Pequena refeição fraca, cama ruim, poucos banheiros e fica nos fundos. No meu caso ainda peguei em um outro prédio muito apertado e tem uma brasileira que toma conta muito folgada e ignorante . Fez me sentir mal.

Assolutamente perfetto, ha superato come confort di letti lo hostello di Shepard Bush in London che reputavo uno dei migliori in Europa. Shepard resta cmq il migliore. Nota dolente. Di questo hostello è rappresentata dalla mancanza di ascensori e dalla gestione manageriale che sottrae soldi alla proprietà all'insaputa del grande fratello....

Posto organizzato e ben gestito, luogo conviviale e gente disposta alla socializzazione. Nel prezzo è compresa la colazione, all'interno si programmano anche pranzi e cene con cibi tipici a prezzi irrisori.

Good staff with good facilities but does not AC or fan in rooms.. Its too hot sometimes and sleeping in such weather without AC or fan becomes difficult

Good hostel in the city centre. They have all the facilities and the beds are of decent size. The hostel is clean and also has a cooking area. The complimentary breakfast is also good.

Metro a 1m para todo. Barato, desayuno incluido bueno para lo que pagas (aunque lo sirven a las 8.30am, algo tarde) y opción de cena por 5 euros si llegas cansado. Todo lo esperado en hostales para jóvenes. Amabilidad, ambiente relajado, cooperación, etc. No me gustó que la zona común y cocina cerrase sobre las 11.30. Si no puedes dormir o te apetece leer hasta tarde, solo puedes hacerlo en tu cama o en los los bancos duros del pasillo. Internet lentorro en mi habitación, pequeña biblioteca con lo que los guiris se dejan, check out a las 11 pm. En general: buen hostal y buenos servicios y buena comunicación que es lo más importante si vienes a exprimir Lisboa.

Hostel has 2 diferent buildings, situated one close to another. If you are situated in main building it is cool and nice, but we were situated in another building (thats the reason why I am giving grade 3 for this hostel), which means that we were separated form the main kitchen, main living room, reception etc, so it felt like we are renting a room in apartment and not a hostel with all its benefits. Rooms are just ok, bathrooms are new and nice as is the staff. Breakfast is really poor, but since I dont care a lot about food it didnt affect the grade I am giving.

Price is ok, but we didnt get deposit back ( cca 30e for 3 nights, they said its fee for website, but in Porto they gave it back despite we booked both hostels on same site) Hostel is great, big kitchen, big place to chill, good WC, basic klassic rooms. BUT they put us in different buiding, with too small kitchen with nothing except cups and plates. No frige and no room to sit for more that 6 persons. Poor breakfast!

Extremely Disappointing I arrived just after 23:00 to discover they close down their computers as well as online to bookings. They gave me no help to find a new hostel at all. I asked if I could use the WiFi to find something else and while I was there they checked in others who previously booked online. The "speach" they gave to the new comers was very fake and detached. Plus the fact they had no interest in helping me I'm glad I didn't stay. I was interested in the fact they claim to be ECO Friendly. Like I said they where not friendly but may be eco I don't know. Good Luck if anyone stays with them.

Nice place and good staff but the fact that they close the common room after midnight because of the neighbours was a tragedy.

