Two of us purchased the unlimited tapas option for €19 each. It was great! The friendly servers bring out dish after dish at the perfect time. You can also have repeats of your favorites if you desire and have room. The desserts were phenomenal and also included in the €19 per person price.

" Sangria et Petiscos " Après 2 tentatives pour venir y dîner sans succès, la 3 ème fut la bonne. Accueil chaleureux en portugais, espagnol, italien ou français, possibilité de tester le "à volonté" ou le menu (ce que nous avons fait).
Sangria délicieuse, pâté de thon, œufs brouillés à la saucisse, salade de poulpe, beignets de Morue, petit fromage et riz à la tomate extras, mais le top ce sont les morceaux de bœuf à la portugaise... Un régal!!!

Completely average, quality of ingredients were completely questionable. There were some interesting dishes but overall very disappointed.

Menú interesante con tapas típicas. Nos han encantado los calamares fritos. Precios razonables. El personal muy amable e intentan hablar otras lenguas para dar explicaciones. Servicio bueno aunque un poco lento al final. Lo único que no nos ha gustado fue el propio local, muy pequeño dentro por lo que decidimos comer fuera, cosa que tampoco ha molado puesto que se encuentra en una pequeña calle muy concurrida con mucha gente pasando (y mirando).

Wow une adresse de folie Le menu mix tapas à volonté à 19€ est une vraie tuerie, la 20aine de plats salés s'enchaînent et on découvre sans cesse de nouvelle saveurs ! Pour terminer 6 desserts, mousses, pana-cotta finissent de vous régaler Le service est agréable et les serveuses parlent un peu français, que demander de plus ? Ah si, des cocktails Mojito/Caipi à 5€ très bien dosés Direct dans mon top 3 des restos de Lisbonne

First meal in Lisbon and WOW!! For €19 per person you can sample 22 things followed by every dessert and we were not disappointed! You can ask for more of your favorites, but we loved everything and had no space for more. Definitely worth trying, you can also order individual tapas if you do not wish to do the full rodizio option.

Found this little restaurant searching for Portuguese tapas In Bairro Alto. Was not disappointed. Was seated immediately and shown how the menu works for rodizo. You can try their whole menu and get multiple rounds if you really like one of the dishes. We did a la Carte and they even gave us extra of one dish. Amazing service and food! Would highly recommend and will return here on my next trip.

Ich bin mir nicht 100% sicher ob wir in genau diesem Restaurant gegessen haben, aber der Ort stimmt daher muss es eigentlich so sein...wie auch immer, wenn es dieses war dann war die Bedienung super, sehr nett und wahnsinnig schnell. Das Essen war köstlich und sehr liebevoll angerichtet. Eigentlich gibt es in der Lokalität keine Tapas, also haben wir einfach alle Vorspeisen bestellt für uns 7 Personen. Gute Entscheidung, denn die Speisen waren durchwegs sehr gut zubereitet.
Kann ich nur empfehlen!

Accueil très sympathique ! Menu à 19 euros qui permet de goûter toutes sortes de spécialités portugaises, salées et sucrées. Cuisine de qualité avec un personnel très agréable qui parle français. Ne pas hésiter à tester ce lieu qui donne envie de revenir...

Excelentes timadores, pésimo servicio.... ¿Os creeis que una tapa de 3 lonchas malas de Jamón valgan 13 €, cada tapa? encima para atraernos dijo 3,50 y cuando vimos la factura eran 13,50 €.... 146 € con tapas malas y cervezas.... Un engaño, una estafa...

Basura de lugar, fui de cervezas con los amigos y te engañan diciendo que un Jamón es de calidad y en verdad es de plástico malo, te engañan con el precio, y por cervezas y tapas super caras te clavan 160 €... Son estafadores profesionales, te lo pintan todo bonito y no es así. Debería de estar cerrado... Os recomiendo que no vayais, os van a engañar.

Una porquería de restaurante,son racistas y les clavan a los turistas, nos dijeron que las tapas valian 3.50€ y nos acabaron cobrando 146€.por una tostada con queso te meten 13.50€ y sin hablar del pulpo con sabor a FORMIL.

Fui a beber un par de cervezas con un grupo de amigos pedimos también tapas para picar algo nos dijeron que el precio seria de 3,50 € por persona y al traernos la cuenta había que pagar 150€ porque cada tapa nos dijeron que era al final de 13,50 por plato

Vriendelijk personeel, heerlijk gegeten. Super leuk concept waarin je alles MAG proberen en alles wat je echt lekker vindt kan je bij bestellen. Dit alles voor een vaste goedkope prijs voor erg veel eten! Zeker een aanrader voor als je in Lissabon bent.

