15/06/2019: os fadistas da casa deveriam reverenciar Amalia e suas cançoes imortais, que o mundo aprecia (fados desconhecidos que entoaram trazem desinteresse a plateia).
O javali e o polvo apreciados fantasticos, pena que a atendente de mesa ficou 15 minutos na mesa ao nosso lado em pessoal conversa com casal nativo. Declinamos da sobremesa do chef (8,50€/pessoa) pedimos a conta e saimos antes do final do show

Estuve con mi familia y fue una gran experiencia. Comimos de menú por 12€, de primero un caldo verde muy sabroso, de segundo bacalao que estaba tremendo y de postre una mousse de caramelo. Muy rico y también resaltar la atención de los camareros, en todo momento pendientes y explicándote los platos en portuñol. Gran trato.
I was with my family there and it was a great experience for us. We ate: a green soup very tasty, cod with potatoes and eggs, and as dessert, we took a caramel mousse. Menu was 12€. Waitress are wonderful, they were so kindy and attentive. They tried to be understood all food along. 100% advisable

Listen to the mediocre reviews. The service is pretty good, but the food just does not cut it, especially compared to well-rated restaursnts in Lisbon. There's nothing wrong with this place other than that the food is... bad. Bizarrely so. The soup of the day was an oily, coagulated, unappealing mess, and the pig entree was at least 50% bone. The meat that WAS on the plate was only okay. The mousse was quite good though! Maybe it was just a one-off event, although I wouldn't chance it.
Thank god I went during lunch for the 12 euro lunch special. Paying full price for this meal would have been a bummer.

We tried to reserve a table for 8pm, but was told they didn't do reservations, but the waiter told us there for sure would be a table for us at 8.
We got there at 8 PM sharp and the whole place was full of reserved tables. but there where still plenty left empty. A waiter went to us and told us there was suckling pig, and she would find us a table. Then another waiter, who was full of himself, just rejected us there and told us there is no place, even though there are plenty left.
Snobby, lying and pretentious restaurant. One star is one too many.

Underwhelming. They were out of everything. We came for the pig but they didn't have it anymore (around 2pm). Also on the lunch menu you had 3 desserts options but they were out of 2 and only had the fruit salad left (which no one wanted to order anyway, everyone was asking for the other 2 options). They also conveniently only told us about this when we already ordered other things (eg.drinks, starters) and couldn't back down or change our orders.
The service was slow and the waiters were quite apathetic.
The food was okay. The hake fillets and rice was fine but it would have been nice to have a small leaf or veg salad to go with it. The soup is the day (white bean) was very tasty.
The interior of the restaurant was very cosy and the location is good (close to the church and the main shop street). I think it would be nice to come here for a drink and some snacks, but not for a full meal.

No merece la pena. Precios demasiado elevados para lo que ofrecen... Calidad buena, cantidad extremadamente inexistente... Para colmo, han olvidado atendernos al llegar, han olvidado traernos las copas de vino que hemos pedido, pero no han olvidado pedir la propina en el momento de cobrarnos... No es una opción para mí, y esto me sucede por ir con prisas. Triste.

O restaurante é lindo e aconchegante e o show de fado é excelente e a noite valeu por isso porque a comida deixa muito a desejar. Pedi Javali esravs frio e ruim. O prato é bem pequeno e caro. Queria comer o leitão a bairrada mas havia acabado... dizem que acaba antes de casa encher e por que não fazem mais?

12€ Menu (starter, main dish, dessert). Delicious food for whatever you pick, great deal especially based on the price. The service wasn’t the best but that’s a small detail compared to the restaurant as a whole. We had a great view into the streets of Lisbon and the tram.

Menu à 12€. Abordable et de très bonne qualité, plusieurs plats à base de poisson et de viande sont proposés ainsi que des soupes et une salade en entrée.
Attention cependant aux boissons qui sont un peu chères à mon goût (8€ la sangria 50cl qui revient beaucoup moins chère dans les restaurants moins touristiques).

El lugar muy bonito, columnas y paredes de piedra, techos de bobeda tipo ladrillo rústico y local muy grande.

Cibo nella media e scarso , insufficiente, costoso! Fatto pagare 3€ in più per il pane chiesto che non ci era stato portato con la carne! Staff poco simpatico. Musica di intrattenimento fatta pagare 5€ a testa ma ogni 10min facevano 15 min. di pausa Assolutamente non consigliato!

Considerato che la maggior parte dei locali a Lisbona sono buchi affacciati sulla strada questo ristorante è davvero magico per atmosfera e bellezza. Il cibo è curato ma niente di speciale. Il personale gentile. Se fanno lo spettacolo del Fado andateci, con 5 euro in più vi godete un pezzo di storia portoghese. Prezzi alti, ingiustificato sul cibo ma adeguato in generale per servizi e location.

