Very nice space in the room with private bathroom. The only problem is that wifi signal isn't accessible at the ground floor

Nous avons aimé la proximité de l’Ambassade de France.La photo de notre chambre ne correspond pas à celle de votre publicité.Les lits sont étroits pour des adultes. Les matelas ne sont pas confortables.Le ménage n’a pas été effectué chaque jour : lits non faits ; douche rempli de poils ; évacuation difficile ; tâches de savon ou de dentifrice autour du carrelage à côté du lavabo ; dessus du WC qui se balade ; ouverture et fermeture de la porte d’entree de la chambre difficile ; porte de la salle d’eau bloquée à moitié.Hôtel non signalé par un panneau situé au 2 eme étage sans ascenseur. Escaliers en bois qui craquent. Très vieil immeuble.Accueil laissant à désirer. La salle de réception est sale.

Chambre propre et confortable avec une belle vue sur la mer. Point négatif : Une seule SDE avec toilette pour toutes les chambres.

Simple and good value guesthouse close to the riverfront in Santos. Quiet location except for the weekends, when there is some noise from bars in the neighbourhood. Great wifi. Hot shower, heater in room. Up two flights of stairs (no lift) with nice views from some rooms.

I stayed here ten nights in December and would stay again. Located on a quiet street, with pretty river views from some rooms, in the lively Santos area. Good bus connections or walk and explore the city of Lisboa. Rooms are basic but comfortable with a small communal kitchen and one bathroom in the corridor. It was cold in December and there was no heating, but extra blankets were provided to keep warm and the shower was good and hot. An extension with more rooms is being renovated on an upper floor at present. There is no signage on the street so look for the doorway to Mana guesthouse, which is on the ground level in the same building.

Dirty bathroom, employees not speaking the local language, hostel at the 2nd floor but there's not any indication ! Not professional at all

Hotel sencillo, de habitación y baño grande. Limpio y en buen estado. Llegamos más tarde de lo previsto y no hubo problema para el check. Situado en buen lugar, cerca del barrio alto y la Baixa. A unos 10 minutos andando de la estación de tren y ferry. Situado en una segunda planta

Serviço é bom, mas a insonorização é muito fraca, consegue ouvir tudo o que se passa no corredor e outros quartos

Comfortable and good value stay in Santos. I liked the good WiFi, doorcode system (no keys), and room heater.

Comfortable overnight stay, heated room, good wifi. I liked the new doorcode locks on all doors for security, no keys anymore. Some renovation noise and dust inside and also at neighbouring properties.

El alojamiento está bien excepto porque no limpian, el baño no lo han limpiado nunca, la ducha sucia el lavabo lleno de pelos .... Esta bien situado eso sí pero el edificio en el que esta es muy viejo y está súper deteriorado, huele bastante mal.

El lugar es difícil de encontrar. Esta muy MUY sucio el baño. Las camas estan duras y rechinan al mas MINIMO movimiento. La ventana estaba atascada, las puertas se trababan. Estan haciendo modificaciones, pero creo que lo principal es la limpieza y la comodidad.

Horrível!! Para além das camas fazerem barulho, baratas na casa de banho, pontas de cigarros enfim. Pior são os hóspedes que não respeitam os mesmos, barulho a toda hora, 5 da madrugada ainda não se dorme pq alguem decidiu fazer festa no terceiro andar, segundo andar que amanhe com o barulho. Horrível simplesmente isso. Pessoas a tocar a campainha a toda hora, sabendo que a partir das 20 a recepção não funciona mais. Estou frustrada por ter pago e não ter conseguido descansar. Não aconselho a ninguém tal coisa. Experiência de bosta!

The room was spacious, which is good.The kitchen is poorly equipped and not clean.When we first arrived it was an early flight reaching the guest house 8 am on a Sunday. We were new to Lisbon hence we asked which bus goes to the town centre the guy there said he did not know, then we needed to look for a cafe for breakfast and to do some research on internet, in order to navigate around, ( since it was too early to check in our room), he gave us the same answer. That is not helpful to a visitor. Actually there is a McDonalds round the corner, later we found.The location is not close to the Metro, but there are plenty of buses in Lisbon. However, you do need to walk some uphill, plus the fact that the guesthouse is on the 2nd floor of the building People who have bad knees need to take precautions for this

The hostel was being renovated when we stayed there. The room had been renovated half, e.g. the walls had been painted but the bathroom had not (yet?) been renovated.

Stanza sporca, lenzuola messe già sporche e mai cambiate, nonostante le lamentele. Bagno privato a dir poco sudicio, con puzza di fogna e sporcizia ovunque... A dir poco vomitevole. Il colpo di grazia è stata la blatta che si aggirava tra il corridoio

Читая предыдущие отзывы настаивала себя соответственно. Но была приятно удивлена. Все замечания гостей хозяева учли. Свежий ремонт. Никакого неприятного запаха из ванной комнаты. Чистота и порядок. Стойка регистрации в отдельной комнате. Персонал говорит на английском хорошо. Расположение прекрасное у отеля. Так что очень рекомендую. Спасибо отелю за уют.

