Nice and popular place, with occasional concerts. The drinks are relatively cheap and the staff are friendly.

Nice food and nice service.
The café helps to support the cultural co-op and employs people from the local community.
The cultural programming is varied and great (from great dj sets to drawing exhibitions, to Bangladeshi live music).
There's free WiFi but you must have a Portuguese mobile number to get your access code.

Nice place to share a few drinks with friends and dance a bit. 2 areas to choose: outside and inside, both with tables and plenty of room. Great option for those who aren't into clubbing and crowded places.
Fantastic location in Intendente and reasonable prices.
Only deal breaker is that they only take cash.

Ottimo locale dove rilassarsi, bere una birra in compagnia e stuzzicare qualcosa. Largo intendente è pieno di piccoli locali ma il cafè di largo fa da padrone. Super consigliato

Nice strip of stores and restaurants near our airbnb. This was the only one opened on our first morning in Lisbon and am so happy to have stumbled across it. They serve coffee and sandwich combos for a good price. Great selection for outdoor seating with umbrella for shade. Service is a bit slow so wouldn't recommend if you're in a rush.

A tiny local place but with a good atmosphere, a big variety of simple food and combo offers. A lovely building decorated in a traditional way. They have outdoor seats and several tables inside. Very nice personnel.

La verdad es que aquí los desayunos están ricos y son baratos. Recomiendo el zumo de naranja y el croissant relleno de jamón y queso. Todo por 5 €.

Cute Hipster café. They used to have very good cakes here made by a local lady. Don't know if that's the case still. The service sometimes is a bit moody.

The policy of this cafe is that you can't work near the bar - I understand and support this idea. I had to move up to the "studio" which is further in the back. When I sat down in the studio, I was again asked to move to the last table in the corner. No daylight, nor mobile service. Unfortunately they could also not give me the wifi key. I was the only guest in a restaurant that can easily host 80 people - still we could not find a solution. When I payed my coffee, they gave me 19€ in coins only...very upsetting - wished to have been able to support a local business.

Preços simpáticos (e difíceis de imaginar na zona em questão) e uma esplanada muito agradável em noites e dias amenos. Ainda não experimentámos as tostas, mas estamos curiosos.

Fui ayer por la noche para beber unas cervezas y había únicamente dos camareros: un hombre y una mujer que parecía ser su primer día de trabajo por la velocidad a la que servían las bebidas. Siempre había muchísima gente esperando en la barra. Yo esperé más de 20 min delante de la barra hasta que uno de ellos me atendió... Había buen ambiente pero el servicio fue bastante lento en todo momento.

Excelente opção para saídas à noite ou para uma refeição prática (sanduíches/saladas). O serviço podia ser ligeiramente mais rápido, mas os empregados são muito simpáticos. Boa relação qualidade/preço: tendo em conta a qualidade da comida, o espaço e a localização central os preços estão dentro do expectável.

Pareceu-me um sítio de snobs. Estive no balcão em frente a dois empregados e nenhum dos dois me atendeu, sendo eu a única pessoa no balcão e estando bem visível.

Óptima esplanada. O local é giro, espaçoso, mt à vontade. Na minha opinião os funcionários não são simpáticos e temos que esperar imenso tempo para ser atendidos. Parece que lhes estamos à fazer um favor. Por isso não venho cá mais vezes.

Ambiance très sympa, à la cool ! Service au top avec en prime quelques leçons de Portugais quand on fait l'effort de parlais quelques mots. La place Largo est très agréable. Et pas cher en plus.

Baixei de 4 para 2 estrelas.
Continuo a gostar do local, e a esplanada é agradável, mas cada vez estou mais desapontado com o serviço, começando a entrar na categoria de sítios a evitar

I like this place - cosy, atistic, I used to recommend it to some friends, however... The internet is horrible and it's a must for a coffee. A coffee needs to have a good and stable internet. Today the internet was gone, I asked the "boss" to restart, I don't know if he did something, but I went back to him and he said " What can I do, just go to another place" - no, I think just change you internet provider.

Cute place to get a small breakfast or lunch and coffee. Free WiFi. Has small events like a trivia night and stuff. They Speak English fluently. Their grilled cheese (tosta queijo) is like Panini style too.

Café agradável, apesar da esplanada sem personalidade. Ligado ao Largo Residencias Artisticas, pelo que tem sempre um toque cultural agradável. Exposições, pequenos concertos e noites de danças tradicionais. A não perder para quem passa pelo Intendente.

Terrible service. I waited in the counter for more than 2 minutes and no one even looked at me when I was the only person standing there. I just left. Josephine has better prices and a nicer service.
Esperei ao balcão mais de 2 minutos e era a única cliente dentro do café. Ninguém me dirigiu a palavra nem para dizer bom dia.

Friendly, artistic café with cosy indoor seating as well as nice outdoor seating for sunny days. You can easily get lunch here for €5, and the food is simple but tasty (think proper sandwiches, quiche, salads and soup). Vegetarians are well catered for. They also have cakes and pastries. Good mix of locals and tourists. Recommended!

Full of interesting characters, derelict furniture, amazing toasts and cold beer. There's plenty of shows and vernisages every week. Also one of the fee places in Lisbon where you can get a Club Mate
