The food was perfect. I had grilled salmon with vegetables and potateos and my husband had sirloin stake at the advice of the waiter. Evertyhing was delicious. We also enjoyed our drinks, beer and cider which were great as it was a hot day. The waiter who served us was very friendly and helped us with our food choice. In conclusion I higly recommend this place:)

Joli resto ou l'on a bien mangé dans le quartier d'alfama

Il est vrai que le serveur était assez « spécial »... pour autant, nous avons très bien mangé! Je vous recommande le saumon grillé qui était un pur délice.

Bonne table avec des plats typiques gâché par un accueil plus que déplorable de la part des serveurs indiens. A noter que lors du paiement on nous a dit que le service n etait pas compris, après vérification il s' agissait d une escroquerie. Ce restaurant ne mérite pas de être connu!

No lo recomiendo con la de sitios buenos que hay en Lisboa. El pulpo que pedí no estaba fresco y me revolvió el estómago toda la tarde. La chuleta de ternera blanca de mi pareja normal, nada espectacular. Caro para lo que es. La atención bastante rancia. Los dos platos, dos bebidas y un postre compartido: 40 €.

Highlight of our Lisbon trip so far. The service is outstanding, very quirky waiter who encouraged me to try things from the menu I wouldn't have normally chosen, but oh my, the salmon was phenomenal!

La parte negativa ha sido que iban a cerrar pronto (sin avisar) y durante toda la cena nos estuvieron mirando atentamente y metiendo prisa para que termináramos. Uno de los camareros de malos modos nos dijo que estaban esperando por nosotras cuando no habíamos ni pasado una hora en el local. La comida sabrosa y el precio muy razonable

불친절 하다는 이야기가 많아서 가기 망설였는데 저 갔을땐 모든게 만족스러웠어요. 오히려 관광객 상대하는 주변 식당과는 다른 현지 식당으로 훨씬 청결하고 그날 일 하는 인원이 커버 못할만큼 손님이 더 오면 자리 있어도 대기 시키더라구요. 음식도 미각 충격... 샹그리아 한병, 샐러드, 문어, 해물밥 시켰는데 가격은 46유로 나왔어요. 마지막날 또 갈까 하다가 일정이 꼬여서 못간게 아쉬울 정도. 추천드려요.

Versteckt in der Alfama. Zum Glück. Sonst wäre diese nette familiär geführte Kneipe überlaufen. Das Essen ist toll und günstig. Der Sangria mit 3 Euro für einen halben Liter spottbillig.

Da evitare!!! Abbiamo ordinato un antipasto di formaggi e uno di gamberi. Il primo piatto insignificante, il secondo con gamberi duri e annegati nel limone per coprire che erano un bel po’ passati. Per secondo abbiamo ordinato il polpo alla griglia ... rimasto nel piatto dopo il primo boccone. Stracotto ... quindi quale griglia??? e coperto d’aglio . Altro che pesce fresco!!! Mai mangiato così male!!!

Avrei dato molto di più in quanto il cibo è veramente buono e abbondante a prezzi nella norma (salmone con contorno a 10€).
Peccato per il servizio: i due camerieri non ci hanno calcolato per 20 minuti, finché è dovuta venire la ragazza (forse la proprietaria) a chiedereci scusa e a servirci.
Il locale era affollato ma non troppo, semplicemente i due ragazzi si fermavamo a scherzare con i clienti.
Ps non si può pagare col bancomat.

Si mangia non male, niente di ché. Prezzo nella norma. Pecca non da poco, non accetta carte di credito con la scusa che non funziona. Se non hai contante su "offrono" di accompagnarti al bancomat più vicino.

The food was good. We had sirloin steak. Side dishes could be more. The waiter thought he was cool and made uncomfortable jokes about me and my wife. We think he tried to flirt or something... It was weird.

The sirloin Steak with porto wine was really good. The sidedishes could be a little bit more. Our waiter was a little bit too intrusive. He talked the hole time with me and ignored my husband. He made unpleasant jokes about our relationship and was flirting in an odd way with me. Too friendly, too intimate, scary.

