We were looking for some Indian food to satisfy our cravings and chanced upon this restaurant. It is small, cosy and comfortable. The owner who served us was very attentive and friendly. The foods wee so good we ended up coming here for two more times while in Lisbon. The portion is generous and would easily keep you stuffed for the whole day if you have the meal for lunch. I'd recommend the lamb and prawn briyani. Highly recommended. Give it a try!

Wir sind aufgrund der guten Bewertungen hier gelandet und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Das Essen war schnell zubereitet und total lecker. Wir können dieses Restaurant empfehlen! Unbedingt Naan Brot mit Käse probieren

Durch Zufall endreckt und total begeistert vom Essen! Kann es nur jedem empfehlen, der Indisches Essen mag, hier kommt man auf seine kosten zum günstigen Preis!

Stayed close to this place while in Lisbon and decided to try it out. Was not dissapointed. Really tasty food and good portions at a reasonable price. Will definitely be back when in Lisbon.

Tasty and fresh food. You have to try their Mango lassi drink! The owner is emphatic and service-minded. We sat at the small table outside and had great food with a cool urban surrounding.

A good place to eat not expensive and delicious food. The portions are big so it's hard to finish one by one person. Shrimps with spinach supprised us and seemed especially good! The service is good and overall it feels like a nice homelike place.

This is the most rubbish resturant in the whole Lisbon the staff is aggresive there attitude is pathatic they try to dictate and try to cheat in the price and try to rip you off.The curries are below the standard,the Chapati are not fresh.

Si sois españoles no esperéis hasta las hora habitual aquí para comer o cenar, cuando fuimos a distintos restaurantes recomendados para cenar había ya cola de una hora para entrar y aún eran las 9 de la noche o menos incluso. Al final entramos en este local porque no había cola y nunca habíamos probado este tipo de comida y nos encantó. Los platos principales son bastante pequeños, pero viene fenomenal acompañarlos de arroz, que cuesta 1,5€ y te dan un plato para 2-3 personas al menos, así que al final trae cuenta.

Aufgrund der guten Bewertungen sind wir hier gelandet und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Das Restaurant liegt etwas versteckt aber es lohnt sich. Eine sehr freundliche und zuvorkommende Bedienung. Karte in vielen Sprachen erhältlich. Essen sehr gut und mit einer Portion Reis dazu sehr reichhaltig. Gute Preise für das was man bekommt. Klare Empfehlung von mir

Nous propose une entré avant même qu’il nous donne la carte des menus et sans que l’ont demande(en France dans les restaurants il nous l’offre cette entrée)et nous le fait payé à la fin,2 menus adultes et 1 menus enfant à plus de 50€ les toilettes étaient vraiment sale je n’ose pas imaginer l’état de la cuisine. En plus de sa le riz n’avais pas vraiment de goût, le poulet n’était pas frais il était cuit et recuit .Je vous le déconseille fortement,

Miejsce klimatyczne, nie ładne ale ma swój urok co pozwala czuć się jak mieszkaniec miasta. Jedzenie naprawdę pyszne i dobrze przyprawione, a obsługa bardzo miła nie naciąga.

Love, love, love their food, so authentic and mouth watering delicious dishes. I ordered daal gosht and my husband ordered Tikka and I asked for spicy and for him non spicy and we both were not disappointed. Very friendly staff and meat is halal there. Definitely recommended

Food is okay ! Prices are reasonable portions are good enough naan and their chatni was awesome but roti was so thick and i was not able to chew it well and it felt like rubber and neither baryani was good . Finding halal resturant is big deal I was in alfama neighbourhood so I find them, location is really nice . Owner was so humble. They serve chai as well if you are in neighbourhood go for it ..!!

Ill-mannered waitor. Did not accept card payment except Portuguese cards. We had to take out cash from ATM which caused additional charges as well. Later he was trying to justify it by making different excuses. First he told that if we accept European cards, we have to pay charges. When we told him that we know that this is not the case, he all of a sudden changed the story and said that there was a problem once and police visited his place and blocked their system for European cards acceptance. Being a Pakistani, we walked to this restaurant for about two kilometers but disappointed later. I would say that his behavior does not represent Pakistan. Not recommended at all.

Absolutely disgusting! Over charged us on many items, when caught out made excuses. He argued and didn't make any sense, saying he also charges for complimentary papadomes that he offered us before handing the menu .We challenged him saying this is fraud but he still charged. Absolutely disgusting!!

Tasteless food from start to end. Please avoid your time, money and effort (lots of steps to climb) to come here. Kabobs were rock solid and chicken tikka completely tasteless. Eww!!

Food is of low quality. Definitely not fresh, could clearly tell it was re-heated.
Owner / staff spoke rudely and seemed frustrated for having to serve the customers.
Staff sat down with friends and started using abusive language in presence of diners.
Only plus point was fresh and hot Naan (bread).
Would avoid visiting again or recommending to others.

Amazing restaurant with stunning food!
The owner is a cute old man with a handsome smile and he will bring you the most delicious indian food, that you could imagine. Especially for the low price. The chicken is tender and the sauces are rich in flavour. Defenitly one of my favorite indian restaurants worldwide! We were 3 times there while we stayed in lisbon.
The place doesn't look that special, but it's totally worth to try it, believe me.

