While on holiday we visited based on some else's recommendation and we enjoyed our meals and service so much that we returned a second time.

What an experience.. This is high class dining. Service was very fast and even let us taste the wine and she re filled our glasses. Housewine red is very tasty by the way. Did a 3 course meal and the food was absolutely great. However for Portugese prices it isn't the cheapest. We paid €75 for two including a 3 course and a bottle of wine and water. If you come to Luz this is probably a must see restaurant though.

Super Service. Etwas gehobeneres Lokal. Englisch wird hier fliesend gesprochen. Das Essen ist außergewöhnlich lecker. Die Steaks sind wie bestellt, englisch oder Medium - der Geschmack erinnert an geräuchertes Fleisch gegrillt auf Holzkohle. Einfach super!
Der Fisch war auch sehr fein - serviert mit Kürbis und Spinat mein absolutes Highlight

Great service, the manager shakes everyone’s hand and tells you about the menu. Rest of the staff is also very helpful and very polite. The food is presented delicate. Only draw backs are that the manager basically recommended the whole menu, which left no wiser as its a big menu. I ate ostrich kebab which was presented great, but it was a bit dry. All in all a good experience.

One of the best steak I had in my entire life. (and there have been many around the world).
And the girlfriend's goat cheese salad was also delicious. When you're in Luz, go here! Highly recommended!

Amazing food!! Never had steak like it, it was so tender with a delicious chargrilled taste, followed by the traditional African milky custard dessert, will visit again next time we are in Luz

Very good food and service. Nice atmosphere. Two complaints. It trades under a different name with Dolphin in small print. We walked past first time. Second, the waiter did not advise us of dishes not available until we were ready to order.

Have been here a week now and so far (having eaten somewhere different every night) this is only one of two restaurants we plan to visit again. Quality and value are both very good with friendly staff. The only downside is trying to get booked in as it is very popular.

Gutes Essen in einem gehobenen Restaurant mit dementsprechend hohen Preisen. Service nach meinem empfinden schon etwas zu zuvorkommend. Unterm Strich ein empfehlenswertes Restaurant mit frischen und selbstgemachten Speisen.

Really good restaurant. I had lamb chops with a mustard crust and potatos with melted onions. Just really delicious and the meat was perfectly medium cooked. They had also tasty lemon slushy jar. I highly recommend this restaurant. But maybe you should make a reservation. It is good booked.

Ristorante accogliente con personale gentile e disponibile. Piatti principalmente a base di carne, cucinato in maniera particolare e con sapori nuovi. Giusto rapporto qualità/prezzo. Lo consiglio anche se non proprio tipico del posto.

Great little place for good South African food. The owners are friendly and so are the staff that work there. All in all a good experience. Would definitely recommend it if you are looking for a taste of south Africa cuisine.

Dolphin restaurant Luz.
Disappointed after many previous visits. The food served was ok not to a standard our group of six would recommend. One of the annoying issues was service by waiter, he was to quick asking for drinks order and the food order. Please slow down and will be appreciated by customers that will return this creates a relaxing atmosphere were the customer can enjoy the cuisine.

Een heel leuk restaurant. Heel vriendelijke en rustige bediening met prima eten. Ik had de vegetarische boboti en het was echt heerlijk. Mijn vrouw had de 'normale' boboti en was ook enthousiast. Ook nog een prima Zuidafrikaanse wijn erbij. En alles voor een prima prijs. Voor ons echt een vijf sterren plek. Gaan er zeker nog een keer terug.

This is the best restaurant in Luz and my personal favourite anywhere. Don't got me wrong there are great places to eat in Luz, but the Dolphin tops them all. Food, service, atmosphere, everything is outstanding.
It's a must visit, at least once maybe twice, every time we go to Luz.

Me and my girlfriend had there a great evening ! I order a steak and my girlfriend ordered amazing vegetarian meal.
Also the starter were great .

Ordered soup and both were barely edible - staff were super great and took them off our bill. Staff also ensured we were comfortable for the rest of the night. Although service was great, the food wasn't overly impressive and seemed a bit forced particularly given the beautiful, simple surroundings.

Lovely restaurant, situated centrally in town. Excellent quality and choice of food. Staff very attentative, with the customers and very proficient with their service. Good choice of wines, South African or Portuguise.

Das Essen ist hervorragend und das Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Eigentlich sollte man hier noch einen Stern extra geben für das wirklich super gute Essen !! Aber man sollte vorher reservieren , ist fast immer voll. Oder man bringt Zeit mit.

Great food and service at this restaurant. Not as cheap as some of the others in Praia da Luz. But its definetly worth it. The food is quality, and is delicious. All l of our party of 4 had delcious starters mains and desert. Couldnt fault it on anything. Keep up the good work.

Unvorstellbar, dass es bei Google Local noch keine Bewertungen gibt. Bei "Trip" sind es schon 600.
Wir habrn Fisch und Steak bestellt. Beide Gerichte waren Bombe. Der Laden kommt unscheinbar daher, fast zum dran vorbei laufen. Service ist sehr freundlich und die Speisenqualität sehr sehr gut.
Mein 200g Fillet Steak wurde "gegrillt" und hatte dadurch eine ganz besondere Note.
Wer gut essen gehen möchte, muss dort gewesen sein.