Local agradável com comida de boa qualidade. No entanto o preço é elevado para as quantidades servidas. Mas o que mais me desagradou foi o facto de não ter leitão ao almoço do dia 31 de dezembro, sendo este um restaurante típico conhecido pelo leitão da bairrada.

When we came to the restaurant first time, we were only drinking port vine and water. There was not so many people so barman Marcello was very friendly and gave us a lot of advices where to go in Lisabon. We decided to come next day as well for dinner and vine. It was delicious. We had plate of ham & cheese. I can really recommend this place because staff there are fully helpful and careful, trying to satisfy guests. But i have also few words for the owner. Please take care about people like Marcello and Frederika because they are reason why we came second time and why we come always when we will be in Lisabon. Let them help you to grow your business

Mysig restaurang, mycket trevlig personal och bra service. God förrätt med stekt svamp och bröd. Åt sedan Leitão för två, helstekt spädgris, en traditionell portugisisk rätt. God smak, men kanske lite snålt med kött. Valde att dela på chefs surprise till efterrätt. En mäktig anrättning, en banankaka med allt! En restaurang som rekommenderas!

Big place, quite empty despite a weekend and the other places were full, very central, they have some special dished make by their chef (which I didn't try). Overall the food is not impressive but ok, a bit overpriced in comparison with the average of other places.

A nice and cosy restaurant next to the cathedral in Lisbon. We had the 12 euro per person "lunch menu" that had three courses combined sangria and wine. The quality of the food was pretty good especially with the low prices. The waiters were really nice and caring and we had lots of fun with them.
On top of that the interior of the restaurant was great, it was dressed really nice and cosy. If you're around the cathedral and looking for a "non tourist trap", cozy place to eat and leave with a full and satisfied tummy while being served by waiters that care, then this is the place!

Uns hat völlig der Regen erwischt und wir wollten um 16.00 Uhr einkehren um etwas zu Trinken. Ohne Essen nur an der Bar im
Stehen erlaubt!!! Das Lokal war halb leer, also viele Tische noch frei. Als unsere Tochter ihre Tasche über den Sessel hängte ist die Kellnerin sofort gekommen und hat gesagt, dass das nicht erlaubt ist. Würde ich am Abend oder zu mittag bei vollem Lokal ja noch verstehen. Völlig unmenschlich, sind wieder in den Regen. Dankeschön!

Restaurante típico, fica bem próximo à Igreja de Santo António de Lisboa. Saindo pela estação do Metro do Terreiro do Paço chega-se ao restaurante com 5 minutos de caminhada. A comida é boa e o lugar acolhedor. O leitão à moda da Bairrada é o carro chefe. O pessoal do restaurante é muito simpático.

grilled bath와 화이트와인 조합이 꽤 좋았습니다 ^^ 유서깊은 곳인만큼 분위기도 좋았구요. 다만 종업원들이 너무 냉담하달까 무관심한 느낌이 들어 아쉽네요. 웃음끼도 없고 최소한의 인사나 질문도 건너뛰는 느낌이라 맛있게 먹고도 좀 얄미웠습니다 ㅎㅎ

I loved it, it’s so close to the cathedral of Lisbon and they do a lunch menu - 12€ for a starter (soup of the day, caldo verde or a salad), main dish (I had a steak with roasted potatoes and veg, delicious!!!) and a dessert (chocolate mousse or fruit salad). Awesome deal, saved my day.

Un po caro per il Portogallo, ma in una capitale 60 € in 3 con ottimo cibo tanta gentilezza e supercocktails sono più che adeguati. Da non perdere. Con qualche euro in più puoi anche andare nella sala con musica dal vivo.

Bon accueil, mais service très lent. Nous avons dû appeler les serveurs (qui n'avaient pas l'air très comodes) à plusieurs reprises afin d'accélérer la cadence.
Menu correct, bon rapport qualité prix, mais le viande (cochon de lait) était froide et le bœuf un peu dur sous la dent.

Restaurant: Good food (the pig is as awesome as they tell you), good wine, good service. Prices are a bit high.
Fado : Don't. The musicians and singers and very good (they really aren't to blame). The problem is that Fado is supposed to be listened in silence. However, the restaurant is separated in two, Fado and not Fado, and you can here people talking on the other side, plus you can also hear the waiters come and go from the kitchen etc. Bad experience for Fado.

