The food and service here is really good. We ordered the Nepali Momo and chilli chicken and both were good. We were served complimentary pappadams with chilli, yogurt, and sweet dipping sauces. We ordered the chilli chicken spicy and they made it spicy. The server and manager were very attentive and wanted to please us with the food. The portions were large and I was so stuffed by the end. Vegetarian entrees are about €8-9 and meat entrees are €10+

Riktigt bra indiskmat och som många påtalat tidigare; fler veganska alternativ. Servitören frågade hur starkt vi ville ha det och informerade bra om alla rätter. Restaurangen är relativt liten, så det är bra om man bokar ett bord. Vi hade inte bokat, så vi behövde vänta 45 minuter på att bli placerade.

Came to the restaraunt upon arriving in Lisbon. We had no reservation and the restaraunt was very busy. This didnt stop the staff from taking time to welcome us and find us a table. The service was probably the best I have ever recieved at any restaraunt. The food was unbelievably tasty and the restaraunt catered to everyone - vegetarians & vegans included. The price was exceedingly reasonable, we filled up on curry for two people and spent only 20 euro. Our experience was so amazing we went back another night, which is something alot of guests do in this restaraunt. I would recommend trying to book in advance as their reputation preceeds them and they can get busy.

Dined solo and received excellent service and outstanding food. Found this highly rated restaurant by accident and highly recommend to solo travelers or couples and family. Intimate setting. Also, waiter was familiar with low carb and gluten free so when I initially declined the "bread" he explained it was low glycemic which really impressed me. It was a chickpea bread. A+ from me!

This place was lovely! I'm no expert on Indian food but I know a good chana masala when I have one. I ordered from the vegan menu (THANK YOU for having one!!) And my food was delicious. The staff were so friendly and helpful. I plan to go back before my time in Lisbon is over. ♥️

Brilliant little find! Catered for us last minute even bought drinks to us whilst we waited outside to be seated! Service was second to none!! Very attentive and fast and provided great recommendations on both food and drinks.
Asked for extra spice and they sure delivered!

Being no strangers to a mouthwatering Nepalese cusine, oh how happy we were to find Sanskar Nepal after doing a thorough research on Google and TripAdvisor.
Even though we had to wait for about 20 min (I highly recommend making a reservation!) we were greeted in a timely manner by a friendly gentleman who did everything that he could to ensure we are happy with food and service.
The service is so welcoming and attentive here, and we are so grateful for it.The menu is extensive and has everything one might expect from a Himalayan restaurant. Our saag aloo and panneer were delicious, full of flavours and came out quite fast. Naan with garlic was served right out of an oven and melted in a mouth. The selection of wines and beers is impressive so be prepared to have a nice drink with Nepalese spices as they slowly warm you up from inside out.
We are in Lisbon for a couple of months and are making sure we come in once a week to savor mouthwatering dishes.

Got there right at opening time and they said all their tables were reserved - and with good reason. They simply asked us to be out by a certain time, and in exchange we got attentive (almost servile) service and delicious, affordable food, provided in healthy portions. They didn't charge us for extra rice, and they packed up the food that we didn't finish to go. It is already on the list of places to return to should we ever come back to Lisbon.

Ce restaurant est délicieux et je voudrais surtout vous parlé du personnel.
Je suis végétarienne et très allergique à l’ail. (Pas évident de trouver un plat à déguster)
L’ensemble des plats de la carte contenaient de l’ail alors le chef a cuisiné une sauce rien que pour nous et c’était délicieux.
Ils proposent des plats pour tous les goût avec un large choix de plat Vegan.
Je recommande ce restaurant à 2000% les yeux fermés et les remercie beaucoup pour leur gentillesse !

Pretty good authentic Indian food.
The service is great as well and the hosts are really friendly people.
We tried only a few things in the menu but they tasted great and we would gladly go back to this place again.