Very bad service.
This is the cod that was thrown on our table by the shockingly poor waitress (daughter of the owner) after we commented that we didn't like it (it was flavourless and rubbery). Unfortunately it descended from there, with the waitress jabbing at me with her finger, and the owner speaking in a very unpleasant way.
The two Indian waiters were fantastic, really good guys - it's such a shame. The sardines were great, and the salmon was tasty also. It could have been a great meal, but the service from one waitress and the owners was the worst I've ever experienced. Avoid.

Avoid at all costs! Bacalhao was disgusting (chewy and flavorless) and management was just as despicable. I have never before turned to people entering and warned them not to eat there. This was one of the worst dining experiences I've had.

Un ristorante carino dove si mangia abbastanza bene.( Sempre questioni di gusti ) Ho mangiato il polipo alla griglia, era molto buono sia come cottura che come gusto. Sono rimasta delusa per il risotto gamberi e vongole. A vederlo era molto invitante , ben presentato. Mangiarlo troppo cotto e senza sale e molto brodoso . Cmq il resto andava bene. Ottimo servizio.

Bad experience. We were seated with the TV half a meter above us in an almost empty restaurant. TV was silent, but we spent the whole time feeling that the two waiters were staring right at us. Of course they were really watching the TV, but when two people are a few meters away from you staring intensly half a meter above, you can´t really relax and enjoy yourself .. Food was ok and the place was nice otherwise.

Really good food and service! Except that the restaurant was not very busy when we visited; the staff kept watching TV that was right above us, and it was like they were staring at us all the time. Despite of that, I would recommend this tasty and friendly restaurant and I hope they will move the TV to somewhere it doesn't bother the customers :)

Conseillé par le routard, nous avons tenté l’expérience et bien sans regrets, beau restaurant ( la deco est sympa ) cuisine très bonne, nous avons pris le riz au poisson et le poulpe entier, de vrais régals. Comptez entre 15 et 20€ tête pour un plat et une boisson voire un verre de vin.
Un des serveurs peut paraître spécial et assez speed mais est de bons conseils.

non male il servizio e le pietanze. Niente di eccezionale però; io ho cenato con una zuppa di riso (tipo basati ma troppo scotto) e pesce misto (suff), mentre mio marito polpo grigliato con purea di patate. I vini che ci hanno consigliati erano buoni.
Abbiamo trovato di meglio....conto comunque in linea.

Waren abends dort, schönes Ambiente, Personal freundlich, Restaurant war voll, haben den letzen freien Tisch im Außenbereich gekriegt, die beiden Bedienungen haben ihren Job einwandfrei gemacht, Essen und Getränke kamen relativ schnell und alles war gut (Fisch und Octopus), Preise sind angemessen. Würden wieder dort hin gehen.

Très bon restaurant
Nous avons mangé dans ce restaurant. Les plats étaient copieux et très bien présentés.
Les serveurs nous ont très bien accueillis malgré l'arrivée de tardive (10min avant la fermeture de la cuisine).
Ils étaient souriants et sympathiques.
Concernant les plats : Le poulpe était bon et tendre et le magret bon et cuit Comme il le fallait.
Une belle découverte dans le quartier d'Alfama.

Prétentieux
Ça aurait pû être une bonne soirée mais elle a été gâchée par le service, nous avons été mal accueillis, le serveur (celui typé Indien) qui s'est occupé de nous et de nos voisins italiens ,nous a littéralement jeté les menus après nous avoir installé. Tout le service s'est fait dans la même ambiance , on m'a débarrassé mon plat alors que j'avais encore la bouche pleine...

Bref pour parler des plats,
salade de poulpe et salade de morue avec des pois chiches sans grand intérêt mais copieux.
En plats, la morue paga et les seiches étaient bonnes et les assiettes bien garnies (encore que les seiches, à défaut d'être goûteuses, était très caoutchouteuses)
Nos voisins ont boudés leur desserts en n'en mangeant pas la moitié alors vu l'empressement du serveur à nous débarrasser nous sommes partis sans demander notre reste.