I arrived close to 11pm at the hostel. I dropped my stuff in the room and went out to grab some food. Upon arriving I faced with the fact that the kitchen is closed from 11pm till the morning so I won't be able to cook my food. As they were vegetables (tomato, bell peppers etc.) I started to eat them raw in the communal room. I and two other guys were also were advised then to leave that premises because the cleaning had been done and they would like us to find a place elsewhere to be. So we went away for about 2-3 meters and stayed standing on our feet in the corridor between the communal/reception room and the smoking room. They were drinking beer and I was chewing and were staring the empty communal room and were snickering a bit about the situation. I booked a bed in a 4 bed 'deluxe' room. It turned out that room is next to all the junctions and the main entrance which also has a bell(!) on the wall, literally the other side of the 'deluxe' room's wall. So every time when someone came back during the night and couldn't find or just didn't want to find their card, pressed the bell (sometimes more than once of course) to let the night shift receptionist know that they'd like to get in and also those who slept in that room. Why don't the receptionists have a personal device attached on their belt which would let them know if anyone is there? All the doors aren't able to close themselves firmly, all of them slam themselves, another noise source. The beds feel like lying on springs and a layer of canvas. I know that it'd be a huge investment to get proper mattresses but at least they should include a soft or at least a softer layer on the top. The receptionist let the music on as loud that I could easily hear what she was listening, which wasn't that bad but still. So these circumstances ruled out that small chance to sleep well. Add to these there were no labels on the doors which leads to where (toilets, showers) but as I could find out it might be not that necessary because I only found one toilet when the showers with toilets were engaged (4 of them I think), which is not that many if I consider how many people are squeezed in that building at a time, especially during the morning. When I left the next day I left my bag there because I wanted to collect it later on. It was not a problem at all, but they said I should just leave next to the reception desk on the shelves. No labels or locks or anything. When I asked back how can anyone prove which luggage belongs to them the lady said they never had any problems and the guy said it's true but it's a good question. I could easily get in the hostel during the evening when I arrived and was wondering for a few minutes before I went to the reception desk. The guys on the street who also stayed in the hostel let me in before I pressed the bell so anyone could get in the same way. But(!) to add something good, all the staff were nice and also the people. It was really cheap though it's not a surprise anymore =) and there's also breakfast including in the price (though I skipped it =D) which somehow balance all these excitements.

I have no been in three different hostels during my 2 week stay. I had great fun in urban hostel. More staff. Very friendly, helpful. Great place to chill. Big common area. Toilets are always clean and tidy. The bed is king size. Which I never come across in my recent travelling in hostels. Price wise you will never go wrong. Very well decorated. Kitchen is overlooking common area. Breakfast is included in the price. Which will give one more reason to stay compared to other hostels.

It's a very cheap bed and shower. It's perfect if that's all you're looking for. The staff are very very friendly and always willing to help, and they have some great events on offer too

Por el precio que pagas esta bastante bien, sobre 15 € la noche y además el desayuno incluido, muy cerca del centro, la atmósfera del sitio es agradable y puedes beber en el bar a precios muy competitivo, el staff bastante agradable.

The check in went good but I thought it was strange to have 1 card for 2 persons. The staff was friendly. The bed was comfy but the room was not ventilating nicely so it stinks. Although I would love to keep the window open but then it's to cold if you sleep at the window. Breakfast was basic but great for this pricing. All rooms were nice and tidy.

I spent there 3 days. It's very nice. The atmosphere is amazing, full of funny people, nice staff. The place has also an acoustic guitar and a classical guitar, and an ukulele. I jammed with strangers. Amazing. Then the price is very low. I reccomere you to go there

If I could give this hostel a 10 star rating, I would. There's no way I can express through words how much I truly enjoyed my stay here. I spent the weekend in Lisbon and this was my very first hostel experience. I was worried about the quality of the rooms and the people, but I must say everything was super clean (including the bathrooms), the decorations were lovely, and most importantly the staff and guests were extremely welcoming! They planned fun social events in their common room, provided breakfast, and even had a little music freestyle session in the hallway. Note: if you appreciate good guitar playing and talented soccer players, then you'll love the vibe here! Everyone was charming! I truly believe that part of the reason I enjoyed Lisbon so much was because I fell in love with this hostel.

If you're looking for a Hostel where sleeping isn't allowed, you found it. This is a party house, drinking is encouraged from early, loud music, poor breakfast, tiny rooms, tiny kitchen, complicated forever checking in system. Not enough bathrooms, toilets and they aren't clean anyway. Funky smell and worst hostel experience of any normal person's life. The room was also cold, hard to enjoy the city when you have sore throat and a bad cough because of it.

Came here to check in due to a 10 hr layover in Portugal, and it was completely worth it. Cheap pricing and a beautiful eco friendly environment to top it off ❤ Definitely recommend!