Un ristorantino minuscolo con arredi orientali molto ingenui.
Il cibo però è veramente ottimo.
Tutte le specialità indiane, più alcuni piatti tipici nepalesi.
Gestori e camerieri molto gentili.
Anche un piccolo antipasto e un dolce offerti ti fanno sentire coccolato

My partner and I visited Sanskar Nepal on our last night in Lisbon to try some different food. When we arrived, the restaurant was very full and as we were unable to make a reservation, we were told a table would be free in 25-30 minutes. We happily waited and were seated within the time frame. I would recommend making a reservation if you want to visit here, as a lot of people were turned away!
The staff were very polite and our food was delicious. Perfectly spiced, generous portion of rice and free poppadoms! The peshwari naan was a bit disappointing as it was quite dry. We enjoyed our meal until the end where unfortunately I have had to dock 2 stars.
The staff were unaware I understood the language they were communicating in and I overheard a staff member telling another colleague to hurry us up as there was people waiting. As we were ordering dessert, it was clear the host was watching us to try and usher us out as soon as he could. It made me incredibly uncomfortable and disappointed the night ended this way. I understand that we did not make a reservation, but we are still paying customers.
We were given a free mango lassi, they are shot glass sizes, alongside some toffees and traditional digestive snack. The host thanked us for being patient, but it felt slightly fake due to the conversation I overheard.

Meine Freundin und ich sind zufällig über das Restaurant gestolpert, da unsere eigentlichen Ziele bereits ausgebucht waren. Da wir beide indisches Essen lieben, sind wir bei Sanskar Nepal gelandet. Leider war der Laden bereits komplett voll und ausgebucht. Eine Reservierung kann ich also in jedem Fall empfehlen! Das freundliche Personal stellte uns eine Wartezeit von ca. 5 - 10min in Aussicht. Nach kurzer Wartezeit war dann tatsächlich ein Platz frei.
Wir hatten jeweils einen Mango Lassi, Freundin das Chicken Dal und ich Lamb Jalfrezi, dazu jeweils ein Garlic Naan. Das Essen wurde uns vom freundlichen Kellner nach ein paar Fragen und Wünschen unsererseits empfohlen und schmeckte hervorragend. Preislich ist das Restaurant ebenfalls ok, wir haben für alles zusammen mit Getränken noch dazu keine 40eur bezahlt. Günstiger jedenfalls, als in Deutschland/Hamburg. Zur Rechnung gab es nochmal einen Mango Lassi als Shot ;)
Vom Personal waren wir wirklich begeistert, freundlich, zuvorkommend, sogar die Tür wurde uns aufgehalten beim Gehen.
Wir werden dort sich wieder essen :)

This place was sooooo goooood!! We had the chicken korma with medium spice and it was perfect. So creamy and just the right amount of spice. We LOVED it. Hopefully we can go again before we leave Portugal!

Great tasty food accompanied by warm and attentive service. They accomodated us without a reservation on a rainy day, helped with our menu choice and served us a small compliment in the end which made a great finish to an already great dinner. Highly recommended!

Sehr gemütlicher und leckerer Inder/Nepalese!
Das Essen ist hervorragend gewürzt und die Kellner sind aufmerksam und lustig (2 sind eineiige Zwillinge - was zu lustigen Szenen geführt hat).
Menü auf Englisch vorhanden und Kellner sprechen ebenfalls gut Englisch. Diese Preise sind für das Viertel absolut in Ordnung (ca 10 € für eine Hauptspeise).
Wer also mal Lust hat auf was anderes als Fisch, Fleisch und Brot (portugiesische Küche) ist hier absolut richtig!!
Ebenfalls gute vegetarische/vegane Auswahl vorhanden.

Get there at 6:30 or make a reservation - the place is totally booked from 7 onwards! The staff is as friendly as it gets, they even gave us a bunch of stuff for free, and the food is amazing. The house wine, Palmela Tinto 2017, might be the best red I've had, and it's only 8.50 € for a bottle. We even got a second bottle to take home.

This was an absolute perfect experience. Without a reservation the very friendly waiters fitted us in in about 15 Minutes. There are different complimentary items which is an amazing touch and helped elevate our experience. The food was really on point and the service was another level as well. I can only recommend this place to everyone who loves indian food.

Delicious Indian/Nepalese food. The prices are awesome and the food is too. They have a whole vegan menu and they adapt their kitchen to vegan/vegetarian recipes everytime you ask them. More than 100% recommended, I frequently go there and I never regret it.