Ontzettend goed. All jou can eat optie gedaan.. Alles wordt gebracht. Toetje overgeslagen,want ik kon echt niet meer. Zo vol. Erg lekker eten en zeer aardige mensen. En niet duur! Het menu kost pp 19.95. En een fles water 3 euro. (1.5l)

Sehr schönes kleines und feines Tapas
Restaurant. Mann kann drinnen und draußen in einer romantischen Seitengasse sitzen. Es gibt einen sehr feinen Rotwein und Tapas
Gerichte die selbst gemacht sind und super
lecker schmecken. Das Personal ist super freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit bei der Zusammenstellung der Tapas. Die selbst gemachten Dessert sind auch sehr zu empfehlen. Zum Abschluss gab es noch Port Wein als kleine Oferta. Das war ein toller Abschluss in Lissabon.

Very poor choice of tapas. The waiting staff are great. Lots of fried stuff, some are inedible as they arrive cold and taste mostly of oil. The starters are bread with a can of sardines, a runny tuna paste, (mostly garlic)butter and ok olives. Desserts are cream flavoured with mango or chocolate or passion fruit (this one tasted good) and some jams.

Una porquería, de verdad. Nos gastamos 50€ , el vino no se podía beber, la comida era de muy muy muy muy baja calidad. Lo único bueno a destacar es el servicio que era inmejorable. Lo demás una decepción asegurada.

I've been there two years ago, but I still dream of coming back to Lisbon and have another great dinner at Bairrices.I tried their formula "A bit of everything" and imho is the best place in town. The funny and hospitable owner was a great plus.

Absolutely brilliant - just GO!! We found this place on our last night in Lisbon and what a send off! The €19 all you can eat tapas is exceptional value and includes chorizo, octopus and beef. The owner actively encourages you to have more of your favourite bits and obviously loves their unique concept of try as much as you like. The deserts are exceptional and are accompanied by homemade spirits... In fact they plonked the bottles on the table with the shots for if we wanted more! Overall my dad and I have just had an exceptional evening and would hugely encourage you to visit and enjoy the exemplary hospitality which can be found here!!!

We had an excellent tapas meal at Bairrices, the service was brilliant and we had a good explanation on each plate provided to us! The price is very reasonable for the amount of food that you are given! We paid €19 each for an all you can eat which included all tapas menu options, and repeat dishes if you had room!

Don't miss out on this one! Doesn't matter how many people you are, just try out the "all you can eat tapas" for 19,- € per person, if you don't like fish, that doesn't matter, you can simply tell the staff to bring something else, they are very friendly and helpful! 5/5 would go there again!

Toller Laden. Wenn man nur wenige Tage in der Stadt ist, hat man hier die Gelegenheit ganz viele lokale Speisen zu probieren.
Die Bedienungen sind super nett und hilfsbereit, haben alle Tapas genau erklärt und uns ein paar Stadt Tipps gegeben.

Lugar fantástico onde se tem a oportunidade de provar de tudo do cardápio se optar pelo rodízio ao custo de 19 Euros. Gostou de algo específico? Pode pedir quantas vezes mais quiser até não caber mais. As garçonetes em especial são extremamente simpáticas, educadas e fluentes em inglês.

Molto buona l'idea ma soprattutto molto buone le tapas, compresi vari assaggi di dolci che si possono richiedere di nuovo.
Bisogna arrivare presto o provare a prenotare altrimenti i tavoli sono pochi. Noi siamo arrivati senza prenotazione e abbiamo dovuto aspettare 1 ora ma ne è valsa la pena.
Purtroppo la cucina chiude alle 22.30.
Personale molto cordiale e disponibile.
Da provare assolutamente.

Super value, super food, super staff. If I could rate it higher I would. For 54 euro we got 2 coffees, a bottle of wine and an amazing tasting menu. One of the owners served us and he was incredibly nice.

This restaurant offers a unique experience of the culinary scene in Lisbon. The 19 euro tapas tasting menu was fantastic. The all you can eat platter for 19 euros a person is full of amazing food and really interesting selections. I was stuffed after ordering this and very happy. You get 6 appetizers to start such as cheese, bread, sardines and toppings. Then around 14 main dish samplings of everything from sauage to octopus salad. Finally you get 6 desserts and a shot of Ginjinha. Friendly attentive staff.