Taste of Punjab Lisbon is located in the Praça Martim Moniz area.. My kids referred me to it and it is close to work, so I tried out and encountered a new addiction (ty)..Chicken karahi with Naan. Once a week, with extra sauce, I get one of these delightful entrees. More than once I have had to explain my addiction to my girlfriend it’s not another woman, its a Chicken karahi . She now understands. Treat yourself, to the food that comes from the history of largest State between India & Pakistan. Like TX Punjab has a heart of gold and the Food is out of this world. The ambiance is not why you go to Taste of Punjab, its the FOOD!

Poulet Korma excellent et très généreux. Grand choix de plats végétariens, les pois chiches sont très bons. Une portion de riz suffit pour 2 . Un petit plus : carte des menus en français, ça aide

Horrible customer service, rude owner, spiting on the door way, took our plates full of food to close restaurant without asking if we finished, he argued with people calling nasty words in the street. NEVER Coming back again. The food was good but HORRIBLE RCPERIENCE, NEVER VOMING BACK. This is how this place is.

Went here for dinner one evening while we were here on vacation visiting Lisbon. We always enjoy eating at an Indian restaurant since it is predominantly what we eat at home. We order several dishes. I always enjoy a Palak(spinach) dish especially with chicken, we also ordered some aloo mattar and a couple of orders of chicken tikka masala for the kids, The food was flavorful, tasty and delicious. My only complaint with the food was it was a bit on the oily side, but I am sure it added to the taste. The gentleman who served us was very friendly and provided great service. This place is is bit hidden and at the top of a hill. You will get via workout getting there. Would recommend this place without reservation.

A little off the beaten path. Chicken was very good as was the aloo matar. The vegetable biryani was just ok. Service was efficient and good. Mango lassi was terrific. Rice was a large serving and the papad to start w the 3 chutneys was a plus. Definitely a good spot.

Excellent gravies- veg as well as non-veg. Very affable and considerate host. Chicken tandoori was a bit dry if I might be overly critical, but every other dish - Sheehk kebab, paneer saag and mutton gravy was wonderful...

성에 갔다가 내려오면서 들린 곳. 별 기대없이 들어갔는데 주인이 과도하게 친절. 소고기에 토마토소스 곁들인 카레와 흰쌀밥, 맥주 한 병을 주문해서 만오천원 정도 나옴. 혼자 먹기엔 좀 많고 둘이 먹기엔 부족한 양이었음. 나올 때 주방에서 요리하시는 연세 있으신 분도 손 흔들어줌. 아마도 현지 기준으로 저녁식사에는 이른 시간이라 손님이 없었을 때여서 그런 듯. 하지만 기분은 좋았음. 가장 중요한 음식은 내 입맛에 맞았음.

small restaurant with average food and average service! I am from South Asia (Pakistan) and it doesn’t offer authentic taste of most of the dishes. I ordered 4 different dishes and I only liked Lentils other were just okay! NOT RECOMMENDED if you are a die hard desi.

Came here on my way back to hotel to grab a quick bite not thinking it would be anything special . Got the chicken tikka misala and beef jalfrezi. To my complete surprise, the food was exceptionally good! One of the best Indian food I've had. Truly cannot judge this restaurant by its cover. Definitely would come back if I'm ever in Lisbon again.

Das Essen war super lecker. Wir waren während unserer Lissabon Reise 2x dort essen, weil es uns prima gefallen hat. Wie andere Leute bereits geschrieben haben ist es ein unauffälliges Lokal, aber mit Gerichten im Preisbereich von 7-9 Euro echt fair. Wenn wir mal wieder in Lissabon sind gehen wir auf jeden Fall wieder dort essen :-)

Insanely good Indian restaurant. The food is very very very good, everything is made fresh and you can definitely taste it. The service and waiter is fast and more importantly very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is very friendly but simple, this place will definitely not disappoint you and the value for money is difficult to top!

Nice service, simple restaurant, very tasty food. We went late for lunch and were very welcomed.it took them no time to serve us, delicious and warm. They do serve alcohol now and have Indian beer as well as Portuguese.

Einfaches aber sehr gemütlich gestaltetes Lokal.
Äußerst freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal, was sichtlich gern seine Kunden glücklich macht.
Wir genossen ein Knoblauch-Naan sowie nach Wunsch scharfes vegetarisches Essen mit Weinempfehlung und einer riesigen Portion Reis. Alles war sehr lecker, perfekt gewürzt und günstig (2 Hauptspeiseen inkl. Getränke und Naan <25€).
Toll sind die vielsprachigen Speisekarten (die die ein oder andere lustige Übersetzung enthalten). Nur der TV ist unnötig.

Leckeres indisches/pakistanisches Essen zum kleinen Preis. Das Lokal ist von außen recht unscheinbar und auch innen kein Highlight. Aber das Essen und der Service sind spitze. Die Speisekarte gibt es in 4 Sprachen - u.a. Deutsch - inkl. sympathischer Übersetzungsfehler.
Ein Stern Abzug, weil bei unserem Besuch der Fernseher lief.

De todos los restaurantes que visité en Lisboa éste fue probablemente el que más me gustó. Las raciones eran muy generosas, a un precio estupendo y con muchísimas opciones vegetarianas. Además, el personal fue encantador. Si vuelvo a Lisboa repetiré sin dudarlo.

Not the best Indian I've eaten but not too bad and reasonably priced. We had 1 garlic naan, 1 cheese naan, 2 lassi, chicken tikka masala and lamb biryani for €26. Meat were tender. Recommended.