Check-in hat ewig gedauert. Es gab zu wenige Badezimmer für so viele Gäste. Mitarbeiter einige waren supernett andere zu cool drauf und hatten keinen freundlichen Umgang mit den Gästen. Aber die Sauberkeit war das grösste Problem in diesem Hostel. Und man hatte keine Möglichkeit nach 23h sich irgendwo aufzuhalten, weil sie die öffentlichen Aufenthaltsräume, wie Wohnzimmer und Küche geschlossen haben.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The hostel was clean. They offer a lot of resources to explore the area. I enjoyed the free breakfast (~8-11 hr). The pancakes are amazing - I was addicted to them. They offer nightly dinners for a few euro; I never participated but I’m sure it was a fun time. I loved the open hangout space and modern feel. The vibe was quite laid back which I enjoyed because I was not looking to party hard. If you are, GSpot Hostel is known to be pretty wild. Additionally, I liked the security measures as you had to ring the door bell after 23 hour and there’s double entry into the hostel, then your room. I don’t give it 5 stars because I felt that it was a bit far from the main touristy spots. Which for some, might be a plus, but for me, it was a minus because although you are right next to a major metro station, it added 30+ minutes to my commute, and I was impatient / lazy and spent more money on taxis and ride shares than I wanted. When I travel, I prefer to be right in the heart of everything, so I can walk within 5 minutes. I also don’t give it 5 stars because the eggs during free breakfast run out early; and I felt that often the breakfast would be cleaned up before the allotted time was over. Note: towels are a 2 euro charge, and you need to bring your own lock for the in-dorm lockers. Overall, I would stay again and I would suggest it to others.

It's the most EAAK hostel in the whole city. There is always a bad smell of garlic and other disgusting foods in the air so the balcony doors of your room should be opened all the time. The bathrooms are unpleasant and not cleaned regularly. Just avoid it guys.

It's a nice place right in the centre of town. Right beside a metro station. Plenty of space to hang out comfortably inside or in the courtyard. Owner is a super nice guy and made us pancakes in the morning. Overall super welcoming host, clean and a great spot to stay while you go out and explore what Lisbon has to offer.

HORRIBLE Nous avons réservé dans la soirée et on nous a bien confirmer notre reservation, pour au final se faire virer comme des mal propres en pleine nuit et sans aucune autre chose à nous dire que : "Je ne me repeterée pas." La fille de l acceuil était tout simplement odieuse et nous à tous laisser à la rue pour une nuit !! Jamais eu d'expérience aussi mauvaise dans ma vie. J'invite au boycott de ce lieu !

The boss man was great. The check out was late and the atmosphere was great. I just thought it was weird that the staff was complaining about having to show around...literally one worker said to me "the boss makes us turn the place to new backpackers" (which takes 5 or 10 mins and is useful)

The place is super clean however my bed was super annoying, the base was not stable, every time I move the bed moves and the metal base grinds . Friendly staff when I arrived but absent in the morning I wait over one hour at the reception to get back my deposit, until the cleaning lady help me with it, the staff never appeared.

Terrible for its price. Card to access the room stops working in the middle of the night. they give you rooms that are not on the picture and so small nothing fits. breakfast you better buy your own. It is fine if you expect not too much/ what they describe.

So overall decent, however in less than 10m2 we were 6 people with no Aircon. Not only that, but we were booked in a new part of the hostel, a bit away from the actual hostel. While we were made aware of this, it sort of ruins the experience when the only real common area is at the actual hostel. The new part is really cramped overall and it was not really the experience I had thought I would get when I booked it. Breakfast, while included (free(tm)), was also pretty barebones, and apparently they ran out of muesli at 9, when the breakfast started at 8:30. Friendly staff though.

A dos cuadras de la Avenida Libertade en Lisboa es uno de los mejores hostales en la ciudad y aprecio su muy accesibles. La estadía incluye desayunos desde las 8 am hasta 11 am. Recomendaciones: -Tratar de quedarse en una litera que tenga cerca toma corriente, ya que algunas literas no cuentan con eso. - En la mañana suele haber tráfico para ir a las duchas. Tener eso en cuenta si quiero ir al baño.

