Un très bon restaurants lors de notre séjour à Lisbonne.
Le resto est petit mais la décoration est soignée, c’est un endroit charmant.
Nous nous sommes régalés pour un budget raisonnable.
Le menu est en portugais mais le serveur vous le traduira.

Great food, fabulous service and cozy atmosphere. These guys know how to make your visit memorable with their warmth and humor!
I live in Lisbon and take all my guests here when they’re visiting.
Try the lombo, iscas (liver), bifana and their desserts are all amazing especially if you’re lucky enough to find the stewed Apple on the menu. The chocolate walnut cake is amazing too.

Um espaço bem tipico, pequeno, mas arranjado e limpo, com um serviço excelente, sempre atentos aos clientes. Comidinha bem confecionada, de forma caseira, com uma bela grelha. É um daqueles restaurantes, onde nos sentimos em casa. Ambiente cosmopolita, onde se escuta diferentes linguas, mas o sorriso é sempre denominador comum.

Meget god restaurant. Prima råvarer og kokk som kan grille fisk. Uformelt sted med en noe original service som man bør ta med godt humør. Ingenting å klage på. Ser at en del kaller dette en turistfelle, noe som virker uforståelig da de serverer utmerket mat, og det er heller ikke noe merkverdig i at de beste rettene er de dyreste. Det er helt i orden at kelnere anbefaler det beste. Og prisene står uansett på menyen.

Small and very crowded but you get to speak to other diners. The waitor ignored us when we first walked in. All he would tell us about the menu written in Portuguese was some were fish, others were meat.He was very off hand.
We guessed and had grilled fish which was delicious. The vegetables were a bit ordinary. We didn',t go back and found a friendlier and more helpful restaurant.

Fresh fish, great service, and delicious wines. This place serves up traditional Portuguese fare in a warm and intimate environment. Ingredients are healthy and there was very little (if any) salt or seasoning on the dishes we ordered. Very clean, simple meal. Would definitely go back, especially when I'm feeling tired of how much salt other restaurants use.

Great sea food at a good price. Ask for red or white house wine. Restaurant has 2 entrances, upstairs entrance is just a small space but cozy. Menu is in Portuguese but was able to read with help of waiter and Google translate.

Klein, heimisch, einfach, sehr lokal und original. Gegrillter Fisch (Dorade und Sardine) ist mega lecker, einfach und reduziert, Arroz de Peixe ebenfalls sehr empfehlenswert, weil aromatisch und lecker! Tolle Oliven, lecker Olivenöl! Service ist unaufdringlich und sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit!! Und der Vino Verde ist der Hit, 12€ pro Flasche! Insgesamt ein sehr authentisches und einfaches Restaurant für hungrige Bäuche, die original portugiesisch essen möchten!!!!

Uma tasca Lisboeta, e boa, com toda a certeza. Atendimento 5* e bom aconselhamento de pratos. Mesmo os pratos que parecem mais dispendiosos, são bem servidos e muito saborosos. Da minha parte deliciei-me com carapaus fritos com arroz de tomate que me fizeram lembar a comida que a minha avó preparava com tanto carinho. O meu acompanhante optou pelo bife cuja carne estava tenrinha e bem acompanhada. Para terminar dividimos uma tarte de chocolate que nos recomendaram e que realmente é uma delícia só. Vamos voltar.

Super! Super! Super! The place, the food, the waitress, the location, the tastes, the traditional and home feeling, the kindness, helpfulness, and the food again :D. We just ended up there by walking for a glass of wine, but we recommend with love. Try during your Lisbon time :)

Really great. A surprise recommendation by the hotel. Looks nothing from the outside, inside it’s a joy. Eat the fish, listen to the guys who tell you which wine to drink. Decor is a bit mad, the staff too. But they’re good, the food is good, the restaurant is great. Go visit.

