He is passionate, very experienced and caring that each student would do his best and have the most fun without counting time. Everyday he pics the right place and the best time to surf making it as good as it can get. We have come back to surf with Bruno several times since 2018 and hopefully will for many years to come!

Absolutely great lessons by Bruno, founder of Ericeira Waves. This man is top professional. Provides valuable tips, and really made me into a better surfer. I've had 10 or so private lessons by him and can definitely say it was worth every penny. Bruno takes time for you as a student and really wants you to improve. Amazing experience . Bruno took us to the best spots , never crowded. He helped read the waves and to position in the perfect spot. He also showed us the best places to eat and even spots we can try if we wanted. One of the best surf guide ever ! We strongly recommend.

Had my first surfing lesson (ever) this morning with Miguel. My experience with Ericeira Waves was exceptional. Miguel's communication and morning pick up service in the van made life very easy to get to the beach. The waves/beach was a great area for a beginner and the class size was small, hence Miguel's coaching was very tailored to me. Furthermore, Miguel and the other instructor were easy to understand and very helpful: all in all, it made for a great experience. I would definitely recommend this company and the beaches in the Ericeira surrounds are perfect for beginners and also people with more surf experience.

We were very happy to meet the team from Ericeira Waves. The lessons are in small groups, we got feedback every time we catched a wave and I consider that really important to improve. The coach Bruno is very friendly and accessive. We learned a lot and we had a lot of fun. We were already in a feew more Surf Schools and for us they are the best! Valeria + Nils

Horrible experience. Unstructured, didn’t really know were to go, no one told us that we were on a reef, with huge rocks under us, so we constantly hit our feet, teacher was not giving clear instructions were to go, and when I complained, he got rude and said: “oh yeah, because you are professional surfer...Look how you are holding your board, like it’s a dog, this is a surfboard, not a dog” really arrogant... also the spot was just way too crowded.

As aulas foram sensacionais! Bruno é um ótimo instrutor, tem uma energia muito boa e consegue dar ótimos feedbacks e dicas para uma melhor performance! A turma é pequena, por isso conseguimos praticar bastante! Com certeza vamos voltar e fazer mais vezes!

My girlfriend and I found Ericeira waves via our hotel when we asked them for the best local surf teachers. My girlfriend a beginner and me an intermediate surfer with some experience both looking to improve technique. We found the perfect teachers in Luis (beginners) and Bruno (intermediate and up). They take you to the best spots of the day, do everything to make you better and make sure you have a fun experience. The teachers are nice and down to earth and breathe the surfing vibe. On the last day of our holiday the guys were very kind to help us get our luggage from the hotel to Rhibeira beach so we could take a taxi to the airport after the last surf lesson. Very kind. Then when we grabbed the taxi in a rush I forgot my wetsuit on the parking lot. When Bruno found out, he drove back to Rhibeira to get it for me!! Shows how chill these guys are. Great company, the best choice if you go surfing in Ericeira 100%. Compliments on the surf school guys! Keep it up!

This surf school is absolutly the best! Geest instructors, great environment to learn and a lot of personal attention. Bruno and his collegues are kind and funny and at the same time taking care of your improvements on the board. Defintly the surf school to go to!