Hostel not recommended. I stayed one night in the new part of the hostel, no air conditioning installed while we were in heat (42 ° C). It was warmer in the room than outside, even after dark, it was an unbearable night. To avoid. Auberge déconseillée. J'y ai logé une nuit, dans la nouvelle partie de l'auberge, aucune climatisation d'installée alors que nous étions en pleine canicule (42°C). Il faisait plus chaud dans la chambre que dehors, même une fois la nuit tombée, ce fut une nuit insupportable. À éviter.

Lovely place and very nice staff! Also, breakfast includes pancakes possible to buy really good dinner.. they really make you feel welcome here. Bathrooms are nice and clean. Only, don't forget to bring earplugs if you plan to sleep from 10pm because parties are really loud. And very fun to attend to if you're not sleeping :)

We stayed in Urban Garden Hostel a couple of weeks ago. It was our second time in Lisbon and we wanted to stay in a calmed area, but in a place with good atmosphere, and that is what we found in Urban Garden Hostel. The place was clean, nice, close to the city centre and the services were very good. They do some decent white wine sangria too ;) I would definitely recommend it to any backpacker that wants to travel to Lisbon. Thanks a lot!

Urban Garden Hostel is a very open and welcoming hostel! The location is great, close to the metro. The rooms are very nice, and the beds are pretty comfortable for such a cheap hostel. The service I've had at this hostel is great, the staff is very hospitable.

Very nice Hostel, kind staff. I really enjoyed the "all you can drink & eat" with local dinner specialties. The furniture was nice and cozy, there's a big living room where you can meet others, watch tv or just read one of the books from the bookshelf.

Honestly this hostel was probably the best stay I’ve ever had anywhere, we stayed there with a group from college and all the staff were incredibly friendly, they were extremely helpful with anything we needed and more than anything they were all great to have a conversation with. We even ended up doing a pub crawl with them and ended up having our best night in Lisbon. Would really recommend and would definitely come back!!

It's hard to find something negative to say when you had such a good time in an hostel. The urban garden is - like the name says - a green corner in the wonderful city of Lisbon. Stylish, extremely clean and welcoming, the place is managed by a large staff that is nice and helpful to all customers. Everyday you can find different activities to spend free time in the best way (karaoke, yoga, game night, etc) and to know other people and the staff itself. Great price/value for rooms that are comfy and spacious and for bathrooms that are shared but individual. Breakfast is included in the price and gives you plenty of choice, environment is all around lively and full of opportunities. If I have to find a negative, I would say the caution fee (to pay at arrival) for the electronic key might be a problem for those who are travelling on a really low budget. Highly recommended, and next time I'm in Lisbon I will come back for sure!

Experiencia pésima. La limpieza brilla por su ausencia. El trato al cliente nefasto y con aires de superioridad como dice un usuario en su review. He estado en montones de albergues durante toda mi vida y en la vida he estado en un sitio tan surrealista en el mal sentido como este. Si ya el staff se cuela en tu cuarto (y en el de mis compañeros) estando dentro para hacer spam de que pagues por servicios extras y sin darles permiso, no quiero imaginar lo que harán cuando no estuviéramos. "Desayuno gratis" dice. Lava y recoge tus platos tú mismo y 'come' (ni aceite de oliva ni leche sin lactosa) en cuencos fregados por otros. Compañeros míos han visto cómo usuarios simplemente aclaraban los platos con agua y luego esos mismos platos eran los que usaban el resto de usuarios en el desayuno!?! Evitar a toda costa. Hay muchísimas mejores opciones en la ciudad con calidad precio aceptable, no como este.

Para empezar pésimo trato de la mayoría de los voluntarios, se sienten Aires de superioridad de su parte. Poco compañerismo y mucha falsedad y flexibilidad en general. Realmente me fui porque no me sentí cómodo con el personal, desde la administración, las personas de limpieza y los voluntarios. Se nota que tampoco hay buen feeling entre ellos y su forma de trabajar. No recomiendo para nada y el precio para la ubicación y lo que ofrecen es realmente caro. El desayuno es bastante escaso y limitado y tiene pocos baños para la cantidad de habitaciones con las que cuenta. Camas muy incómodas y pésimo horario de uso de la cocina y espacios en general. Las actividades que proponen en las distintas páginas tampoco se cumplen. En total una muy mala experiencia.