Atendimento péssimo! Garçom força os pratos mais caros... NAO COMAM O SALMONETE... Não vale nem metade do valor que cobram! Pega turista... Garçom ficou enrolando mais de 20min para trazer a nota e não trouxe as entradas que pedimos... Ficamos realmente chateados com o lugar e com o atendimento. Tem outros restaurantes melhores em Lisboa! Não percam tempo e dinheiro nesse!

Simplesmente o pior serviço que tive em Portugal. O Garçon muito esperto querendo forçar qualquer coisa para nós e para outros clientes. Pedi as entradas e ele simplesmente "esqueceu" e quando perguntei o que tinha acontecido, se ainda seria servido as entradas ele me disse que havia cancelado porque o prato principal era "muita comida". E no final, pedi a conta para poder pagar e ir embora e eles me fizeram esperar mais de 20min e só foram calcular quando eu levantei ja sem paciência e fui em direção a cozinha. NÃO RECOMENDO.

Auf empfehlung sind wir in dieses kleine, typisch portugiesisches restaurant. Und wir wurden nicht enttäuscht. Unbestellt gab es vorab brot, Oliven, käse und in teig ausgebackene bohnen. War aber alles sehr lecker. Auch unsere hauptgerichte und der wein waren lecker und viel.

Typical Portuguese restaurant. The best sirloin steak I've ever eaten in my life. Excellent wine and very friendly service. It can be seen that they enjoy their job. Prices are lower than in downtown.
As an appetizer I recommend petinga frita / fried petinga / and as the main food definitely Bife to Lombo c / pimenta preta / sirloin steak with black pepper /
must come soon - no reservations - waiting a long time for a table

Piatti tipici portoghesi di buon livello, prezzi accettabilissimi. Cameriere un po' teatrale e sbrigativo verso fine cena perché doveva liberare i tavoli, noi eravamo in 15 e ci siamo presentati alle 19 per cenare, un po' di relax poteva consentirlo!

Accueil particulier pour les touristes: c’est à peine si on vous parle, sauf au moment de la commande (carte non traduite en anglais) où on vous « conseille » les plats et boissons les plus chers. Plats passables mais les services nous a frustré et nous n’avons pas apprécié ce repas du tout.
Et attention à la note, les erreurs arrivent également fréquemment pour les touristes!

Maravilloso. Ambiente de tasca con servicio y atención excelentes. Platos contundentes y deliciosos (pedimos bistec con huevo, bacalao y calamares). Salimos a 20 euros/pax con vino (Albariño) petiscos (aperitivos que te ponen directamente, pero que puedes rechazar sin problemas) y postres (baba de camelo y crema de mango). Delicioso.
Ojo, zona de marcha y salidas en la que es prácticamente imposible estacionar y cuando lo haces, hay que poner tiquet hasta la una de la mañana

Restaurante acogedor, típico portugués, la carne excepcional y el plato de queso que te ponen como entrante (aunque no lo pidas) está muy bueno. El precio ronda los 20€/persona pero ponen gran cantidad en los platos, si no tienes mucha hambre puedes compartirlo entre dos. Muy recomendable

Еда вкусная, но есть много но.
1. Вам, как туристу, рекомендуют только дорогие блюда.
2. Вам приносят пока вы ожидаете ваш заказ - хлеб, печеньки, сыр, оливки, но за это после снимают за сыр 4,25 +0.75, 0.75, 0.75
3. После вам снова пихают какие-то бобы в тесте и снова вам + 4.20 (мне они вообще не зашли)
4. Если вас двое, вас скорее посадят при входе, там только один столик на двоих. При этом чуть дальше вход на второй этаж и туалет и запах оттуда так себе. Как по мне, сам ресторан, если его можно так назвать, немного обшарпан, иногда немного пахнет непонятным запахом. В общем, если не придираться, то норм. Больше меня задел развод на деньги, а не их плитка.
5. Мы оплачивали карточкой и сказали снять ему на чаевые определенную сумму, он же снял чуть больше. Опять нас имеют. Не зря у этого официанта золотые цепи висят, не зря. Но в тоже время, обслуживал он хорошо, хотя и навязчиво. Много раз подходил и тд и тп.
6. В общем еда зашла, все остальное - нет.
Если собираетесь идти - заказывайте смело первые блюда в меню, отказывайтесь от "угощений" и будет вам счастье. А так, как минимум 15 мы могли сэкономить. Поэтому осадочек от заведения.
Чего не скажешь о лучших piri piri chicken в Frangasqueira nacional (маленькое крутое заведение и вкуснейшая курочка)!