문어밥, 비프, 맥주, 오렌지주스 먹었는데 31유로 나왔음. 맛은 그냥 쏘쏘. 후기대로 웨이터들이 그닥 친절하진 않으나 어떻게 보면 친절한거 같기도하고 (여자는)....밖에 자리가 없다고 그래서 안에 앉았는데 밖에 좀 구경하려고 나가려고 하니까 경계하듯이 어디가냐고 그래서 인종차별 이구나 싶고 잔돈도 굳이 센트로 주더라요 갖은 죄송한척 연기하면서ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ 지도 인도인이면서 (남자애) 왜 그러나 몰라ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋHi Indian

Amazing seafood in a small courtyard hideout away from the rush street. Grilled squid and octopus splashed by local wine while having friendly chat with the staff. Perfect lunch time spent with my wife.

This is one of the most excellent restaurants I have ever experienced. You will know the high quality of this restaurant from outside and from the menu display. It is a gorgeous restaurant with a warm decor located in a typical quaint alley in the Alfama district. The food is glorious and the service is very efficient and courteous. I have tried the steak cooked in Porto wine and it is one of the most delicious dishes I have ever tasted. This restaurant deserves six stars!

Très belle découverte ! Contrairement à ce que certains avis prétendent, les serveurs sont très professionnels et sympathiques. La nourriture excellente, le saumon était un pur délice. Le restaurant se situe dans une petite rue, loin de tous les attrapes touristes de la ville. En revanche, il est nécessaire de réserver à l’avance pour pouvoir avoir une place.

문 여는시간에 맞춰 왔는데 오래 안기다리고 음식이 나왔어요 생각보다 자리도 넉넉하고 직원들도 친절하고 음식도 보기에는 양이 적지만 실제로 먹으니 배부르네요 잘먹고갑니다 다만 문어구이는 먹을때 탄부분이 꼭 모래처럼 중간중간 씹히는데 예민하신분들은 좀 싫으실수도 있어요 그래도 추천ㅎㅎㅎㅎ!

This restaurant is AMAZING. Such an underrated little gem in Alfama run by the most amazing family. Marta's mother's recipe's are cooked here and her father is the man on the grill, cooking the most perfect seafood. They have an amazing knowledge of wine and only serve wines that they themselves love and drink. You cannot miss this place when you visit Lisbon - make sure you get a dish with their migas in it, WOW!

Terrible customer service. I wouldn't recommend this place, unless you want to be treated with zero respect. Riccy (the one with glasses on) was our server. The whole dinner felt like a rush because of him. He had our starters and mains coming to our table together at the same time (didn't ask. He decided for us) trying to take our plates away when we were still eating (we paused to talk), and immediately after taking our plates away, a bill was thrown to the table (thrown, not put). Maybe they were really busy and had to rush us out. Even if that was the restaurant's philosophy, I believe that he could have done it with a bit of respect and maybe apologize when we pointed the above out. Food was all on the table at 20:40 (we took a picture of the food so we know), we were out at around 21:20, so it's not like we were taking the table for too long? There are many other restaurants nearby with good reviews. Given that the food here is average, I really don't see the point of picking this one over the others.
P.S. We asked to speak to the manager but apparently they were not on duty (Sunday night, so busy that they needed to throw us out, but no managers. Not sure if they are lying or what). Instead, another waiter that looks like his friend came to talk to us. But nothing was acknowledged. All his friend did was to beg us not to leave a review online. So here you go.
Oh, and Riccy dropped some food on my friend's dress as well when he was rushing to serve us. This could have happened to any waiter / waitress but thought this would give future potential customers an idea of how rush this place is like. Best of luck if you choose this place.

Paseando por Alfama hemos encontrado este sitio por casualidad y la verdad que ha sido todo un acierto. El menú ha sido bacalao, pulpo a la plancha y salmón. Todo con un vino verde recomendado por el camarero que estaba muy bueno. Unas croquetas de apertivo y 2 postres. Todo ha sido 67€. Un precio muy razonable y la calidad y presentación de los platos es magnífica, el que escribe que es de buen comer, acabas bien completo. Destacar la labor de los camareros.... Super simpáticos, amables y nos han servido para echarnos unas risas. Ya al final de la cena, te piden el móvil para hacerte unas fotos, ellos te colocan, te hacen sonreír, etc.... En definitiva, un buen sitio para cenar y echarte unas risas (aunque todo depende de lo receptivo que tú seas)

El camarero es un impertinente, y no me extraña nada que el local esté vacío, desagradable experiencia. Anteponone su voluntad a los deseos del cliente. Estando vacio le tuvimos que repetir 3 veces que nos queriamos cambiar de mesa donde hacia más fresquito y no queria. A la hora de pedir las bebidas nos insistia en elegir la comida y despues las bebidas, cuando si llegas con sed lo primero que deseas es beber algo. En definitiva genera un ambiente de tension y desagradable. Nos tomamos las cervezas que pedimos y nos fuimos.

