Avons découvert par hasard ce restaurant très bien situé à Lisbonne, en plein sur la ligne du Tram n°28. Nous ne pouvons que le recommander. Les spécialités poissons y sont excellentes (Baccalau, Octopuss, Sardines, Dorades etc...). Le service est sympa et de bon conseil. Très bon rapport qualité/ prix.

Uma agradável surpresa, local pequeno, mas extremamente agradável. Atendimento nota mil, simpatia e a comida saborosa. Pedimos o Bacalhau à Brás por sugestão é dividimos em dois. Recomendo

Mucho mejor de lo que esperábamos. Los mejores calamares fritos que he probado!, buen entrecot, hasta el pan con mantequilla estaba bueno. El mesero que nos atendió fue muy amable y hablaba español, tardaron un poco en llevarnos los platos, pero valió la pena.

We had been strolling around the flea market and happened upon this place. We had a look at the menu and there was a set menu for tourists. Very reasonable considering the portion. The price included a small beer or water, custard and coffee as well as two generous turkey steaks, a fish option was also available. The best custard I've tasted.

Wir hatten Oktopusfilet mit Tomatenreis und Kaninchen mit Knoblauchsoße. Beides war sehr gut (beim Kaninchen hätte die Beilage etwas interessanter sein können). Auf jeden Fall das Beste, was wir in den 3 Tagen in Graça gegessen haben. Auch die Bedienung war freundlich, aufmerksam und schnell.

La cuisine est bonne mais leur appareil de paiement ne fonctionne pas, obligé de retirer (+frais bancaires).

Restaurante com preço justo e comida deliciosa, muito bem preparada e apresentação impecável. Comi o salmão e estava divino. Só não gostei do atendimento. A garçonete foi um pouco grosseira. Ainda assim valeu a pena.

Andato di mercoledì sera, locale vuoto ma personale molto disponibile e cordiale. Le pietanze non sono state particolarmente gradite, sapore insipido. Il piatto a base di baccalà era pieno di patate e cipolle.
Prezzi alti come si norma in posti centrali e frequentati da turisti, si paga molto meno da altre parti.

A bit disappointed with this place. Situated in a very touristic area.
For almost every meal that I've had in Portugal I've eaten cod (it is so good there I couldn't help it) but the 'bacalhau a bras' ordered there was not that good.
However this is not the specialty of the place (sardines are) and to my mistake I haven't tried them. Maybe give them a go.

Llegamos escepticos porque no habia mucha gente pero tengo que decir que espectacular. Recomiendo 100% pedimos el pulpo frito el balacalao bras y ensalada de pulpo y todo increible. Lo mejor la calidad del pulpo. Volvere seguro

As a vegetarian I generally found Portuguese food to be very disappointing. They actually had a couple of vegetarian options on the menu here surprisingly, but while I appreciate that they made an effort, it was unfortunately very bland (some kind of veggie burger with chips and rice) and I got bored and lost my appetite, so didn't finish it.

We visited October 2018. Great place, great food, reasonable price. Give it a try for dinner in Alfama. For two, we had the mixed salad, Broccoli, and Cod with roasted garlic and olive oil with a large pitcher of draft white wine. All fantastic. 32 euro. I would defiantly go again and highly recommend!

손님이 많이 없을때 방문했음에도 담당 여자서버가 불친절했음. 다른 외국인 테이블에서는 친절한 설명을 하기에 기대했으나.. 문어밥을 먹으러 갔는데 안된다고만 하고 대안을 주지 않았음. 그래서 겨우 다른 메뉴를 시켜 먹고있는데 나중에 들어온 옆테이블은 없다던 그 메뉴를 먹고있음?
나올땐 바로옆을 지나가도 인사조차 않던 그 여자서버.
한 끼가 소중한 여행인데 밥먹고 나오니 너무 불쾌했어요. (맛은 그렇다쳐도) 서비스와 매너에 예민하신 분들은 참고하시길 바랍니다.

Jedzenie bardzo smaczne. Polecam w porze lunchu zestaw turystyczny (dorsz z ziemniakami + wino lub woda + deser + kawa). Poza tym z karty jedliśmy osmiornice grillowania i kalary grillowane pyszne. Duży ruch w porze lunchu i obsługa nie nadazała. Ale i tak uśmiech nie schodził z twarzy obsługi. Polecam

Un timo con todas las letras. Comimos un bacalao a brass que no habia bacalao por ninguna parte, todo patata( de bote frita) y huevo. Las sardinas enteras y gigantes ,sin limpiar. Yo creo que el restaurante que hay mas abajo de la calle estan mucho mejor

Un peu déçu par la cuisine de ce restaurant situé dans le quartier de l'Alfama. Le poisson n'était pas vidé, mais manquait surtout de cuisson. Quand au poulpe pané, la chapelure manquait aussi de croustillant. Même les salades en accompagnement n'apportaient pas grand chose aux plats...
Dommage, d'autant que l'accueil était très agréable et le personnel vraiment gentil ! Et nous étions contents de trouver quelque chose d'ouvert le dimanche midi.

