Food was delicious, everything was made in front of me. The falafel and hummus was fresh and tasty. And the owner was very nice to talk to. Very good experience I would highly recommend!

We found this little jewel of a Restaurant on the Happy Cow App and were not disappointed.
The concept is fantastic and the owner and his staff make you very welcome. Hummus, Salad, fresh Pita Bread, Poultry. Vegan and Vegetarian all possible. A must if you love middle eastern food and spices and if you don‘t try it anyway. You will love it!

This is the best middle East we have tried in many European countries. So much authentic, not customised for European taste but wonderful. The lemonade , the orange juice with chili are very good. You should come and get this cost place. Not to miss in Lisbon!

Primeiro, chegamos para fazer um pedido e o cozinheiro estava preparando um prato lambendo os dedos, e depois o vimos também colocar uma colher na boca para experimentar a comida que iria ser servida e usou a mesma para encher o prato do cliente que ele iria servir. Depois, o lugar chama a atenção na entrada, mas quando se vê lá dentro do espaço de trabalho, é extremamente sujo e mal cuidado, com um WC que também não é muito bom ou bem limpo. O cozinheiro também é extremamente rude, principalmente com o staff, pois nós vimos, estressado, apressado sem necessidade com vontade de atender com urgência mas tendo pouca higiene. Achamos que para um lugar como esse, seria diferente. Pão pita caro demais que é aquecido congelado em microondas. Não é uma cozinha autêntica. JAMAIS vou indicar.

A comida é boa, os ingredientes são frescos e estão visíveis mas o preço é claramente muito superior ao admissível. Diria que pelo menos 40% acima do preço. É um espaço de "take-away" e comer no local é pouco confortável, só há uma mesa única, as portas abertas para servir as entregas deixam entrar vento. Estaria tudo bem se fosse muito mais barato. Não sendo, não recomendo.

Food was delicious! Service was super welcoming! Concept (one huge table for all the guests) is nice, unfortunately we did not have neighbours at the table. Feels like high quality food, therefore it has no fast-food-prices, but it is worth it!

Fantastic place, great food, authentic. I have been a big fan of hummus for a while now but recently visited Jordan and this was next level of how great hummus and Middle East sort of tapas can be. Eversince I have had cravings for good Middle East street food in Lisbon. I was extremely happy to find Yallah one day. Definitely best hummus in town, great atmosphere, authentic, fresh and absolutely not pretentious! I've been twice and will definitely go again! Strongly recommend!

Really delicious food, awesome staff, and owner is super cool and friendly. Some of the best tahina, hummus, and aubergine dishes I've ever had. You really must go and try it if you like middle eastern food. It's in a great location too, so you have no excuse not to try it :)

Boa sugestão, tem pratos vegan, vegetarianos, alguns com carne e peixe também. Embora tenha gostado da decoração do espaço, não aprecio muito o facto de ter uma só mesa para partilhar com outras pessoas (foto). Atendimento simpático, não gostei do sistema de ter que pagar ao balcão antes de comer. Boa comida, ingredientes de qualidade, a preços acessíveis. Não é o meu restaurante vegetariano preferido mas é uma boa sugestão...

The atmosphere is really cozy and warm. The food is really unique and especially the babbaganoush is a recommendation and the Yallah pita has these delicious and unique spices.
Overall it is a really good place to eat healthy and cozy with your friends ;-)

Excelente pequeno restaurante de comida do médio oriente onde as pessoas se sentam numa mesa comum e o serviço é descontraído. Provei o mezze com vários pratos e umas óptimas pitas. Para acabar uma mousse de chocolate com cardamomo que era deliciosamente original. Boa opção também para take away

Well... this was fairly disappointing... First of all it’s pricey for the portion size. Then the man on the counter could not understand us neither in Portuguese nor in English, neither could he tell me the brands of beer and the juices he had. Then we were asked to pay before, so every time we wanted something more we had to get a wallet, flash a card, enter code and repeat... dumb... in the end both me and my friend felt disappointed with the food quality and left feeling a bit indisposed. (Writing from the sofa drinking a tea trying not to trow up...)

Kinda expensive for the amount of food served. It was tasty but too little for the 3 of us... Also didn't like the fact that they charge you for each pita served as a side and they are not included in simple dishes like hummus... Not coming back and I'm a huge fan of middle eastern food.

Great Middle Eastern food, nice and friendly service. Nice atmosphere, one big table with seats around. Perfect location, if you don’t have to much time it’s best place to grab&go .

Disappointing and not that great; €6 for hummus, on its own served without pita bread (nothing special and a small portion for the price), €5 for falafel (four rock hard and burnt on the outside pieces; akin to uniformly shaped camel poo with a sandpaper like coating!! - really poor and somewhat lacking in flavour), €1.50 for one plain circular (I’m assuming shop bought!!) pita bread that had clearly been zapped in a microwave (steamed and damp - just horrible!!)
They claim their food is just like what you would get in Jerusalem... yeh right, don’t believe the hype!! Sadly the food is anything but; it’s overpriced (for what it is) and, on this occasion, overcooked!! - there’s much better Middle Eastern restaurants in Lisbon; sadly this one falls short!! I’d rather pay more for decent food than what’s being passed off as authentic cuisine here!!
It’s more like a “hole in the wall” fast food joint (with communal table and grab your own cutlery/napkins) pretending to be a proper restaurant...
Would not recommend; Yallah... more like Não Não - not good; all in all a very unsatisfactory experience...

