Tenho aulas de Lindy Hop há um ano na Little Big Apple com os professores David e Cátia, que além de serem apaixonados pela dança são muito bons professores, procurando sempre transmitir de forma simples o ponto-chave para que um determinado movimento resulte bem. Além da parte técnica, aquilo que me faz realmente ter vontade de escrever aqui e dar as 5 estrelas é o facto de ser muito mais do que aulas de dança. Os professores proporcionam um ambiente de família, muito acolhedor, que favorece o convívio entre todos. No fim das aulas é comum ficarmos todos algum tempo à conversa, entre alunos e com os professores também. Os professores relacionam-se a um nível muito humano e não com distanciamento de professores. O prazer da partilha está presente e faz-nos sentir bem nesta "família". Ao longo de mais de 10 anos já tive aulas de vários tipos de dança em várias escolas diferentes e aquilo que posso dizer é que... aqui é diferente. Quanto ao espaço que construiram para a escola de dança, além do cuidado técnico em ter um bom chão para dançar, boa acústica, boa ventilação, sente-se que foi construído com muito amor. O espaço do bar é pequeno mas tem bolos caseiros e as tostas são óptimas! (a tosta de fiambre, tomate e orégãos em pão especial é um exemplo do mimo com que nos tratam) . O número de alunos nas aulas é limitado a um número máximo para garantir a qualidade do ensino - o que também favorece a sensação de "família". É mesmo muito acolhedor! As for the space they have built from scratch for the dance school, besides the technical care in having a good dancing floor, good acoustics, good ventilation, it really feels that it was built with a lot of love. The bar area is small but has homemade cakes and the toasties are great! (the toast of York ham, tomato and oregano in special bread is an example of how we are pampered). The number of students in the class is limited to a maximum number to guarantee the quality of teaching. This also favors the sense of "family". It's really cozy!
