We use Cowork Central whenever we have meetings with our team in Lisbon and it is perfect. Open spaces, meeting rooms and what really differentiates it from other coworking spaces I have used in other countries is the extra support and social events offered by the management. It also has a great fully-equipped kitchen with tables and comfy chairs, which is always a huge plus. And is super central as its name suggests. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a permanent or temporary working space in Lisbon.

Had a great time at Cowork Central during my 2 months in Lisbon. Convenient location, great space with amazing view of the Tagus river, amazing friendly people!

This is such a great space. People are friendly, cool, open. And the plants and decorations. Everyone is super accommodating and wants to get to know others. And the dinner! wow, it was fantastic. I really enjoyed meeting such a fantastic network of people. Plus, nice filtered water, free coffee, lunch room, great views...what more could you ask for? :)

I've worked at over 20 coworking spaces around the world and none have the same sense of community as Cowork Central. There is lots of natural light and they host great events so that everyone can get to know each other. The staff are friendly, professional and great human beings. I highly recommend Cowork Central!

We have a private office for 3 people in Lisbon so we also get the benefit of the shared spaces and social activities in CoWork Central. It's great to have a team taking care of general office items so we can focus on our work. Very happy to recommend CoWork Central.

I've been to coworking spaces on three different continents and none of them can compare to Cowork Central. None I've been to had the welcoming community and camaraderie that you'll find here and it's all thanks to Tom and the staff. Cowork can really be whatever you want it to be and for me is definitely a combination of a great place to work, a place to make friends or find people to hang out with as you explore Lisbon, and a place to go for talks and events. If you come here, rest assured there's nowhere else in Lisbon, maybe not even any other cowork that you go to, where you'll find the same sense of inclusion you'll find here.

Having sampled many of Lisbon's cowork spaces, I can confidently declare that Cowork Central is DA BOMB! Fantastic, bright and quiet working rooms with views and surrounded by lush vegetation with great coffee and lounge facilities. There are 2 locations with central Cais Do Sodre the more social and Principe Real the more studious atmosphere. They have a really active Slack channel with everything from planned dinners to apartments for rent. Really useful for newcomers. A++++

best coworking space I've been in... having traveled a bit more since being in Lisbon, I miss cowork central and how easy it was to get work done there. some places can be incredibly noisy and distracting... but you could always get work done in peace here... the 24/7 access was amazing too for busy weeks and deadlines.

It appears that Cowork Central in Cais do Sodre is not everything it’s cracked up to be. Let me start by saying I don’t often write bad reviews, namely because I don’t like doing so. My review here is meant to share my experience. I have no ill will towards Cowork Central and It’s evident many other people have had an enjoyable time and an overall good experience. I’ll start with the positives: 1) The space is a good size with good coffee and a good place to plop down and work for a bit. 2) The internet speed was great: 200+ Mbps download and 100+ upload from my test. 3) They have a small room available for meetings which you can book at an hour a day with a membership. And now we’ll turn to the reasons for the three star rating: 1) I never like it when receptionists or coworking front desk workers are having a conversation and don’t recognize your presence. I’m totally fine when they are helping someone else, but when the conversation appears to be a personal one by nature and you are left standing there awkwardly for several minutes… Let’s just say it’s not a great first impression. This is what happened at Cowork Central. 2) The tour itself was 25 seconds long and not overly helpful. We tried to spur conversation with questions but it seemed like we weren’t given full attention. I know sometimes the language barrier can affect this (we are English speaking only), but it felt like more than this. 3) We stayed to work and I received an email about an hour in with a reminder to book the day pass online. How to do so wasn’t made clear but I figured it out and paid for the day for my wife and I. I was surprised they were pushy about paying for the day as most places offer free day passes to try the space out. It wasn’t 100% clear that we weren’t able to try for free and then make our decision. We almost left after an hour, but needed to get work done so we stayed and paid for our time. 4) There was only one small room to work with not the most comfortable chairs. 5) I believe they have call rooms which I was excited about, but unfortunately I wasn't shown where they were. I didn't ask because by that point we had already decided not to come back. Overall, I was slightly peeved at having to pay for two day passes (30 Euros) for just a few hours work, and the vibes from the place weren’t great. For me, atmosphere is huge in a coworking space and if a place feels off it isn’t conducive to good work. Some will find it a great fit, and others may want to pass it up and look for other alternatives in Lisbon.