Camerieri super premurosi e cibo ottimo. A me la cucina nepalese non fa impazzire perchè troppo speziata, ma questo piatti erano davvero prelibati (soprattutto il pollo che stava fra i piatti raccomandati) e ci hanno chiesto il livello di piccantezza che desideravamo.

这家尼泊尔菜是在tripadviosr上看到的，全里斯本排名第四，可以说是在里斯本这几天吃到的最满意的一家餐厅，好吃不贵，一道菜大概十欧左右，按照人数一人一个就比较好，烤馕的奶香特别浓，店里的服务态度真是太好了，夸张点就是花大排档的钱享受米其林的服务，具体点菜方面，推荐辣虾和咖喱鸡肉，或者咖喱羊肉，米饭是免费送，吃完可以加，烤馕那三个都不错，饭后还会送芒果汁饮料，虽然小杯，但是真的为了这口芒果汁就值得来了，下面我会放菜单和账单，大家酌情参考。

Sehr gutes indisch/nepalesisches Essen. Wir hatten das Butter Chicken und Chicken Everest und waren sehr begeistert. Auf der Karte findet man neben indischen Gerichten auch Nepalesische wie zum Beispiel Momos. Der Service war sehr gut. Das Personal spricht auch fließend Englisch.

진짜 여태까지 먹어본 인도커리중에 최고에요! 본토 맛이랑 거의 똑같음 (인도에서 살았었음) 둘이서 버터치킨커리, 쉬림프머쉬룸커리, 믹스난, 망고라씨 시키고 26.4유로 나왔어요! 밥은 커리시키면 기본으로 주고 진짜 배터져요
그치만 진짜 대대대대대대대존맛!!!!!! 직원분들도 엄청 친절해요ㅜㅜ 서비스로 마지막엔 미니 망고라씨도 주네요

Its a wonderful place and simply exceed anyone's expectations. Had Malai kofta here and it was the best I have ever had. The staff is very generous and polite and helpful. Highly. Recommend this place for Indian/Nepalese food.

I cannot praise this place enough! The food is from heaven and the service is superb, probably the best service in Portugal, which is usually terrible by the way. As a vegetarian I managed to find many options in the menu and the care of the staff really stuck with us. I would not only recommend but insist that this is a must go while in Lisbon.

We felt like eating Indian food during our visit to Lisbon and were lucky enough to get a table at Sanskar Nepal. Although the restaurant was full, they did everything to organize a table for us and we waited less than 10 minutes for which they apologized numerous times. The service is extremely friendly, in fact, you are treated like family. The food is absolutely delicious and believe me, I only write reviews if truly deserved. In short, you cannot go wrong with Sankar Nepal, so do yourselves a favor and book a table today, you will not regret it!

Very very good indian food! The prices are low. The only negative thing is that the restaurant doesnt look so great.

포르투갈 9박 10일 여행동안 먹은 음식 중 여기가 최고였어요. 포르투에서 130유로짜리 스테이크도 먹어봤지만 진심 여기 카레가 짱입니다.
참고로 저는 향에 매우 취약하여 한국 거리의 흔한 케밥도 먹지 못하는 사람인데, 여기는 그런거 없이 막 흡입했어요. 포르투갈 와서 약간 기름지고 짜고 밍맹한 음식에 질렸다면 여기 정말 강추합니다.
커리는 보통 10~12유로 정도 하는것 같았고 밥 같이 나와요. 그리고 난 꼭 시켜드세요 mixed 난 시키면 너무 너무 고소한 향이 나는 핵존맛탱 난이 나와요
전 두번 시켜먹었어요. 맵기 조절이 가능한데 middle정도로 하면 맛있게맵게 물 안찾을 정도로 먹을 수 있어요. 같은 레스토랑이 한국에도 있다고 하는데 아시는 분 계시면 알려주세요.

We came without a reservation but were quickly seated to a table. The waiter was extremely polite. The place may not look like much but just close your eyes and savour the spices in the chicken tikka masala. The lamb dish was mind blowing, and I don't even like lamb that much: the meat was melting in our mouths!!!