Questo locale, poco formale ed accogliente, è la cornice di una città splendida ! Ho mangiato in questo ristorante uno dei piatti più buoni mangiati in vita mia.... il bacalhau a bràz !!!! Ho voluto abbracciare la cuoca a fine serata !!!!
La cameriera italiana poi è un valore aggiunto... ha saputo consigliarmi sulle cose giuste da provare !

My theory is O Carvoeiro is equipped to handle at most about 3/4 the capacity that their restaurant seats. If you look at any of the more negative reviews you'll notice that they all mention it being "packed." This place seems to suffer from either a small kitchen or inadequate staffing when unexpectedly busy... when I went, they were totally inundated by Web Summit tourists, and I sympathize with the chefs and servers.
My meal was quite good. My girlfriend's, who got the rabbit, was not (it was overcooked and gamey). It took over ~40 minutes for food to begin to come out after we ordered it, and then another ~30 minutes after we finished eating to close the tab. The interior was beautiful and the service was kind, so that the fundamentals were the issue was a shame.

Lugar pequeño y familiar ubicado en Alfama. La comida estuvo buena y las cantidades más que holgadas. El problema es que se nota que quieren que acabes rápido. Nosotros llegamos sobre 15.30 cuando el sitio cierra a las 17.00 y pasadas las 16.00 ya estaban metiendonos prisas, retirando los platos...etc. una pena porque no te sientes cómodo. Por lo demás bien.

Nice food and wine, and atmosphere was very friendly. I took sardines - they were huge, and octopus salad for starter - I recommend sharing this one as well. The wino verde was nice, and in the end we got complement cherry liquor in a chocolate mini-cup.

Not good at all. Pork ribs was over salted, not possible to eat, Squid was with sand, you feel it with the teeth. Instead of veal cotlette they serve pork steak.

Miejsce z prawdziwym portugalskim klimatem i muzyką fado w tle. Zaszliśmy tu na kolację. Niestety nie zjadłam krewetek na które miałam ochotę, bo już ich nie było. Mąż chciał zamówić ośmiornicę. On też musiał się obejść smakiem, bo też ich nie było. Szkoda . Na szczęście desery nam to wynagrodziły.

Had the most incredible Portugese food here. Quite possibly the best seafood I have ever eaten. I ordered the garlic mini octopus with potatoes—very flavorful and great texture. My boyfriend ordered the grilled bass with potatoes—crispy skin, soft and delicious inside. I cannot wait to come back on our next trip to Lisbon.

Great restaurant. Interior is designed with nice details and staff was friendly. The duck breast with a sauce of red port and honey literally was the best one I have ever had! The octopus (with a lot of garlic and olive oil) was good as well. Would definitely recommend this place.

ポルトガル料理の美味しいお店。店員さんも親切で良い感じでした。地元の方の利用も多そうです。
ポルトガル風のステーキを食べました。ハムがのっていてジャガイモがたくさん添えられています。ソースはオリーブオイル系でパクチー(コリアンダー)がたっぷりでした。パクチーには少し驚きましたが、パクチーはポルトガルでもポピュラーな様です。苦手な方はご注意を。
サン・ジュルジュ城のある丘の上の方にあるので、城の帰りなどに寄るのがよさそうに思います。

문어샐러드가 상콤하니 아주 맛있던 집이에요. 가격도 저렴하고 양도 진짜 많아서 저녁에 먹다 싸와서 다음날 아침에도 먹었던! 다른 식당 찾기 귀찮아서 둘째날 또 갈려고 했는데 10시쯤 닫더라고요ㅠ 하우스와인을 드래프트 와인이라고 해서 엄청 신선한 와인을 파는데~ 정말 맛있었어요. 그리고 이집에서 먹었던 크림브뤨레 진짜 최고ㅠㅠ 또 먹고 싶네요.

Disgusting. To be honest, everything was heated out of the microwave. Bacalhau a braz, microwave, kind of slushy, not tasty at all, my arroz de polvo, no salt at all. You could clearly see the water from the tomatoe can you buy from the supermarket. You could also clearly hear the microwave sound behind. There was one cool for like 30 persons which have nothing to do but brings doubt in your mind.

Poderia ser muito melhor se a comida fosse melhor temperada, pedimos dois pratos: o peixe assado era só isso sem tempero nenhum, o filé de terneira com alho sem graça nenhuma, resumindo comida sem criatividade sem 'capricho'. O serviço sem atenção, não voltaria nem recomendo.