I spent one morning at Cowork Central to conduct a virtual coaching session. You can use the private meeting room up to one hour, internet connection is great and other co-workers are super friendly. They showed me around before the reception opened. There's also a nice coffeeshop across the road. Will definitely book again next time in Lisbon.

Best co-work place ever! I travel every two or three months to Lisbon and I have been in different co-work places. But this one is amazing! I am an environmental researcher and it is really important for me to have a nice place to write my articles and in Cowork central I am able to work in such a fluid way :) I love it! Chen and Tom are wonderful. Every morning Chen has such a nice smile and energy! I am super happy I found this place.

Brilliant place to work! I've been working there for a few months. Location is great, fast Internet, it's quiet, air conditioned, and have been very productive there. Socially, there's a few gatherings for meals and beers with other coworkers. Overall highly recommend.

I'm so happy I found Cowork Central. I lived in Lisbon for 2 months and needed to find somewhere to work outside of the apartment. The Cais do Sodré location was perfect. The staff are wonderful, the coffee is great, the internet is fast, and there are lots of opportunities to meet new people if you like - they organize lunches, wine tastings, happy hours, surfing trips, etc. Obrigada!

We rented an office here for our startup team of 5 members for a couple of months. The space and the team were wonderful, as well as the location. We will definitely be back when in Lisbon :)

Indisputably the best Co-working place in Lisbon for community, view, location, team and lots of other stuff - go!

I spent a bit over a month here, and the place is super lovely. I've been nomading for some two years now, and this is hands down the nicest coworking space I've been at, in terms of people, vibe, location, and general "feel". The people working here are so nice (of course speak great English), and there's a nice mix of permanent members are more short term. Always nice conversations in the kitchen and during lunch. I'd highly recommend it.

So much more than an office, great atmosphere, probably the best sunset views from your desk, social gatherings, amazing people, amazing friends!

Great location with a lot of nice desks and equipment. The staff is always friendly and tries to help you with all the problems you might bump into. On top of that you'll be invited to a group so you can join people for lunch, surfing or simply having a beer/coffee! Definitely recommended!

Very opaque and unfriendly operation. I worked here and tried to join. They said it was full and would let me know when it wasn't full. But my friends at the space tell me several new permanent members joined in the 6 weeks since I've tried, and the owners haven't yet replied to my inquiries about the waiting list. That said, it's a good location, and there aren't a lot of coworking spaces with good locations in Baixa/Chiado - hence my interest still in joining. EDIT: Just as a quick response to the reply below: if I've said anything untrue, then I apologize - I try to be honest in my reviews, and I will definitely correct any inaccuracies. As for email replies, I mostly meant within the past 24 hours no reply re the waiting list, so perhaps I've been hasty? But that all begs the question of why my name was ever removed from the waiting list at all? (I've modified my review to be more concise and accurate, and also because one sentence was unnecessarily personal on my part.)

Pretty great co-work space. Lovely environment , feels more like home than office to be honest. And people are really nice as well. Great job on creating a nice hub for work and networking! P.S. The covfefe machine is awesome :)

Welcoming co-working space in central area of Lisbon. Excellent staff, great coffee, great wifi, and nice people. The quality of the seats and office chairs are not ideal and each room in the building has a different setup and views. Some have nice views of the outside area while others have none at all. Overall I reccomend it for sure and would go back.

one of the best coworking spaces I have ever worked at. a perfect balance of good atmosphere, and work atmosphere. I will be back!

Great atmosphere, plenty of natural lighting, and spacious quiet rooms. Top it off with free coffee and a common area for socialising and you've got a recipe for success. Oh, have I mentioned the location is just plain unbeatable?

There isn't a cowork space in the world with a more charming and elegant host as Cowork Central. And you know what? It also has one of the best views in the city. And coffee. And toys. I would move to Lisbon just to be able to work there every day. Cowork central is the home you've never missed until you've set foot there for the first time.