COME HERE! The 19€ tasting all you can eat menu is to die for. They bring you so many different types of foods and they are all delicious. The staff is super enthusiastic, kind and friendly, and the atmosphere is perfect for a nice dinner with friends.

I did the "all you can eat" option. Seemed like a great way to try all sorts of Portuguese dishes. It did take awhile and service could be somewhat erratic. However, overall delicious and well done.

Amazing place, we got the 22 tapas tasting menu, and my god that was both amazing, a lot of food and good value for the money. Then when you are done, prepare your belly for 6 deserts! Super friendly staff. Only negative is that some of the dishes has coriander, so if you are one of those that think that taste like soap, let the staff know.

I came here twice during my stay in Lisbon!! I came here upon a recommendation from my cousin. I’m so glad I did! They had a menu in English and the owner/server spoke English as well. I went with their all you can eat 19€ option. For wine, I asked for a recommendation and the owner kindly offered to let me try both!
Sorry if the below starts to sound repetitive because honestly everything was sooo good (aside from the meh’s haha):
Items 1-6 come out all at the same time. Be wary to not fill yourself on the bread!
1. Bread - warmed bread
2. Garlic and rosemary- very standard butter
3. Spiced olives - never ordered this as I don’t like olives
4. Tuna cream - a light tuna mix, taste of fish a bit too strong for me
5. Cheese - was a bit too hard for me but moderate in taste
6. Ham - a bit hard, subpar
The dried meats (items 7 & 8) come together
7. Twiggi sticks - wonderful smoked meat
8. Barbecue chorizo- Fire. So good! It was cool seeing it fire up on the bar table!
9. Soup - it’s got a potato base with herbs
10. Gizzard stew - I don’t know if I’ve had gizzard before but I totally gobbled it all up! It tasted just like chicken breast and the sauce was savory and tomato base
11. Codfish with chickpeas - cold medley of codfish bits. Has a strong vinegar taste. This was alright
12. Black chorizo and goat cheese - this is my absolute favorite dish!! I order 2 both times I went.
13. Petinga - fried sardine. I was told the Portuguese eat the whole thing, including the head and bones. I did!
14. Eggs with brown pudding - it’s apparently a love or hate dish. It’s a Smokey chorizo with egg. I enjoyed it!
15. Portuguese braised codfish - it’s fish with some other potato strips maybe? Enjoyable
16. Fried squid - pretty standard fried squid
17. Salad “Algarve” - it’s like a small cold salad tomatoes and cucumbers. Nothing special here.
18. Black beans with tuna - cold dish, similar to the chickpea one
19. Rice - standard rice
20. Octopus salad - I was fan of the salad!
21. Codfish pastry - such lightness and flavor to the fish puffs. The rice goes with the fish. The rice was a bit bland but the fish alone tasted great.
22. woodpecker - aka braised beef. The sauce was magnificent but the small bites of meat were tough and gamey
Top 3: # 12, 7/8, and 21
I’ve only tried 4 of the 6 desserts. My favorites are the home dessert with the Oreo crumble. This is heavennnn! The mango mousse is also a great light mix. Each board also comes with a small serving of dessert alcohol!
The service is magnificent. The venue is small and the timing for the dishes were appropriate. The staff are friendly and I want to say speak English, Portuguese, Spanish, and French!! On my final visit, the same waitress, shook my hand and wished me a safe travel. I’ve since told at least 10 people at my hostel to go here!

Bel localino dove vengono servite ottime tapas portoghesi. Possibilità di scelta nei menù consiglio quello da euro 19.00 che va dagli antipasti al dolce (bevande a parte) tutte servite in piccole porzioni, ma che Vi assicuro sazieranno . Il proprietario è una persona disponibile che vi aiuterà nella scelta spiegando ogni piatto. Personale gentile veloce e sorridente. Lo consiglio

Great find! They have a fantastic offer of 22 main dishes and 6 desserts (mini portions of each) which lets you sample a huge variety of local delicacies for a very good price. Lovely location too, tucked away off the busy streets so quieter but with enough people passing to allow you to people-watch as you eat yummy food. The included Lisbon cherry liquor to the sampler menu was a nice touch too.

It can’t be a 4.6 rating place. Mediocre to say the least compared to other places I have tried in Portugal. Agree with other reviews, guys are very friendly and helpful but overall experience, the choice of dishes, and execution are very average, the wine list is so short that almost leaves no choice at all.

