Ambiente bastante agradável e esteticamente interessante, mesmo que um pouco afetado pela nova vaga "hispsteriana". Serviço baseado na simpatia de proximidade , mas poderiam dar mais atenção ao factor eficiência. Pratos apetitosos e bem confeccionados. Maior fonte de frustração: doses muito reduzidas o que sugere um estilo de gestão que poderá inibir fidelização de clientela, atendendo à imensidão de ofertas

This was a recommendation from Chef Helder Branco from Momento HB and they definitely lived up to this recommendation. We left most of our orders up to the advice of the servers & bartender. Ginga-style Old Fashioned cocktail was great... drink it slow to enjoy how the flavors change. The mezcal cocktail was a great recommendation from the bartender, who visited our table as well. The meal was amazing! We had it served family-style so we could all enjoy. We had the pork belly, cod, grouper, and lamb dishes and they were all great recommendations! Fun and friendly staff in a hopping late-night neighborhood!

Joli restaurant typique du Portugal où nous avons été très bien accueilli.
Nous avons pu déguster des plats typiques, une soupe de poulet , de la morue....

Restaurante delicioso! Uma ótima surpresa no Príncipe Real. Pratos bem portugueses, e tudo com um toque moderno. O Couvert é uma delicia, com pão da casa, azeitona temperada por eles e um queijo delicioso.
Comemos a Massada de Peixe, que combinou muito com o tempo chuvoso e frio. E a sangria de vinho branco também estava impecável!
Voltaremos com certeza.

We celebrated my boyfriend’s birthday at Faz Frio’s “chambre spearee”, Faz Parte, on the 1st floor over the restaurant last weekend.
Everything was fantastic: the service, the food and the location. Jorge and Luisa were super helpful when it came to planning the evening and they also helped me with a few elements to surprise my boyfriend. Couldn’t have been happier with the experience and will definitely return to the restaurant the next time we’re in Lisbon.

Amazing service, super friendly staff who are not afraid of some small talk, very affordable prices, we didn't even have to remind the waiter that we would like an espresso after the dinner. Very cozy interior and decoration. Couldn't recommend more.

Had a good experience. We first saw a lot of local people so decided to go for lunch there and we weren’t disappointed ! In fact, the bacalhau with maccaroni was amazing and the service was very good.

Our landlord has recommended the "Restaurante Faz Frio".
We had delicious food and George was a very pleasant host.
He was able to tell us wonderful stories about his restaurant. The food was very good Portuguese cuisine.

Klein, fein und z.T. in unterschiedlich großen Separees kann man hier unprätentiös, ohne viel Gewese und von sehr freundlichen, jungen Menschen gut beraten, sehr gut Essen. Bacalau nach Chef ist top. Vorspeisen dringend zu empfehlen, kommen in übersichtlichen Portiönchen.
Sehr schöner Ort für schönen, stimmungsstimmulierenden Abend (zu zweit). Vernünftige Preise.
Den einen Punkt Abzug gibt‘s, weil man Brot und Butter zu Beginn bezahlen muss; finde ich kleinlich.

Um espaço comercial com história, que renasce sem perder os traços que o caracterizaram no passado: os recantos de tertúlia, entre pinturas retratando antigos ofícios; o pavimento centenário em Lioz; os azulejos restaurados; o candeeiro dos cachos de uvas; o marinheiro do Mário Cesariny. Agora só a porta da rua está aberta para nos receber, ficou mais acolhedor. Mas o mais importante, o bacalhau continua a destacar-se à mesa! A Antiga Casa Faz Frio voltou à vida.

Newly open under new chef and management.
It's my second time at Faz Frio and never seizes to amaze me. Its simplicity it's what catches me. First time around we did a "tapas" dinner and tried all appetizers on the menu with a group of friends. Now it was time for a Saturday lunch for two on a rainy day.
Super friendly staff, fast service and the explosion of flavours will keep me coming.
If you want to eat Portuguese food with a twist by chef Mateus Pessoa this is your place.
Be aware they don't take reservations and on busy days you might have to wait, never waited long but you can have a nice drink while waiting.