Ristorante curato e abbastanza formale (popolato di turisti), in piena Alfama con prezzi medi e cucina tipica portoghese molto buona (porzioni medie).
Per antipasto abbiamo preso polpette di baccalà molto buone e olive, con pane di mais davvero ottimo.. Come piatti principali un baccalà “grigliato” ottimo con le patate e delle sardine grigliate, anche quelle molto buone. Da bere una bottiglia di vino bianco riserva del Douro, davvero ottimo (a 15 euro).
Tutto a 44 euro (22 a testa), per cui visto il vino in bottiglia, un prezzo più che onesto vista anche la qualità.
Se non cerchi posti popolari, è un ristorante molto buono, più che altro per turisti ma di qualità più che buona e con un contesto rilassante (meglio stare all’interno, che è pure climatizzato).

Siamo partiti con due spuntini olive e formaggio locale cosi da ingannare l`attesa tutto molto buono , ne e`valsa la pena aspettare qualche minuto in piu`perche`i piatti ce ci hanno portato erano veramente un qualcosa di eccezionale sia per la qualita` ,il pesce era freschissimo e si poteva vedere prima che l`hanno cucinato che per il gusto !consigliatissimo !!

Hervorragender Lachs zu einem Top-Preis! Günstige und sehr leckere Vorspeisen (wir hatten die Oliven und den Käse).
Hier geht es eindeutig um qualitativ hochwertiges Essen, weniger um eine "hippe" Atmosphäre. Die Bedienung war zuvorkommend und freundlich. Volle Empfehlung. Achtung: das Restaurant war bereits wenige Minuten nach Öffnung voll besetzt. Ggf. sollte also reserviert werden.

De lekkerste zalm die ik ooit gegeten heb. Koteletten waren ook lekker. Octopus was lekker, maar je moet er van houden. Vispannetje met pasta was lekker maar eentonig.

È un posto ottimo per mangiare, i prezzi sono molto convenienti, e al contrario di molti posti del quartiere Alfama, il ristorante è pulito con cucina a vista, e personale con cuffia di protezione.

Restaurant calme et chaleureux , le service est personnalisé et attentif .la cuisine est variée , raffinée , les plats sont copieux . Bonne variété de vin portugais. Les prix sont tout à fait honnête . Une très bonne surprise .

Attrape touriste. Morue très (trop) salée pour cacher le côté fade du plat.
Viande ( agneau ) très nerveuse.

Los arroces ( de pulpo y de gambas con almejas) dosis y más bien pasados, casi una hora de espera. Uno de los camareros no nos entendía ni en español, ni en portugués, ni en inglés. Ha tenido q venir otro. El precio no estaba mal

Fantástico: buen trato, buen ambiente y buenísima comida. Las sardinas especialmente están de muerte! Mi marido aún está buscando unas parecidas en todo restaurante que vamos.
Los camareros son un amor, simpatia pura. Muy muy recomendable.
Abren hasta las 00h, y los precios son aceptables, más económico que muchos de los restaurantes que lo rodean, y con comida de muchísima mejor calidad.

Un petit restaurant au coeur de l'Alfama. Une charmante terrasse pour déjeuner ou diner dehors. Un accueil agréable par des serveurs qui seront à votre écoute (anglais et français) Des plats préparés avec des produits frais, au fur et à mesure (donc un peu d'attente mais quand on est en vacances !) Des plats traditionnels, simples et bons.Des prix corrects comparés à d'autres restaurants de ce quartier très touristique.

Da evitare il riso con vongole e gamberi perché il tempo di cottura troppo lungo ha reso il riso scotto, le vongole al sapore di plastica e i gamberi passabili.

12유로 문어요리 먹었는데 상당히 괜찮습니다. 같이 먹은 잔 와인도 훌륭했고.. 다만 팁을 의식안하고 잔돈을 기다렸더니 뒤늦게 2유로를 다양한 동전 20여개의 구성으로 받았습니다. 동전지갑도 함께 배불리 만족한 식사였습니다.