Great place. I didn't see a lot of tourists there, mostly locals. So it wasn't my impression that food was delicious, it is really apressiated by the locals too. Affordable price, tasty Portuguese cuisine, nice interior. That's all I need.

The food was good, house wine was not but... The waiter was annoying. No menu in English and he recommends only the most expensive dishes, but this was also no bad. He brought us at the beginning some olives, bread and cheese. we didn't ask( it costed 4.25+0.75+0.75) then he brought us some green beens fried pane. He just brought it to us, I said we don't really want it, but he left it there. I thought that ok, if it's from their side, but it also costed 4.25. Some other things were in bill that we didn't order and he cheated us with tips. So... Place not bad, but prepare to pay 10-15€ for smth you don't like and you don't order.
Plus there is a strange smell inside.

Service was very friendly and helpful. We asked for a few Portugese meat and fish dishes we could all share and they recommended a nice selection (and not the most expensive ones on the menu, as you might expect). The meat and the fish were excellent and the sides tasty as well. Spent about 12-15/eu on a main which is fair for what you get.

Appena tornata in uno dei ristoranti preferiti durante l'anno di studio a Lisbona, quasi 25 anni fa. E ogni volta che torno a Lisbona, Tascardoso è un must.
Il locale è piccolo ma molto accogliente, ottima la cucina e il prezzo allineato con i prezzi medi della città.
La passeggiata dall'Elevador da Gloria anticipa o conclude un ottimo pranzo o una romantica cena. Il giardino di Principe Real, con il suo albero grandioso...
Da non perdere!

Leider habe ich hier sehr schlechte Erfahrungen gemacht. Aufgrund der überwiegend guten Bewertungen und der Empfehlung vom Hostel habe ich hier auf gutes portugiesisches Essen gehofft. Leider schmeckte das Essen labbrig, lauwarm und wie aufgewärmt. Als Beilage zum Fisch kam verkochtes Gemüse, ebenfalls nur Lauwarm und schlechter als aus der Mensa. Wirklich nicht weiterzuempfehlen. So schlecht habe ich noch nie gegessen.

Nos encanto este restaurancito pequeñito, de gente simpática..aunque todas las mesitas están muy cerca. Pero es encantador. Eso si todo lo que te ponen en la mesa luego te lo cobran.. Al llegar había queso y aceitunas en la mesa y luego estaba en la cuenta (nosotros no sabíamos) pero supongo q puedes devolverlo si deseas, aunq el queso estaba riquísimo. Buena comida!

Great ambiance! Delicious food and very reasonably priced. We had to wait about 15 minutes outside and the waiter came outside and poured some Porto for us to drink while waiting. The sardines were awesome!

Average price 10€. They broughti us bread and olives, cheese plate..without asking. I figured they were charging for them so I ordered light. I was right. They were on the bill.Technically, the waiter is supposed to ask you if you want the couvert or not but, even though this rule has been in place for several years, most just put the bread on the table without saying anything. In fairness to the waiters, most people in Portugal do want the couvert and, if they don't want it they just say.o .

Das erste Mal in meinem Leben das ich einem Reiseführertipp gefolgt UND genossen habe!
Ein kleines, unkompliziertes Lokal, reduziert auf vielleicht 20 Gerichte, die dafür wirklich wohlschmeckend (lecker = lecken = *rsch).
Wir hatten Sardinen, Hühnchen, Brot, eine Flasche Wein & 2 Gläser Port - rund € 30,- w das zu teuer ist soll sich beim Supermarkt ein Wurstbrot holen.
„Unser“ Kellner spricht 7 Sprachen - portugiesisch, spanisch, französisch & emglisch, die anderen 3 blieb er schuldig!
Anyway, für uns in den 5 Tagen hier in Lissabon mit Abstand das beste Restaurant.

