmenter leur note face à d'autres restaurants de la même rue mieux notés mais où l'on mange beaucoup moins bien !!!

Adorei o ambiente cosy onde apetece ficar horas e horas na conversa. A comida é excelente e lembra a cozinha da avó, de tão saborosa que é.
O atendimento, muito personalizado e próximo.
Amei a mousse de alfarroba.

para não falar do aldrabão do empregado de mesa(que por acaso também é o dono) que ainda por cima é inconveniente.

After walking around for 2 hours my partner and I were looking forward to a nice local meal. We found this place... Upon walking in we didn't feel very welcome at all and found the server to be condescending and rude. He did not help us with the menu at all and made us feel weird and stupid for asking questions. We are not used to Portuguese menu or food so we really had no idea what to order. We were planning to sit and enjoy drinks and the whole nine yards but after our encounter with this person we only got the sausage and cheese board and left quickly. The upside is the music was good and the cheese sausage board was alright. I would have been much happier to go to the grocery store and get those ingredients instead of encountering this human.

Una delle tradizioni portoghesi più belle: vinhos e petiscos! Allora... Il locale è davvero delizioso, intimo ed il personale gentile ed attento (preciso che abbiamo cenato una sera in cui non c'era quasi nessuno oltre noi). Il cibo è cucinato bene e con cura. I dessert sono particolari e davvero eccellenti. Alcuni appunti però vanno fatti: le porzioni sono piccole (petiscos appunto), ma i prezzi in proporzione sono piuttosto alti. Le portate arrivano con un certo lasso di tempo l'una dall'altra (ma potrebbe essere anche un'accortezza del gestore che desidera lasciare il tempo per degustare ogni singola portata, specie se la si vuol condividere in due). La Ginjinha che abbiamo bevuto onestamente non è molto buona. Ho bevuto di meglio al Rossio. Detto questo, mi sento comunque di raccomandare questa esperienza in quanto davvero piacevole (se non si ha troppa fame e non si guarda troppo al rapporto quantità/prezzo).

The seafood here is truly wonderful! We had the prawns and the dorade, both equally amazing. The restaurant also has an outside terrace which is a real bonus. Lovely service with perfect English speaking staff. Highly recommended!

Service qui, sans être méchant, est à la tête du client, certaines tables ayant droit à toutes les attentions alors que d'autres sont littéralement expédiées, ce sans raison apparente.
Les plats sont bons mais arrivent à moitié froids, les desserts sont vraiment excellents. Mais là encore, le patron refuse de nous servir les desserts demandés sans nous donner la moindre explication (rupture de stock ? tentative de conseil mal exprimée ? ...).
Je mets deux étoiles au bénéfice du doute, mais je ne recommande pas.

Expansive, not exceptional food and I really recommend you to avoid the vegetables plate for 10€. 5 slices of not well cooked vegetables...and as we told the owner about our deception l, he didn’t seem to feel concerned but gave us a 10% discount.

Avoid the octopus salad which is a boring affair. Otherwise the small dishes (petiscos?) are very much worth recommending. Very friendly service.

Food was oke and the omelet was pretty good. The portions where a bit on the small side, but it was pretty cheap aswell. Service and staff could be a bit better, because we had to wait to order quite some time and there had been some complaints already. They did tey to fix this by having the host have some chats at every table.

Pouca oferta de pratos mas recomendo o bife com salada, embora as batatas deixassem muito a desejar. O preço do vinho é exagerado. O ambiente pitoresco, acaba por ser confortável.

Lo único bueno de este sitio es el servicio, que es un 10, pedimos un chorizo portugués que cuando tomabas un bocado la textura era demasiado blanda y no era agradable, para una nena de 7 años pedimos carne asada y patatas a la francesa pero en realidad las patatas eran cocidas con hierbas provenzales y la carne estaba muy cruda, la entrada de chorizos de mi madre muy poco apetecible, lo único medio bien logrado fue el bacalao y los precios excesivamente costoso para la calidad y el lugar.

Had a lovely first meal in Lisbon here. Dinner. Outside seating, live acoustic music, outdoor grill going with a limited selection of fish and other dishes. Affordable - 50 euros for bread, clams, grilled sea bream, water and wine. Good service. Enjoyable meal.

El atendimento fue más o menos pero la comida no estaba buena. Yo me pedí sardinas al grill. Las sardinas estaban frías y por limpiar tanto por fuera como por dentro. Simplesmente asqueroso.
No recomendo este restaurante.

Real treat for our 3rd (last night) meal in Lisbon. The owner (a fabulous Robert Downey Jnr look a like with matching personality) was very welcoming. The food was fabulous, tapas style, and he actually picked for us, all being wonderful. The service was slow after mains but they were very busy. Would recommend.

disappointing and regrettable. wine selection by the glass = dry or fruity, natch. mean board of pallid cheese slivers and dry sausages. can excuse the slow service cos full with a large group, hope they have a better time.

Restaurante e atendimento muito simpático onde rapidamente sentimos que somos clientes frequentes apesar de não o sermos. Os petiscos que vieram para a mesa era de uma qualidade superior. O ambiente devido á excelente playlist torna a refeição num momento especial. O único ponto negativo são talvez os valores onde sem desconto poderá ser demasiado. A repetir sem duvida.

We made 2 visits and on each occasion the food, wine and service was fantastic. It's a lovely little place. I was particularly impressed by the fuss they made of my wife on her birthday.
Back home yesterday, when asked what the highlight of his holiday in Lisbon was, my son replied the bochechas de porco at madragoa vinhos e petiscos. High praise indeed.

This seemingly little hole in the wall of a restaurant was a place my wife and I literally just stumbled into, being a little lost from the unfamiliar cobblestone streets and maybe a little too much port wine prior to our quest for an authentic Portuguese style place to eat.
Right from the get go the bread, olives and charcuterie were absolutely amazing... the recommended wines were absolutely perfect company for the pica-pau de vitela- we had both the pork and chicken.
Antonio, the owner gave us some really amazing homemade port to go with our desert... he was a fantastic host and he turned what had started off as a frustrating journey into a fantastic voyage.
Go to this restaurant if you happen into Lisbon - you won't regret it.

Excellent. Je recommande la saucisse portugaise fumée et TOUS les desserts. Osez mousse caroube, citrouille ou gateau figue. On s'est tous régalés.

Comida bem confeccionada mas nada de especial, atendimento podia ser melhor. Atenção!! Não apropriado para jantares de grupo quando é um grupo grande, cobram caução e definitivamente não é um restaurante habituado a grandes grupos. De resto a nível da comida não era mau mas um pouco caro tendo em conta a qualidade.

Entrée semplici ma il paté di pesce era molto saporito. Abbiamo preso 2 piatti a base di baccalà e la gratinatura di entrambi era ottima. Non ho apprezzato la scelta del ristorante di accompagnare il baccalà a un'insalata mista a verdure di stagione che, con un pesce così buono, non vien voglia di mangiare. Il cameriere parla molto bene anche in italiano.
