Just WOW!!! The team at Casa Monte Cristo have out done themselves! Such beautiful accomodation- my family rented out villa 1, too and tres and were blown away. Milton will answer any questions and find out any information you need. Deirdre has amazing attention to detail and never left me wondering- we had so many changes right up until the last minute and she catered flawlessly for everything! Can't speak highly enough (internet quality not great, but nothing to end your world)

My family and friends joined me at Casa Monte Cristo Tres in Lagos Portugal for my birthday celebration. We had a marvelous time. Prior to the trip I asked the owner so many questions and she answered them all immediatly and completely. She also provided details on things to do in Lagos and the surrounding towns which included places to eat and beaches. We were warmly welcomed to the Villa on our arrival day and had acess to Milton day and night in case we needed anything. They helped me organize my birthday dinner at the Villa and made sure they did everything to make it just as we wanted it. The Villa was adequately furnished with all the necessities.Could not have asked for more. Beautifully located with a great view from the bedrooms. Great vacation! Thank you Deirdre and Milton for making it a birthday celebration to remember!!

We held our wedding at Casa Monte Cristo and it was utterly perfect. The venue, food and staff were amazing - the team ensured that every little detail went to plan. The views at Tres and CMC have the perfect backdrop for an Algarve wedding. 100% recommend. Thank you to all at CMC.

Not an Exclusive Villa !!.We stayed here in June 17, a family group of 17 of us,and on arrival after booking all the 'exclusive villa apartments',we were informed that we did not have access to the upstairs of the villa , including the balcony area , which apparently enjoyed beautiful views. This was due to the fact that the the owners lived in the upstairs of the Villa !. This was despite the fact the website on which we booked, featured pictures of the upstairs balcony etc. When we raised this after our holidays, we were told(eventually, as the booking agent could not answer the question when it was initially raised) in most uncertain terms that we never had specifically asked if the villa was exclusive !!. In addition we were told as the description of the villa was correct, the misleading pictures were a non issue...( when I sell my house, I therefore plan to put up pictures of Buckingham Palace based on this logic). In addition , the villa is used as a 'operations headquarter' for The Monte Cristo Collection, with an office upstairs, numerous staff(all polite) coming and going, with the electric gates opening regularly.At one stage 5 cars were parked there. We raised this as well, as we had a number of very young children with us , and security was an important issue to us, and again , we got a lecture from the agent,including pointing out to us that the owners came and went through a separate entrance. As the agent apparently has not been there since 2015 it is probably too much to expect her to know that this entrance, for the owners and the staff , is through the games room area, swing and trampoline area .. so again unsatisfactory. All the above clearly leaves a sour taste, as we would not have booked the Villa if we had been told this. The good part is that the apartments are good, the grounds excellent, the pool area also excellent, and Milton the manager very polite. So in summary, not suitable if you want an exclusive Villa, which I think most people expect, not suitable if you have young children, and finally feedback is not appreciated by the agent(unless you want to be given a lecture).

I have now had the pleasure to stayed here on numerous occasions and never once find fault, the whole experience is better the most 5 star resort i have been too.