Excellent repas de poissons et viande. Bon accueil en français et très avenant. La salle est petite et le menu est en portugais, mais vous pouvez demander une explication de texte
Pour notre repas c'etait une grande salade partagée à 4, puis 3 plats de poissons grillés (turbo, macro et petit espadon accompagné de légumes : carottes, pommes de terre et choux fleur) et 1 plat d'une viande de bœuf (avec frites et épinard). Le pain est bon, le vin blanc maison est plus que correcte.
Nous avons refusé "l'apéritif" servi dès notre installation à table.
Nous n'avons pas testé le café et le dessert, car nous avions planifié, avant le repas, de les prendre ailleurs, donc sans relation avec la qualité perçue du repas.
Côté tarif incluant 1 petite bouteille d'eau plate et 2 verres de vin blanc = 63€
Bref, aucune raison de supprimer une étoile, nous étions tous satisfaits

Un vrai restaurant portugais comme on les aime, des plats simples et authentiques sans chichi. Le personnel est adorable et parle plusieurs langues. Goûtez au poulpe ou à la morue grillée. Délicieux.

Nous avons dégusté essentiellement du poisson Frit. Simple mais excellent.
L'accueil est cordial
Nous y sommes retourné à trois reprises pendant notre séjour de 4 jours.
Je conseille particulièrement les sardines grillées.
Et aussi la sangria présentée comme la meilleure du monde! ( Effectivement excellente)
Venir de bonne heure sinon il faut attendre sur le trottoir pour que des places se libèrent.
Je recommande vivement.

Esperienza pessima. Attenzione!
Il cameriere porta alcuni piatti che seppure non richiesti e di poco prezzo poi ve li ritrovate sul conto.
I prezzi sono comunque più alti rispetto alla madia della zona e così anche il cibo risulta peggiore rispetto alla media.
Finito di mangiare vi verra portato il conto anche se non lo avete chiesto.

Tourist trap indeed! I even think the positive reviews are fake. My wife and I went July 9, 2019 for lunch. A very grumpy waiter that serviced us has the art perfected to treat you bad and steal from at the same time. He gave us one menu that has a price and another to prove that you are wrong when you’re paying. It seems that it’s cultural here to place bread and olives on the table but they charge for it. In a touristy area it should always be clear. The guy charged me for olives I didn’t order and for every piece of bread that was in the dish. Very shady and dishonest. Something that should have been 8€ at most ended up being 25€ which leaves me with a bad impression of Portugal. It’s not the money, it’s the action.

Food is really good but there is an old worker who is always angry and makes you fell bad if you ask for weekday lunch menu , so if yo are a tourist be careful with his treatment, he does not speak any work in English, and the following days I are he was angry with me!!

Excellent petit restaurant familial avec un super rapport qualité-prix (par rapport aux autres restaurants du quartier). Grillades et poissons variés sont au menu et en quantité généreuse. Un peu attrape touristes... En arrivant, on vous pose sur la table des petites olives, un fromage portugais et du pain. Seul les olives sont offertes, sans qu’on vous le dise. Certains clients n’ont pas le droit au fromage sur la table, donc ça sent l’arnaque à touriste à plein nez. Apparement, c’est une règle au Portugal.
La carte n’est pas très grande (pas un mauvais point) et pas traduite. Les plats sont simples et très peu cuisinés. Nous avons pris un steak de thon et de la morue, ils sont arrivés seuls dans l’assiette, accompagné à côté de quelques légumes cuits à la vapeur (2 brocolis, 2 morceaux de carottes et 2 petites pommes de terre).
Avec ça, on vous sert une salade de tomate, elle sera facturée. Si non consommée, elle est mise sous film alimentaire et remise au frigo. TRÈS BIZARRE.
Au delà de ça, les poissons étaient bons.. Mais bon, ils n’ont eu qu’à les cuire...
Le serveur que nous avons eu n’était pas très agréable, un peu comme l’ambiance du restaurant.
Heureusement que les prix sont abordables.
Il y a tellement de bons petits restos à Lisbonne que je ne saurais vous recommander celui ci.