Really nice traditional Portuguese food, very good service and a beautiful space. The price is fair - we had an appetizer for share, 3 main dishes, 1 dessert and two bottles of wine (plus a small fee for the live Fado) and paid 107,50€ (for 3 people).
The live Fado is the 'icing on the cake' and makes the whole experience worthwhile! You can't get more Portuguese than this

음식은 늦은 저녁이라 문어요리를 시켰다.
문어가 참 부드럽고 맛있었다.
다른 요리는 어떨지 모르겠지만 문어하나는 참 괜찮았다.
파두공연은 처음이라 수준을 가늠하기 어렵지만,
소름끼치게 잘하진 않았다.
하지만 즐거운 시간이였다.

Great leitao in the heart of Lisbon.
Be aware that they don't serve it until it's ready, 1h & 30min after opening, as they cook it fresh, unlike other places that order it in portions from local farms.
If you like suckling pig, there are few places that do it equally as well.

Sitio histórico alojado en un antiguo sótano del siglo XVI, la comida está muy buena aunque no es barato.
Muy buen trato por parte de los camareros, y varios días a la semana hay actuaciones en directo de fados, aunque a nosotros no nos coincidió.
Recomiendo las croquetas, ya que están espectaculares y con una textura alejada de las clásicas donde abunda la bechamel.
Además nos quedaba al lado de nuestro alojamiento, así q más se puede pedir.

La porta del ristorante era aperta e faceva freddo.
In poche parole un ristorante "SPENNA TURISTI".
Non lo consigliamo. Ovviamente.

Locale carino e spazioso, peccato per il cibo l’accoglienza, soprattutto da parte del gestore , poco ospitale a farla breve.
Per i bambini hanno serviti 2 hamburger crudi e dal cattivo sapore.
Porzioni misere anche per noi adulti che avevamo ordinato del tonno alla brace, anche se ben presentato e con gustose salse, il piatto era misero , ma veramente misero rispetto al prezzo del menù.
Non è il tipico locale Portoghese ospitale e generoso nelle porzioni !

Looked around in the area for a Fado night. The place we originally looked for was quite packed, then we passed this place. Told us they have Fado night and still tables available. So my wife went in...and I waited outside, since we had our Bulldog with (I had some drinks on the street from the next-door bar).
The setting was really nice, very picturesque. Had a glass of white wine (good) and a salad (just ok). But it's all about the Fado anyways. And that one was pretty good here. The female singer had a good voice. Together with the setting of the restaurant it made a really good atmosphere, very relaxed and laid-back.
It was a very good night, ok, we do prefer male Fado singers, but for what it was, it was money and time well spent.

Edificio espectacular. Unas antiguas caballerías del siglo XIII, restauradas y dónde se puede ver el edificio original. La carta está muy bien y el fado, en la noche es de calidad. Al medio día tienen menú a elegir a buen precio. Muy recomendable

Een leuk restaurantje waar we heerlijk gegeten hebben. Genoeg keus. Zelf voor dag menu gekozen wat niet te zwaar op de maag lag wat erg fijn was met de warmte. Bediening was top. Eten werd met zorg opgediend.

Una bellísima velada, la comida perfecta, buen trato, limpieza, buena presentación de los platos. Restaurante muy amplio en comparación con la mayoría de Alfama.
Tuvo una actuación fantástica de la intérprete de fado Filipa Caravalho. Una voz impresionante. Un chorro de voz espectacular. Lugar a tener muy encuenta.
Por poner una pega, la reserva para ver la actuación son 5€ por persona que te cogen de antemano.

Nada de especial no leitão, que, aliás, estava seco e muito diferente do suculento leitão das fotos do estabelecimento, frustrante. Além disso, o serviço no horário de almoço estava péssimo, muito demorado.

Bel ristorante con una vasta gamma di piatti e di vini tipici del Portogallo. Molto buoni gli affettati e la collezione di vino porto sia bianco che rosso. Le porzioni sono abbastanza piccole e i prezzi non propriamente bassi. La qualità comunque dei piatti è molto alta. Ottimi anche i dolci seppur limitati nella scelta.

Nice restaurant located close to one of the major churches. It is caved into the Rock and has enough seatings to cater for a lot of guests. The food is excellent and taste really good. The service is good and responsive.

Es waren noch mehrere Tische frei und wir haben uns hingesetzt um etwas zu trinken. Dann wurde uns gesagt wir müssten etwas zu Essen bestellen oder an der Bar stehen, wenn wir nur was trinken wollen. Das war extrem unfreundlich, wir sind dann weiter gegangen.

