I known Nicolas for a long time and we have surfed countless times big surf and very technical waves. Besides his humble and peaceful personality I would not recommend no one better than him to teach and guide someone who wants to begin or restart that fire-spark for surf or bodyboard.

Both instructors had a great approach to each of the 10 battling students against the strong current ! Its was goood fun!

Absolutely amazing, Nic was very friendly and helpful over the phone, and the instructor Diogo is an absolute legend, knows all the local spots really well, has far more knowledge about surfing than anyone I've ever met, and also knows the best places for lunch! ‍♂️

Such a good surf experience I had with Sintra Surf School. Nico is definitely the guy you want to have around. Passion for surfing and the art of teaching will make you come back next season for some more fun. Nicolas and his team were great with our 10 year old daughter. She learned a lot just in 3 days and had loads of fun. It is a very flexible, relaxed surf school.

I only had a chance to take a two hours lesson as I had little time during my stay in the Sintra region. However these two hours helped me to make a big step ahead in my surfing. Nicolas and an additional surf teacher (Ricky) in the water were just brilliant. Thanks for analysing my mistakes so quick and for giving me the right instructions, recommendations, safety and support in the water. For the first time I was able to surf several waves up to the shore without loosing speed.

My 5 year old loves taking bodyboarding lessons with Nicolas. He begs for lessons every time we go to Portugal! As a parent, safety comes first. Even though my son can’t swim yet I feel totally at ease when Nicolas is with him in the water. Maybe one day I’ll take lessons myself but for now I’m happy to enjoy some free time while my kid is learning some skills and having a great time on Sintra’s beaches. Highly recommended

Sintra Surf is an excellent surf school! The lessons are well organised and supervised, accommodating for all levels. Nicholas and his team are really friendly and encouraging too. Sintra itself is a fantastic place to surf. We had so much fun learning to surf with Sintra Surf! Highly recommend !
