Hervorragend! Sehr lecker und günstig noch dazu. Kommen immer wieder gern hier her. Man kann die Speisen auch vorbestellen und mitnehmen. Es gibt einen eigenen Parkplatz, aber es ist immer sehr voll, besonders Abends. Auch super für Familien geeignet.

Leur spécialité du poulet grillée épicé. Très bon.
Il le proposent en nature, moyennement épicé, ou épicé. Je l'ai pris moyennement, et c'était pas fort. J'aurai sûrement pu prendre me maximum.

Really lovely local restaurant with delicious food! The special chicken is amazing and the steak as tender as you could want! Staff are very helpful, friendly and welcoming! Would highly recommend a visit!

Genial, 100% recomendable. No dejéis de pedir el pollo al carbón. Viene servido con patatas fritas (buenisimas), arroz y frijoles. Servicio muy muy bueno. Para dos pedimos: 1 pollo al carbón, una cerveza muy grande (0'5ml) una pequeña, pan con mantequilla y aceitunas, y un brownie ( riquisimo) por menos de 20 E!! Genial todo

They have a 4 item set menu. Have tried three of the 4 options and found the food lovely. Service can be a bit slow and soft drinks options are a little limited but it is an easy to get to venue. Parking is limited so get there early or walk if possible. It's always busy which is a good sign for a restaurant. Will definitely come back again and again...

Sou fã deste restaurante mas acho que ultimamente o cozinheiro descuida se um pouco com os grelhados. Já 2 vezes que a picanha vem um pouco queimada. Há que ter atenção até porque esse é o prato favorito de muita gente.

They mixed up our orders. Took a long time. Not impressive!
The steak orders (when finally arranged properly) were all off; my cousin ordered well done and received medium rare. This was the same for many others with me. Cooking a steak is a staple skill and should not be messed up so easily.we could have cooked better!

guess the manegement changed or sum, last time we where there there were various things on the menu and the food was delicious en not overpriced then we went back a year later ad there's four things on the menu i mean seriously also the main dishes are like 10 euro's but they trap you by having apetizers of 14 bucks so you end up paying like 100 euro's voor a 2 course meal of 3 people (wich is waaaaayyy to much for a restaurant of this caliber) defenetly a tourist trop the waiters are like real nice tho so i'll give them that

Arrived on a cool, rainy night in April after flying in from Lyon. Bit tired. We were swept away with Portuguese hospitality. Fantastic. Chorizo (sorry for spelling), exceptional. Piri piri chicken delicious. One of the better red wines of our two weeks in this lovely country. Friendly service...and lastly, great prices for the quality. We look forward to returning on our next visit. Obrigado.

Fantastic lunch as usual but you need to control the people coming in with out masks. Very disappointing we know it's not easy but if it's a rule you can not apply to some and not others. Apart from that important issue food and service was top class as usual.

Very good value for money.
The food quality is really good, and the prices are excellent value for money.
However, this places biggest asset is the team.
The service is better than many higher end restaurants Quinta & VDL.
The team are friendly, warm and extremely professional. The service is outstanding.
Would highly recommend!

A comida é boa mas pouca orientação, são 5/ 6 pessoas a vir a mesma messa por vezes sinto me como o gira disco por que tenho que repetir sempre a mesma coisa foi difícil conseguir ter uma conversa com o meu cliente pois volta e meia estava a ser interrompida pelos funcionários, de resto não tenho nada apontar a comida e exelente, aconselho um funcionário para três ou quatro meses é não 5/6 funcionários para a mesma messa.

Very nice Piri Piri chicken. The place is busy, everything is fresh and cooked to perfection. The spices are well balance, the meat is tender an juicy yet the skin is crispy. Clientèle is balanced between locals and tourists. Service is good, and pricing fair.

Genuinely this is an amazing restaurant! For only €12 I got peri peri chicken, a huge plate of fries, onion rings, mushy peas and a Coke. It was all amazing quality and I had enough left over to take it home for lunch. Couldn't recommend it higher!

This place was absolutely phenomenal. We got the chicken lunch special for two which was a whole chicken with fries. We were famished and this hit the spot. The chicken was cooked to perfection. The skin was nice and crispy. The seasoning was great. The French fires were ridiculously good. Soo freaking good. I could have eating them by the buckets. I don't know what potatoes they use, or oil, or seasoning but it was probably one of the best I've ever had.
The service was amazing. Great staff. Great atmosphere. Great price. Definitely a gem.

Heerlijk gegeten. De kip piri piri was top! Lekkere patatjes erbij. Bediening heel erg vriendelijk, kortom, een prima restaurant. Niet alleen kip op het menu, ook andere soorten vlees en/of gerechten.

Das Restaurant hat zwar nur eine kleine Auswahl, die unserer Meinung nach aber vollkommen ausreichend ist.
Das Steak (war perfekt Medium gebraten) und die Fish and Chips waren super lecker und der Salat als Beilage völlig ausreichend.
Parkplätze sind hinter dem Restaurant vorhandenen.

Waiting staff were late at first, some of the waiters had a little bit of an attitude which improved later on. The piri piri chicken was okay, fries were a little over done, tomato onion salad was nice.

Das Ambiente im Außenbereich ist super.
Das Essen war geschmacklich als auch preislich top. Die Beilagen (Onion Rings, schwarze Bohnen etc. waren echt viel für den Preis von 1,90€)
Der Service war ebenfalls sehr gut.
Wir würden auf alle Fälle wiederkommen wenn wir nochmal in der Nähe Urlaub machen:)

Adorei o espaço... Tem um espaço exterior muito agradável, com bons pormenores decorativos, para os dias bons.
O atendimento é simpático e atencioso.
A comida é boa, contudo apenas posso falar do frango e dos pasteis de bacalhau com molho que são TOP.

Delicious simple food, beautifully cooked and presented, served by delightful people in a shabby chic restaurant at amazing value. What more could you want from a casual holiday dinner. Oh, and the bonus of two trains passing by on the adjacent track was quite special too! Lovely evening in a very pleasant atmosphere, we will certainly be back. Thank you to all the staff who provided it all.

Beautiful terrace to enjoy lunch alfresco under the inviting shade of beautiful trees. Very attentive friendly waiters, delicious English style dishes like Pasties, Fish & Chips. Wonderful roasted chicken besides being reasonably priced.

Delicious local cuisine. Big portions. Simple menu modestly priced. Offer of mains, a drink and a cup of coffee for €10.90. A quaffable rose to wash the pallet. Casual ambiance with wooden tables and comfortable seats set in a large garden with atmospheric lighting. Highly recommended.

We have been here many times since it opened. The food is consistently good and the service friendly and efficient, it is very popular with local people which is always a good sign. Our two grandsons with special needs receive special treatment by the lovely staff and they get very excited to see the train go by. We highly recommend Piri Piri, great food at a very sensible economic price.

Simple but very nice menu. Piri Piri offers only half a dozen starters and similar number of mains, but the third of the menu we had was all very tasty and portions generous - with very friendly service - and at €53 for 3, represented good value. The restaurant is nicely decorated, and very clean, with plenty of parking.

Perfect for lunch, especially tables outside. Not crowded. Waiters are friendly and polite, speak English.
Portions are big but not huge)), which lets you order more then one thing.
Lunch for two, like, a starter and a salad (big plate), 2 main courses, side dishes, water and cocktails, 2 deserts would cost ~50eur