Absolutely excellent service - as a budget traveler the best I've received in Europe so far. The complimentary poppadom at the start of the meal and small shot of mango lassi at the end were just small examples of how the staff care about their customers. The food was also amazing and as a vegan it was great to see a huge vegan menu (hard to find sometimes in this part of Europe!) The meal all together was under €15 for one person which included a main, rice, and Indian beer!

This place is delectable and the service is phenomenal! Our host and waiter, Dipesh, made our experience optimal. We came without reservations to a full house but he was able to accommodate us. The food was delicious, the fact that they have such an extensive vegan menu is a major plus and we can't wait to return to try some more items! Thank you for a great meal!

Very bad, slow and indifferent service. The two young men on duty for the four people in the restaurant were so busy with their telephones they had little time over for the customers. Starters were left to go cold. Used plates and dishes were left cluttering the table. Its not just about the food, they have learn to treat dining as a whole experience.

We liked this place so much that we returned twice in our short week stay! the food is great, and the soft-spoken, friendly service was even better. booking a table was hard, but they cam squeeze you in if you show up around 7pm for a short dinner.

En una de esas perdidas calles del Barrio Alto, Sanskar Nepal es una de esas joyas escondidas que cada vez escasean más. Conviene hacer reserva, pero si no tienes siempre se las apañan para que puedas comer. Sus exóticos platos están deliciosos y eso que la carta cuenta con 104 platos diferentes. Aunque el pequeño local hace pensar lo contrario, es un gran restaurante.

An easy 5 out of 5. The food was delicious and perfect for us vegan and vegitarians. Traditional indian cousine with great taste and well cooked fresh supplies. The wine recomended was also great and matched our food above expectations. The staff was very helpful and the service was amazing. We felt truly taken care off and another plus is that the food is cheep, especially becuse of the quality and quantity that was served. We will for sure come back as soon as we head back to Lissabon. Thank you so much for two perfect evenings, we could not have started and finished our vacation in a better way!

I have been vegan for some years and this place was perfect after a long day at Pena palace. They actually offer a vegan menu - not only vegan options - that I did not find online. There are starters, sides, main dishes and desserts. The atmosphere and service is great. For starters they offered complimentary papadom bread with spicy sauce and tamarind sauce, which was really good. It is safer, if possible, to make reservations. Highly reccomend this place!

Absolutely loved this place. Visited twice in a week. One of us is veggie and one vegan - excellent vegan menu. Staff excellent - food outstanding - great value. Make sure you book - people queuing out the door both times we visited. Can't wait to go back.

A mix of Indian and Nepalese dishes are on the menu. Tried mostly Nepalese food, which tasted great. Similar to the Indian dishes, but with a different set of spices. I recommend the Nepalese chicken balls with honey in the sauce. Very friendly staff, although the decor could get an upgrade. Liked the anice 'seeds' with the bill as a freshener.

We visited this restaurant based on online reviews and we were not disappointed. The service was the friendliest I’ve ever experienced, waiters telling us to ‘feel at home’ as we enjoyed our delicious dinner. We ordered 7 mains between 4 and that seemed about the right amount as they are not huge (although the waiters were surprised at the amount we ordered!) One of our group was vegan as was very excited to find an entire vegan menu she could choose from! Very good value, Can’t recommend highly enough

Мы с мужем были в Лиссабоне 5 дней. Изначально хотели опробовать португальские рестораны, но побывав в одном - на следующий день решили, что азиатская кухня нам ближе и начали искать ресторан.
Так мы нашли ресторан индийской кухни Sanskar Nepal. Т.к. я избалованная персона и любитель красивых заведений, внешний вид ресторана меня немного смутил...НО! Главное - начинка, а не обертка!
Еда нам понравилась на столько, что мы решили прийти сюда и на следующей день. Все 4 дня мы кушали здесь. В Sanskar Nepal большой выбор блюд и все очень очень вкусно. Персонал - очень милые и отзывчивые ребята. Очень рекомендую всем этот замечательный ресторан: вкусная еда/ приятные цены и отличное обслуживание. Обязательно придем сюда еще в следующий раз:)

We found this super nice, small restaurant and liked it só much, we went back the next day. It is not a luxurious restaurant, but that just makes it nice. Gostamos imenso dos pratos que escolhemos pois normalmente são os nossos eleitos quando visitamos outros restaurantes da mesma cozinha e desta forma podemos apreciar as diferenças e neste caso estão de parabéns pois os sabores estavam divinas.