Amazing food, reasonable prices, friendly staff. Love the concept of a communal table - seemed to turn off a few people who stuck their heads in, but come hang out (or take out if you're feeling antisocial :)

It’s been two weeks since I ate there and I’m still thinking about it! Every bite was more delicious than the last. Truly can’t recommend this place enough!! Best food you will have in Lisbon. Prices aren’t bad considering the quality of the food!

It’s a cozy place, BUT it’s too pricey, especially in Portuguese standards. I was charged almost 11€ for a vegetarian salad and a single glass of sparkling water, and the service wasn’t the best. So I can’t really recommend it.

Wir waren letztes Jahr in Israel, aber so gute Falafel haben wir selten gegessen. Der Chef dazu ein sympathischer und freundlicher Mann, der sich mit jedem Tisch unterhält. Absolut empfehlenswert

We just had a delicious late libane breakfast and enjoyed the fresh homemade meals. I recommend to order the mix-plate and share. Will definitely come back . The chef speaks English and French and maybe some more languages ;)

If you want fresh, vibrant and healthy food make sure to stop by yallah! You'll be greated by a super friendly and nice staff always prompted to help and that will make the best recommendations - always with a smile! Their hummus... omg the best I have ever had in my entire life. A must go to in Lisbon!

Top notch mezze in Lisbon. We were in a mood for some falafel and stumbled upon this place (thanks Google!). WOW! What a find!! It’s a small place but literally everything we picked on the menu was absolutely delicious. They also have plenty of vegetarian options which worked well for us. Plus they have nice beverage options e.g. Orange Juice with coriander and chili, fresh lemonade with mint, etc. I have eaten plenty of mezze before, and Yallah ranks among the top 5 for me. If you go, don’t miss the falafel, beet root dip and pumpkin dip. Yummy!

Very disappointed with the food. Had to pay extra for pitta with mezze. Hummus disappointing and lacking in flavour. Yallah kebab was a secret mix of spices but I couldn't taste any spices at all-very bland. Overall, very expensive for what you get and we left still feeling hungry!

Stumbled upon on this joint and one of the best quick lunch we had in Lisbon. The cashier / check was super nice and made several great recommendations. Make sure to order the hummus and the freshly squeezed mint lemonade as your starter! We will be back!

First review I have left in years. Had to say something as the food and service was amazing. Hagay was an incredibly welcoming and provided some great recemmodations. Babaganoush, Kebab and Cardamon Choc Mousse where the highlights. Go there!

We absolutely loved this restaurant! We happened upon it during a walk and can't stop talking about it. The owner is very friendly. The lemonade and orange juice were extra special treats! Would highly recommend this place!

Excellent food, craft beer by the bottle, very friendly welcome. Vegan and vegetarian options, but my lamb was superb. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area.

Un lugard muy acogedor y tranquilo con comida del medio Ortiente con un toque de originalidad y salido servicio del Chef y propietario Hagay Elle. El falafel lo mejor . Si visitas Chiado no te lo pierdas. 100% recomendado.

Situated at the heart of lisbon where most tourists visit. Just alight at the baixa chiado metro station and this restaurant is about 5 minutes walk. No need to go to the little streets as it is along the main street where the trams pass by
Free wifi and moist towelettes
My experience with the food was really very satisfactory. The food wasn’t bland as most foods are in Portugal. I highly recommend their fresh orange juice with chilli peppers.

We found “Yallah” by looking out the window from the Tram 28 and wanted to take a closer look the next day. My first impression was very welcoming and friendly. You’ll feel like you’re at a friend’s house. It’s cozy without being crowded. The food was at its best. I ordered the Falafel Pita and the portion was the perfect size. It’s a shame, “Yallah” has not more publicity. Then again, you’ll get the feeling that you’re the only one who found a gem in Lisbon.

Gemütlich. Sehr lecker und gute Preise. Man fühlt sich wie Zuhause. Es ist kein richtiges Restaurant. Eher ein Imbiss mit Wohlfühlfaktor. Genau das wollte der Besitzer auch erzielen (wie in der Historie beschrieben) Man kann sehen wie das Essen zubereitet wird.

A bit disappointed most of it seems to be cooked from frozen, and hands used to touch everything without washing after handling change and touching face. Also portion size is Just not adequate for price paid... I really wanted to give a good review but it’s unfair given the quality in Lisbon is so high usually.

I had such a wonderful experience here. First, the food is amazing, especially the falafels. The entire chill vibe and aesthetics of the restaurant are great. But most importantly, the service was particularly special since the staff members were engaged and great to have a conversation with.
If you're in the area and need a quick pick-me-up or a sit down dinner with friends, don't miss out!