Fantástico. Atención encantadora en recepción, habitaciones limpias con cómodas camas (hay que llevar candado para los lockers), buenas duchas y desayuno delicioso. Sugerencia para el hostel: plantearse colocar lamparitas para cada cama.

I’ve been to several hostels throughout Europe so I was disappointed in this one, even though I had received two recommendations from friends! The rooms are small with little space to put down and open your luggage. The lockers don’t come with locks. The sheets were stained with brown spots and there were a couple of dead bugs on my blanket. There is no public space other than the kitchen and a big room that serves as the reception and dining room and computer room. So if you want to take calls or do some work, forget it because there’s always a lot of people (which is nice and social) and constant loud music playing (which is nice for when you don’t need to do work). The bathrooms are unclean and one open hall bathroom was supposed to serve at least three rooms (with 6 or 8 persons in each). You can imagine the competition for the showers. There’s little privacy in general. Dinner also starts at 9, which I know is normal for Portugal, but seems a bit late for a hostel.

Proven to be the chillest/cheapest place to stay in lisbon, My brother and i tried every other hostel... And the staff there are your amigos)

Strict policy: no entry after 23h in the common rooms, felt like high school camp the way this was said and the light were put off... There was also a situation with four volunteers hanging at the desk, talking to one guest, when the doorbell ringed three times, no one responded, and what I hope was a colleague (but maybe it was a guest) said “guys the door”, a girl responded agitated and said he should do something about it himself if it bugs him... Ehmmm.... Then I think it’s a NO GO to start a discussion with a guest in the middle of a common room. The guest asked for somewhere private and this was turned down since the manager could not leave the desk for 10 minutes apparently (what happens when you need to go the bathroom..?!). The discussion became really uncomfortable and the guest left angry. Also I think it’s really rude to discuss what happened with this guest in front of all other guests again with your colleague and when another guest confront you with this, it’s totally wrong to start yet another discussion by defending yourself and demand that the guest repeats what you must have said. Andddd the phone, which u used to complain again, was used in the same room with all guests to hear, again..... So staff, big NO. Basics are covert. It’s a nice interior. Bedrooms, bathrooms and breakfast are what you can expect for this (for us last minute)price but I’ve seen better (cornflakes, prepackaged croissants and white broad to roast with only spread to choose from). To bad since this hostel has good potential.

Ostello pulito, personale cordiale e posizione abbastanza buona. La colazione inclusa non è male (cereali, latte, te, caffe, pane tostato) e la sala comune è molto bella. L’ostello è pulito, anche se la camera da 16 in cui ero come pulizia lasciava a desiderare. Bagni puliti ma spesso occupati essendocene 8 per tutto l’ostello. Le aree esterne non sono un granché e l’ostello dopo le 23 shuts down.

Atendimento bom, mas poucos funcionários falam português. Pequeno-almoço razoável, mas falta um recheio para o pão. Camas muito confortáveis, mas tudo no quarto fazia muito barulho. Dentro e fora. Lugar inteiro muito abafado e quente. Localização excelente. Banheiros: pouquíssimos para tantos hóspedes, limpeza era feita de forma superficial e nos horários de grande fluxo ficava um caos.

J'ai beaucoup aimer l'accueil,avoir quelqu'un qui parle dans ma langue est agréable et très pratique. les chambres sont propres mais pas trop isolé de la pièce commune Il y a une bonne ambiance avec chaque soir une animation différente Le petit déjeuner est à volonté et il y a de quoi largement se faire plaisir, pour le repas du soir la cuisine est a disposition mais il y également un cuisinier qui vient faire le repas Et puis cette auberge de jeunesse est proche du metro et pas très loin du centre ville a pied ce qui est un vrai plus !

I had the best time at this hostel, really was clean and central ' loved the staff Ali , Diana,Lilly and Vergal for making my stay that much more exciting and helpful , thanks guys I hope I will return soon.