Would give -5 stars if possible. Absolutely rude, racist waiter, who constantly mumbles something in Portuguese instead of trying to converse with you in English or Spanish. On top of everything, he forces dishes on you and makes you pay for them. Would absolutely NOT RECOMMEND. Worst experience in Lisbon so far. Go to near-by place Lostin instead.

Food is mediocre at best and the service was not good. The waiter seemed to be very unhappy about us not being portuguese and refused to even try to communicate in any other language (we tried our best in portuguese and also tried spanish; only replied in portuguese and didnt bother at all) . He told us to order one dish per person although we only wanted to share one, claimed it was ok because the dishes are small (which they arent). So we ended up with two mediocre dishes, one of which we didnt even want/need.
Rip-off,maybe a better experience if you are a local, but I doubt it.

Family business.
The “not free” starter move it’s not only for tourists, but definitely too much stuff.
You basically never know what is included or what not (the steam vegetables? The tomato salad?).
Desert are cheap and tasty.
We spent around 40 Euros for 2 domain of fish, olives, bread, a tomato and onion salad, 2 small side of steam vegetables, 2 desert, a jug of White wine (too watery in my taste).
In the end,
Try something else if you can. Nothing special.

Restaurante muy pequeño pero con platos muy grandes y economicos. Sabrosisimos. Un lugar muy conocido en la zona, con comidas tipicas, ambiente familiar. Las mesas estan muy cerca unas de otras y terminas comiendo pegado a alguien que no conoces, creo que es algo que a la mayoria nos gusta, es como compartir la mesa con gente desconocida pero en un ambiente relajado. Muy recomendable.

This is the first restaurant in Lisboa we ate at, and we were so disappointed that I almost rated it with 1 stat. However, since it was first, I decided to try a few others before rating this one. In all honesty, if i were to compare it to other restaurants in all countries I've been to, i would give it 1 star, but, compared to other such restaurants in Lisabon it deserves at least 3. Ok, so this is why:
Bad:
- as soon as we sat, the waiter dropped 3 expensive appetizers ( which we didn't order) on our table in order to trick us to think it was free (we later realized that this is common practice in Lisabon toward all tourists).
- after we placed an order of a simple dish ( grilled mackerells + veggies) we had to wait well over an hour to finally get our fish, at no point did the waiter come to appologize for the wait nor offered any explanation for the wait. ( note, it's a very small restaurant with maybe max 15 customers ).
- the fish was overdone on the outside (almost burnt) and completelly raw (bloody) in the middle.
- the owner crammed 8 tables into a space that should be 4-5 tables max ( yes, it can be charming to knock elbows with other customers, but not if the waitors have to squeeze between chairs, nudging you every time they pass)
- appetizers are more expensive than the main dishes
Good:
- they didn't make a fuss about us rejecting one of the appetizers
- the main dish prices are ok
- the house wine is cheap and fantastic
- the appetizers we accepted were very tasty.
Total:
It's an average Lisboan restaurant, probably great for the locals but crappy for tourists.

Io lo consiglio, tutto ciò che abbiamo ordinato (pesce) era buono, atmosfera molto informale. Gli antipasti ci sono arrivati random appena seduti, ed erano molto gustosi; ci hanno portato olive , pomodori ciliegini, noci , e una delle ricotte più buone che abbia mai assaggiato. Locale molto rustico e alla mano , personale veloce nel servizio , buona qualità del cibo , e prezzi da trattoria.

Whilst you get decent portions and it is reasonably priced (food and drink) the quality isn't up to much. My friend ordered the salmon but was given sea bass, when he notified the waiter he seemed to shrug his shoulders and raise his hands to say that's what you are getting sorry, muttered something in Portuguese then off he went. You get boiled/steamed veg with your meal but it isn't anything special. Very basic.

