Must go here! I wish I could have eaten more... food is primo and the service was excellent. The chef clearly loves food and knows how to make dishes that are authentic with a fine dining twist. Very affordable, and the decor is like walking into an era from our past... the whole experience felt like I walked into somewhere special. Thank you! I wish I took more pictures, the one I did take of food was Pork neck With beans... the neck was rich and melted like butter.. the beans... diced apple, speck (I think or jamon) and I don’t know what he did but the best beans I’ve had! Un ambiente molto carino dall’atmosfera rilassante e piacevole con cibi gustosi e particolari .. strepitosa accoglienza peccato che ci siamo dimenticati lo zaino “deejay ten” (in data 19/04/2019) mica l’avete visto??

Experiência agradável desde a entrada até à saída. Uma antiga mercearia transformada num óptimo restaurante. A ementa é uma surpresa pois as escolhas não são muitas mas as indicadas para terem uma experiência gastronómica agradável. Adorei o atendimento efetuado pelo Luís, as suas sugestões e principalmente a sua playlist. Obrigada pela experiência positiva e pela agradável noite que nos proporcionou. Recomendo

O ambiente é muito acolhedor, pedimos pão e foi uma surpresa pois vieram duas qualidades, um de caril (divinal) e de tâmaras com uma azeite e vinagre balsâmico, foi um belo início de refeição, a carta tinha 6 opções o que achei muito adequado, uma escolha mais fácil e quando chegaram os pratos estavam deliciosos e com a quantidade certa. As sobremesas também com uma escolha adequada e todas brutais. A carta de vinhos é uma agradável surpresa. Desde o momento em que entrámos até á saída fomos sempre acompanhados pelo chefe de sala Luís Gama que fez com que a experiência fosse a melhor possível. No final ainda tivemos direito a um saco de pano com o logo do restaurante, um mimo muito apreciado. Relação qualidade preço ajustada!

Un piccolo ed accogliente ristorante che offre un numero limitato di piatti ma ben cucinati ed abbondanti. L'atmosfera è piacevole e romantica. Ho particolarmente apprezzato la simpatia e professionalità della cameriera che oltre a farci stare bene ci ha poi consigliato un bellissimo miradouro notturno di Lisbona. Prezzi giusti, specie a confronto di altri ristoranti a Lisbona che è una città meno economica di quanto si pensi.

This is a gorgeous restaurant in the Lapa district. The food is top notch and the proprietor, Luis Gama, was gracious and helpful about our attempts at speaking Portuguese. Our group of six would unanimously eat there again during out week stay.

The restaurant offers a large choice of good wines and a choice of many well thought out dishes. The owner was very friendly and well mannered and the food was absolutely delicious and very well presented.

This was the greatest restaurant on our trip to Lisbon. The host is extremely polite and friendly, and does everything in his power to give you a pleasant experience. The interior is authentic and atmospheric. The cart has a small variety of dishes, but they are all equally amazing, from starters to deserts. Besides all of that, they offer a wide variety of quality wines. I can highly recommend this location for a quality long dinner.

Very lovely place. Beautiful decoration, very sweet owner, and simply delicious food. Wine was great as well, and all for a more than reasonable price.

Lovely, cozy place, with very friendly, professional and caring service. The Serrano ham plate was also absolutely delicious as well as the house wine. We went for the chicken rice as the main, which sounds simple, but it was much more than that. It was THE proper comfort food you wish for when jet legged and/or tired. They surprised us with a complimentary dessert, not talking about the tote bags and the history of the place (and some candles as some personal specials) on the way out. Super place, great food, amazing staff.

Se come muy bien y la atención es la mejor. Repetimos para la cena de año nuevo. La relación precio calidad es mejor que lo esperado!

The best food in Portugal. Period. True and real, prepared with love. Served with passion. In amazing old grocery store place from 60's. With manager who is also a chef and a waiter. Who knows all the ingredients and recepies. Mind blowing experience. It was more like private cook show. True, hearty Portuguese cusine. Abbiamo prenotato tramite "the fork" per provare questo posto con il 50% di sconto, abbiamo avuto l'impressione però che anche le dosi dei piatti fossero dimezzate, sembravano piccole tapas ma al costo (10€ l'una) di un piatto normale. Purtroppo a bilanciare questo non c'è stata neanche una qualità all'altezza, i piatti erano tutto sommato buoni ma ci hanno dato l'impressione di non valere assolutamente il prezzo. Bella atmosfera comunque, ma non torneremo e non lo consigliamo.

Gostei muito. a arquitetura é incrível. O local é muito bonito mesmo. Têm um charme incrível. O serviço é maravilhoso. Parece quê está em casa. Gostamos de tudo quê comemos. Não somos muito de beber. Más assim mesmo gostamos de comida tipo boteco. Tudo com muito sabor. O chefe é incrível. vá vai gostar.

Accueil très chaleureux et attention particulière portée aux clients, ça fait plaisir. Le chef, qui est le patron je crois, est très sympathique. Il nous a fait goûter ses créations de cocktails. Très bonne cuisine savoureuse. Je recommande vivement.

Ambiente muito original a imitar uma antiga mercearia onde a calma e tranquilidade residem. Este é o melhor atributo deste restaurante já que a comida apesar de ser boa não é nada de extraordinário e o preço é elevado para a típica carteira portuguesa. Se aplicarmos alguns dos descontos disponíveis acaba por ser mais justo mas mesmo assim demasiado para o que se recebe.

Coqueto restaurante de iluminacion baja y muebles de madera oscura con carta pequeña pero bien escogida. Raciones no muy grandes pero muy ricas.

So came there after reading very good reviews about the cocktails & cachaca bar ... Saturday night @ 9:30pm -> restaurant was dead empty and still the owner told us that it was "diner only" ... Pathetic O_o

One of my favorite restaurants in Lisbon. Very quiet and low profile, and the food is amazing! The staff is very friendly, the environment is just perfect for a romantic dinner!