Weird entrance system and hall to the building but when you get inside it’s really cool place. Dining room especially. Loved the breakfast. Staff was amazing, really nice, friendly, helpful and patient. Dorm rooms are alright. Its quite clean for a hostel. Few of the toilets were closed or not working which wasn’t great but the waiting was no longer than few minutes usually. Only thing I didn’t like is that on the website they say they have laundry service but when i asked about it they told me they can just recommend some laundry services that are not very far. So i think they should fix that statement on their site.

Urban Garden Hostel is for sure the best hostel I’ve ever been to. It’s big and has all different things that you may need: two kitchens, lots of bathrooms, main hall, patio etc. The dorms are not huge, but they are just okay to spend time there as you can comfortably seat there and have a good time. The beds are really comfortable. A breakfast that’s included in the price is wonderful: you can choose from big variety of products like jams, chocolate creams and cereals. The staff is just lovely. They are friendly, fun and very positive. You can easily talk with them about any topic you want. Urban Garden Hostel is also home for many great parties, there is one almost every day. For small price you can also buy a dinner there with some alcohol, sometimes it’s unlimited for one hour. Summing up: staying in this hostel was a pleasure and I would definitely go for it again. If you want to visit Lisbon choose Urban Garden Hostel.

Je déconseil fortement cette auberge ainsi que le site de réservation hostel Word. Nous avons réservé en ligne avec demande de traduction en français, nous sommes arrivé et l'accès nous a été refusé car nous avions des enfants en effet les mineurs ne sont pas acceptés. J'ai demandé le remboursement qui m'a été refusé. Côte accyeuil et commercial, tout à revoir. Conclusion nous avons dormi en famille dans la voiture et ne retournerons pas à Lisbonne. En gros si vous êtes en famille il faut être cresus sinon passez votre route !

Horrible! My Backpack was Stolen Out of the "luggage storage"! The Manager didn't care AT ALL!!! He let us wait for hours, and didn't even appear in the end. They have no Security system,which checks who comes in and out. Everyone can just walk in and steal things. After my backpack disappeared,they didn't warn the others,they kept on letting people store their things where it got robbed.the "manager" promised he would check the surveillance camara grabation,after he decided not to appear it turned out that the Camara isn't filming the storage part.great Help!! NO RECOMMONDATION!!!!!

Can't complain everything was great. Extra kind stuff, fluently english speaking, helpful. Room was normal hostel room. Bathrooms were nice and everyday events in hostel were very pleasing. It's worth the price.

Durch und durch ein tolles Hostel! Die Preise sind unschlagbar günstig und Frühstück ist sogar mit inbegriffen. Die Lage ist Top, nah am Zentrum, einer Metro Station und mehreren Supermärkten. Eine tolle Atmosphäre und sehr nette Mitarbeiter. Für Backpacker und Ökos auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen.

Si estás buscando un lugar barato y bien ubicado está genial. Personalmente a mi y a mi amiga no nos han gustado ciertos detalles: el préstamo de toalla son 2€, te hacen comprar un candado, el mal olor del piso donde estaban las habitaciones por una falta de ventilación... Si buscas ir de fiesta y conocer personas es una buena opción, pero si buscas un lugar tranquilo no tanto.

Cheguei a noite, achei escuro e com ar sombrio e assustador. A recepção não fica na entrada, o que gera mais desconfiança. Os quartos são partilhado, não há privacidade. O maior número de hóspedes é muito jovem o que torna o lugar ainda mais caótico e desorganizando. Tive uma péssima impressão. Não gostei. Não volto e não indico.

This hostel was very nice. It had a very good breakfast with a nice coffee machine. The beds are very comfortable and if you rent the deluxe room it is double beds for a very reasonable price. Super clean rooms and friendly helpful staff. Large kitchen with large common area. Meals cooked by the chef are amazing and happy hour everyday as well! Stayed here twice because its an amazing hostel!