Very friendly, nice staff, we felt amazingly welcome. Unfortunately the beef was very sinewy (had too many tendons). And it was a bit chilly inside (cold November), all these restaurants there leave their doors open, so this is nothing particular for this location. The house wine was ok, but not great. The pork stew was good.
But again, the girls were great hosts.

After spending a week in Portugal, this was one of our last restaurant. At 19 euros, the tasting menu is overpriced. Almost no fish in the tuna and cod dishes. Not representative of other local Portuguese restaurants where you can get a large portion of fish and wine for 10euros.

Cool little tapas bar. The all you can eat special for 19€ is a great value for your money because you get all of their dishes and then can order as many as you like. The deserts are also included!

Amazing. Try their 'try everything' menu. Such good value for a fantastic variety of different things all of which taste good. The beef stew, black pudding with goats cheese and chorizo are the highlights. Will definitely go again.

Wow place! If you are looking for a taste of the local kitchen in a tapas-like style, this is the place for you. They serve a tasting menu including several different small tapas, beef, chicken, fish, octopus and veg plus crazy desert set. Price is reasonable and with a bottle of good local wine you end up with ~30 euro per person. Service is super nice and professional. Very recommended!

On a 16 day eurotrip (Germany, France and Portugal), traveling with 10 people makes it very difficult to get a table in the small lisbon restaurant setting. The owner got us set up with a little waiting table and had us seated in 20 minutes even though they were very busy. The staff all had a hand in taking care of us. They were all fantastic. The little girl even had a little wit for one of our more brash german friends. It was great! Food selections were immense and you only have to pay 21 euro to get up to 20 tapas and all the dessert you want. I was so impressed I asked the owner for a Bairrices shirt and he said they did not have any for sale but he went to his car and got me one of his own upon my request! What an amazing experience and one of the major reasons Portugal was my favorite stop on this trip. I will be back to lisbon and I will go back to Bairrices. 100%. Keep up the great work guys.

Def 5 star. Very great service. Very welcoming. The 19e try everything meal was 100% worth it! Lots of great options and not one dish that I didn't like. The cheese, chorizo and honey appetizer was by far one of the best dishes I had while in Lisbon. If I had more in my stomach would have ordered another plate of that. The desserts weren't my favorite but that's because I'm not a very big custard person and ginjinha is ok. Not the biggest fan. But food dishes were great.

Selezione di tapas tipiche portoghesi a volontà, dagli antipasti, alla carne, pesce e dessert. Abbiamo assaggiato una grande varietà di pietanze, tutte ottime, costo 20€.
Piacevolissimo tavolo all'aperto in una vietta tipica del Barrio Alto e proprietario del locale gentilissimo e simpatico. Super consigliato!

Probably my favorite spot in Portugal. It’s definitely the best tapas I’ve had. They do such a good job of making you feel like home. We had a large group, 10 of us, and the owner did his absolute best to accommodate us and we were sat in a matter of 20-30 minutes with the rest of the restaurant being full. If the experience wasn’t enough, I asked for a t shirt and he was unable to give me a new one but offered me one of his clean shirts that he had to go get out of his car. Highly recommend for anyone in the Lisbon area! We will definitely be back. Thanks guys!

Petit restaurant très sympathique qui permet de goûter les spécialités portugaises à travers un menu à 19€ par personne sous forme de tapas (poisson, viande, légumes...). C'est très bon et varié, nous avons apprécié le concept. Possibilité de prendre également les plats seuls à la carte en plus grosse quantité. Le quartier environnant et très festif et il y règne une bonne ambiance. La carte des boissons est bien fournie, on y trouve de tout (vin blanc, rouge, rosé et sangria de la région). Service très sympathique, personnalisé et aux petits soins, je recommande à 100% !

Bonne soirée malgré la quantité bien trop importante de tapas dans le menu à volonté (j’étais gênée de gaspiller), rapport qualité/prix pas optimal d’autant que la qualité des tapas est inégale (excellente salade de poulpe mais les saucisses grillées avaient trop le goût de brûlé par exemple) les desserts par contre étaient délicieux + une mention spéciale pour la gentillesse du gérant !

Attrape touriste total. Absolument rien de fait maison. 55€ à deux et nous sommes parti à la moitié du « menu à volonté » infect. Des menus dans toutes les langues, gage d’inautanthicité, nous avons senti l’arnaque en arrivant mais n’avons pas osé partir. Si vous avez lu cet avis et que vous y êtes allés manger malgré tout nous sommes désolés pour vous, pensez à laisser une note aussi pour empêcher ces escrocs d’arnaquer d’autres touristes.