This place lived up to all its other reviews! Great food and great service. We had the mango lamb and chicken curry. Both were amazing. Especially the lamb, it was cooked so well. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The prices were also very reasonable. Will definitely go again.

We ordered thali but as shown on the pictures outside of the restaurant it comes with roti but when I ordered nepali thali it comes without any roti and I asked one of staff members and he said you have to eat with papad.. who eat curry with only papad..It was so annoying and feels cheated also had vegeterain momos that was so hard and chewy..
A bad choice for vegetarian and plus food is so much expensive.

Super goed gegeten hier! De gastheren zijn erg attent en vriendelijk. De gerechten zijn zeer goed en lekker bereid. Je geeft zelf aan hoe pittig de gerechten gemaakt moeten worden. Een klein restaurant met een gezellige intieme sfeer. Zeker een aanrader. Wel reserveren van te voren, gezien de beperkte hoeveelheid tafels.

La entrada no hace justicia pero una vez dentro todo cambia , el trato es súper agradable , además te ofrecen gratuitamente unas pitas con salsa , nos recomendaron excelentemente así que recondemamos probar "Everest Chicken" y Tikki Malaka y un pan especiado (Garlic) tremendo no se qué de los tres platos estaba mejor. Además cuando vas a pagar te ofrecen gratis un chupito de mango. Para rematar el dueño nos abrió la puerta. RECOMENDADO

My warmest recommendations for Sanskar Nepal!!!
Food: possibly the best I've had. Both the medium spicy chicken curry and vegan tikka masala were absolutely divine and completely worth the ~11.5 euros each, including rice. I've had similar dishes at many other restaurants, some of which were more expensive but still not nearly as good.
Service: we received a warm greeting upon arrival. Although we arrived just before closing time, they welcomed us to eat. They were very attentive and politely gave us several suggestions based on my partner's dietary requirements (gluten-free and vegan). We were served complimentary crackers and they made sure we were satisfied with the food. I am sure that they would have done everything they could if the food didn't meet our expectations.

Wow! This was delicious! I have been in Asia a lot, and to be honest it was hard to find the same flavours in Europe but these guys made it perfect! Amazing food, service and atmosphere. The best vegan selection I have ever seen, you can order chicken tikka masala vegan, vegan cheese naan and even as a compliment you get vegan mango lassi. How awesome is it? We are definitely going back to lisbon for this food.

This wasn't our intended destination for the evening as we'd planned to go elsewhere. However, plans change and they managed to just squeeze us in provided we were turned in an hour which was absolutely fine. We hadn't booked so that might be advisable.
The service was good and the food excellent, just what we'd hoped for when entering.
It is a very small place and you may get shoehorned in a corner etc but in our opinion it's worth it.

Wonderful dedicated vegan menu here. We are spoilt for choice in London for vegan restaurants, but it is so refreshing going abroad and seeing that restaurants here are catering properly for different diets now. Honestly my fiancé will not stop going on about this place! Really was a fab start to our weekend away in Lisbon. The garlic naan was all crispy just like dairy vegan naan. Their ‘chicken’ tikka masala is also amazing!

Dos melhores nepaleses/indianos em que já fui. O local é muito pequeno, convém fazer reserva. Para vegans é um paraíso, tem o melhor naan de queijo (vegan) que alguma vez comi. Aliás, estava com amigos que pediram o naan de queijo normal e disseram que o vegan era muito mais saboroso! Os empregados foram muito simpáticos connosco, ajudaram com todas as dúvidas apesar de não falarem bem português. A regressar sem dúvida!

Hilarious. We called the place at 18 and we were told that the place is fully booked. They asked whether we could come at 18:30, only then they would be able to serve us. Once we arrived at 18:30 there was no one. During the 1.5h that we were there restaurant filled with people without a reservation. Only one table of 4 had a reservation. There were no other reservations.