A nice place to stay in Lisbon. It's near a metro station and not so far from Baixa do Chiado and Terreiro do Paço. There's also a beautiful park right next to the hostel. They also make pancakes for breakfast and give you a complimentary beer when you check in.

Chille atmosfeer, maar heel druk en je wordt meer als een nummer beschouwd. Heel goed ontbijt met vers omelet en pannekoeken. Personeel is ook heel behulpzaam. Ideaal om te feesten en chillen. Maar niet als je een rustig hostel zoekt.

Clean hostel, with a pretty good location. Staff is very friendly and fun, bathrooms are clean and there's plenty of private showers. Free breakfast every morning which is nice, but the options are limited.

Super auberge si vous voulez rencontrer des jeunes, faire la fete et boire des bieres. Vraiment le lieu est chaleureux et les espaces communs favorisent la rencontre. Par contre pour dormir, c est moins pratique: chambres bruyantes, lits qui grincent, tres chaud. Et il n y a pas assez d espace toilettes: douches et wc sont en commun donc pas fluide. Pour le petit dej, convivial mais se lever tot. Le personnel est tres accueillant!

Located 2 minute walking to Marques de pombal metro station and 30/40 minutes walking to the city center. Pros: big and comfy common area, functional kitchen to cook in, friendly staff, location, good breakfast included, small lockers in the room (bring your own padlock), a laptop to use Cons: shaky bed frames; rooms facing the main street very noisy, no curtains at all in the room which meant sunlight by 6 am (and by 7:30 it was simply impossible to sleep with such a bright light); wifi didn't work in my room; not enough toilets for everyone (i had to wait every single time to use the shower or toilet) and some toilets were closed down, and they got dirty fast cause of the amount of people using them. I've seen the ladies cleaning twice a day, but still dirty after plenty of people passing through. I removed stars cause of the owner and his bad attitude towards a simple question. When he was asked about the curtains in our room by other guest next to me, he replied to me (i didn't even say a word) saying that if you have curtains we would sleep until 4 pm (sorry, but we actually pay to stay in the hostel -wasn't free for me- and if i want to sleep until that time i can, why do you care how much sleep i have??). Then he got more cocky and said that i could stay one day to hang the curtains myself. Well, if you as an owner are asked a question by a guest and answered the way he did, then you don't care about he guests at all. It would've been much more easy explaining why you don't have curtains at that moment and get a temporary solution.

Muito bonito, acolhedor e óóóoooootimo espírito! Uma ilha em Lisboa! Os quartos não são brilhantes mas tudo o resto o é, sobretudo para o preço. Maravilhoso. Voltarei a Lisboa de propósito para lá voltar! É provavelmente o hostel low—cost mais bem localizado de Lisboa e, talvez, do país.

Das Hostel bietet eine Super Atmosphäre! Die Mitarbeitet sind alle sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Küche bietet alles was man braucht und das kostenlose Frühstück schmeckt lecker und bietet auch für Veganer genug Optionen. Das Wohnzimmer hat einen Fenseher, mehrere Sofas und man kann dort auch super Bierpong spielen :) Die Besitzer spielen gerne auch mal mit. Die Zimmer und Badezimmer sind auch alle sehr Sauber !

It was a nice hostel not far from the city center and very next to the subway. It offers free delicious breakfast in a cozy kitchen and they also have a big common area to enjoy your stay meeting new people, playing beer pong and so on. I'd suggest it!

Localização excelente! Próximo ao metrô da Marques do Pombal e perto do aeroporto (€ 7,50 de Uber - 15 minutos). O quarto que fiquei hospedada não possuía chave. Não me senti segura. Ponto negativo. A equipe de limpeza é muito prestativa e simpática, mantendo as áreas comuns, principalmente os banheiros, limpos. Ponto positivo!