我们点了三个菜，照片中两个（鳕鱼与炸鱿鱼）外加一个烤火腿，除了火腿咸点以外，总体就餐比较愉快，但是不知为何从昨晚吃完饭一个小时开始到今天下午两人均出现腹泻症状，其中一人较为严重，给接下来的旅途徒添不少麻烦。刚已买了药，希望能够好起来。

Mediocre...was very surprised by the quality of the food. Some of the meat was possible fake. The customer service was quite good which was the only redeeming feature. It's essentially a all you can eat buffet for clueless tourist. 19 euros can buy you all the types of food In Portugal but at most forgettable quality.

Great food, fantastic/friendly service, excellent price! The tapas were all delicious - very flavourful and with unlimited refills (though you likely won't even need them with the 22 course meal). Nice drinks and desserts too. Would definitely reserve as the restaurant will fill up - really easy to book a reservation by just Facebook messaging the restaurant, with quick response time.

Thank you so much! This was the best place we have eaten in forever! Honestly cannot remember anything better. The service was amazing. Don't know the name of our waitress, but she had dark hair, and explained every dish, was really patient. The rodízio is amazing value for the €19, we got to try all different tapas a repeat any we liked, nearly 30 of them! I would come back any day, and recommend it very much. Thank you again, we had a lovely time.

Based on all the great reviews we walked the massive 90 meters from our apartment to the restaurant. We were greeted to smiling and pleasant bustling waitstaff getting ready for a booked out evening. Our waitress Ineth (sorry not sure of the spelling) was glowing with personality and ran through the menu mentioning (but not pushing like other reviews had accused) the all you can eat tapas offer. We are not “all you can eat” types so we opted for a great bottle of red, mushroom, chorizo, cod and chick peas and prawns. Everything was subtle and sublime by its simplicity of flavours. Obviously the chef takes pride in his produce purchasing because everything zinged with great flavour. We exited earlier than we would have liked because of a boisterous table of Italians but all in all we are happy to recommend this restaurant.

Properly loved this dining experience. Great staff and service. We had to wait for a table, but it was well worth it.
We opted for the all-you-can-eat menu, and gradually we were served dish after dish of beautiful local tapas. Included some really interesting dishes.
Outstanding value for money. We were eating late and were the last people to leave, so I took the opportunity to chat with the owner. Clearly someone who takes great pride in what they are doing.
Will definitely be back here, and would recommend to others in a heart beat. If you are a plain eater, there are still options for you.

Great place. Got me a table even though they were super busy. Bread is warm and delicious as is the rosemary butter! Very Moreish. The woodpecker beef stew was also very tasty. The cod pastry so so. Shame they had run out of the octopus it looked great. Staff super friendly. Would highly recommend.

- wir mochten am liebsten: Chorizo, Pica-Pau, Octopus-Salat, Käse, Thunfisch-Creme
- Dessert ist ebenfalls inklusive (unsere Favoriten: Mousse au Chocolat mit Kaffee)

If you are a first time tourist at portugal this must be a musy go restaurant. the day i visited here was after getting back from 4 day trip on Porto. Based on my experience on 4 day on porto, the quality of portugese food.in porto is a way much higher in lisbon. I already have had some of food in Bairrices in porto and the food quality cannot even be close to the one in restaurants in porto such as Abiadas and Tosca.
However i got to give 5 stars to Bairrices, since this provides a variety of portugese food (no place like this at portugal as far as i know) and people at Bairrices were very nice and gave me a lot of explanation of food.

Super spot tucked away off the main road. Great service, friendly, prompt, feels like you're being served at someone's home with enthusiastic team. We opted for the "all you can eat" tapas, which makes it sound like a cheap/nasty soho Chinese restaurant, but was absolutely delicious, basically you can chose if there's things you know you love, or you can try everything... you certainly won't leave hungry! The chorizo was cooked at the bar, v cool!! And the beef was simply Devine! Think it's called woodpecker. Even the desserts are delicious, along with the ammarettos and sangria! Very well looked after! :) yum! Ps don't get pulled into the bar next door that has the same white chairs, it's not the same place!

I can't believe this place, tucked away on one of the many hilly alley ways of Bairro Alto, I found Bairrices with an amazing beef and french fries that I wish I could eat every day! Marta the waitress was just the best waitress I've ever seen, quick with the jokes and went out of her way to make sure our group had the best experience possible.