É um restaurante muito antigo, do tempo em que ainda havia "reservados", ou seja uma sala para cada família. Modernizaram a casa mas mantiveram os tais reservados. O serviço costuma ser bom. O estacionamento nem sempre é fácil mas há parques de estacionamento nas imediações.

Stumbled across this place by accident and after being seated in the cosy interior we were plied with a series of exquisite morsels ranging from deliciously tender octopus to a hearty cod and chickpea salad - you have never tasted chickpeas like it. The service was excellent - polite and swift. The decor is tasteful and quaint. An excellent place for a tapas style dinner or a robust meal. Go.

No dia da tempestade Elsa estava uma corrente de ar e bastante frio dentro do restaurante pedimos para fecharem a porta do restaurante. Ao que nós responderam que não pois o gerente/dono não permitia. Pedi para falar com ele que me respondeu que não podiam fechar porque se não as pessoas não percebiam que o restaurante estava aberto. Eram 23h50 nessa altura, e disseram que a cozinha fechava às 22h00, portanto não iriam servir mais ninguém. Tivemos que acabar de comer de casaco vestido, estavam pessoas constipadas no grupo e mais uma grávida. Não acho que seja a melhor forma de tratar clientes. O Restaurante faz justiça ao nome. FAZ FRIO! Nunca mais lá vou...

Wenn ich 4,5 vergeben könnte, würde ich es tun.
Ein sehr interessanter Laden. Früher war das eine einfache Kneipe für Seefahrer. Das sieht man den Wänden und einigen Gegenständen der Einrichtung noch an. Ich würde sagen mit Bedacht konserviert. Sehr schön sind die abgetrennten Kompartimente, in denen man in Gruppen unter sich ist. Insgesamt ist das Ambiente wirklich schön. Und auch das Essen. Ja, traditionell aber nicht brutal, wie man es häufig in den sogenannten traditionellen Restaurants bekommt. Die Gerichte sind pfiffig und ausgesprochen lecker., Da ist auch mal was Ungewöhliches dabei. Ich "fresse" mich am Liebsten durch die kleinen und feinen Dinge durch. Der Service ist ebenfalls sehr aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Man könnte kritisieren, dass es vielleicht etwas zu sehr inszeniert ist, aber mich stört das nicht. Das ist ein feinerr Ort um auch mal etwas Besonderes zu begehen. Und wenn man dann noch ein bisschen Durst hat, empfehle ich wärmstens die aus meiner Sicht beste Gin-Bar Lissabons - Gin Lovers - direkt um die Ecke. So sieht ein gelungener Abend aus.

The place was recommended by our AirBnb host as one of his favorite local restaurants with the best food and friendliest staff. It was just as described. One of the most beautiful and interestingly decorated restaurants with great food to match! We truly truly recommend Faz Frio. Everything that we ate was cooked to perfection, and we had a great conversation with the staff who were always happy to help and excited to serve! Truly one of our best experiences in Lisbon. A must-visit!

Great food and fantastic service! Our waiter, Pedro, told us all about the history (over 100 hundred years old - very interesting!) and steered us toward some delicious food as well. Although I am sure all of the food here is likely delicious. Highly recommend eating here.

Kleine aber feine Speisekarte mit ausgewählten Fischgerichten. Gute und ausführliche Beratung durch die Kellnerin. Traditionelle portugiesische Küche mit wechselnden Tagesgerichten und Fisch vom Tagesfang. Gute Lage um danach noch in die Bars weiter zu ziehen.

This place was a great surprise on our recent trip to Lisboa. We went in on a whim and sat at the bar for drinks. Bartender was really outstanding and helped make recommendations based on our preferences. A lot of interesting takes on standard cocktails! Had a couple small plates as a late dinner...they we're all really good. Very intimate, might not be a great spot for a large group, but I'm not sure if there is more seating in the back.

Excelente lugar para disfrutar de la gastronomía portuguesa con un toque original. Atención de enorme amabilidad y simpatía. A destacar los dados de ternero, cualquier opción con bacalao o los quesos. Entre los postres, el mousse de chocolate. Buena selección de vinos. Imposible equivocarse. Con bebida, la factura llega a las 3 cifras para 2 personas si vas con hambre, pero saldrás encantado!