Funky hostel that's very hipster and a great vibe. The huge lounge is nice, the kitchen so so, the rooms spacious, but misleading in that they say all beds have outlets and a light. Not true if you're in the 16-bed dorms. There are a few outlets throughout the room, and later I found buried in the back under the bed a power strip with three sockets. Not nearly enough for the 6 beds around it. Beds are metal and very squeaky with sunken in (well loved shall we say). Not being able to charge any of my devices totally screwed me the following day when I checked out for my 8 hour flight (also without any way of charging devices). Location is nice, just a few blocks from a major metro stop with 2 lines crossing (blue and yellow). About 10 minutes by subway to the party and restaurant area. Or a 20 minute walk. Very safe area. Police in Fort are stationed all around and the main avenue is a massive upscale shopping area. Breakfast pancakes were nice. Coffee decent. Staff very friendly. The check in process the most painful I've seen anywhere. And I've worked check-in for a 300+ bed hostel with nearly as painful a system. If booking lady minutes, he sure to call the hostel to reconfirm you actually have a bed as many people were declined due to a lag in their systems with the online 3rd party vendors' systems. This happened to me the same night with a different hostel. I'd stay here again, but in the smaller rooms with the actual amenities listed on the websites.

I stayed in a 16 dorm bedroom. It was very clean, and as quiet as could be expected. Both the Guests and the Staff were tons of fun, I'd definitely stay here again. My only complaint is that there weren't many outlets in the room, so charging stuff was difficult.

If you want to party late every night this is your place. But only stay here if you are happy to have clubbing tunes blaring til midnight. That is house policy. They have huge speakers in reception that ensure that the throbbing baseline reaches the bedrooms. When i asked the receptionist, who had seemed lovely previously, to turn the tunes down, he was pretty rude and told me i should have stayed in a hotel. I wasn't aware that hostel was synonymous with night club, but apparently it is at urban garden. That seemed to be the staff culture here, another girl accused me of stealing someone's pillow in the dorm. Maybe the intent was lost in translation but it came across pretty confrontational and totally unnecessary. The bathrooms are lovely and the common room but the 'deluxe dorms' are very ordinary and very poorly lit. A few bedlamps would hardly break the bank. 'Family dinner' was very poor the night i was there. Save your cash and enjoy the amazing food lisbon has to offer. Shame because it would be a lovely hostel if the staff were a bit nicer and more reasonable.

Check in experience was pretty terrible. We got in around 1am and really wanted to shower and go to bed, but it took about an hour to us to get our room. Guests also don't respect the quiet hours at all, but that part was fine for us. The bunk beds are creaky. We've stayed in hostels in other parts of Europe and this was my least favorite. But the price was good and most of the guests was really nice and chill.

Badly managed place run mostly by unpaid volunteers working a bit for free lodging. My check in took about 90 minutes, a possible world record.

I got the bedbug bite. But nobody in there felt responsibility. And poor wifi and noisy outside(cause cars) and inside. There isnt fresh air. Breakfast is poor. Terrible memories in Lisbon. Poor location. Dirty and uncomfortable bed, and elecricity was so poor. I thought this hostel is just like jungle

Increíble experiencia. Nos hicieron un Tour por el hostel para explicarnos cómo funcionaba todo, en perfecto castellano. Tienen una convivencia muy sana y buena. Es como estar en tu casa. La localización es perfecta, justo al lado del metro y a unos minutos andando del centro. Sin duda, uno de los mejores Hostels a los que he ido nunca. Sin duda repetiré.

Very lovely hostel with a great overall vibe. Cool chill area, outside (smoking) area and a nice big, modern kitchen. The beds are humongous but the doors were very squeaky and it was hard to sleep in. They should fix that, but other than that I was very content there.

Baños apenas suficientes, una gran estancia y servicio, limpieza regular, desayuno incluído. Algo lejos de bares pero llegas caminando. A todos lados es un sitio pequeño pero con mucha subida y bajada.

I loved breakfast in the morning. Great way to meet people and get insights into people's plans for the day. I also loved doing the walking tour with some people from my hostel. A great way to know the city and meet people. The room was mostly clean. The some of the bathrooms had this smell to it, so try to avoid those. I didn't like the beer they gave us, not a fan of super bock. I also didn't enjoy sleeping in the queen beds as a solo traveler because people were sharing beds all up in my room. No one did anything to sketch, but I wouldve rather had shared twin beds. But it was the only one they had so I took it.