Worth the wait ! Outdoor seating at the rear. Family run with the parents in the kitchen and the children running the tables. The octopus was the best I had in all of Lisbon.

C'est simple, bon. Le personnel est charmant et à l'écoute. La cuisine est portugaise et familiale. Les prix sont très corrects. Que dire de plus si ce n'est de tester par vous-mêmes. Dernière chose, la terrasse est très agréable et plus ou moins 10 tables, mais comme partout où il fait beau... pensez à réserver. Bonne dégustation

Abbiamo mangiato in questo posto la prima sera che siamo arrivati ed oggi siamo ritornati. Rispetto agli altri ristoranti che abbiamo provato, qui abbiamo trovato qualitá e cortesia.
Se passeremo da Lisbona in futuro sará in cima alle nostre scelte.

Hervorragender Fisch (Traumhafter Oktopus!!!) zu absolut moderaten Preisen! Die Weinauswahl ist beachtlich und man sollte sich durchaus auf die Empfehlung des Personals verlassen! Die Gerichte sind überaus großzügig, so dass eine Vorspeise auch mal locker für 2 reicht. Das Interieur ist angenehm kühl und kitschfrei aber nicht langweilig! Definitiv eine gute Wahl in der Alfama!

Ich war nur mittelmäßig begeistert. Die Vorspeise, der Iberico Schinken, war super (wobei ich ihn selber dünner schneiden würde).
Das Fleisch der Hauptspeisen Karte war ebenfalls gut. Der Reis mit Fisch, Garnelen und Muscheln waren okay, aber nicht mehr. Die Masse war der wässrig und überzeugte einfach nicht.
Die Bedienung empfand ich als schwach. Auf die Frage nach Empfehlung für Essen wie auch weiße Weine kam mehr oder weniger die gleiche Antwort, indem sie auf die jeweilige Stelle in der Karte zeigte, wo es besagte Liste gab. Wir entschieden uns daher für die offenen Weine, die eher fad als mild bezeichnet werden müssen. Ansonsten war die Bedienung schon nahezu von einschläfernden Begeisterung von ihrem Job. Unfreundlich war sie aber nicht.

We thought this looked like a slightly above average touristy restaurant, but didn't have time to look for another place so ate there. The food turned out to be amazing! Fresh products, inventive cuisine, this was a great surprise! Highly recommend it.

Un lugar con verdadera comida lisboeta. Altamente recomendable por platos como arroz con pulpo, bacalao, sardinas o salmón a la plancha entre otros. En pleno barrio de Alfama y a un precio razonable, entre 20-25 euros.

Éramos 4 para jantar. Pedimos, entre outras cousas, uma dose de batatas fritas, que estava na ementa. E perguntámos se era possível trazer 2 ovos estrelados com as mesmas. A empregada, simpática, disse que tinha de confirmar na cozinha se era possível. Veio mais tarde dizer que não: "Infelizmente, como não está na carta, não é possível". Continuámos a jantar e nada tenho a dizer de mal sobre a comida: despretensiosa e bem confeccionada. Quando pedimos a conta ao empregado, em tom de brincadeira, dissemos: "Traga cá a sua cozinheira para nós lhe dizermos que é fácil satisfazer um pedido simples de um Cliente. É apenas uma questão de boa-vontade. Afinal, são eles que fazem a casa". O mesmo argumentou que são as regras do estabelecimento. Perguntámos "Mas se eu pedir um ovo com um bife, fazem". Resposta: "Isso sim, Mas batatas fritas já são um acompanhamento" (?!). O que se sucedeu a seguir, não tem descrição possível. Desde ter usado expressões como "As regras do restaurante, do qual sou o proprietário, são estas. E quem quer, come; quem não gosta, não vem" e "vocês são os únicos portugueses que, até agora, fizeram um pedido de ovos com as batatas fritas". Pasme-se a estranheza do pedido...! Nunca vi nem vivi tamanha desconsideração por um Cliente. E este é o serviço que oferecemos aos estrangeiros. Dá Deus nozes a quem não tem dentes... A não voltar, nem mesmo passar perto! É que restaurantes há muitos, e com vontade de bem servir.