I worked there for three weeks January 2017. Very friendly people, nice location and you can find a quiet spot if you want to (there's a dedicated space for phone/video calls). Also as mentioned, #surfbus ;).

Wonderful people here and a killer location. Tom makes a tremendous effort to spark social interaction and it pays off. The views are also fantastic! So many fantastic sunsets over the river. Also, #surfbus 4ever.

I worked from Cowork Central during the month I stayed in Lisbon and, honestly, can't wait to go back. It has many rooms, each very different from the next. So whatever you prefer, you can probably find it here. The people are super cool and friendly. Tom, Helena and Carolina are great. Recommended.

Ah, Cowork Central, how I miss thee. I worked out of this space for a total of maybe 9 or 10 months? A loooong time either way, and I have lots of good things to say about it. Tom and his team are warm, helpful and accommodating, both with cowork-related things and non-cowork related lisbon things. There's a couple of different rooms with lovely views and good light. Always lots of interesting people around. Great place to work, fun times to be had. #lunch

Most central location, a space big enough to find new peers, small enough to still get to know everyone, most flexible tariffs & best view from a toilet set I ever had!

I've been working here for about 3 months now. The location is unbeatable and the community is very friendly. As a bonus, you get to work with a view on the Rio and surrounded by exotic animals.

When I travel to Lisbon for work, I always work at Cowork Central because of the location, the friendliness of the staff, and the available of desk options. Tom is always helpful, welcoming, and greets people in the morning. Cowork Central is a great space for digital nomads and people who need to work remotely. The location is fantastic with views of the river, close to public transit options, and many shops, cafes, and restaurants.

I love this coworking space in Lisbon. I have found it a great place to work away from home - the atmosphere is friendly, the space is well-equipped and the internet is fast (also, there is free coffee and sometimes cake). The rooms are light and airy and there are fabulous views. Cowork Central is conveniently situated at Cais do Sodre, close to the river and various bars and restaurants for after work drinks, something I love in summer! Tom, the owner, is extremely helpful and friendly. If you are new to Lisbon and looking for somewhere to work from then this is a good place to go as he will introduce you to the other coworkers and answer questions you may have about freelancing in Lisbon. All in all Cowork Central offers a good deal and a lovely environment to work in as a freelancer.

Great place to work with a great view and nice people. The location is great, you can easily find a good place to eat or drink near by and you can access most of the public transportation which is also close by.

Cowork Central is located in the heart of Cais de Sodre, just close to the metro and you can enjoy a great view of the river from your desk! Also you have all you need around, from restaurants for lunch to all the services and shops you may need. I already try other 2 spaces in Lisbon and definitely this is my favorite one – there is no formalities and you feel like home. Tom, the owner is very hospitable and he ensures that you have everything you need. Very friendly and flexible person! There is a kitchen where you can take your own food and free coffee is available; accessible meeting rooms and very nice co-workers to make connections; WIFI works perfectly. There is the big advantage that you can acquire a pass for 10-days, being a ‘nomad’, that is perfect when you spend much time travelling. Best co-working space in Lisbon I know! Highly recommended.

It's well located, with a killer view of the river and bridge, fast internet connection, comfy chairs, kitchen... All you need to concentrate and work. I focus wonderfully there! As a big plus, people are very nice and we sometimes go have lunch together or some beers afterwards with other coworkers and Tom, the owner. So it's good if you're new in Lisbon and need to meet people too.

I've spent a week in Cowork Central, starting with a free one-day trial. Everything went well, exactly as I expected it to be. The place is in a good location in Lisbon. There is plenty of cafes and restaurants around. In the office there are lots of interesting people, everyone is really helpful and friendly. Coffee is good, Wi-Fi is fast and reliable.

Tom's Cowork Central. Go for the work, stay for the people. Definitely the best cowork space in Lisbon: excellently located, fair priced and warm atmosphere.

It's been almost 2 years that I have been working at Cowork Central and I am more than pleased. It's hard to find a better place to work in Lisbon: central location, wondeful view over Lisbon, free coffee, welcoming area and warm details to feel like home, accessible meeting rooms and very nice co-workers to make connections. WIFI works perfectly and Tom is very friendly and flexible.