Very very good place! I came here one night and it was very busy, there were 2 groups waiting outside already in front of me so I decided to come back the next day.
I can see why people would wait to eat here.
The food is absolutely delicious, finger-licking good! I had a little starter of vegetable samosa and a onion pakora and they did not disappoint. I was also offered a number of dips and sauces to try ranging from mild to spicy, all of them had a great taste. The main was shrimps with jalfreze sauce, served with rice and a side of garlic naan bread. 10/10! The portions are hearty and I couldn't even finish my main.
The service is very pleasant, both of the young men who worked there were very polite and attentive.
The prices are very good too. I will definitely be coming back and also highly recommend Sanskar Nepal, they have a fantastic range for veggies and vegans too.

Knapp an 5 Sternen vorbei: Essen war top und auch die Bedienung sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit (da ich keine Tomaten oder Spinat essen kann, haben sie extra ein Gericht für mich gekocht). Die Atmosphäre war leider nicht sehr optimal, da das Restaurant nicht sehr gross ist und so wenig Platz ist. Zudem mussten wir ziemlich lange auf das Essen warten. Während wir assen, mussten sie immer wieder Leute abweisen, weil es zu wenig Platz hatte. Eine Reservierung macht darum absolut Sinn! Denn wie gesagt; das Essen war erste Sahne!

Hoy hemos comido mi pareja y yo. Hemos pedido el pollo tika massala y un plato con gambas. Nos han regalado el arroz para acompañar y nos han dicho que si queríamos más nos lo podrían. Además le hemos dicho que queríamos pan y nos ha dicho que también nos ponía un poco de pan con unas salsas gratis. Todos muy amables y atentos y sobretodo muy muy rico todo lo que hemos comido. Mir ist etwas unklar, wieso das Restaurant so überdurchschnittlich gute Bewertungen bekommt. Der Service war zwar wirklich nett und freundlich, aber ich habe andernorts schon wesentlich besser indisch gegessen.(Wir hatten drei Gerichte, davon würde ich vor allem Saag Paneer empfehlen, aber auch kein Muss.) Außerdem sitzt man drinnen recht beengt und draußen ist derzeit gar nichts möglich.

Super, vooral voor vega's. Volgens Happy Cow is dit het beste restaurant van Lissabon en daar waren wij het helemaal mee eens! Achterin de menukaart staat een hele pagina voor vegan gerechten. De bediening hielp ons een keuze te maken en het eten was heerlijk. Het team werkt goed samen en zijn allemaal begaan met hun gasten. Ze zorgen er echt voor dat je een leuk etentje uit hebt. Het is aan te raden van te voren te reserveren, maar wij hebben een half uurtje moeten wachten - ook nog wel te overzien. :-)

I'm a big fan of Indian food so I checked this place out for lunch. We tried getting into this place for dinner on a couple occasions but they are always booked at least 2 days out. The menu is actually pretty big and all our favorite Indian and Nepalese dishes were on offer. I started with the Nepalese bottle of beer and found it very light and refreshing. Great on a hot summer day. It was my very first Nepalese beer ever so I took a picture. I'm not a big fan of pilseners or hop forward ales so I was glad it was lighter than the Sangres beer that was also on offer. The chicken Tikka masala was delicious although it tasted more like butter chicken to me and my wife. The curry lamb was extraordinary. The best in my life. Both of the dishes were ordered at medium spice and I think it was perfect. It was exactly what I expected a medium heat dish would taste. Although it may have been a bit spicy for most people in Portugal or for people who aren't used to spicy food. Overall I think this is probably the best Indian / Nepalese restaurant in the area. I think that trip advisor had this restaurant listed as one of the top overall restaurants in Lisbon. I think that is a little ridiculous considering all the great local Portuguese food in the area including several Michelin star rated restaurants. But if you are a vegan or obsessed with Indian food, I would check this place out

What an amazing place, the food was amazing and the service went the extra mile to make you have a great experience. We went with two and both ordered the vegan chicken tikka massala. It was so good and we heard from the guys that they are the first place in Lisbon and maybe the world to serve it! Definitely give it a try, you will not be disappointed! The atmosphere is cozy and the menu is extensive. They serve rice with their dishes and the naan breads (we got garlic naan) are delicious. At the end of our meal, we got the bill which was accompanied by a little mango lassi, both normal or vegan are available, ending the night with a sweet finish. Unreal experience and we had a good time chatting to the guys afterwards. They are a great team and made the experience that much better. Check it out!