Muy bonito el local pero la comida pésima ...Que a nadie se le ocurra pedir choquinos por favor eso son tiras de cuero . El vino caliente y si os dice algún camarero ,por ejemplo, Marcelo ,que tienen arroz potente ,no lo pidais que os van a poner arroz blanco como si fuéras culturistas. Insisto muy bonito local ,local.

conveniently located in the edge of the old town. Busy restaurant with locals and tourists. Back of the dinning area offers dado concert. Fado is played at evening with cover charge of five euros per person. Two guitarists and a lady singer performed when we visited about 75 minutes with about three breaks of total 20 minutes. Powerful voice singer and two wonderful guitarists were very entertaining even for a first time listeners of Fado, the evening was entertainning. Clean rustic and modern medival themed interior with cave like brick ceiling added good acoustic and atmosphere to the performance. The foods were tipical portuguese with good flavors considering it was tourst attractions joint. It was suprising that some of the food were overly salty but good. The bread cod egg, oatmeal like texture casserol, and shrimp had well harmonized flavors, not salty. Beef steak was okay, kinda tough. The serving staff mentioned their specialty was suckling roasted pig. The staffs were friendly and professional..thumb up!!!

Me encantó la comida. No llegué a pedir el Menú pero el cordero estuvo Increíble. Lo recomiendo sin dudar. La cerveza super bock, un poco floja para mi gusto pero tiene carta de cerveza artesanal. Buen lugar para comer.

Lugar muy agradable y tranquilo, con una decoración increíble. El servicio es muy correcto y atento. En cuanto a la comida, exquisita: he tomado una sopa de zanahoria y un "bife gordo", excelentes ambas. Por 12€, el menú está muy muy bien e incluye postres, que pueden ser una mousse de chocolate muy bien hecha o fruta del tiempo. El único pero es que en el menú no se incluye la bebida, y que la cerveza, aunque muy buena, era exageradamente cara.
En resumen: muy recomendable a todo el mundo, y más si no vas a tomar cerveza durante la comida.

Restaurant avec une atmosphère très agréable où l'on peut écouter du fado tout en dégustant une spécialité de cochon de lait. Les entrées comme l'assiette de cochonailles sont conséquentes et nous permettent de gouter quelques spécialités locales. Une véritable expérience. Idéal pour un diner romatique.

Booked for the Fado on the Friday night. atmosphere in, I am told a 250 year old cellar (see pic) A nice meal, we had the Potato Soup followed by the Lamb Stew. Enjoyed the Fado and it was fun to join in some of the chorus even though we had no idea what we were singing. Reasonably expensive but not outlandish.

Die Vorspeise- Käseplatte war klasse, bestehend aus diversen Käse aus diversen Ziegen, Schafs und anderen leckeren Sachen, dazu eine Art Kürbis- Marmelade mit Mandelhobel, welche einen weihnachtlichen Touch nach Bratapfel hatte. Sehr lecker!
Zur Hauptspeise gab es einen Lammtopf mit Kartoffeln und Brot in einer sehr leckeren Soße mit Kräutern. Das Fleisch war sehr zart und hat sich wunderbar vom Knochen trennen lassen. Sensationell!
Dazu gab es einen Gin Tonic auf Eis, welcher sehr fruchtig durch die darin enthaltenen Orangen und Limettenschale darstellte.
Der Service war zwischendurch etwas träge (Gespräche halten, anstatt am Kundenbedürfnis zu sein), aber jederzeit höflich und immer darum versiert alles recht zu machen.
Den Punktabzug wird durch die etwas verunreinigte Herren WC erzeugt. In diesem Ambiente, mit solch einem leckeren Essen darf die Örtlichkeit nicht zu kurz kommen.
Und der Service könnte noch mehr am Gast sein.
Fazit: 4 Sterne sind ein sehr gutes Ergebnis. Das Gesamtpaket passt und wird durch das Geschmackserlebnis zum Highlight.

Tolles Restaurant mit einer tollen Mischung aus regionalen Spezialitäten (Käseplatte einfach super, Lammfleisch ein Traum so zart und lecker im Tontopf serviert). Bedienung ist freundlich und spricht teilweise englisch... die Lage ist super... sehr nah am Castle St. Jorge und nur 10 min zu Fuss zum Hafen oder zur einkaufspromenade entfernt.
Wirklich sehr zu empfehlen und eine topp Adresse für jeden Tourist.

Fuimos con mi familia haciendo reserva para el show del Fado y estuvo ¡es-pec-ta-cu-lar! La comida además es grandiosa y el sitio muy acogedor. No conocí muchos sitios para comer en Lisboa, pero de los que alcancé a visitar, este se lleva la corona. Recomiendo el Pulpo, delicioso.

