Um bife do lombo de tão pequeno que até me ri de tão ridículo que foi. Empregados simpáticos salvaram a noite!
Caro proprietário, agradeço a sua explicação.O meu comentário visa apenas ser uma critica construtiva no sentido de melhorarem e não perderem clientes . Um ticket médio de 40 euros merece um bife um pouco maior !

Muy bonito y muy concurrido. Tuvimos que esperar un poco, no teníamos reserva, pero nos tomamos algo en la barra y nos sentaron al poco tiempo. El personal muy amable, cada vez que pasaban nos informaban de lo que nos quedaba para ser sentados. La comida espectacular, sobre todo la carne, es agua, yo no suelo pedir carne y mi marido la pidió y me encantó. El ceviche también muy rico y muy fresco. Sin duda repetiría.

Betuchte Engländer gehen gern dorthin, leider preislich überzogen und daher im Preis Leistungsgefüge nicht stimmig. Steak sehr klein, zwar gut und nach Wunsch gebraten, aber geschmacklich (auch Fritten mit Schale) nicht überzeugend. Piri Piri Hähnchen trocken und nicht zu empfehlen.

Very good quality food in here, we were a party of 14 and the staff here were excellent and looking after us all. Delicious food I would not hesitate to revisit this restaurant.

Recently modernised it's really nice, & the food is as good as we remembered. Unfortunately the refurbishment means it's lost that original charm which was one of the most attractive aspects. Still a place to visit though.

We went on Saturday for dinner and was awful, we will never go back to the place.
From outside the restaurant looks like really beautiful and high quality but once you get inside the things completly change.
When we arrived the girl in the reception treated us really good and took us to our table with a smile. After that moment everything went wrong: We wait for around 10 minutes to get the menu, then took like another 10 minutes to the waitress to come to take the order, while taking the order the waitress asked about how cooked we wanted the meat although we asked for medium rare meat, she decided to ordered medium. Then we had to wait for more than 40 minutes until we could get the attention of one of the waitress because we didn't have our dishes yet, after that, one waiter took the food to us, it was cold and the meet well done instead medium rare or even medium.
Nobody apologized and we left with our high expectations too low to come back.

Ok food but overpriced. A 33cl light cola has the same price as a 20cl normal one. Service was slow and needed constant reminders of what was missing. Dessert was ordered at the same time of the coffees so it would come together. However, coffees were served with the cutlery for the dessert but 10 minutes after there was still no dessert, so we drank the coffee and never got the dessert because they were still "plating" it. For this value, I would go somewhere else.

Hi, I went to Don’s after reading all the great reviews on here, but was very disappointed! Don’t get me wrong, the place was beautiful and so were the staff but we found the food to be over priced and mediocre! I ordered a prime fillet steak, it was very small and tasted like it was cooked on a dirty pan. It was burnt on the outside and they had thrown sea salt all over it. It came with a small basket of thin chips that mostly consisted of potato skins. My wife ordered a lasagna which came out swimming in cheese and looked like someone threw up on her plate. She only ate a small bit of it as it was disgusting. We decided to skip dessert and get the bill. For two starters, two mains a glass of wine and a coke it was €84.

Excellent! Hight quality food, and price correct for the quality and especially with what we can see on the Marina. Good wines.

The was the best place we ate whilst visiting Vilamoura. It's definitely a pricey option - we paid €95 for two but I'd say it's worth a try. The quality of the food was really high and the staff were fantastic hosts. The menu ranges from steaks, fish and tapas. Recommended!

One of my favourite places to eat in Vilamoura. Services is really good and the food is simply amazing. Steaks are cooked to perfection. House red is very nice too. If you have room for dessert you cannot go wrong with the Almond Tart. Gets busy, so get there early or book.

Nice food, average prices, menu pretty much the same as every other restaurant in the marina. The service was fast when taking order and bringing food but no body checked on us during the meal and we actually waited longer to get servers attention to ask for the bill than we had to wait for our food! Also felt like the objective was to get as many people into the space as possible the setting was cramped and tables were squashed on top of each other my companion sat first and then we had to push the table into her so as I could sit down and to leave I had to pull the table to me so she could get out and then push it back so I could get out ( both our seats were hitting the people at the tables behind us). The family at the table beside us could not get out either and the waiter had to lift their pushchair over another couple's table (while they were trying to eat) while they squeezed between 2 tables on tip toes to try make themselves fit without knocking the other diners or their food!! Maybe at a quieter time of day the experience would be 4 or 5 stars but based on my experience I'd rate it 3.5 stars out of 5.

Absolutely love this restaurant. Probably the best restaurant in Villamoura. Steaks are beautiful and cooked to perfection. All starters were top class. Service is great with experienced staff who are really well up on their allergens. Last but not least, the wine is fantastic. Always a treat. 5 star place. Really really recommended. You won't be disappointed.

The establishment offers a good variety of steak based dishes that are prepared in a lavish manner. Food is also structured in a pleasing way on the plate, board, marble, etc. The pricing is quite high, and I don't think it should be as high as it is, but aside from that, the restaurant is worth a try. (My Lava cake was also unfortunately not oozing like it should :( )

very slow service, the food was average at best, they brought the wrong food out... waste of money.
Edited for response to owner: I have the bill for €125 and we left after 11PM. When I ordered I told the waitress that I had a dairy allergy and specified no butter, cream, cheese, etc. She brought the plate with a giant slab of butter on it. I said I can't eat this, she asked if she could just remove the butter and I said no I have an allergy as I told you. All of our plates were removed and the orders that were correct were brought back cold when the steak was remade.
Perhaps your staff did not tell you. Then they would not have also told you that they dumped a bucket of water on two women sat beside us and gave them one napkin to share to dry themselves and their belongings. They seemed pretty upset to me. I promise they did not leave happy.
Going forward, I recommend you should speak with reviewers who have a bad experience to learn about their experience. That will demonstrate to future visitors that you care about your customers and continual improvement.

This is one of those rare restaurants where everything is perfect. The filet steak was superb, cooked to perfection and tasted sublime. The leg of lamb was probably the best I've ever tasted. The wine selection was excellent, a real touch of Portuguese class. In addition to the outstanding food, the service was a beautiful combination of attentive yet discrete.

Food is good. Restaurant is fresh and modern. Prices are expensive for Portugal but in line with the competition at the marina. Service is terribly slow and disjointed. Ruined what could have been a great meal.