A very friendly staff, and didn't realise that two of the staff were identical twins. Have to say the food was of high quality and very generous portions. Alas it's our last night in Lisbon, but will definitely go again when back again to Lisbon.

Comida saborosa e acessível. Ambiente com decoração a melhorar. O Saag Prawn ou Camarão com espinafres é fabuloso, tem um molho que nunca encontrei em nenhum outro indiano ou nepalês. Funcionários simpáticos, mas falam melhor inglês, do que português.
Só não recomendo o café.

Un sitio con una atención muy amable y atenta. La comida es muy buena. Pedimos medio picante que para nosotros era bastante picante, pero aún asi muy rica. Fuimos sin reserva, pero se preocuparon mucho en buscarnos un sitio. Conviene reservar, porque es un restaurante pequeño. Muy recomendable todo.

We found Sanskar Nepal on trip advisor as it was one of the best rated restaurants in Lisbon. After a call we made a reservation for 2 days later (we called Saturday afternoon and they were fully reserved until monday, so I recommend calling a few days before). So come monday we went and had a fabulous Indian/Nepalese meal. Priced very reasonably (+/- 10 euros for a curry including rice, and about 2/3 euros for a Naan bread and 2 euros for a Beer).
Everything made inhouse and very fresh. Staff are very friendly, decor is basic but has caracter. The owner, Shiva, is a very passionate man and truly values the customers experience. Big thumbs up for this place!

Brilliant Indian/Nepalese restaurant. First came here 2 months ago and loved it so we booked again for last week and the staff even remembered us! Very welcoming and advised us on the different meals. Will be back again in September.

Made a reservation here after seeing positive reviews online. Food was nice; we had chicken balti, lamb balti and garlic naan. Rice is included. Portion sizes are fine. However it was no different to Indian food we can get in normal Indian restaurants back home in the UK. My rating is 4/5 as they do throw in a few nice freebies (poppadums with dip for starter, mango lassi with the bill). Service was good; staff were polite and helpful. Price was OK of both food and drinks. It's nice they offer vegan options!

This is the best Indian restaurant I have ever been to! Was just looking for a taste of home when on vacation in Lisbon and this place did not disappoint. The staff was incredibly helpful and sweet and did their best to make us feel taken care of and at home! Also, complimentary mango lassi shots were a real crowd pleaser. If I'm ever back in Lisbon, definitely will be back!

The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. We arrived late at night by 11:15 and they were closed normally (they have changed the closing hours) but when we asked the waiter if there were closed because on internet we saw that they were open until 11.30, he checked on internet and as it was true he invite us to come in and seat to eat. It was a very kind from him to let us come in.
The service was amazing and without any rush because of the hour.
The vegan menu is delicious and they have many options in this menu, I tried my first Vegan Cheese Naan and it was delicious! also the vegan chicken tikka masala was amazing and the prices are very good.
I will come back for sure and hope you will open one restaurant in France :D !

Reviews did not disappoint. Even without a reservation they made space for us and were very accomodating. They are inexpensive and the food was delicious. If you are lookong for an indian in Lisboa, definitley go here!

It was very delicious.I had chicken curry, Garlick Nan, and two beers, and they cost 16 euros. It's very cheap and nice.The staff is kind, too.I was alone. If you go more than two, you can order only one nan. Rice is free when you order curry.

We went because it was quoted as the best Indian food restaurant in Lisbon. I haven't been to all the Indian restaurants in Lisbon so I don't know if it is the best in the city but I do know that the food was delicious. And the staff was extremely friendly. It's not a big restaurant so you might have to wait for a table if you don't go early but it's worth the wait.

We went here Soley based upon good reviews. But were disappointed in customer service and attention to detail.
The waiter started to take our order then stopped half way to attend to other customers. Completely forgetting about us.
Afterwards he quickly took our order and completely missed one of our dishes and we waited for our dish to arrive while our food got cold.
Lastly they do not take MasterCard or Visa. Only Portuguese credit cards..
We were not made aware of this, luckily we had cash. Food wasn't bad. But I'd go somewhere else if I'm going to pay close to 40 euros to wait for an hour for our food to arrive.