Clean room and comfortable mattress, but the iron bed made a lot of noise when I moved. Thats bothered us a little. We stayed in a bedroom over looking  the road and there were constant  noise of the cars and chatter from the local pub . The hostel cleanners changed the towels  and cleaned the bedroom everyday, the kitchen and share bathroom were always clean. But there was no refuge bin available at the room, I used a plastic bag instead to collect our waste.There were not lift which made it a bit difficult for who have some mobility problems.Good location, the hostel is about 1,5 km walking distance to the city center and have a lots public transport, restaurants and shops close.The wi-fi worked well and they kept our luggage  bags after we checked-out for a few hours at no charge.

Las camas hacen mucho ruido,el piso no está nivelado,lq cocina y el baño no estaban muy limpios. No hay una zona común donde poder tranquilo. La chica de la "limpieza" entra en el cuarto para hacerte la cama y recoger sin avisar,cuando se supone que este servicio te lo tienen que avisar desde un principio...en fin, barato y aceptable pero antes de contratarlo buscar algo más!

Pido perdon, por un comentario con nombre de Luis porque se equivoco de alojamiento...y no sabe como retirarlo. Cenario catita hostel es un sito confortable.

Die Lage des Hostels ist super, wenn man mit dem öffentlichen Nahverkehr in Lissabon unterwegs ist. Tram-, Bus-, S-Bahnhaltestellen in der Nähe, auch das Terminal für die Fähre über den Tejo. Auch ein Minimarkt, Kiosk usw. zum Einkaufen sind in der Nähe.Das Hostel befindet sich auf 2 Etagen eines Gebäudes und könnte eine Grundsanierung vertragen, vor allem das Bad war nicht gerade einladend, überall schwarze Flecken auf den Silikonfugen und alte Installationen. Das Fenster im Bad ließ sich nicht öffnen zum Lüften.Die Gemeinschaftsküche war nicht sauber, Geschirrhandtücher u. Putztücher wurden gar nicht gewechselt.Das Zimmer selbst einfach eingerichtet. Wir hatten Blick auf den Tejo, dadurch war es aber auch laut, weil eine verkehrsreiche Strasse dort entlang verläuft.Die Leute am Empfang waren hilfsbereit. Insgesamt kann man für den Preis wohl nicht mehr erwarten.

This hostel has friendly staff, pleasant rooms, and nice riverviews from some rooms. But there were interruptions such as the hot water running out in my en suite bathroom, because the neighbouring rooms used all the hot water. The old kitchen was very dirty, and upstairs renovations only partially ready with new kitchen just opened, so on the 3rd floor there was some dust, noise, holes in the walls and exposed wires.

Heads up, folks. Never mind the name Catita, which is a great Portuguese word that was dying out and is now coming back, meaning neat/fancy/stylish. Never mind the good location. You can find much better anywhere in Lisbon, and even for less money. I called the Hostel asking if they had any vacancy for one night and how much it would cost. Over the phone, I was told that they did have a room with bathroom available for €50. I said I'll be there in 20 minutes, and so I did. As soon as I got there, I confirmed having called earlier and the young man at the reception did not bat an eyelash. Barely even spoke, which stroke me as odd; it is customary to interact with people... when working with people. The reception is on the second floor and, while getting in, I was really disgusted by how dirty and chaotic everything was. By all means, I was expecting a modest lodgement, but modesty is not a pathway to dirtiness or lack of common courtesy. At any rate, I confirmed the price I was given over the phone, to which the very much indifferent young man replied "50 plus €2 for City tax". Well aware of city tax charged by all accommodations in Lisbon, I explained that when I asked over the phone how much I had to pay, the gentleman said 50, not 52. "This is tax, it has nothing to do with the hostel". I repeated that I obviously knew what the city tax was, last year was €1, this year it amounts to €2 per person/per day, and when he told me 50 over the phone the employee should have clearly said 50 plus city tax. The could-not-care-less-about-what-you-are-saying attitude went on, mainly by giving me the silence treatment; it seemed I had walked in a Jobseeker's Allowance office in the UK, but not having ever actually worked before (so no rights for you!). Even though the gentleman was not a Portuguese native speaker, he could understand very well what I was saying. By then, I really did not care: 50, 52, what have you... I looked at the wall and the sign said "if you need an invoice, please request it at the time of check-in", which I did, as I was about to pay. "I cannot give you an invoice, only the owner can do it, and she is not here. Also, I'm just an employee". Come on, we all know working is hard, working the night shift is even harder, but if you are this upset, annoyed, fed up with guests/customers/people, perhaps choose a different line of work. I did not say that, the one thing I did say very quiet but firmly was "I understand you cannot give me an invoice yourself, but I still want one". So he rolled his eyes, exhaled a loud pffft, got up from his chair saying he would call the owner on the phone. I stood there for one minute thinking "Hum, I don't need this. There are lots of fine places near-by and even a bit further away, I really do not want to spend the night in a dirty and over-priced hostel, with a sulking receptionist that has no clue on how to interact with other people. It is really not my problem his unhappy. I am not that happy either tonight and see no reason to take it out on a perfect stranger working at odd hours". When he came back with the mobile to call the owner, I said "You know what? Do not bother the owner. Please keep the room and good night". He mumbled 'm'Kay'. I am not so sure he knows there was a person actually there. I decided I would prefer to sleep in my van and find a nicer place the next day.