Uma super experiencia. sabe aqueles lugares que vc não dá nada? no meio do nada? Era a minha única opção estava exausta. Mas sabe... foi a melhor!!!! Á comida estava otima. Comi um delicioso e bem servido polvo á lagareiro. O serviço é otimo. Quisemos compartilhar os pratos a garçonete não pos nenhum obstaculo. A carta de vinhos é boa. Se estiver no Bairro da Alfama... Cold chips and rubber cod!
This 'local specialty' was featured high on the menu - what a disappointment! On our first night in Portugal, we were ready to believe that this was an authentic Portuguese dish, but in the following 13 nights, we never saw it featured anywhere else.
And no wonder! The dish comprised a mound of shredded french fries mixed with tough-to-chew, tasteless codfish, dumped on top of some undressed lettuce. Maybe our mistake in choosing this dish - but our real dissatisfaction came with the proprietor's lack of interest when he cleared our only half-empty plates. A good host should always ask if we did not like the dish or if it had been too much to finish. The best ones compensate with an offer of coffee or similar. This one merely took the plates away without asking. Soon after, when he came to take our card for payment, he failed to take the chance to show interest in anything except taking our money.
Fortunately, he did not represent the true Portuguese hospitality that we then experienced everywhere else in our subsequent two weeks in the country.
Out 'first night' impression? A very bad and totally untypical start to a wonderful holiday. We should have gone to one of the many other options in the immediate area, but we had followed a recommendation from our hotel receptionist, whom we briefed later on our bad experience.

Many tourists in this restaurant. I didn't see any locals here. We felt the dishes were a bit pricey. The sides for the veal with garlic butter was below our expectations as shown in picture. The rice was okay. But fries and salad was rather disappointing. The bacalhau a braz was good. But we've not tried it anywhere else in Lisbon to make a good comparison. However on a positive note the portions were big and they gave us complementary ginjinha (local sherry) with chocolate cup which was nice of them.

Wonderful food. The duck in port wine was fantastic, my wife thought the kebob with monk fish and prawn was some of the best seafood she's ever had. A small intimate environment, maybe 10 tables, casual and reasonably priced - $37 for the 2 of us, no alcohol and two bottles of water.

Food was good. We had the sadine and cod fish (a bit warm, mixed with potatoes, onion, rice, eggs) gave me the hint of spanish potato omelette tapas in a nice way. Service was really slow but she warned us before so expectation was set. Nice closing gimmick at the end with Ginjinha in chocolate cups... yum

Restaurant très touristique forcément vu l emplacement! Hélas les sardines m ont été servies presque crues et la morue aussi est retournée se faire cuire en cuisine. Note 12/20.

We went for dinner and the owners came and open the restaurant . I was thinking how fast and fresh the food could be if the just started . All I heard the sound of microwave opening and closing and hear comes our food . Awful food my burger was burnt and the mashed potato wasn powder out of the box . I do not recommend this place . I should know better when no locals eat there . Fast food guality

A lunch set/menu is 9,50 euros! Includes beer, dessert, cafe. Its a small place and they warned us for the time it may take to serve. 45 minutes. We started with cheese/bread and beers... And didn't really feel that it was a long wait to our fish plates arrived... Custard was so good!

地方有些偏，但28路电车会路过。顾客多数是本地人，餐馆主人热情好客。厨师拿手的当地菜味道很好，分量足。比招揽游客的街边店制作要用心，性价比好。试了步拉斯式鳕鱼和蒜烤八爪鱼，最后送了类似樱桃酒心巧克力的餐后酒。遗憾去的有些晚，没有品尝到八爪鱼顿饭。

Très bel endroit avec beaucoup de choix de plats. Patron très commerçant, service moyen. Très peu de places donc il vaut mieux réserver. 2 inconvénients : pas de menu ou plat adapté aux enfants et le restaurant n'accepte pas la carte bleue.

The food was excellent : fresh food, very well cooked !
The bacalhau "à braz" is a delight, the meat is very well cooked and very tasty, the arroz con polvo was excellent !
The waiter / waitress were very kind even if we arrive late (almost 2pm)
And the place is very cosy...
We had a very nice moment for our last day in Lisbon...

I would recommend this to everyone. We went to Lisboa for 5 nights en ate 4 times in this restaurant. Lots of vegtables, nice fine food, very good wine. After the first time we went, they knew already what we liked to drink and our table was prepared. The prices are also very good. We ate a starter and meat or fish with wine and water and bread and payed between 31 euro's and 42 euro's.
Everytime we got a litte candle as a present. In the area of Alfama there are not a lot of restaurants, so we were very happy to find this one!

I simply love these guys! My partner and I and couple of our friends went there last week (Feb 14) and this week we had to go again! Do try their golden duck in Port wine and their chocolate mousse (certainly the BEST chocolate mousse I have ever had in Lisbon)

The food is this place's greatest strength: simple but very good. Great flavours. Very large steak was beautifully cooked and seasoned, so was the salmon. Chocolate mousse afterward also very good. Only let down by sombre atmosphere and waiter who wasn't very smiley. (Visited Dec.)