Arrived at the place with my friend. We didnt imediatly order, since we were in the middle of the conversation. The waiter started to get annoyed. He constantly came back to the table, in couple of minutes interval. Eventually we order salad and Beer. He ask what more, and I reply that for now it was that. He says that it cant be done and we wouldnt be served in there. Tl;dr: if you start your dinner with Beer and salad, thats not your place.

One of the worst experiences in lisbon. We ordered steak and the meat was horrible smelling as if rotten, when we told this to the waiter,he told us it is not(he even didn't try) and brought us another steak, same horrible smell, we left hungry,annoyed and hoping we didn't get food poisoning when we tried our steaks.horrible food and service, very rude waiter. Never again.

Service was okay, but meat quality quite bad.
Appetizers were brought to us by the waiter telling us to try them. Thinking they were offered to us, we ate them. Not knowing they would be charged to us. Everything put on the table is billed, if you do not want to be billed tell the waiter to take it back.
Very affordable for quantities but not a trust worthy restaurant!

Posto piccolo, un po rustico ma molto suggestivo...il personale è simpaticissimo... ti portano all'inizio delle cose sfiziose come benvenuto (avevamo formaggio, pomodorini e noci col miele) e dei fagiolini fritti. Nous avions réservé une table pour deux, et quand nous sommes arrivés le serveur a privilégié un groupe de 6 personnes. Une fois servi, le bacalhau et les sardines commandés étaient énormément salés et en plus de ça sans goût! Tout baignait dans l'huile d'olive. À éviter si vous ne supportez pas le bruit. Pour le bien de vos papilles et de vos oreilles, passez votre chemin!!!!

Pescado fresco. Cocina portuguesa tradicional. Muy pequeño y agobiante. Me sentaron en una mesa entre un grupo de cuatro y una pareja de mujeres y apenas había sitio para comer. One of the absolute worst dining experiences in recent memory. The food was cold and burned; the server was sexist and refused to rectify the issues that were brought to his attention. He also tried to overbill us... I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Terrible experience. Rude and unprofessional waiter. They have tables outside in D. Pedro V sidewalk that are just "for people to see we are open" - as we were told by the waiter that "you can sit, but I won't be able to serve you because I am too busy!". We were two, and before this answer he told us to wait for a while as he had people waiting on the other entrance, which was not true.... hopeless. I will not return.

Small, cosy, authentic Portuguese place. Food simple, homemade-like but tasty and prices good. They put appetizers on your table (common in Portugal in general), just know that you will be charged for these if you eat from them. We had a fish, potato, pepper stew - delicious! Can highly recommend if you're looking for authentic Portuguese and appreciate homemade food.

Not as good as hoped - not very friendly and charged us for nibbles forced upon us. Waiter wasn't very welcoming - kept the entrance locked?! Very helpful with explaining the menu though. Calmari was delicious - freshly fried, melt in the mouth. Beans were soggy and cold - came out so quickly, guessing they'd been sitting out. Tuna was so salty it was inedible, though this may be a cultural thing - just tasted like boiled ham, not the fresh light fish I was expecting. Side veg were soggy and overcooked. Overall pretty good value though - 2 courses and bottle of wine for two about 40 euro. However, something we'd been warned about in Lisbon, we were charged for a plate of nibbles which were forced upon us. Because of this, I decided not to tip, but the waiter skirted around collecting the tip bowl until I reluctantly threw some change in. Overall not a worthwhile experience

For €15 per person you get a bottle of wine, some cheese and olives and tempura vegetables, and two solid main dishes. Stick to the fish. Super fresh, amazing. Had the sardines and mackerel. Both fresh off the grill. The accoutrements are boiled potatoes and overcooked broccoli...bleh, but whatever. Romantic spot, local flare.

Proper authentic Portuguese restaurant with as much locals eating there as anyone else.

Disgraceful!!!
The waiter knocked out our wine and spilt everywhere. When the bill came we saw he charged whole bottle and he thanked to catch our wine by ourselves.
Totally disgraceful! If we were the local, he wouldn't do this!