I worked from Cowork Central for a day. Tom showed me around, and introduced me to some of the other co-workers. Super friendly and welcoming environment. Everyone was respectful of space. The space itself was really nice, free coffee, nice view of the river and good location. Internet was fast. Couldn't ask for more really.

Since the first moment I step in I liked it... The atmosphere, the space to work, the location (in the heart of Lisbon with very good connections), the people and the fantastic views of the river (that can be very inspiring). Tom was since the first moment very friendly, extremely helpful and flexible. He also cares about the good atmosphere at work, always introduces the newcomers and is always there to help, if someone needs. Highly recommended!!!

Great location, cool space, really friendly environment! The person in charge (Tom Davis) is extremely helpful and flexible in all aspects: from scheduling and reserving space to payment, passing through any kind of assistance needed!! Definitely my go to place when I need to work from Lisbon

I came into Cowork Central seeking just a one-day refuge from construction work going on by my apartment, and I ended up booking an extra 10 days because the space was so welcoming. Great atmosphere, great views of the river, and Tom, the owner, is a excellent about introducing newcomers and making connections. Highly recommended.

Beware of this unethical company. I called cowork central to inquire about their desk space. The manager/owner Tom Davis invited me to come in for a free trial day. Once there, he started pressuring me to buy a 10 day package for 100 euros. He said I would save 2.50 euros per visit and it was a good deal. He never mentioned that the "10 day package" expired in 6 months. If he had, I would never have agreed because I don't believe that money ever "expires". I ended up having to leave Lisbon for the US earlier than expected and emailed him to see if he had any cowork central affiliate in New York where I could use my 50 euro credit or simply refund the balance and he told me that my credit had expired. When I argued that he never disclosed this detail during his sales pitch, he said "it's on our website". It didn't matter to him that I was a walk in client and never visited his website. My bad for trusting this shady guy. Oh, he also tried to deduct my "free trial day" from my package.. that was an early red flag.

Great experience with Cowork Central. I got what I was looking for, a place where everything was focused on connecting people together. The very first day I arrived, they showed me the Slack channel and there you go (work, lunch, beer, events, just name it it's there). It's working well and people in the coworking space enjoy meeting people every day, in portuguese or in english, no matters. Now it's time for me to jump to the next adventure. I wish you the best Cowork Central Mathieu

A+ cowork space! I tried it out for a day while my family was visiting Lisbon, and it was great. Everyone there was really friendly, and I felt very welcome almost the instant I stepped in. Excellent space, fantastic view, the meeting room was spacious and soundproof for my call and there are a couple of really good restaurants nearby for lunch. Next time I'm in Lisbon and I have to work, I know where I'm headed!

Awesome place and people. You feel so much more productive the moment you step into those bright rooms that you'll tell to yourself - "this is going to be a great day".

Nelson Vassalo

The single place in Lisbon where I've been the most productive as a freelancer. Thanks to a combination of an international working environment, location, professionalism amongst everyone coming here usually, and something you can't explain about how meticulous the space has been arranged and decorated — it's called Feng Shui I guess? — make it my only truly considerable coworking option in town.

I spent almost 3 months working at Cowork Central, its a fantastic space, very friendly people and everything works well, the fibre optic internet is super fast and the views of the river are unbeatable. Tom goes out of his way to make sure you are comfortable and happy. I will definitely be back if I return to Lisbon.

My go to office when working from Portugal out of London. Can't recommend this tranquil and harmonious drop in desk space place enough.

Michael Pruchniewski

This co-working space is centrally located in Lisbon, so you can walk over to the water when you want to take a break. The regulars there are very welcoming and Tom is one of the most hospitable people I have met - he ensures that you have everything you need and that you are comfortable in the space. The free coffee is an added bonus as well as beer on Friday afternoons. I would highly recommend this place and will stop by the next time I am in town.

Cowork Central is just a lovely place to be and to work. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed and, at the same time, everyone is respectful of the fact that you're there to work, because they are too! The view across the river helps enormously for those moments when you just need to stare out of a window. The space is light, airy, clean and warm. I love going to work at Cowork when I'm fed up with the kitchen table. I highly recommend it.