친절.맛.양. 모든 걸 다 갖췄습니다! 카레 주문하면 밥 나오는 지 모르고 치즈난도 주문을 하는 바람에.. 여자 혼자서 라씨+맥주+새우카레+밥(거의2인분)+치즈난. 이렇게 먹고 배터질뻔했어요. 남겼더니 고맙게도 포장 원하냐고 묻더라구요. 후식으로 신기한 아니스(?)란 것도 주고 뭔지 설명도 해주셨어요.
제가 가본 홍대나 강남 인도 맛집보다 가격도 착하고 authentic해요.

I have been here twice in the last two days, and both times were fantastic. We ordered chicken koorma and chicken curry, as well as a vegetable lentil soup. I've had many cities and koormas in many places, though never before Nepalese, and All three of these were exquisite, unique variations on such old standbys. Furthermore, the Basmati rice was the most perfectly made, delicate, not dry or gummy. The waiters were patient and kind, very helpful. The whole experience was one of the best I've ever had in a restaurant anywhere at any price - and the prices are quite low

Leute wenn ihr die Nepalesische oder indische küche mögt, müsst ihr dieses Restaurant dringend auf eure to-do liste in Lissabon stellen, das Restaurant ist ein bißchen unscheinbar , sobald man drinnen ist wird man dafür sehr positiv überrascht, das Personal ist sehr nett und kümmern sich um dich und natürlich um das leckere Essen:) !Vorspeise und Hauptspeise , hat wahnsinnig gut geschmeckt , von der Rechnung waren wir sehr überrascht , weil es einfach für das was es gegeben hat , sehr günstig war und noch zum schluß einen leckeren Mango Lassi , kann ich jeden mit 5*weiter empfehlen

I have been in Lisbon only for two days, and because I am not a fan of fishes I decided to look for something special. This restaurant is so far one of the bests I have ever been - everything is just perfect - waiters are so nice and helpful and food is sooo tasty. You also get starter and small cute desert. It is also relatively cheap, for 9 euro you can get dish and a tea. Will come back there for sure :)

I love Indian food and I was impressed with the amount of vegan options. There is a separate menu so enjoy! The vegan cheese naan was really good and my friend couldn’t believe it was vegan cheese. The vegan chicken masala was good as well although it could have been spicier. Service was great but it’s best to have reservations. We got super lucky! They even made me a special vegan mango lassi. Love it!

This little restaurant seems a bit unimpressive from the outside. But that doesn't hold true for the meals they provide inside.
You'll get delicious traditional food at competitive prices.
The staff is very friendly and they might even be up to a nice chat.
I was very pleased with my dinner at Sanskar Nepal!
Don't judge the restaurant by its front facade, but by its inner values. ;)

So much hospitality and eagerness, they showed us every vegan ingredient and made sure we feel comfortable that they are confident in their vegan cooking. Their vegan menu is even on the first page.
Indeed I've never had vegan chicken outside my home kitchen and their vegan chicken marsala was very delicious. They also use vegan cheese, which I still think about a week later, because it was so yummy. Like most Indian themed restaurants the food was flavorful and delicious, rice will be served if you need more you can get more.
This is a good place for vegans, vegetarians and omnivores alike.

Very attentative staff, good english - one of the dudes lived in Peterborough for a while. Starter arrived almost immediately but we had quite a wait for the main, this wouldn't normally be a problem for us but we were really really tired from travelling. However, worth the wait - the food is top notch, extremely reasonably priced - you won't find better in Lisbon. We'll be back next time we're in town. Thank you!

This Restaurant must be listed in the Things to do in Lisbon. The food was just AMAZING and the service as well. If you like spicy food I would reccomend the Chilli Chicken and the Masala both were absolutely delicious and made to our taste on spice. We regularly have lunch or dinner here. The service is always friendly and the food delicious. Portions are perfect and prices very reasonable. If you like your Asian food really spicey, ask for hot or very spicey, otherwise it might be too mild for you.