Bacalhau a Narcisa: el plato que he probado. No es muy copioso, pero es el bacalao mejor cocinado de todas mis vacaciones. Estaba en un punto perfecto y de sal tambien, no asi el acompañamiento: a las patatas les faltaba algo de sabor y la cebolla que es muy agradecida tambien le faltaba algo. Pero sin duda su bacalao me ha cautivado. No es economico 12,5€ pero la calidad tiene eso

Lugar pintoresco, tiene el local dividido en pequeñas estancias. El personal es amable y cercano. Si vienes de la parte Baja de Lisboa busca transporte a pie es un suplicio , cuesta arriba.La comida es rica y dicen que Tradicional. Pedimos Cerveza para beber a 3,50 la jarrita , Bacalao con una receta Tradicional , muy bueno y buen precio 16€
Solomillos con una salsa tradicional y patatas portuguesas 14 € la carne de buen sabor estaba fría y la salsa también , las patatas muy ricas.Nos pusieron pan y tres aceitunas partidas para que rellenaran el cuenco y nos cobraron 6 € , cosa que me pareció desorbitada . Hubo una anécdota : el
Lugar estaba muy lleno lo que provocaba un ruido muy molesto ( común en todos los sitios de moda) y el
Encargado nos pido cambiar de mesa para poder unir dos y a cambio nos regalo una mouse de Chocolate , estaba muy buena pero no sé el Precio 4 o 5€ calculo.

This is a great little restaurant, with excellent service. It was sophisticated food, served simply. We had the lamb with mint, followed by a chocolate mousse with a sweet pumpkin and citrus sauce. On request, they created a pear flavoured cocktail, based on our whim in the moment, which tasted surprisingly good. Cheekily, they provided us with freshly baked slices of bread to start, which we didn't actually order, but for which we were charged 4 euros!

Can't say enough good things about this spot - not touristy but still friendly to all. Amazing food -- classic Portugese dishes but inventive and interesting. The owner was very hospitable and gave us a history of the restaurant, plus recommendations for the city. A must go in Lisbon!

Very small restaurant with flavorful food and cute decor but uncomfortable chairs to sit on for the time you have to wait for everything you order. A bartender that doesn't know how to make drinks from their menu. Over 10 minutes to receive water and glass of wine. Over 30 minutes to receive soup. Over 1 hour to receive 2 dishes that do not require ample amount of cooking time. Side of plain white rice that took so long we were done eating. And a manager that guided the server on his first day of work to say tap water is unsafe to be served (in Lisbon nonetheless).
What I saw today was an unorganized business that seems to run understaffed at the front and back of the house. Meals dont need to come out in 20 minutes but also not in 60 minutes.
I paid for bottled water when I ordered tap. I paid for rice that i cancelled 2x and it never touched out table. I also left a regular tip for the new waiter who was doing his best but could not count on kitchen staff. We did not hear a "sorry for the delay 'or "thank you for coming".

What an excellent meal from a quality staff! My wife and I were there for probably 3 hours and were one of the last to leave. All of the dishes were outstanding. I got the Pork with Polenta and my wife got the Cod with Octopus. Each dish we had was traditional Portuguese but with modern takes. We really appreciated the authenticity and quality of the food.

We stepped into this restaurant by luck and it doesn't look like much from the outside but believe me, you are going to enjoy your meal here! Stuff is amazingly friendly and the food is prepared in a way the brings out all the smells and flavors of the ingredients!
Try the diced veal! Thank me later!

Très bon service et très bon repas. Très accommodants pour nos jeunes enfants. J’y retournerais.

Dit is een traditioneel Portugees eethuisje. Klein, eenvoudig kwa keuze, sobere bediening, basis. We kregen waarop we hoopten gezien van buiten. Maar ... het eten was er heel lekker; Ga dus voor de tradtie, niet voor verrassing of sterrenkeuken. Ik at er heel lekkere gefrituurde sardientjes. Vooraf soep - en we kregen er lekker brood bij en een heerlijk bolletje kaas ... Sterk koffietje nadien (maar vraag geen capuchino hier ...). Geslaagd ... maar je moet er niet de halve stad voor rondrijden ....

Tradicional, tranquilo. A comida é Boa, razoável. Nada do outro mundo. Se você tá com pressa, escolha outro lugar. O vinho da casa é bom.