La grande salle avec ses arcades est très belle, beaucoup de petits éclairages donne de la chaleur à ce grand espace. Je le conseille pour des familles.

Beetje twijfelgeval. We aten er op de middag. Het varkensvlees was lekker maar koud (ik lees dit in verschillende berichten: misschien is dat wel de bedoeling !). Denk traditionele Porugese keuken dus was een kennismaking. Probeer het en deel je mening ....

Essen war zu kalt, nur lauwarm. Wir hatten eine Suppe, die schon eine Haut hatte, weil sie zu kalt war. Als Hauptspeise Spanferkel, was auch zu kalt und von der Menge eher unterdurchschnittlich war. Eigentlich nicht zu empfehlen!

Wir waren zum Fado-Abend dort. Es hat 20 Minuten gedauert bis die Bestellung entgegengenommen wurde. Die Vorspeise wurde nach 25 Minuten serviert, der Hauptgang 125 Minuten nachdem wir Platz genommen haben. Die Gastronomie war ca. 2/3 gefüllt, dass kann also nicht der Grund gewesen sein.
Das Essen an sich war absolut ok, der Ablauf eine Frechheit.

Informação contraditória no início, contudo rapidamente ultrapassada. Almoço com MENU onde esteve incluída sopa, o prato e a sobremesa, as bebidas são à parte por 12€. Sopa saborosa, Leitão muito bem confeccionado. Boa relação preço qualidade contudo os empregados necessitam de formação. Recomendo.
ATENÇÃO que ao jantar costuma ter fados (o espaço é magnífico) mas aqui já se tem pagar TAXA DE ESPECTÁCULO e já é la CARTE.
Não é só um restaurante para estrangeiro. Recomendo. Dou 4.
Fui da segunda vez e pedi o menu com sopa de espinafres e bacalhau o qual estava muito bem empratado e com muito boa aparência, contudo estava cru. Continuo a acreditar neste restaurante contudo baixo para 3,8.

The location and the interior inside was pretty nice. The people to serve was very friendly after sit down to the table but no one talked to the people even the people waiting at the entrance was pretty disappointing. But mostly really good food and atmosphere. Wanna come back again for sure.

I would rate 4.5 if I could. A little confusing when we went in. We weren't sure if we should just take a seat, or wait.
The beer selection is the best we have found since being in Lisboa. They had a female singer accompanied by two guitars which really made it feel special (from a tourist perspective). The prices were higher that average but reflective of the quality.
Before we left a hostess spent time with us to teach us some Portuguese, and some of the history of the building. She was lovely and bonita.

We came after checking the reviews on google. Food is good. The octopus is excellent. Bacalao is good. Nice ambience and nice staff.
Tram 28E passes the door every 5 mins which is nice.

Fui a este restaurante num jantar de Natal e superou as minhas expectativas. O espaço é amplo e bastante interessante. O atendimento foi muito prestável e coordenado tendo em conta a quantidade de pessoas presentes. A comida era bem confeccionada, saborosa e bem servida. Gostaria de voltar para experimentar o restaurante à la carte.

Stopped in for a quick lunch and was not disappointed. The food was good, if not a bit pricey, and the waitress was great. Interesting mix of hip hop music videos and tapas and it seemed there was some animosity between the waitress and the bartender. Overall an interesting and enjoyable outing

Good fado quality. Singers and guitar players.
Restaurant atmosphere is also OK.
Quality is above the average comparing to other not old and not famous traditional fado restaurants.

Numa zona turística da capital, perto da Sé, é um espaço com uma decoração medieval, de acordo com a própria estrutura das instalações. A comida é muito boa, achei o leitão um dos melhores na região de Lisboa. A repetir.

Restaurant authentique sur le chemin du tram 28 et en face d'une belle église. Nous avons eu la chance d'avoir eu la table à la fenêtre.
Le bife est délicieux, servi à la plancha. En dessert, testez le baba do camelo si vous aimez les desserts sucré. Les cocktails sont aussi très bons! Enfin, le service est à la hauteur des plats servis.

Mala experiencia de servicio, desbordados en todo momento, creo que por culpa de la cocina. La comida normal. Comí de menú.

El ambiente cálido no corresponde con el nefasto servicio...50 minutos esperando que nos trajeran tres tapas y nos dicen que una de ellas se les ha acabado! Sin duda busquen otro lugar

Soirée mémorable. Très belle salle voutée, service efficace, repas copieux et de très bonne qualité sous un air de fado sans fausse note.
Des restaurants immanquables comme on aimerait en voir plus souvent. Compter 35-40€ pour un bon repas.
