We were walking about in the late afternoon and we chanced upon this little hole in the wall. I popped my head in and Tito said hello but he wasn’t open yet. I heard a football match going and said, “Oh, you’re watching football? We just want a a glass of wine.” He beckoned us in and proceeded to entertain us although he was clearly in the middle of his own “lunch”. After starting a second bottle of wine we began to feel peckish and he brought us some lovely 1 1/2 year smoked ham from his family’s farm and his own cheese. That got the appetite going so we proceeded to a main course of stewed chicken in port sauce. It was really tasty. We were too full to continue but saw the other courses coming out for larger parties. It looked and smelled delicious. This place is small with only 4 or 5 tables and smoking will occur as the owner smokes and his customers/friends do as well. We loved it here.

Simplesmente, excelente, autêntico, divertido e sobretudo diferente!!! O espaço e o conceito são a cara e a personalidade do proprietário, Tito definitivamente excêntrico, único e com uma mão para a cozinha ímpar!!! A comida é caseira com um gosto tipicamente lisboeta, português. Recomendo vivamente visitarem pois é uma experiência única!!!!

Absolutely wotrth place to visit! Small local restaurant (only few tables) There's no menu, host just bring you dishes made from the producs from his own farm. Everything is simple but taste is SOOOO delicious. Wine is also very good. But the most impressive is an atmosphere of this place. So much cozy and fun, just like you meet your old friend.

You MUST go here! We lucked out because we were sta6ting in the neighborhood but I would happily cross town to come here. The chef makes your meal vs ordering from a menu. It is well balanced, from the heart and the flavors were on point! We ate food from his family's farm and drank wine from their vineyards. It doesn't get more authentic Portuguese than this!

minha família está aqui para jantar e gostamos. não há cardápio porque eles tiram as coisas da fazenda da família. o bacalhau era excelente e delicioso, mas eu pessoalmente não gostei muito da carne. as batatas servidas com a carne estavam deliciosas. No geral, foi uma boa refeição, mas a música era um pouco alta demais e um pouco cara para o meu gosto.

The food is excellent. Owner is very passionate and very vocal about his knowledge and passion for portuguese food.

What an amazing experience! We totally loved our evening here. I highly recommend going as you won’t find a place like this elsewhere in Lisbon. We asked for a menu and the guys explained how it changes all the time depending on produce from their family farm. We didn’t order anything, instead Tito - the chef - brought us out a selection of dishes and just wow. Each dish was sublime. We loved chatting to them about the flavours, the wine and just Lisbon in general. Could easily have spent more time there but needed a good sleep after all the food we ate! A really wonderful, unique experience. Already planning our next trip, just to come here again x

The best typical Portuguese restaurant in town ! We went twice in one week, the staff is amazing, super welcoming and the food is delicious. Highly recommended ! Special mention to the chef and for your warm welcome ! Keep it like this, we will be back for sure

We had the most amazing meal tonight at this Restaurant! The staff, the cook, the waiter, everyone was so Friendly and helpful. We were constantly brought out all these delicious dishes until we could not physically eat anything more and it was so perfect and traditionally portuguese. We even recieved free glasses of wine. I could not fault this place and everything was so reasonably priced i would reccomend to everybody!

Ci siamo arrivati per caso ma assolutamente consigliato!!! Personale gentilissimo e simpatico, piatti e vino strepitosi! Cibo tipico portoghese, da provare!!!

A imagem de marca desta taberna é sem duvida a simpatia e espontaneidade do Grande Tito e a mão de Deus do Eduardo Ribeiro na cozinha. Um local de paragem obrigatório para quem aprecia o verdadeiro sabor da cozinha tradicional Portuguesa. Recomendo o Codfish à Brás, um must!!
